Shwarma Express

Solid place to solve your shawarma craving. We were visiting Phoenix and wanted something relatively near our hotel that we could take to-go!We ordered online, and our order was correct so that's a big plus right there. Really liked their rice, which is not typically why I order chicken shawarma or a gyro platter (we ordered two of each in order to feed the family), but their rice really was exceptional! There was plenty of seating inside for anyone who wants to eat at the restaurant.

Long over due review! The food was great and the owners were warm and welcoming! Will definitely be back!

OUTSTANDING FOOD. When I walked in the restaurant was extremely clean. All the tables were clean and filled with utensils, condiments and such a clean table top! It made me want to sit there and eat and I would have had I not had to rush back to work. The menu wasn't too crowded with tons and tons of dishes to choose from which was helpful since it was my first visit. I chose the gyro plate which came with gyro meat (a generous portion), delicious rice, a yummy fresh salad and the BEST hummus I've had in quite a while. They even packed a side of warm pita bread which as a delightful addition for the hummus. The minute I brought it back to the office it was still piping hot and absolutely delicious. So delicious that I called the restaurant to thank them and share truly how much I enjoyed my meal and was so happy I stopped by! Furthermore told them they acquired a new reoccurring customer! :)

The food is awful. They put their Shawarma on tortillas enough said. It's like they don't even even try to be authentic. I'm from Michigan so I harsh critic but if you want real food, this is not it

Was visiting from out of town and saw this local restaurant nearby. Their combos are a good deal and delicious. It was $10.99 when we went and included the shawarma, drink, and fries. The fries were so good, we even came back the next day bc we were craving them that badly! Of course the chicken shawarma was great too- highly recommended. A decent size for one person. Service was great and there's a lot of parking. Restaurant is in the same lot as Vons.

The food here is just great and I love it. We come often. What annoys me beyond words is that they request a tip before the order is even finished. On the counter is one of those machines for your credit/debit card and several tipping options appear.This is basically adding money to the price they charge and I fail to see the reason any customer should do it. Tips are for sit-down service or for big, complicated orders . . . situations where the employee does something extra or especially well, not when s/he does exactly what the job is.This needs to end!

The place was empty when I stopped in to place an order to go...I was on my way to the soccer fields to watch my kid play and picked up a salad for myself and a Chicken Shawarma Plate for my husband.Portions were huge, prices were reasonable, and our food was the envy of all of the other parents on the sidelines.Would I rush back? Probably not. However, if you're in the mood for some fast casual dining to eat in or dine out, and you don't care about ambiance, you can't go wrong with this place.

Talk about a hidden gem! Been going here for a year now, one of three best Shwarma places around! The food is so flavorful and the staff are all very friendly! 5/5!

I asked the person working at the counter if they would order the falafel sandwich or the veggie plate, and they said the sandwich. Great choice. I went back the next night and ordered it again.

Great clean place. Will be coming back. Chicken sharma is amazing. Friendly people.
