We planned on going somewhere else for getting Korean Food for dinner but the other please. We had in mind clothes really early so we ended up here. Real good find! Husband and I ordered a lot of food and it was good enough for 2 meals! Really big portion size!Japche -Amazing! The glass was so light and had a good amount of vegetables in there and the flavor was amazing as well. Massive portion size too. Did not seem oily at all and just a good item. Bulgogi -Such a flavorful and tender and perfect beef! They really marinated the meat well. Did not seem like a fatty cut of meat at all. Loved it.Game with rice on the side and a lot of other Korean side dishes which were delicious. The mixed greens, cauliflower and miso soup were mine and husband's favorite! Hot Stone Bibimbap - last minute decision to order this and it was a very good decision. Big bowl of food with amount of vegetables on top and rice on the bottom. Then you mix it all in and eat; The flavors went together so so so so well. The crispy rice on the bottom that stuck to the hot store... BEAUTIFUL Service was also pretty quick and we appreciated that. Food was all hot and steamy but not so hot that it burnt your tongue. Just perfect.

Restaurant looks clean. Although Sunday night looks busy with customers at 6pm, we got a table to sit down right away. However, we waited for 15 mins for the server to come over and take our order. This is a family business. Everyone works here is a family member. They were really understaffed during busy hours. We did the all-u-can-eat BBQ for $32. Decent sides and meats. They do give big portions of meat with each order so that we can be left alone for a while.Good to have another choice for AUCE BBQ instead of a major chain restaurant in the area.

Happy to find a family-owned Korean restaurant that serves all the traditional food in addition to the ever-popular BBQ! We ordered mandu (dumplings), mul naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles), and dduk guk (rice cake soup). Food was good and portions were decent. It was a little hard getting a server's attention because we were seated in the room adjacent to the main BBQ space. Overall, though, a good solid spot for authentic Korean food!

The Korean bbq here is good and they offer big thin slices of beef or chicken bulgogi. The side dishes, salad and sauces were delicious . There are many options for meats like pork belly but the bulgogi options are the best. Their frozen shrimp came to table whole and unpeeled while many other places peel their shrimp. They offer an all you can eat bbq combo for $31.95, which is a fair price. The restaurant had several customers and at times it was very hard to get a waitress. There were long waits and breaks. We often ran out of sides, drinks and meats. This is a problem if you are eating all you can eat and need more meat to bbq. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. They keep the bbq tables and grill plates very clean. Overall, if service was more attentive on a non crowded day, it should rate close to 4 stars.

Came to this place on a whim and glad we checked it out! We decided to do the AYCE BBQ. The menu is very limited compared to other KBBQ spots - it's just meat, steamed egg, miso soup, and french fries. Meat quality here is really good! It's not frozen. Dipping sauce for the meat was great. They have the best steamed egg here! I don't usually order steamed egg at KBBQ but the one here was just amazing and flavorful. The sides were the best I've had, especially the fish cake and potato salad. Not the best service here but that's because it's family owned and understaffed. They are trying their best! Inside is very spacious and clean. I would definitely come back to try their menu items!

We came on a Friday night and our party of 2 got seated right away. We had the Bulgogi and Kimchi Soup for $24 with rice and banchan. Very good deal if you asked me! I love their rice, so fluffy and moist. Their spicy octopus hot stone rice was okay, I appreciated all the flavors and noticed it did not have an overly sweet taste like a lot of Korean restaurant here make it. The customer service was sweet and friendly.

With the current heat, cold noodles is the way to go! We ordered for pick up and it was a bIt chaotic as two ladies tried to fill all the orders on a Friday night. Portions were generous and my favorite side was the eggplant. Can't wait to come back for dine in.

Like others have pointed out on here we also tried to get into Gyu-Kaku and they had a 2 hour wait. This also happens at their Gyu-Kaku restaurant downtown impossible to get in....... Anyway we were so happy we found this place. They get really busy and the servers are running back and forth taking care of all of the guests.Seriously large portions as we didn't do AYCE we ordered a large plate (manpo special) with pork, lamb, octopus, shrimp and beef. It was enough to feed probably 6-8 people. We had so many leftovers to take home. The staff did well keeping our banchan filled and didn't have a single complaint and don't regret not being able to get into Gyu-Kaku.For sure will be back.

I want to like this place because it's the closest Korean restaurant to where we live but we will not be returning for several reasons. It's dirty. The tables and floors are sticky, there's grease on the walls, and cobwebs on the lights hanging over the table. We should've just left because I immediately lost my appetite. The food is not good. We ordered some kbbq meats, cold noodles and a tofu soup. I don't have anything good to say about them. Despite being one of maybe five tables in the whole restaurant, the servers barely looked over at our table.

A hidden gem that everyone needs to try!We had a large party reservation for a celebration a few weeks ago. Kay and Chris are so accommodating and so sweet. They made the process smooth and they were very easy to work with. They have a patio and private area for reservations and allowed us to choose either or even take over both. They allowed us to bring in decorations we wanted (including a standing backdrop and a full-size cardboard cutout of a person) and allowed us to play music through our Bluetooth speaker. They let us set the vibe for our party and it was perfect. All our guests LOVED the food. Many of them said you can tell that is restaurant is family-owned because the quality of Shozen's food was (in lack of less-cliché terms) "made with love" versus the larger chain Korean restaurants. They put effort into their food and makes sure everyone enjoys it. Servers were so nice as well! Kudos to the servers and cooks!Thank you Kay and Chris for allowing us to have our dinner party at your venue!
