My family is Armenian so we know what a good kebab or gyro tastes like. Shawarma factory is not only quick, delicious and priced well. But they have so many veggie options and everyone that works there is so sweet. My Arabic friends and I love to come here because we are ADDICTED to the sauce they put for all their foods. We loved this place so much, we took my brothers grad photos here and catered their food at his party.

Ate here twice during our 4 day Labor Day vacation if that tells you anything about how much we loved it! If you are in need of a solid late-night bite, this is the place to go. It is near the ASU campus so finding parking make take a few minutes, but we were able to find street parking pretty quickly on the weekend. Make sure to come with some patience because good things take time, and it seemed like everything was made to the order. Service was friendly. We ordered the falafel wrap with fries both times, and it took about 20 minutes to get the food after ordering. They have a great selection of beverages including an international soda that was so refreshing; it was a lemon-mint carbonated drink that comes in a glass bottle - 5 stars for that drink alone. I will admit that the second time we ordered to go, the food was not as on point as the first time, but I'd still return if I was in the mood for falafel.

I'm leaving my review primarily based on food safety concerns. The establishment had very young people working who were bare handing tomatoes and lettuce. One of the employees handled raw beef then went to hand cooked foods without washing hands. I found the food to be extremely over- spiced and the establishment to be dirty overall.

Restaurant is in a prime spot in Tempe, catering mainly to ASU and neighboring area. We ordered chicken and beef sajji sandwiches which come with fries. My husband brought the food home for dinner. Food was definitely fresh. It was still hot by the time my husband got home. Flavor wise however, it was not our favorite. There was a very strong and strange flavor in both the beef and chicken shawarma; a flavor we were definitely unable to identify, and something that in our opinion, did not go well with the shawarma. The "sajj" bread was basically tortilla that was somewhat soggy by the time it got home. Again, not what we were expecting. Fries were ok and the Chicken was better than the beef. Price is ok for the portion size.

We drove all the way from northwest Peoria to try this place! Believe me, this is authentic as it gets! The beef was so tender, juicy and fresh. The exotic flavors of the East... cinnamon, cloves, allspice, cumin, and that secret "unidentifiable" spice... cardamom, was the signature spice that sets this Shawarma apart from all others in the valley. This beautiful family was from Syria . I love authentic, small family businesses. These are the places where you find the most amazing family recipes. To the young lady at the register, thank you for your kindness and welcoming us to your family restaurant with your beautiful smile. To the gentleman who made us the delicious wraps, thank you and many blessings to you and your business. . I know how hard it is to dedicate your life to a family business. Anytime we are in the area, we will be visiting for more delicious food! Worth the drive!!

I have looked you guys up so many times, and I have wanted to come eat there. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I never will. Your driver was behind my car for a few miles and followed so closely and aggressively he almost hit my car and I just think that is indicative of the type of people running the business, so I will never come here. Make sure your drivers aren't JERKS if you're going to plaster the sticker all over the car.

Really grossed out when I saw a young lady in the back filling the little cups of their sauce, then sticking her finger in one of the cups and lick her finger shortly thereafter. We had already ordered our food. I had to tell all of our group to not use the pink sauce because we would have no idea if that was the cup.

This hidden culinary gem in Tempe is my go-to spot during the weekend for delicious and satisfying shawarma. I've had the chance to try a variety of options on their menu but the chicken shawarma combo and the chicken shawarma fries are my favorites without a doubt.The chicken shawarma is perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The combo comes with fries and a drink. The fries are honestly one of the best I've ever had. They are crinkly, crispy, and well-cooked and have seasoning on them which adds a hint of the Middle-Eastern/Asian palette to the flavor of the fries. The drink can either be regular refillable fountain drinks or a bottle of one of the various drinks they offer from different cultures. The chicken shawarma fries are my personal favorite. The portion is very much worth the price. It comes in a well-mixed platter of chicken, fries, and garlic sauce which fills you up more than you'd expect and leaves you craving more.In general, the portion sizes are generous and will leave you both satisfied and looking forward to your next visit.The staff at Shawarma Factory are not only friendly but also genuinely passionate about their food.
