I came here due to the ratings while visiting Georgia, I must say I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered dry rice and fish (red snapper) and okra sauce. The dry rice and fish it's self was not flavorful at all! The fish was extremely dry and tasted old. The sauce on top helped add some flavor , the spicy pepper sauce was extremely good wish I had more of that. I also ordered okra sauce as well, that had smoked turkey ,chicken and fish. The smoked turkey meat they used was VERY overwhelming and I could not eat any of it. I was super disappointed because okra sauce is my favorite thing to eat when eating African food. The lady that took my order was really nice, and inside of the restaurant seemed like a cool spot to have drinks and eat inside.

This was my 1st time tasting Liberian food. The food is very flavorful. I'm not too familiar with African food so I don't have much to compare, but the food was well prepared, and tasted really good. I ordered the grilled wings and it wasn't salty. The spice they give with the wings is SPICY (I should have asked for more)!!! The fried plantains are sweet plantains and it taste like they add sugar to it (I didn't like that very much). I LOVED the cassava leaves (I wished I had some of that spicy sauce to add to it). I didn't like the rice, but that's more of my personal preferences (it was just plain white rice, but it was the big thick rice. I like Jasmine Rice or madam gougousse). I would be open to trying something new on the menu or returning back here !

Yesterday was my moms birthday. We asked her where she would like to go and she said that she didn't want anything more than pepper soup (African food). So I've been to so many places and at that time my usual spots were not open until after 12 so I fell upon this place. Parking: Beware! Parking is very limited. In fact, I don't even think the people are parking for that location. I didn't have to wait long but the park is slim to none :) Location: Its in a shopping plaza with other like restaurants and stores so really easy to get to. Appearance: Really nice inside pics led me to this location. It's decorated nicely and the outside is clearly identifiable as SL. Staff: I was warmly greeted when we arrived and the staff especially Winnie were so awesome! Felt as if they were family. Winnie took a good time explaining their menu for the day and then al of the products listed. Really appreciated that. Atmosphere: just like I like it. My mom enjoyed herself - Africa/soca music playing in the background. Food: They offered her a glass of champagne or wine of her choice as a toast for her birthday. The food flavor was exceptional! This was a really good impression as I typically only eat Nigerian and Ghanaian food but this Liberian food was really good. The only thing that I must mention. Their vegan options are limited. They do not make pepper soup with fish so be aware if you don't eat red meat or chicken. They did invite us to their event that evening and again very fun staff. Will definitely go back.

Amazing food.....perfectly seasoned, not a lot of oil in the torborgee. She also has smaller plate options for those who don't eat big meal portions. I went in there out of curiosity but left feeling so proud of the brand she is building!

Glad to have stumbled upon this gem! Generous portions and full of flavor. The restaurant space is beautiful and staff are friendly - rare for African restaurants in my experience. I'd definitely come back here next time I'm visiting the area!

This was my first time eating Liberian food and boy was it a treat . I've had food from other countries in Africa, and if you know like I know the long standing battle of who has the BEST Jollof rice is still going on . I personally think all of them have a pretty good rice, but what do I know, I'm just Black American . But anywho, I had a hefty sampling of jollof rice, and order of dry rice and chicken. The jollof rice was delicious but let's get into this dry rice. WOW, WOW, WOW!!! The rice was a mix of okra (invisible) but you can taste it and see specks if it in the rice. It had a tomato pepper sauce on top that you mix in with the rice and it was good. The meal came with a pepper sauce on the side, similar to hot sauce, that was hot and spicy but added depths of flavor to what ever you put it on. I mixed it with the rice and it added another level of flavor to it. *I'm telling y'all have to try this food*The chicken was fried non- breaded and it was good. The skin was seasoned well. Reminded me a little of the fried chicken you may receive at a Spanish restaurant. All in all, I will be back and bring others along. Ohhhhhh!!! I forgot to mention the hospitality, it's on 10. The 2 young ladies, I believe they are the owners are remarkable. It being my first time, they were patient, answered all my questions and were very friendly. One pro tip I saw from many of the customers, call ahead for your food whether your dine in or takeout. The food will be ready upon arrival .
