Hubby and I came to the beach today. I had been craving boiling crab so hubby gave me the option of going there or trying this new place. We came here and it didn't disappoint! Food is so good and they have great deals here. Everyone is so kind and attentive! Love the music playing. We got the smothered fries - deliciousFried zucchini- best I've ever had!Calamari-crispy, delicious and hubby said the sauce that came with it was really goodGumbo-yumShrimp in house sauce with corn, sausage and potatoes. So good!! If you like boiling crab and such, definitely recommend this place!!

Was craving Cajun shrimp but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg going to the place in Convoy. I am so glad I found this place! Cravings satisfied! My husband and I ordered the following: - 1 lb of peeled shrimp house sauce medium with 1 corn- 1/2 lb shrimp (headless) house sauce atomic- Cajun fries- small riceEverything was great, but I would recommend getting the headless shrimp with shell versus the peeled shrimp because the peeled shrimp didn't taste as flavorful or as juicy as the shrimp with the shell on. If you love spice, the atomic is the way to go. Atomic is spicy, but not unbearable. The medium didn't seem spicy at all to me. The fries were good, pretty basic but I loved soaking it in the sauce that the shrimp came in and then dipping it in ranch. The shrimp sauce tasted so good on the white rice along with some lemon juice! Yum! Service was good! Our waiter was nice and came by when we needed him. The ambiance is casual so you definitely don't need to dress up.

Shrimp/corn weren't super fresh and on the small side + sauce was watery and wasn't very flavorful (my guess is because it didn't have very much garlic or spices). Pretty disappointing after reading all of the good reviews about this place. The Cajun seafood boils in NorCal are definitely much better. Garlic noodles were also really salty and I had to drink a lot of water. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is that the waitstaff was pretty nice and the food came out pretty quickly. But would not come back here again and would probably just skip Cajun seafood in San Diego for good after this experience. Lots of significantly better options serving fresh locally-caught fish. I hate to say it but this was probably the lone miss food-wise on my recent trip to San Diego.

Friends and I were craving seafood boil and I saw this place had pretty good ratings! We went on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy, there were a few empty tables. We were a party of 6 so we needed to have two tables be pushed together. When I walked in, there was a man who kind of side eyed us and gave off the attitude that he was tired and didn't really want to deal with us. We assumed it was because he had a long day and only saw it was him and another guy waiting on people so we cut him some slack. He told us it would take a while because we had a large party and after us two small parties showed up. Almost 20-30 minutes later we were finally seated and it took another 15-20 minutes for us to be able to order. Then another 15-20 minutes for food. The reason why I didn't dock off more stars for the wait is because it seems like they're a small business and after interacting with the waiter he was really nice and chill. They just need more people working so that the wait for seating/ordering/food doesn't take so long. I got the 1lb shrimp with house sauce and it was so good! My group got the combo with house sauce and it was pretty good as well. I would say if you are on a time crunch to not come here, but if you have time this place is great!

Attempted to try this place out after reading good reviews. We walked in to be rudely greeted by the host/server. He asked us how many in our party (3) and said wait outside. He was just completely rude and we can tell he was frustrated from being understaffed. After watching 3 other parties leave, in a time frame of over 40 minutes, we decided to leave as well. We decided it wasn't worth waiting. But the major issue is the rude host. Please fix your issues Shrimp Heads. I'd like to try this place once you get your act together.

May be my boyfriend's and I new go-to seafood boil place in the San Diego area! Super cute decor in the inside and there's a parking lot to the right and left of the restaurant which is a gem for it being located in North Park! Servers were really nice and everything seemed to be made fresh to order! We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 seafood boils (we meant business). Raw oysters (5/5): for the price alone, it deserves all the stars! 6 for $9!!! And that's their usual price, what a bargain! And these oysters were big and tasted pretty good! My boyfriend was originally just gonna eat only one but he ended up eating 3 bc it was that good. Came w/ cocktail sauce, Tabasco sauce and lemon! Smothered house fries (4/5): my bf said these were the best fries he's had ever bc the horseradish component really leveled it up according to him. Me personally, I don't like my fries to have too much sauce as it becomes soggy but these fries despite the different sauces on it, took a bit of time for it to be soggy.Garlic noodles (4/5): first bite was chef's kiss but then after a while, it was a bit salty and kinda heavy. But you can tell this Cajun place is Asian influenced as I can taste the umami flavors in the noodles (and the seafood boil but I'll get to it in a second) Crawfish and shrimp (4/5): we both each got a lb of each and mixed all the flavors and got medium spice. Honestly we could've gotten atomic because medium tasted mild to us. The crawfish I believe was in season bc all of it were HUGE and so fresh! A lot of them had roe in it mmm and the shrimp heads didn't taste grimey. The only thing is that the shrimp was a bit overcooked and the sauce had too much of a celery taste for our liking. Also it seems like our sauce was inconsistent bc mine was on the watery and salty side while his was a bit thicker. We love the buttery garlicky chunks that's seen in a lot of Cajun seafood boils so this was a bit different from that. It honestly reminds me of my family's variation of seafood boil bc I know a lot of Vietnamese people utilize citrus and celery in their boils. All in all though it was still good! Definitely gonna take my housemates here for a house dinner sometime for the great price and phenomenal quality. I hope the quality stays consistent for my next visit!
