Shing Ya Izakaya

We stopped by at Shing Ya Izakaya on our way to the airport.It was 2 pm, kinda late to lunch time.We ordered a fried rice, dragonroll and edamame.To our surprise, it is one of the best fried rice. Love the flavor!!! It has the "wok hay", which is crucial for every stir fry dishes.Sushi is very light with thin layer of rice. (That's the right way of making sushi rolls!) Very refreshing! Service is polite. We hope to be back to Katy, TX

This place is amazing and the food is delicious! I get the beef bowl every time and I'm always craving more! What makes this place even better is the amazing hospitality from the owner. She is super nice, sweet and makes you feel at home. Her hospitality is what makes me come back every week. Her service is top notch! The restaurant is very well kept and cozy. If you want some delicious food and amazing customer service, please visit this restaurant.

No customer was in there when we walked in on Friday during lunch hours. Nothing was wrong until my Chicken ramen arrived. I asked for medium spicy but it came plain. That's not the issue, the issue is they provide homemade Chinese chili sauce, which is not matching with Japanese Ramen soup. Hopefully they will have normal Japanese chili sauce when next time we visit.

Food was AMAZING. We had a couple of rolls and fried rice and a sushi bowl! Definitely going back!Nice staff! Welcome to Katy! Love the look and decors!

I came here with my mom and The food was great ( perfectly cooked and tasty) And I love the service too! I completely recommend this places.
