This was a nice spot on a very warm spring day. It is quite simple to order but there are a lot of choices. You choose your base first, glass noodles, rice, etc them your toppings and sides. A good hearty portion yet not too much. Since it was hot, we ordered a Sprite and a Korean sake to drink with it. They have indoor seating but sitting outside in the Cafe chairs and table was more fun to eat in the great weather and watch people pass by. I highly recommend for a meal before or after hitting the pubs along the same street. The one man show behind the counter also gets this review a star on his own...he was polite attentive helpful and efficient. All by himself and not stressed out or angry at having to serve customers. I was impressed. I give ratings as 1 star inedible/possibly dangerous to eat 2star edible but not good. 3 star good food, price value and decent service 4 star either food or staff make it memorable so I want to return or bring someone else next time. 5 stars is memorable on all areas: food, price-value, service, experience.

To start off, they were out of a lot of things when we arrived and still had an hour and a half left before closing. So it could be possible that we could have had a more delicious experience if there was a wider variety of topics to choose from. We tried the Korean bulgogi bowl and all in all weren't super impressed. They packed plenty of rice and meat at the bottom and covered the top with some toppings: cucumbers, pickled reading, coleslaw, and roasted corn. I would not recommend the corn whatsoever, it was not roasted, it just seemed like it was taken out of a can and dumped on. The pickled radish was delicious! So I would just recommend adding more of that. All in all it was an okay experience, my taste buds were not singing, but my stomach was full.

I'm actually obsessed with Seoul Bowl - their idea of Korean BBQ bowls is quite creative and yields delicious results. I had the pleasure of stumbling across a Seoul Bowl food truck at the Fremont Solstice parade. After the cyclists and parade, my friend and I decided to visit the food truck area for some much needed grub. There were many trucks to choose from but we just had to try Seoul Bowl because it was so obviously popular. I wanted to understand the hype. After waiting in quite a long line, I was finally able to order. I got the bulgogi bowl with the sweet asian salad, cucumber kimchi, radish, roasted corn, and sweet soy sauce. When I tell you this bowl really HIT the spot, I mean it! It was so good that I kept thinking about it days after the parade. The meat was so tender and well-seasoned while the toppings added the right amount of spice, sweetness, and crunch. My only gripe is that this bowl is somewhat overpriced - I paid $17. Although the food is great, I don't think the portion size was worth $17. I've only ever had Seoul Bowl at an event so maybe the price was inflated due to that. I also wish they had more toppings as options to include in the Bowl. I feel like the list they currently have is pretty limited. Regardless, I will be returning eventually - curious to see if that changes anything...

Had the bowl with chicken thighs. The chicken was a bit tough and stringy. For some reason it also just didn't seem very fresh overall. I much prefer the flavors of a standard bibimpop from a regular Korean restaurant.

We finally made it to the South Lake Union Saturday Market! It was a beautiful day and we biked to the market with the hopes to discover a delicious food truck! Our dreams were answered. Right away I saw multiple people in the park and at tables set up by the market that were holding these orange bucket bowls. We walked through the market and ultimately decided this was the truck! When I got up to the window I had thought maybe I'd get the bulgogi bowl but I was leaning toward the spicy pork. Thank goodness it was an easy choice because spicy pork was all that was left. And honestly I didn't try any of the others but I'm not sure I'll want to anymore after that amazing bowl of goodness. The spicy pork was sooo sooo good. Okay so you build your own bowl so step one protein. I got the spicy pork. Step two unlimited choice of toppings. I got the caramelized onion, sweet asian salad, sweet corn (which I thought was a little odd but surprisingly still really yummy), pickled radish, kimchi, and cucumber kimchi. And step three, chose your sauce. He put some sort of sauce on it already that I'm guessing just went with the spicy pork or maybe all of them idk. I think it may have been gochujang but I have no clue. Then he asked what sauce and I said the best one. I think he chose the spicy mayo-ish one because it looked like that in the bowl. Anyway, that was my order.I also can't remember how much it was but I feel like it was a good price. Especially for how much food it was! He really filled that sucker up. When I was checking out I asked him if he had a bandaid and he was so nice and got me one! Oh I also wanted to note he was flying solo in that food truck doing it all himself! At least when we got there. I should of asked for his name but he was a very nice guy. Anyway, to the eating!! What can I say I gave this a 5/5 for a reason! It was soooooo fucking fantastic. It was exactly what I wanted! Noting that if you're looking for a traditional "bibimpap" type bowl or kbbq this isn't it. And honestly in my opinion, it's better! Or at least I'd say it's it's own amazingly delicious entity. I'm all about the twist on it. The sweet corn threw me I've never had that on any Korean type bowl before. But I'm all for it. The meat was tender and juicy and the flavor was soooo good. Also not overly spicy, could go spicier, but for me it was just right. Whatever sauce he used I want that in my fridge. And I loved how it was served and I thought the pickled radishes were amazing they were cut in cute cubs. It all worked for me. I'm gonna dream about this meal for a while. Until, I go again I suppose! On another note their marketing is sneaky smart. They even had branding and a QR code on the wrapping of the chopsticks. So we obviously linked to it and we realized they have a couple brick-and-mortar locations. The extended menu looks sooooooo good. We're stoked to make a trip to that next! Ugh I'm just so excited and happy. I hope this review helps get others dreaming about Seoul Bowl too! Enough that they decide to open another location in Ballard (wink wink). Just saying we would loveeee that. But it would be very dangerous! Anyway 5/5 will 100% be back!

This is definitely a wildly good tasting bowl of Korean food. They Jam Packed it with rice, and all sorts of other sides like corn. The sauces are really strong. The flavors are loud and fun. If your stomach can handle it then it's really yummy. But if you have a sensitive stomach then I wouldn't recommend coming here till you've worked your way up to it. Bulgogi Bowl if I can remember was what I tried.

Cute packaging with tasty classic Korean dishes. They have your classics such as bulgogi bowls and potstickers (which is the basic order that I placed )The food is delicious, you can taste that it's scratch made, and the potstickers came with a slightly sweet glaze that was tasty.A definite recommendation if you find their trucks near you! They can also be found at the visitor center of Microsoft's building 92 every Friday if your not frequent to the seattle area

On the night of October 5th, 2022, a group of thirteen middle-late twenty year olds gathered together to compare six Korean fried chicken restaurants across Seattle. The competitors included BBQ Chicken, Chimac, Bok a Bok, Pelicana, and Chicken Factory. BBQ chicken was favored to win. However, through a blind taste test bracket, Seoul Bowl, reigned supreme. As 80% of us had never even heard of Seoul Bowl, we were shocked, but glad to be able to have a new fried chicken restaurant to order from. Thanks for the amazing chicken and good times! Chicken was flavorful and tender.

I ordered a bowl with spicy pork. Staff was very generous in terms of the volume of each of the sides I added. I couldn't finish the bowl just because it was too much food for me. I also wish there were predefined menu items. This was my first time visiting, I just wanted the best from the restaurant, so any signature combinations would be perfect. But the staff said there wasn't any set recipes. The spicy pork was lukewarm; it would have been better if it was warmer. Flavor wise, it met my expectations - spicy, flavorful, addictive. The inside and outside of the restaurant were both cute. Good for a quick bite or for friends hangout.
