This is a local diner spot. Inside is reminiscent of IHOP or Denny's. Don't come in here expecting fine dining. But if you come in expecting simple home cooking, you may like it. I don't know how you can make eggs, potatoes, and bacon taste amazing, but they did. It was FANTASTIC! The hash browns were so so crunchy, and not over oiled. The omelet was fluffy, not the rubbery overcooked thing you usually get at diners. I liked that they sliced their onions in strips, rather than diced, so there was good opinion flavor and texture element. The bacon was ON POINT! So smokey. So crispy. I mean I ate every little crumb off of that plate. The service was amazing too. The woman working was clearly overworked. It was pouring rain, and the windows were leaking, and she had to deal with that, and a back up in the kitchen. But she kept everyone in the loop. Literally RAN to get something we asked for (she didn't have to!) and had THE best attitude! Yes, it wasn't fast, but we weren't in a hurry on a lazy weekend breakfast. Overall 5 stars for the food and service. Give this place a try.

This is my first time eating at a Shari's and I was disappointed in my overall food experience. The coffee was watery, and my food came to me with burnt toast and bacon. I was a bit surprised that the waitress didn't send my food back for me before she put it on the table. The toast was clearly burnt and the bacon ends were burnt as well. The prices cheap, but I would rather have quality food and pay a bit more. On top of that, they have a "Needs to improve" rating from their recent inspection. I didn't realize that was the case until I walked out of the restaurant. I've never eaten at a restaurant that had such a low food rating review.Won't be back!

I went here on a weekday right before my flight back to Los Angeles. I wasn't expecting anything fancy. I just wanted to fill up before my flight. I went early in the morning, service was fairly slow and I was disappointed they were out of bacon. I ordered something simple - loaded hash browns and a cup of cocoa. The loaded hash browns were pretty filling for a side. The cocoa was pretty delicious. The vibe is simple vintage, it was generally clean but it's pretty standard for a dine in breakfast place like this. Otherwise it's pretty basic, would recommend if you're not too much in a hurry.

Sixteen dollars for a plate of three tiny chicken fingers and some soggy brown french fries. Absolutely awful pricing for extremely mediocre food with tiny portions. You can't even pick a dipping sauce with the online ordering feature - I had to call to ask for honey mustard. But the worst offense is what passes for a Shari's pie at this place. We used to get whole pies here, but no more. $17 for a "banana cream pie", but it's just banana pudding with some brown banana slices and stale nuts. Look at the picture to see how it separated less than 24 hours after we got it.Utterly disgusting. Do not waste your money.

This was a lucky find in Kirkland, Washington. The restaurant was located opposite the hotel that I was staying in. Research revealed that this was a chain and was very well known for its pies. Since I am a devotee of pies, I had to make the short trek. There is a caveat to my pie story. I prefer only fruit pies. Most places that have these pies stuff them with a fruit paste of jam consistency. I like those that also have the full fruit in them to enhance the texture and take you to another level. That is exactly what happened here and more. All of Shari's pies on the menu have won blue ribbon awards at national pie championships. Overall, she has won over 47 of these contests. The restaurant had two fruit pies on the menu and I attacked them both over 3 days. The Oregon Marionberry (official pie of the state of Oregon) and the Sweet Montana Cherry pie. Both were freshly baked, had great taste, with real fruit, flavor and was the stuff of what pie memories are made of. Service was high class (I went there three times). Shari's also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the breakfast burrito on one day (see below). Thank you, Shari's, I will be coming back on my next Seattle visit to see you again.

My BFF and I showed up at 10 pm to order dinner. There was only one other table occupied when we got there. Folks working were friendly and cooked up great food.

Oh gosh, love Shari's. Let's get the greyed-out missing star out of the way first, though. Why four stars, not five? The physical location is getting a bit on the shabby side. No, there's nothing unpalatable about it; you'll still enjoy your meal. But we've noticed that the grass out front doesn't get cut, and the restaurant still has the same 1990s or early 2000s decor. It has the feel of a place on its way out. But again, it's kept clean, and the place is cheerful.Shari's is good, old-fashioned comfort food. You'll get a big spread of eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, or whatever you want, delivered quickly. You can drink as much coffee as you ever want. The chefs in the back do a great job of preparing the food, and the servers are friendly.Hoping to see Shari's continue. Stop on by.

The attendant is very friendly but the quality of service suck. I ordered several times through UberEats&Google partnership, seems every single time someone messed with my food. First time the egg was not over medium when it supposed to be, second time the egg and white toast were missing, they even forgot putting utensils in the bag. Sharis is slow dying in our area. Very disappointed, won't order again.

Food came out in a reasonable amount of time, but I will say I asked for eggs over easy and they were pretty well done. No big deal, but not exactly what I asked for. Also in general the portions were a little smaller than I expected and a bit greasier than I thought it would be. The service was excellent though - the waitstaff is very friendly and attentive! Generally I would say this was an average diner experience - not exceptionally bad and not exceptionally good. Pretty middle of the road, but if that's what you're looking for then you will be satisfied.

the workers shout instead of walking to you and greeting you and also i got a chicken tender basket and there was hair in it. But other than that the worker who served us was nice. and she took care of it as soon as we told her.
