Seoul Corndog & Fried Chicken

Stopped by while at the mall bc my hubs and his little brother (who is visiting from Mexico) never tried Korean potato corn dogs and they were NOT disappointed. We each got the potato combo dog and they were huge. I ate 1/4th of it and I ended up having my hubs finish mine bc I was so full. I recommend getting it rolled in sugar bc that's the KEY. My toppings were sugar, ketchup, buldak mayo, and honey butter. A-1. Chef's kiss. 대박. Heads up tho: Maybe it's bc I'm Korean and I'm used to Korea's spice levels but to me the buldak wasn't spicy. BUT my BIL was sweating haha. I told him not to get it bc he can't eat spicy but he insisted on getting it. The person in charge of the toppings gave him a little bit and he was struggling lol.

First time trying a Korean corn dog and it was pretty good!The wait time was a little long even though there weren't many people ahead of us, and I feel like the spicy corn dog was slightly undercooked; we're definitely only going to get the premium corn dog from now on. The fries weren't bad, pretty crispy and not soggy.Wouldn't mind coming back here if we were in the mall and craving a corn dog, but the Korean corn dog trend is slightly over hyped for us, and not anything too innovative from a typical corn dog.

Came here because my little sister said that her and her friend liked the food here and that it was decently priced because it was a spot inside a food court. I'm glad we got food here because it was really good! What we got:- Regular Size Galbi Boneless: these were really good and the portion size was really generous. The chicken was juicy with the perfect amount of juiciness. If anything, I wish it had a little more of the sauce or some kind of sauce on the side. But regardless, the chicken was really good!- Rose Ddeok-bokki: this was good as well, creamy, with just the right amount of heat. - Potato Mozzarella: I can't judge this one fairly because I'm not a fan of sugar on corn dog, but that's how my sister ordered it lol. She said it was good though.Overall, if I was at Plaza Bonita, I would definitely come back and try the corn dog without sugar and order the chicken. The service was good as well, they were efficient, but there can be a slight wait for your order to come out.

Honestly if I could rate this place solely on their chicken it would be 5/5 stars EASILY! I ordered the fried chicken plate which came with macaroni salad and rice. The chicken was some of the crispiest and juciest chicken I've ever had. They give you some type of sweet brown sauce which added the right amount of flavor to the chicken. The sides were also perfect with the chicke. My reasonings for the 3 star are two things. To start off the employees at the counter weren't really organized and two different lines ended up forming and so I ended up having to go to the back of another line when I thought I was next to order. The wait in line plus the wait for the food took a long time and by the time I got my food my family who got food from other places in the food court had already finished eating. Secondly, I got a potato mozzarella corndog on the side which was kind of disappointing. They give you a wide variety of sauces and seasonings for your corndog to choose from which makes sense because the batter itself is very bland. I wish I would've known this because I only got a sweet chili sauce on mine and it was just okay. Knowing this I would definitely give the corndog another chance and come back just for the chicken alone. This place still has lots of potential and stands out from the rest of the food court restaurants.

We love the potato trio corn dogs, and recently tried the spicy chicken and the tteok bokki everything was delicious! Our cashier is always friendly and everyone there works hard to make the food quick.

Came here on Saturday after last minute shopping. This place looks new to us. We had ordered the Trio corn dog, it has potatoes, 1/2 mozzarella 1/2 sausage and cheddar dipped in a crispy batter. My daughter had the all Mozzarella corn dog. It was buy two get one free, so we got two trio corndogs. We also ordered the special Deeok -bokki consists of fish cake, dumplings, rice cakes, sausages, fried shrimp and mixed cheese. The battered corn dogs were soooo good and the cheese pull was ridiculous. I knew the people around us were looking when we ate and wanted to get some too! Ahahah. It was insane. The cheese ratio was a foodies dream. Now the deeok-bokki was pretty good for food court food. The sauce was a little runny but when we reheat it in the air fryer it turned out very good, great consistency. The rice cakes and everything was perfectly cooked. The staff and cashier were super friendly and gave us extra napkins/utensils. They always had a smile on their face, they were willing to help and answer any questions.

Located at the food court in Plaza Bonita Westfield mall in National City. Review is solely for the corn dog and fries as we did not try the chicken!We ordered:premium sausage corndog - delish! I know they recommend sugar on their corndogs but, I rather have without now that I did get the sugar. Spicy cheddar sauce, spicy ranch sauce, onion garlic powder, and parmesan powder were my choices of condiments and they were a great choice to compliment the corndog.strawberry lemonade slushy - tangy and delicious. potato trio corndog - half cheese and half dog, NOT A FAN!bacon cheddar fries - AMAZING! Super crunchy out and soft inside type of fries. They are not skimpy on the cheese sauce neither. I would skip the bacon though and just have cheese fries. We would definitely order the premium dog minus the sugar next time and definitely the cheese fries and slushy!

The crunch on these corn dogs is next level. I've seen Korean corndog stands in different places, but have never tried one. Today, I decided to try Seoul Corndogs and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the Original corndog and the Rose Ddeok-bokki. The server recommended that I try the corndog rolled in sugar with the spicy mayo which sounded unusual, but I was ready for the full Korean corndog experience! It was SO good! Every bite had a bit of crunch, spice, sweet, and savory! Now I understand the hype. The ddeok-bokki was delicious as well, with the chewy rice cakes and tasty, umami sauce. I can't wait to go back and try more things!

Ordered early in the day when they were opened maybe an hour. There was no line and I was excited to try this.Ordered the #9 Korean corn dog which is half hot dog, half mozzarella and has cheddar wrapped around it as well. The wait for this item seeemed really long about 16 mins. I can't imagine the wait for when there is a line and it's busier.Had 3 sauces over it and one powdered option which came out in a big amount. Took this to go and upon seeing it at home, luckily the powder seemed to melt with the corn dog. This was actually very big m, I could barely eat it all. There's a big thick batter. If you like batter this is for you. Overall, this was good and could be shared with another person. I prefer the shop located in convoy as I like their batter portion better which is thinner than here.Glad to know they have Korean corn dogs down south though!

Food is pretty good, especially for the price. My kids get full off of one corn dog. They love adding the extras. My only con is, they take a long time and if you want chicken they take even longer. The chicken btw is really good. I forgot to take a pic. But definitely try the garlic boneless one. Over all, it's definitely a go to if I'm feeding a bunch of kids. They love it and so do I. It's not the best, but it's definitely convenient having one at the mall. Try them out!
