Absolutely incredible! I've had BBQ from several states around the county, and this is one of the best for sure! When I want BBQ - this is what I want! No frills, just delicious meet, cooked to perfection and some slammin sides. Menu isn't extensive, it's exactly what you can expect from a bbq joint, and nothing that you don't. Great vibe, friendly service. Would certainly visit again next time I'm visiting Nashville ! Ya gotta try the coleslaw! Brisket was the best of everything.

Another amazing experience but in their new location. We went early in case they sold out and so glad we did as by lunch time the line was out the door!They have all the meats and a lot of fun sides. I e got the brisket with green beans and Cole slaw, plus some jalapeño cornbread. Yum! I'm usually not a meat eater but this kept me stealing bites from my spouse's plate!Definitely try their desserts as well as all the items are delicious.Not to be missed when in Nashville!

Ok! Color me shocked. I travel for a living and have a lot of Texas and Texas Style BBQ. This was hands down the best i've ever had. We got a brisket plate and a pulled pork plate with a jalapeño cheddar sausage and a beef sausage to split. We were a little late in the day and they were out of ribs so i'll be back soon to try those. The pork was perfect and the brisket was too. The sausage was spot on as well. Jalapeño cheddar being my fave. The folks at the counter were super nice and welcoming and cut a generous portion of the meats. I also thought the sides were spectacular. Especially the green beans. Yes, they are that good. I cant say enough about this place. My new regular BBQ place!

One of the most original BBQ spots in the Nashville area! Everything on the menu has a unique take on a BBQ classic. For example, the baked beans had a whiskey taste. Each plate comes with two sides. We ordered a pulled pork plate with mac and cheese and cornbread as well as a brisket plate with baked beans and potato salad. We also got a beef sausage to try. Everything was really delicious and fresh. Plates came with complementary pickles and pickled onion, which cut the meaty taste very well. We went around 12:30 on a Saturday. There was a decent (~20 person) line, but none of the menu items had run out. Plenty of indoor seating. The owner of the restaurant helps with order intake and service!

I came here on the opening day of their new location. There was a well deserved line. This is probably the best barbecue spot in all of Tennessee. Edley 's, Martin's, Pegleg Porkers doesn't have flavors and meat near the quality and flavor of Shotgun Willies and the sides here are FANTASTIC and unique. First off, none of their meats needed a sauce. This signifies how good the quality of the bbq and rub is. I got ribs, brisket, sausage, and two sides and a banana pudding. The brisket was thick juicy and flavorful. The ribs were out of the world. They were BIG and the rub was delicious. My seams were bursting and I was still trying to stuff more into my stomach.I also really enjoyed potato salad and hominy side. AND the banana pudding was very good too.Unfortunately the corn bread was dry, but 9/10 things were spot on.

This is authentic Texas BBQ. Best BBQ in Nashville by a mile. Make sure you get the brisket. The people are incredibly nice and you can tell they take pride in what they are serving. Awesome selection of sides, the sausage is awesome, BBQ sauce options are great, and overall just a 10/10.

Outstanding spot in Nashville, and worth the drive outside of the city. Perfect flavor, bark, smoke ring, etc. it just scratched the itch of watching all these competition bbq shows on Netflix. Consider this an investment in your taste buds and soul!

If you're looking for the best BBQ in the city. Look no further. The magic really starts with the people behind the counter. From the owner chopping up the meat, to the most inspiring dishwasher, to all the staff in between. My first visit was so lovely, it made my whole week. Aside from a cool place, serving up high quality and delicious food. I am most impressed by the positive energy and vibe this place has. It's obvious the owner carefully picks who he hires and what he does.I highly recommend this spot. Whatever you get. Is sure to be amazing. But my top favorites, were those 1/2 rack of ribs, the wagyu brisket, and those baked beans. RIDICULOUS goodness.

Yum! Solid spot. Great BBQ and friendly service. Very casual and no nonsense but everyone inside was friendly and it was spotless and well-maintained inside. We stopped in about 25 minutes before close so they were sold out of ribs for the day and nearly out of brisket so my husband snagged the last platter of Brisket while I got a pulled pork sandwich served with Cole slaw on it and pickled red onion and pickles on the side. My side was Texas baked beans. They were good but a bit spicy! I added the jalapeño cornbread for $1 and it was fresh, moist and well worth the addition! My pulled pork was delicious. A huge portion on the sandwich and very moist and flavorful. It's dry and you add your sauce from the table. Their sweet tea was SO good. I had like 3 cups of it. Tasted just like my grandma's!

I absolutely loved this place!! The staff was super friendly and talked you through the ordering process and there was only a small line when I arrived upon opening. The pork belly burnt ends were available and if you have the chance get them! They were my favorite item- so delicious!! The brisket was well flavored and very tender and honestly I'm surprised they don't sell it for more $. Great value for the combo. The dill potato salad was very good and I felt like had the perfect amount of dill. And the green beans were fantastic! I really liked the regular (non spicy) bbq sauce. Had the perfect tang to complement the meat. I was disappointed in the ribs which were not tender at all and had lots of gristle and small bone chips in them. I understand there will be bones, but there were way more small pieces than any ribs I've ever had. They were also much smaller than any bbq ribs I had in Texas and it was hard to get much meat off. If I had seen them prior to ordering I would have passed on them. I also wished the coleslaw would have had more flavor but it was very bland. I will definitely come back, but wouldn't order either of these items again. Overall - definitely order brisket and pork belly burnt ends! Those were 5 stars!
