Seven Seas Roasting

After a long day on the beach, we needed a little pick me up and came to Seven Seas. First time stopping in, and we are so glad we did!The shop itself is smaller but in a really great area. There are a few tables outside to sit at or wait for your order. Not a large menu, but great options. They also have specialty seasonal drinks, too! Highly recommend the Iced Dirty Chai. It's incredible!! Honestly, it's one of the best I've had. It was recommended by the barista, and she was spot on. Also, great prices compared to other places around.Definitely stop in to Seven Seas if you're in area, you won't be disappointed!

Traveled from the East Coast to West Coast to find and indulge in yummy unique flavorful coffee drinks. This was our first stop and it did NOT disappoint. This little shop was hopping with customers. They offer cozy seating outside for you to simply sit and sip your drinks while catching up with friends or family, to people watch, to meet new people (yes, we chatted with fellow coffee lovers) or to sit silently on your electronic device. The baristas were super helpful and friendly. They genuinely expressed interest in our inquiries about the area (since we were not locals) and happily answered our questions about the different drinks. There are a variety of different coffee offerings with limited matcha & chai options. If in the area again, I'd definitely go back. Our drinks were so deliciously cool and refreshing.

It's a great day today! It may be hot but there's lots of shade here near Seven Seas Roasting. Therefore it's quite relaxing and the people that stop by here are the sweetest. There's this hair studio right next to the coffee place and they have this massive tree that provides shade to both areas. This is a very dog friendly place. I ordered an iced honey lavender latte with whole milk. It came out under a reasonable time and the quality is great. The people behind me ordered americanos and that is pretty quick to make so they got their drink before me. They just got a new mural painted on the wall of the building and I love it because it makes it more their space!-- and less of a space that they are just occupying. The people that sat next to me in front of the hair studio building were enjoying and devouring a breakfast pudding. It may have been chia seed or oats? Overall, it looked pretty good and fulfilling which would be great fuel for a walk! Come by and have some coffee, a refreshing drink, or some food.

We were walking around Solana Beach with our dog and just happened to stumble upon this cute and small coffee spot for our afternoon caffeine fix. The honey lavender latte and chai latte were so good! We were pleasantly surprised to find that they have soy milk as an option. I know oat and almond milk are pretty popular alternatives, but I don't feel like many coffee shops nowadays offer soy. Our drinks didn't taste watered down and had a really strong espresso flavor, which we liked. Also loved that the area here is super walkable and has a ton of stores nearby to look around while you're walking. Definitely will come back again!

GREAT coffee stop between shops and restaurants. I ordered an iced vanilla latte on this hot day & it was perfectly made plus very fast. Cute, modern and clean coffee place

This coffee shop is tiny; I walked right by it. But, wow, what coffee! I had an iced cinnamon honey latte. It was ready in no time, and absolutely delicious. I requested less sweetness, and the barista did a great job honoring that request. Seven Seas definitely sets itself apart.

Seven Seas is located on what I refer to as coffee row. When looking up coffee places in Solana Beach, I noticed there were a good number of java spots in a concentrated area but loved the review for Seven Seas. I stopped here early morning two different days, the first day I went with the Triple Coconut despite typically doing black, boring coffee in the morning. I'm a sucker for all thing coconut and it was pure bliss. The next day I stopped by for an Americano and it was the best Americano I've had in awhile. Smooth, robust and just what the doctor ordered. I wish I was hungry when I went because I was intrigued by the Korean bbq breakfast burrito, we will have to save that for the next time I'm in the area! Bonus points for friendly and helpful staff both times I went!

This is the first time I have been here. It's a great place to stop for coffee on the fly. No seating inside but outside there are a few tables. The surrounding area is pretty. My coffee was very smooth. No bitter expresso here. The gentleman that helped us was super friendly. I will be back.

Came here with some friends for an afternoon break. It's tucked away on this cute little strip in Solana Beach that I never noticed was there before, so glad I found this little spot there!Parking wasn't too hard. It's just a bunch of street parking but we were able to find a spot on the little strip right away only a few minutes walk from Seven Seas.Their drinks are really good, and they gave good recommendations on what I can add to my London Fog Latte to make it sweeter. The baristas were so nice!

We saw this coffee and ice cream shop as we were walking around Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach and we decided to check it out.....it had a nice and open layout and the curb appeal, was very inviting. Inside we got to talk to the lady behind the counter and she gave us a nice history of the brand, which has several locations around San Diego and this one in Solana Beach had only been open since the summer of 2023.She mentioned to us that the American coffee revolution has been dark and bitter-strong. But Seven Seas Roasting Company decided instead to focus on the flavors of Southeast Asian coffee....lighter...... In 2017, Seven Seas became the first American company to import specialty coffees from Laos.The coffee shop offers medium and dark roasts but they really focus on exposing people to the lighter varietals.I am not a coffee drinker, but my husband and friends are. I focused my attention on their interesting ice cream flavor varieties like Chai and some of their specialty chocolate ones.
