I've been attending the Shoreline Farmers Market since it's inception at City Hall. I like how the relocation to Aurora Square has grown with each season. Definitely there are more vendors: fresh seasonal produce, food stands/ trucks, artisan crafts, fresh flowers, bread, cheese, live music....you have to check it out on Saturdays until 3pm.Today visited Hot Buns food truck, Timber City ginger beer, and Seattle Pops! Delicious additions to this weekend community gathering, located at the Sears parking lot.

Now located at the new Shoreline City Hall check this site for more info: http://www.shorelinefarmersmarket.org/We popped in on the grand opening weekend, 6-16, it was nice to see the Shoreline community out in support of this event. This market has a new location and day of operation. Now open June through October, open on Saturdays.I hope for continued success of this venture for the city, really it does help the City of Shoreline establish some kind of personality, the clean up and development of the Aurora corridor has helped a lot as well. I'm glad there seems to be plenty of parking, even with the large number of people attending the opening weekend and of course it is a dog friendly location! One of the vendors I spoke to was pleasently surprised at the turn out, he asked me what kind of advertisment had the City done. I mentioned that the monthly newsletter and great community support has kept this news in the forefront of our area. While the produce vendors were a bit lacking, a chalk board announced that next weekend, 6-23, the full assortment of produce would be available, we'll check it out for sure.As with most Farmer's Markets they accept WIC/SNAP/EBT.For something new to Shoreline, it was a pleasent surprise, job well done!

I have visited the farmer's market at its previous location and loved to shop the local & organic produce stalls. This season i visited the market at its new location at the shoreline sears upper parking lot. Pro- better parking options.Cons- very few produce stands - 2 to be exact. Many food options but costly. Not what I am looking for when wanting to go to a farmer's market. More like a mini taste of shoreline than a true farmers market. Not sure where the farmers went but please come back- i miss you!

It goes on every Thursday from 3pm to 7pm from May through the beginning of October. I used to frequent it while I worked for the Alzheimer's Association and miss not having it closeby during the summer months. Each week there would be a different artist or musician there to help enterain the people perusing the organic stands. There are some of the best fresh herbs and amazing goat cheese. I also like the lettuce booth and it was always fun to get the flowers of the season at the flower booth near the back. What a great way to support your local farmers and enjoy the fruits and veggies of their labor :).

I was amazed at the selection of this amateur farmers market. I went to PCC last week and spent just as much for half as much groceries! Barron Farms is definitely unbeatable when it comes to taste and price. The ice cream lady is amazing! They always have live music playing and its chill atmosphere makes it a weekend treat. Easy parking too!

Small farmer's market,, and a good Saturday market. Good variety on stands even if small; including ice cream in pints and organic meats.Has it's own parking so it is an easy stop to support local farmers. Recommend!

They have lots of fresh vegetables. All of the vendors are really nice. Plenty of parking spaces and they are really close to Central Market. One stop, you get all you need for your weekly groceries.

I've been here twice this season and I'm not that impressed with this particular farmers market. It's quite small and there's not many vendors, in my opinion. The vibe is totally different than LFP farmers market (which I prefer). I always leave empty handed which is pretty sad. I did buy a cheesy round load of bread for $8 the first time around, though lol I like that this farmers market is now located in the parking lot in front of sears next to central market. Lots of parking so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. I always end up going to central market afterwards to scope out their sales of the day. Overall, I probably would only visit again if I was planning to go to central market (which is slim). I have high hopes that this Market will eventually expand and have more vendors here.

We just recently moved to the area but of course COVID-19 has upended a lot of the regular culture around the Seattle/Shoreline area. For a while, the farmers market here had been closed joining the rest of the community in flattening the curve. However, given a better understanding of the social distancing impacts on SARS-CoV-2 spread, the Shoreline Farmers Market has reopened with guidelines in place to ensure patrons are kept safe. First of all refer to the main website for specific dates when they are open and which venders will be available. We went on a Saturday to see what they had to offer (and also because we wanted to stop by Central Market). We weren't sure what we would find but what we did see impressed us! First off, there's only one entrance into the farmers market. Be sure to have your face covering because you're not allowed in without one. They count the number of people going in to limit the crowd and then we count how many people go out as well. The first few venders were fruits and vegetables. We stopped by the cherry booth and they had rainier cherries the size of almost ping pong balls. No joke. Not only were they large, but they were sweet. A great way for us to start! We walked over to the honey vender as well; a group that sells honey harvested from hives in people's local yards. From what we are told, the honey tastes pretty consistent from location to location early in the season but as more plants and flowers open up later, local flavors start popping out. Further down was also a mushroom vender that had beautiful piece of lions mane. If you have never cooked with lions mane before, I encourage you to try especially with some pasta, pancetta and butter. Delicious! Around the corner, a family was selling fresh made mozzarella and a food truck in the back was selling sweet and savory pies. All in all, this was a good find for us and we are certainly excited to revisit in the future!
