Senoritas Cantina - Dearborn

I recently swung by Señoritas Cantina, ready for a fiesta of flavors, but it seems the kitchen didn't get the memo. I tried the barbacoa quesadilla and nachos, both of which were as exciting as watching paint dry in a beige room. On the bright side, the staff were all smiles and charm, which almost made up for the culinary snoozefest.But then, things got a little sitcom-worthy at the bar. Picture this: the bartender, not feeling her best, decides to season her own drink with a pinch of salt--straight from the rimming station. Talk about a personal touch! Let's just say it added a whole new layer of 'mixed drinks' to my understanding.While the visit had its moments, between the bland eats and the bar hygiene adventures, I might need to be a tad braver to venture back to Señoritas Cantina.

I had lunch here today with some friends and we all had a great time! One of my friends orders here frequently and the other hadn't been, like me! They have a big menu! I was surprised! When you sit they give chips and salsa for the table. Their salsa was pretty good. I ordered the flautas appetizer (as my main) and the "cup" of tortilla soup. I put quotes around cup because it was huge! I was so pleased with my food!! I feel like I've had not great flautas in Chicago and these were pretty good. There's a lot of fun decor in the place. Lots of nice light fixtures, fun pictures and cool tiling. There is a patio, that will come in handy in the spring and summer. They have happy hour and drink specials. I'm sure I'll be back for those!! Ps bottomless mimosas!

We visited this Mexican restaurant in South Loop for lunch. We sat indoors where the ambiance seemed a bit dark. We were first served house chips and salsa; chips were pretty warm and crispy! Also ordered Lime Mojito which was good too. For mains, we did Mahi Mahi tacos and veggie Mexican Sandwich, both were good. Had a nice time overall at this place.

New-ish Mexican restaurant to Printers Row! I love Mexican food so I was excited to try this place especially since it was around the corner from my apt! Stopped here on a Tuesday night! The place was very busy! We were seated within 15 mins! The house chips and salsa were delicious! I ordered enchiladas with the green sauce and my boyfriend ordered the Al pastor tacos! We also ordered the house margaritas - which were huge! The food was good but the service was slow. The staff seemed overwhelmed and our food and drinks took awhile to arrive. This place definitely has a vibe with the decor.

We sat outside on a beautiful day for lunch. I think the one waitress was taking care of the whole place, so it was a little slow. But we weren't in a hurry. The food was so delicious. The cheese dip was way better than I thought it would be.

I have visited this place twice. Great food and friendly staff. Great place to unwind.

I've been coming here at least once a month since they opened and gotta say it's one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. They have a good variety of Margaritas made with real fruit almost always order one. The menu has gone through a couple iterations. The mole and pozole are amazing and are two of my favorite items. I sort of miss the green rice they used to have it was different and bright but I understand it wasn't for everyone so they changed it to match customer expectations. When the weather is nice the patio is a good vibe but the decor inside the restaurant is great too. Would recommend and will be back.

Stoped in to try some Mexican food. Omg not even close. Even got some chips and queso had to eat the queso with a fork

Came here with coworkers after a long day. we had a great time and I was so grateful that they could accommodate our big group. Had a Michelada, barbacoa nachos, and elote and it was awesome. Will for sure be coming back.
