We ordered to go and it was delicious! We had the butter chicken, shahi korma, samosas, and the naan. Everything was ready pretty quickly and tasted great! We will definitely order there again.

This place is good! I normally venture to Northgate to Saffron Grill. I'd say this place is a bit better and a few bucks cheaper. I was underwhelmed by THE LOOK of the samosas, but the flavor was great (we got veggie)! My partner got karai paneer and really enjoyed it. I got the karai curry with chicken and it was so good!!! We both got "hot" level of spiciness and it wasn't quite enough for me (I'm a habanero/ghost pepper/thai chili kinda guy), the the flavor was still good with some zip. AND THE NAAN!!! It's some of the best naan I've had, seriously. The ooooooonly thing was the service. It was fine. We were the first customers for dinner so it seemed he was warming up for his shift. It took a little while to refill our water. I'm not critical enough to ding this place for that though. My only critique I hope they read here, is there is a very loud chiming sound, seemingly when they get an app order (like door dash or Uber eats). It's very loud and it makes the music cut out. The first time it went off it lasted probably a full 1-2 minutes. That almost loses a star, but I think at this point their take out business is greater than dine-in, so for a new business, I get it. Try this place!!!

While the server was clearly new and being trained, the food was outstanding and the owner who stopped by clearly has a passion for cooking. Tried some dishes that were what I think of staples of a good Indian restaurant and wasn't disappointed. The chai tea was also made in house and very good. I'm sure they will get the service element down, and the food is worth it. Nothing better than good Indian cuisine for exceptional flavors. I will be returning...soon!

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Every single time I've been here I have had a fantastic experience with the food, service, and pricing. The naan is ALWAYS fresh, light, and fluffy and the meats are always cooked to perfection. The paneer is perfectly done. You get quite the bang for your buck, as well. I'm slowly making my way through their menu and haven't found any dish I don't absolutely love. It is rare for me to have anything leftover to take home!

When I first saw the signs that Mountlake Terrace was getting an "Indo-Pak Mediterranean" restaurant, I was super excited. Shahi Tandoor & Grill is located in the same parking lot as Diamond Knot, Double D Meats, and the post office. Several weeks later, we happily tried Shahi Tandoor & Grill for the first time.I was surprised to see that this restaurant was not on Yelp yet. Maybe that's why the restaurant is mostly quiet when we've gone inside to pick up food. The front doors are festooned with strings of marigolds and the event venue next door looked ready to receive large parties, but I've rarely seen a crowd. I hope this changes over time because the food really is delicious. Highlights: palak paneer (my first love), butter chicken, Shahi korma, and the absolutely mouth watering Baigan Bhartha (eggplant, baked over an open flame, mashed and seasoned with herbs, sautéed onions, green beans, and tomatoes).Needs improvement: one night we ordered the kheer and only received 1/3 of the container. For $7.99 it was a devastating disappointment. Pakoras this last time were a little stale. Overall, I'm so happy this place is close to home as I embark on a more plant-centered diet in 2024. I hope they iron out the kinks, and I hope they can keep the doors open.
