Food was quickly made, fresh and tasty. From the seafood pancake to japchae to the dol sot, everything was delicious. They were very accommodating to our 1.5 year old. Parking was easy and right outdoor.

I quite literally love every dish here and it's so exciting now that it's summer and I can have their summer served only naengmyun! It's a super chewy root starch noodle dish, served cold with beef brisket, assorted vegetables, boiled egg, and either a cold beef broth or spicy sauceThe kalbitang is a hearty beef broth soup with premium short ribs and vermicelli noodles served with a bowl of rice on the side. It was really enjoyable switching between eating the cold noodles and hot comforting soup! Make sure to visit here if you're craving classic korean dishes!

Reasonably priced family restaurant with delicious food and solid portion sizes. We went as a group of five on a Friday at around 8:15pm and had a 10-20 minute wait to get seated.I got the kalbitang, which had a good amount of beef ribs, white radish, and noodles in the warm, hearty stew.We also got the bossam and kimchi pancake to share. The bossam came with a good amount of pork belly, sauces, and delicious radish kimchi to go with it.The kimchi pancake was doughy and chewy, but I couldn't tell the difference between it and a regular seafood pancake. The only unfortunate part of our visit was that their grill was closed by the time that we got there, even though we had called ahead to hear that it didn't close until 8:30pm. A bunch of items were also sold out, though we were luckily still able to find non-beef dishes for a member of our party that doesn't eat beef. Overall, I would come back for the bossam and fresh kimchi. Perhaps earlier next time to get to try some of their grill dishes.

I like the vibe of this place - clean, warm lights, peaceful and not overly noisy.Unlike the other Korean places in Allston, this place has fast and attentive service . We sat down and were served with several bonchons The pork belly and beef soup were both very good. Will come back to this place!

I have been on a Korean cold noodle kick. In a heat wave, nothing hits the spot like a big bowl of noodles with chunks of ice floating in the broth. (I should learn how to make this at home.)After scouring Yelp for a place in Boston that serves these cold noodles, I landed on Seoul Soulongtang in Brighton. Be sure to come around 6 even on weekdays or be prepared for a bit of a wait - we came a little after six and nabbed the last table for two; after we finished, we opened the door to find a long line outside. The menu features a bunch of other soups and dishes but I only had eyes for the last page of cold noodles. Broth: light, fragrant, condiments of salt and yellow mustard and vinegar provided. Noodles: nice and springy, they provide a pair of scissors to snip snip into more manageable bites.Standard garnishes of pickled radish, green onions, thinly sliced beef and cucumber, and half a hardboiled egg. Banchan: good selection and they give free refills. They also offer combo meals of noodles + galbi, which may be a good option for two people who aren't super hungry. It gets a little loud inside with people talking and someone manning the massive frying counter but nothing too bad. The service was not exactly friendly but very efficient and our food came out quickly.PARKING: If you do decide to chance the wait-time and come after 6, there's free parking in the lot on Comm Ave across the street, as well as a big parking lot on Harvard Ave behind Cafe Brazil Bakery.

Hands down one of the best Korean comfort food restaurants in Boston. Known for their Soulongtang and I can promise you that it won't disappoint! The service is always fast. You can come in during a 1 hr lunch, order your food and have it at the table in under 8 mins! Super convenient. This restaurant provides a warm and homey atmosphere, with the staff being so friendly and the food being very comforting. I've been here so many times and will be expecting to be back plenty more!

I am a regular at Seoul Soulongtang. As a Korean, I often miss eating korean food that I'm unable to properly cook myself and often turn to this place for that. Their Kalbitang is really good and other things on their menu is solid. Their service is also friendly and the place itself holds many people but also has a line sometimes during peak hours. I would definitely recommend this place to those who want to try Korean food! I would recommend to dine in than takeout because sometimes they don't get the order right or it comes somewhat smaller than it is at the place itself.

I would say this is one of my go to comfort food spots in Allston. My husband and I always crave their naengmyeon in the summer/warmer months, and their soulongtang or kalbitang in the colder months. We love their combos with the meat options -- such a great deal! Fast service and easy casual vibes, which is nice for a quick nice dinner.

We ordered the haemool pajun, soulongtang, and bibimbap. Pajun was solid but the mains were just okay. Banchans were good.

The food was absolutely incredible but I have to thank the staff for being super kind and efficient. I left the restaurant not realizing I lost a bracelet my mother gave to me but as I turned the near corner a staff member came running after us to return it. I was thrown off by how thankful I was so I had to share! Definitely want to go back
