The only place for good hand shaven noodles now that Nan Zhou is gone! There's a young man who works here who is always so friendly and helpful. I had cumin lamb noodles and dry-fried string beans. The noodles are so good! Next time I'll ask for spicier and try some of the other noodle options. Plenty of parking and easy to grab takeout or get a table.

I almost always opt for Mexican food...but not this night. We were hungry...we had options...then my best friend said "there's a pretty good Chinese place up here, let's do that." I was initially against it,...I wanted a burrito, but I gave in. This is a sit and order at your table place. We were greeted quickly with a smile. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Lots of seating inside and everything looked clean and inviting. The plates are definitely shareable, but we figured that out after ordering. I got the Biang Biang Noodles with Pork and it was really good! Nice and spicy with thick slices of jalapeño. My friends ordered other entrees that I tasted and liked them. They also ordered the Fish Pot...heads up, that is a HUGE! But wow, it was good. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'll come back....I need to try more here.

Such a gem, and I hope they move to the west valley so that I can come here all the time. Biangbiang is just such a unique texture and flavor, and a lot of their specialties here are things that you just can't find elsewhere.

Overall 3 entrees and 2 veggies. Total $100 for 2 people's 2 meals - $25/person/meal = decent pricing. Oil seared noodle with cumin lamb+ well cooked noodles+ tasty flavor of the sauce - not too flavorful, oily, or salty, makes you want to come back and eat the whole dish+ lamb is not gamey + nice bean sprout, potato, tofuDry pot chicken+/- nice flavor on chicken and is crispy, though a good amount of breading vs actual chicken+ a little numbing spice + spicy spice + potato slices are creamy flavor, nice lotus and onionMapo tofu+ good amount of other veggies like cabbage, broccoli, bok choyA choy, requested less salty & oily + goodMixing cucumber+ nice citrus/sour to balance out all the other flavors+/- a touch salty but overall tasty

First time eating here in person! Pretty busy on a Saturday night walking in at 6pm. Spacious restaurant with a lot of large tables for bigger parties. There was live classical Chinese music playing as well which is pretty cool! The food here is pretty good and we would return for it. We ordered the water boiled fish which is a HUGE portion and too big for 2 so we had plenty of leftovers lol. Be careful, it's spicy. The biang biang noodles with pork and noodles with cumin lamb were delicious. My only gripe is that they're a bit understaffed. The wait times in between ordering weren't terribly long, but the 2 staff on the floor were quite busy and we had to remind them for bowls of rice to eat with our fish. Sometimes it's hard to get their attention.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem of a restaurant, and the experience left me raving. The homemade noodles, infused with the bold flavors of cumin and Sichuan peppercorns, were an absolute delight. Paired with succulent lamb, they elevated the meal to a level I can only describe as extraordinary. It's a culinary masterpiece that I'm genuinely surprised hasn't garnered a cult following. The Beef Shwan, despite being veggie-packed, was a savory treat, showcasing the chef's skillful preparation. The soup dumplings, though slightly less soupy than I anticipated, were nonetheless delicious and added to the overall excellence of the meal.Beyond the exquisite food, the customer experience was top-notch. The staff was attentive and helpful, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. I find myself eagerly anticipating a return visit solely for those unforgettable cumin-infused, lamb-laden homemade noodles and those tempting soup dumplings. A solid 10/10 - this restaurant is a hidden treasure that deserves every bit of acclaim.

During my recent visit to Shaanxi Chinese Restaurant, I found the Szechuan Beef to be well-spiced, offering a pleasing blend of flavors. The hand-pulled Lamb Cumin Biang Biang Noodles were incredibly flavorful had an interesting numbing sensation from Sichuan peppercorns. While the soup dumplings were delicious, they were a bit less soupy than expected. The service was decently attentive, and the restaurant's spacious layout, including a bar area, provided a comfortable setting. The background music, featuring a mix of modern pop songs, added a nice touch. Overall, Shaanxi Chinese Restaurant offers a satisfactory dining experience with some enjoyable dishes.

The food here is very good, and I'm happy with the portion sizes, even though I think it can be a bit pricey. Staff is friendly, and they can adjust the level of spice for you too if you ask. The restaurant sometimes will have live music where a woman will play a traditional Chinese instrument called a Guzheng, which is pretty cool to listen to while you eat. I like the Biang biang noodles, the cold mixed cucumber dish, and the sliced potatoes dish. Do note that while this place does offer American-style Chinese food, they are more known for their more traditional Chinese dishes and that's what I recommend you order if you visit. Parking is super easy here too.
