unfortunately we will not be coming back.We drove far to go here and we sat down no one acknowledged us and we had to go to the server to ask for menus. He told us to sit down and someone will be with us.We waited 20 minutes until the server noticed us, the food took another 20 minutes. It wasn't busy at all and while the server was nice, not being acknowledged after reaching out is a deal breaker for me.The food was good, but the service could use work. I am sorry to give this review..

Every Beach Town has to have a Surf Theme Bar right, it's the rule! Well these guys are Killin'It!Look at photos-the spot is Uber Cool and super cozy! Patio seating,open fire pit, pool tables and great drink and happy hour specials! Kayla + Morgan= best service award! We visited a couple times while we stayed in La Jolla. Food yeah it was fricken fantastic! I ordered the Burger of the Month and I can't get it outta my head! Green Chili and Cheeses all melted over an Angus Burger and oh boy it was Delicious! Not sure how else I can portray it... just make sure you don't miss this Great Bar!

Service... sucked! I had an appalling and disgraceful experience with your bartenders. One particular server #125 name Nic deeply offended me verbally abusing me and very disrespectful in handling what was her own idea of what was a problem, to which was in her head. I was accosted for speaking to customers that were at the bar sitting down next to me. Those customers embarked on a song together with me and I was sharing an experience with them. This bartender told me to stop talking because my voice was loud. As you know the music box in there is very loud so in order to talk one must be loud if they have a soft voice like I do. Prior to this happening I asked when is Karaoke, she replied "I don't want to talk to any customers, let alone listen to them sing." What I'm more so angry about is her grabbing my arm to push me to the door which I didn't get on video. Now it probably got cut off because Yelp only allows 20MB files is when she tells me to go Fuck Myself, and get the Fuck out of her bar. I didn't even raise my voice back at her. Then her side kick bartender which I don't know her name came at me aggressively. Whipped her hand up fast which I thought she was going to hit me. I said I'm out of here. I tried to finish the last of my beer and they both yelled at me to put it down and get the fuck out. Nasty people work here. I am boycotting this bar. Who's with me?

**TOURIST BAE-CATION REVIEW**Drinks -4/5 Service - 5/5Ambiance - 5/5Overall - We were like the 1st customers as we were getting acclimated with the neighborhood. 1 pool table so I imagine there is a wait at night. Please respect their rules as they will charge your for placing your dink on the pool table. Drinks were hitting so the female bartender long black hair was legit. no sub par drinks. Music was well ranged and we had a great time. Spacious outdoor seating as well and seems like a "clean dive bar"HAPPY DRINKING!!!

Hey y'all know I love love love dive bars ..overall.. just don't be an outsider. Haters local just stop. You know I'm right. Weird... female bartender curly hair cut me off... I'm female presenting alone... discrimination. ... cut me off ok. .... after one Jameson and a Miller lite .... Meanwhile literally three males ordered shots/drinks to my left. Amd a young white collar shirt orders way more. Anyhooooo Oh and I love pool. Didn't play. I'm not bad but didn't play. Two pool tables, at least one seriously is wanting to bet big. I've never seen a local that plays soooo bad. Seriously. I could make three of those shots

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Posted a review a while back but it got deleted which I noticed after clicking on my old notification. I don't have the time to write a long review again, but I am just so surprised this place is still in business.Unprofessional management (as you can tell by the way they reply to 3 or less star reviews). Disrespectful servers. I was harassed by the staff for not ordering a drink even though I wasn't approached and asked to be helped. The manager asked us to leave after assuming we hadn't purchased anything while playing at the pool table. We showed her our receipts and still she continues to be defensive. No apologies no respect. Trash people would support this business. And yes, this is my shortened review of my experience.

Serving size more than adequate. Can get quite noisy inside but there is ample outside seating. Food quality decent. Fries were great, pulled pork fair. Service mediocre. More suitable for a younger crowd.

The portions were insane. It could easily be two meals! The food was great & the bar staff were good at night time. Definitely hit this spot up.
