Food was really tasty. We ordered kibbeh --amazing, but the pita bread was just alright. Not the best but not the worst either. Their wraps were delicious, my kiddos loved it. Falafel was definitely delicious. Shawarmas were delectable. Chicken kebab was delicious but had lot of food coloring. Baba ganoush was very flavorful. Bakhlava was very fresh and super tasty. Turkish coffee was aromatic, flavorful and yummy.

The shawarma was good but the description of the shawarma didn't match, instead of it being thin slices of chicken it was chunks of chicken breast. The fries was nasty, I don't think it's fresh cut "in house" fries it tasted like frozen fries from the grocery store and also the oil it was cooked in tasted old, as if they don't clean the oil on a regular basis. Lastly the man at register was sick with a runny nose and kept blowing his nose with the same tissue paper for at least 15-20mins w/o disposing of it or washing his hands; he was also the guy bagging the food and getting said beverages. Which was disgusting and part of my low scoring.

Chicken shawarma - 8.5/10 - One of the freshest shawarmas ive had, i love that it was crispy too, but could use more flavor. Fries - 9/10 - Crispy and seasoned. Paired with their garlic sauce was chefs kiss.I absolutely love shawarmas so I was excited to try this spot and was not disappointed. One of the best shawarmas ive had in Houston.

So I've been scoping this place out for months. It recently opened and man what a find!! Used to come to the same spot when it was House of Kabob. This gem is a find. They know what they are doing. The food is top notch quality. Hummus, the meats, coffee all great stuff!! The service is excellent. Kind owners. Newly renovated space... everything is clean and neat! Will definitely be back for more. Great spot to get your Middle Eastern cuisine. You will not be disappointed!!

TLDR: There are much better Mediterranean food spots along Westheimer and Richmond with better service. We ate here tonight (1/2/24) because we saw them featured on a Houston foodie Instagram post thinking it was going to be good. It was completely empty, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. Walked in, it looked clean enough, but no greeting. I had to ask if we just sit down, and the person at the register said yes. We'd never been here before. They gave us menus, and when we were ready to order, we let them know. The person at the register said we're supposed to order at the counter. Okay.We order the food, wait, and when it was ready, we were told it was ready to pick up at the counter. Oookay. I think to myself, "It's a self serve restaurant, I guess. Don't know why I had to tip, but okay." We eat, and a an older Arab man and his daughter (could be his wife, not sure) walk in to order. They offer this man and lady some coffee. This was advertised on the Instagram as complimentary. We were not offered coffee when we came in nor for the duration of our time there. I thought that was weird but brushed it off. Some time passes until their food was ready, and we were finishing up. I want to emphasize that they served them their food at their table while we had to pick ours up from the counter. We're a diverse group, and I feel like that attributed to the mediocre service. My friend asked for a to go box, and the man at the counter just pointed to the to go boxes above the counter instead of giving her one. My boyfriend bussed our own table. Why do I have to leave a tip if we had to do all the service work with people who were actively sitting around instead of waiting tables? It was only us and the couple in this restaurant. I've frequented many Mediterranean restaurants with better, friendlier service and do not mind tipping there. I've worked in customer facing jobs before and know that customer service makes the restaurant. I've been here once to try it, but I will not be back.

Terrible food. I didn't even finish it. I will say, the guy behind the counter (owner?) was very nice and accommodating.

Ordered combo spicy shawarma and it hit the spot! Full of flavor, took about 10-15 for order completion but very satisfied with the serving. Gentleman who took my order helped me decide what to order and he suggested no 3. Came in just before the lunch rush, interior was clean and quiet. Will definitely return

Don't waste your money here. $10 for this... The taste was so strange too, I could not finish it and I am not a picky eater. You could get a tastier shawarma elsewhere.

The shawarma is good but their garlic sauce tastes horrible. Idk what kind of garlic sauce they use but it's literally the worst garlic sauce Ive ever had and it ruins the entire meal. You can't have good chicken shawarma with garlic sauce. Abu Omar, Al Mankal grill, Shawarma king, Phoenicia, literally every other place in Houston has better garlic sauce. They need to seriously fix their garlic sauce cause it tastes like flavorless mayo. The service is good and the restaurant itself is clean and spacious.
