Shanghai Club

We did takeout, couple of entrees and an app. The food was delicious and portions are huge. We ordered online and food was ready in 15-20 minutes. Hostess was courteous and everything was packaged perfectly. Having just moved into Anthem, I bet natives and locals underappreciate this place. For where it is and what it is, Shanghai is a gem for quick and tasty takeout. Based on my first and only experience, I'm definitely ordering again!

We stumbled into this Chinese spot in Arizona, expecting the usual local joint, but boy, were we wrong! The staff welcomed us like old friends, and the place had a fun, cozy vibe. Now, onto the food--the real star here! Spicy Chicken was a flavor explosion, and the Beef with Broccoli was melt-in-your-mouth good. The Chicken was so crispy, it could've had its own theme song, and the Shrimp? Let's just say it had us doing a happy dance. They even had tasty veggie options! Plus, the drinks were a fancy touch. Not going back. We have been here before and always thought it was good enough - tonight was way different. We placed an order for pick up and when I got home realized we had the wrong order except one item that we had already started eating. When I called them they hung up on my 3 times! When I got thru finally they asked me to bring the wrong food order back! We had already opened it and eaten out of one of the packages- I asked what they were planning to do with the food and told them they could NOT serve it to the customer as it was contaminated- they still asked us to bring it back! Then they refused any type of discount for giving us the wrong order...and the food was cold when we got it home. What a mess!

Everything we've ever had here has been great. I tried the Honey Chicken this time and was disappointed by the complete lack of spice, but nonetheless it was tasty.

Good food and service. Be prepared: portions are huge. Next time, my wife and I will share.

Met a family member for lunch here as it's far from where I live. We shared the baby back ribs for an appetizer and they were delicious.. Not your traditional Chinese style ribs but high end quality, and the sauce was very tasty. Black pepper beef was a delicious choice for my lunch and it came with choice of soup. Another plus.. they have a full bar with seating so if your alone you can eat at the bar..

I came in here awhile back and got their beef and broccoli and immediately after eating my dinner my stomach was absolutely ruined. I had food poisoning for an entire month. Went to the doctor roughly 3 times trying to figure out what the hell I picked up from this place. If you're thinking about eating here, I absolutely wouldn't. You might get lucky, you might not.

Got take out and all was fabulous especially the beef and broccoli. Shared several appetizers and pork fried rice was wonderful!

I tried something new for the first time in a long time! I LOVED the teriyaki chicken with white rice. I usually do not tend to like ethnic food and stepping out of my comfort zone was a little hard but totally worth it! I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again! It was affordable and tasty!
