I used Shawarma Falafel to cater an office event for about 30 people. The food arrived on time, and was in very organized bags. Apparently it has been 5 years since I last visited Shawarma Falafel, and not much has changed. Today I ordered the Vegetable Platter, which was a generous portion of falafel and rice, with two sides. I chose the hummus harr and tabouli. The rice was really, really bland, and desperately needed some chicken stock or loads of tahini or something to add some interest. The hummus was great...thick and spicy, but there wasn't enough given the large amount of falafel.The pickled vegetables add some needed acid - make sure to request these as they are not "included." Food is served with care, though not with much urgency. That's a trade-off I'll gladly take 99% of the time.

Based solely on the felafel wrap, this was quite good but not as good as the reigning champions of Boston felafel, the Felafel King. Props to shawarma for adding mint and radish to their sandwich, however it didn't have the it factor.

Worst service and worst falafel wrap I ever had.Restaurant owner talked down on me for placing order using GrubHub instead of ordering directly and made worse possible falafel wrap.

Still one of my favorite shawarma places in the city. The last time I thought the wrap was too dry, but that was an easy fix by asking them to put extra sauce- which they did- and it was delicious! Just chicken, fries and pickles- just the way it should be! Docking one star as we went there around 5:30 and though we were able to get a sandwich they ran out of meet right after even though they are open until 9pm. I think we got lucky but had we gotten there a little later we would've been quite disappointed. This place is so good; they need to scale production accordingly.

Food was terrific and delicious. There was a little bit of a wait since there were only 2 people working. The man who helped us was very nice. We had the beef platter with rice, falafel and hummus. It was so freakin good! We also had the chicken shawarma with fries and that was also outstanding. First time having Lebanese food and we were totally impressed. A worthy 4.5 star rating!

We came an hour before closing and even though the food came out fast - it was barely warm and definitely stale- don't know why they would do that maybe they don't care about their reputation. Very disappointing visit. The bread and rice in platter was hard/stale, there was disproportionately small amount of meat compared to rice, wrap was mid, the only OK part were French fries lol (and even they weren't hot like you would expect from a fresh batch) If they were in a hurry to close - then why accept customers if they weren't willing to make a new order - JUST GO TO Ajeen in Allston.
