I ordered from Seattle's best teriyaki because of the reviews on DoorDash when I was looking for something to eat. It came very fast and hot! $30 in total for my meal and tip. Overall, I thought the food was quite good. Nothing over the top but very solid chicken teriyaki and egg rolls with a side salad!

I just moved back to Seattle a month ago, and wanted to get some pho from what was one of my favorite hole in the wall pho places. It wasn't as impressed with the experience as I was before moving to VegasThe atmosphere was clean, a nice menu on the wall I feel the shift may have come when Covid hit and food service approached customer service differently.I had veggie egg rolls the were really good but looked burnt (not pictured) and veggie pho which the noodles took some work to get unstuck otherwise it was fine. The lady serving had blue gloves on, would let us get up to get napkins but you could serve yourself lime water. The hoisin sauce was almost empty and we had to ask for more and was brought another bottle that was even half way full. The sriracha sauce was a Tabasco which threw me off, but was okay. I also think the lady was thrown off by the fact that my whole family wanted chopsticks...we are part Japanese What was once my favorite pho place did not give me that good feel upon my return. Again, maybe it's because of Covid, maybe it's because of the growth of the homeless population in this area or maybe it's because through the challenges of having a food service business the hearts of those that own this business lost that spark.LadyFlava of LadyFlavaNews

Went here for lunch. There isn't a ton to eat around here so I was happy to be here. The food came quickly and the service was good. Overall it was a good experience and a nice spot to have lunch.

Paid a return visit to Seattle's Best Teriyaki, and there were many improvements! The incredibly rude lady is gone, and there is Sriracha at every open table. I'm a big fan of their Tofu Teriyaki when it's fresh, as it has a nice crispy layer on top. Their salad dressing is also much better than other places. The front staff not wearing masks is the only reason why this is 4 stars instead of 5.

Not the best teriyaki in Seattle, despite the name. I was craving some teriyaki around lunchtime, so found Seattle's Best Teriyaki while in the SODO area and decided to give it a try. (You never know if you don't try it, right?)It was pretty quiet when I visited on a Thursday, with only two other parties dining in and a few others waiting for their takeout. Located in a small business strip in SODO, it shares space with a pho eatery and is easy to find along 4th Avenue. The menu is large, and features not only teriyaki, but other classic Asian dishes, like Mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice, etc... I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki, which came with white rice and a side salad. There's an upcharge for brown or fried rice. Additionally, they do not accept American Express. The food didn't take too long to get. But overall, it was A-OK. Though the chicken was tender, I like my teriyaki with some grill flavor to it, so found it lackluster. The spice level was also mild, so added some red chili sauce from the table to amp it up. Side salad was a typical salad that's usually found with teriyaki dishes, with that sweet dressing and iceberg lettuce. Because of how many other teriyaki spots there are in SODO, even just along 4th Avenue, I would more likely try elsewhere than revisit Seattle's Best Teriyaki. It's not a bad spot for teriyaki, but far from the best, as the name suggests.

Stopped by to try Seattle's Best on a whim. There's a reason it's called Seattle's Best. On first bite, this soared easily to my favorite teriyaki in Seattle proper.Really fast service, order at counter and food was on the table 5 minutes later. Portion sizes were huge for the price, which is hard to come by in Seattle these days. The location is great in SODO near the light rail just off 4th Ave S in a strip mall building.I'd attach a photo, but the food was so good I devoured it all! Will definitely be back.

Very nice people and great food. The place is nice and clean and I honestly cannot understand some of the other reviews. I was very pleased with everything. I'm sure being downtown like that is hard for them as a business as well. I really appreciate being able to get good quality food down there that is not fast foot garbage. The chicken teriyaki was great and so were my steamed veggies. Good sauce too.

I don't usually write reviews but this was just WRONG!!!I ordered some sweet and sour teriyaki to go and while waiting for my food I stepped out for a minute. When I came back in, I sat down in a waiting area to wait for my food. At one point one of the employees called an order and nobody was coming to get it. They started going around the place and came up to one of the guys at the table who was actively eating his food and told him that it was his order. Again, he's already eating. During a quick exchange, I overheard the lady saying to the guy eating "it's not yours", she then grabbed the container he was eating from with frustration and gave him a new box stating "this is yours". The guy didn't seem to be bothered by that and simply opened the new meal and resumed eating. She took the other container into the kitchen and five minutes later came out with a bag and handed it to me stating "we made you a new one". I found it little odd that she told me that but figured the other guy must have grabbed my order and ate half of it so they made me a new order. I didn't think much of it and headed back to work to eat my food. Once I opened my food container, I noticed that my rice was positioned in a flat setting instead of a typical round scoop type of style. I dismissed that thought and started eating the chicken. I started noticing that oddly some of the bottom pieces of chicken were covered with rice which was already soaked with sauce and the chicken was cold. I know they don't cook white rice and chicken together. I sort of put the pieces together and realized that my freshly make order was most likely topped off with some more chicken on top of the one some other guy started eating. The rice was flattened because it was also recycled from that same guy. I know they are in business to make money, but that was messed up and a health code violation on every level. I'm sure they will deny it and it's fine, it will be on their conscience and that fractional profit they made in a very dishonorable way, will cost them ten fold. Stay away please.
