I want to gate keep this place so bad, but seeing that there's only 3 reviews I gotta make sure they stay in business. This place is absolutely incredible for a taqueria.1. It's the cleanest dine in experience with a modern interior, spacious, and great AC.2. The salsa bar is loaded. I'm a San Diego taco shop and taqueria veteran. They don't miss3. The tacos were Tripas crispy & fatty, Carne asada packed with flavor, and the Cabeza was so fire 4. The rolled tacos plate were huge. Loaded rolled tacos with a lot of flavor. The shell to meat ratio was just right. The beans and rice too Glad this new spot opened in La Mesa. Really close to home!

I had a great breakfast in the form of breakfast tacos at this new Mexican eatery. They are under a soft opening, so be patient. The tacos were two for $5.49. The tacos came came on doubled up corn tortillas, which were of very good quality, scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese. Each taco came with a very good amount of ingredients. The breakfast tacos were great. You can also get them with ham. The red and the avocado salsa were bliss. They both offered great flavors and good mild heat. The red one was hotter than the green one. The salsa bar offers a good variety, including hot carrots and freshly sliced radishes. The place offers plenty of comfortable inside seating and a small parking lot, but there's free street parking available. Service was very friendly and inviting. The menu offers a lot of good stuff. I look forward to returning. The place is fast and casual.

We live within walking distance from this taco shop and were excited to try - hands down the best Mexican food I've had in a long time! So tasty and fresh. I got the carne asade chips and my husband got a chorizo burrito and we both kept remarking how good it was! We will definitely be back!

New Taco Shop In The Area. And It Did Not Disappoint! The Menudo Was Good And Had A Kick To It Which I Like. Would Definitely Get Again! Now The Reason I'm Giving It 4 Stars Is Because I'm Picky With My Tacos lol. I Want That Homemade Tortilla But On The Other Hand The Carne Asada Was Really Good! And Seasoned Well. Definitely Coming Back To Try A Cali Burrito Next!

Excellent new place! Super clean inside, friendly people, great counter service (we ordered a couple of 'to-go' items). Everything is fresh, fresh, fresh and delicious! The parking lot is small but that might be somehow reconfigured in the future. We'll definitely be returning!!!

Third restaurant in this location and first with great food. My wife didn't want to try it because she didn't think they had a Mexican cook . She wanted authentic Mexican cuisine. I went last night and was blown away with how good the food is. The manager explained how he demands higher standards at his restaurants such as changing the fry oil every 3 days and thoroughly cleaning the tripas before cooking them. Yes they had tripa tacos and cavesa. Authentic Mexican with Mexican cooksThe TJ tacos I had were so good. Carne asada and tripa tacos. Bringing the wife tonight.

This place is a real find even in Mexican food capital San Diego! Great tasting, fresh authentic dishes and incredibly reasonable prices. Plus super friendly staff!!! We've tried their carnitas, carne asada, fish, and chicken items and haven't found anything yet that's not worth recommending.

Me and my mom stopped by late night around 9:15 because they had there open sign ON once we approached the door a worker was coming out with an order for someone else and told us they were closed . I then said well your sign is on so it's confusing he then said rudely "ya we closed" no apology just flat out rude . Horrible first impression and didn't even try the food and we never will
