"It is a bit out of the way, but what a find! It's small, homey, and simple, but the broth is amazing. We had the bun bo hue, and it is as perfect as can be. The broth is rich and umami, and spicy, and just a little bit sour with tamarind, not vinegar. The noodles were perfectly cooked and there was an ample amount of meat. The other highlight was the goat noodle soup. When we ordered it, the server looked at us like "are you sure about that??" It's not for everyone. The taste of goat is much stronger than lamb, but so well balanced with the herbs and spices that it turned out to be a fabulous bowl. It came with a special dipping sauce that worked perfectly. Again, not for everyone, but for us, perfection. The fried egg rolls were flavorful, and full or minced pork and shrimp. But a little over-fried. All-in-all, a wonderful find and I would be willing to make the hour drive again!"
"My mom recommended this lil spot. You need to park in the back and you can go through the back door, then depending on how busy the restaurant is, it leads right to the "waiting line." Speaking Vietnamese is helpful but not necessary, though I do think it leads to getting your food faster (cause you can order while you are in line). I like that the menu is small so you don't have to agonize over what to get. Prices are fair and food is hearty. I ordered the beef stew with bread, lots of beef (chunks) and though a few were tougher to chew, some were pretty tender. I just wish there was some veggies in there, the stew was slightly sweet but had just enough saltiness to remind you that it's a savory dish. Bread came out hot and toasted. Restaurant is really clean and I saw workers changing gloves multiple times. Each table also has their own bottle of hand sanitizer. Cash only!"

Visit Restaurant Page"I've been here a few times recently so it's past time to write a review.Overall, it's quite good. The last few times I've had take-out so I can't speak to the table service but the food is really good.On one visit, I got pho with tofu (wife's tummy was upset and wouldn't have handled animal protein) and boy, was it yummy! In pho, it's all about the broth and theirs couldn't be better! And the portion was generous, so we got a couple of meals out of it.Another favorite is their fresh rolls. Made to order and served with a hoisin sauce, I also feel virtuous eating my veggies this way. My most recent visit was for a banh mi. Again, made fresh, I chose the Combination: a baguette filled with a variety of cold cuts with pate, cilantro, jalapenos, pickled carrots & daikon radish. It was not the best I've ever had but still very good.If you like Vietnamese food, give it a try!"
"Perfect! It was great! Heavenly Pho taste...Also, fresh spring roll. If you are looking for a quality pho place definitely this is the place to try. You aren't going to regret and you'll enjoy your food...They were busy and they have somNy take outs to..."
"So this place has def. grown on my. I first came here during its new opening days and it was pretty disappointing to be honest. But now they have a wider menu selection and their Pho is actually really tasty. I've gotten their Combination Pho and their Pork Vermicelli noodles and both are excellent. Their Bubble Waffle with Condensed milk is quite nice and hits the spot for a slightly sweet but not too sweet dessert. They have a big parking lot (rare for queen anne) and outdoor seating that is enjoyable on nice weather days. Big fan."
"This is just a review on the pork vermicelli dish and iced coffee alone - I haven't had the pho and I've only done delivery so I haven't experienced the service (though my boyfriend has experienced the service and thinks it was really good, which is why I'm giving three stars).I would just not recommend the vermicelli bowl or iced coffee to go. The meat (pork) was over marinated and much thinner than what I'm used to. It tasted very salty and was too chewy. It felt like eating beef jerky. The noodles and the peanuts also tasted old and stale. The iced coffee tasted very watery which is exactly opposite what you should be getting with Vietnamese iced coffee, and didn't have the right condensed milk ratio. It just tasted like coffee grounds in water. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish either of them.Maybe their pho is what they are good at, and I just need to try that next time."
"I've been going here to get pho for years and never had any issues. The service is great and they give standard portions for food. It's nothing fancy as pho is a pretty casual cuisine. Parking can be difficult to find as it's at Kent station and can get packed on the weekends & in the evenings."
"I had not stopped in the OG CrackleMi in Ballard, but decided today to check out their second location in Fremont (7/28/23). As an aside, this was a beloved indie cafe (The Still Life), a former Sicilian restaurant, and later some short lived sandwich spot. CrackleMi - Fremont is perfectly situated near a main intersection in this lively neighborhood with tech businesses, retail shops, cafes, bars, and other restaurants. Lucked out with free 2 hour parking directly across the street, yay! The interior was inviting with various seating arrangements, and plenty of natural light. Ordering is completed via self serve kiosks that had a wide variety of menu items displayed. I was a bit disappointed that there was no pork lechon banh mi which was the instigation for this visit. But that's okay, I ended up ordering their signature CrackleMi banh mi. I also ordered some fresh shrimp rolls with peanut sauce. There wasn't anyone onsite dining at the time, so I decided to just get these items as takeout. After a brief wait, I was handed a large brown bag with my order. Back at home, I enjoyed the fresh shrimp rolls with peanut sauce. The crisp and aromatic herbs and greens were the exclamation point to these rolls. I appreciated how they were nicely wrapped and packaged as takeout. It was perfect on this warm afternoon. The CrackleMi banh mi was fairly sizeable, nearly a foot in length. Packed full of fresh ingredients: grilled pork, braised pork belly, fried egg, pickled daikon & carrot, green onions, cucumber, cilantro, mayo spread, encased in a toasted baguette. I did request the omission of jalepenos though. Tasty and easily shareable. I nibbled only a little, saving the rest for dinner. I still prefer the banh mi versions though from Q Bakery and Voi Ca Phe though. Nice addition to Seattle's Fremont dining scene!"
"A real gem. I will definitely be back. Food wash fresh and really well prepared. I get nervous with places with a very large menu, that it will all be 'meh.' In a party of four, we had one brisket pho, one veggie pho, one tofu General Tso's and one teriyaki bento. We all loved what we got. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are LARGE. I got a 'regular' size pho and had plenty to take home. Service was great. Restaurant was bright, clean and well lit. Parking is very limited, but a small price to pay considering the overall experience."
"My husband discovered this restaurant/bar whilst I was out on vacation. He wanted to share his find so on Friday night Nov. 11, 2022 we went over to check it out. So glad he brought me there. This little gem is in central Marysville, WA just off of State Street in a little strip mall just north of the Fred Meyer. It falls in near a 7/11 and another Asian restaurant. We went around 7 PM and had no issues finding a place to sit. District 1 Ban Mi Bar is split into two establishments. There is a sports bar on one side with pool tables and dart boards. The other side is the unassuming restaurants Banh Mi & Bar. Very nice lady took our order. It was my first time at the location so I asked if I had made a good choice, she agreed I had. I chose the Noodle Salad Bowl with a sweet marinated pork and egg roll. My husband had a Pork Bahn Mi Sandwich with egg. The food took less than 10 minutes to arrive. What an amazing surprise that was brought to our table. My noodle salad bowl looked so fresh. It had vegetables some carrots, cucumbers, and lettuce. The cucumbers and carrots tasted slightly pickled and sweet. Perfect for the dish. The Asian vermicelli noodles were freshly cooked, not mushy at all, just very lovely. The pork was marinated similar to teriyaki but better. It was just a great dish all around. My husband ordered the Grilled Pork Ban Mi Sandwich with a fried egg sandwich. The bread was fresh, with fresh vegetables, jalapeños, grilled pork and a fried egg. I didn't have this but my husband said it is one of the best Ban Mi sandwiches he has had.We also ordered Cha'gio as an appetizer.Everything was fresh. Very light and crispy and yummy! We didn't go over to the sports bar, but they have a full bar, the pool tables and dart boards. The dart boards were open. The pool tables were full. What a gem in the area.We will be going back! Our new favorite place!"
"Outstanding Pho!! Wonderful broth with well balanced spice and beef flavours!!Pho noodle is still al dente and with plenty of good quality beef! Friendly family business that is very busy with local crowds!Plenty of fee parking at the mall this restaurant is located!!"
"This place is in the same line as TJoes and Daiso, Got a couple of Banh Mi's just before 6:30 pm when they closed due to short staff. Most of the items on the board were goneService was quick. The staff was courteous. We got the lemongrass chicken and the tofu Banh mi. The sandwich is a take on the traditional Banh Mi. The protein was good but could have had a little bit more of the lemongrass flavor. The picked veggies were not pickled. Also missing was the fish sauce and/or Maggi sauce for the umami flavor.Like I said it is a very modern buttery mayo sandwich like you would find in Southern region of Vietnam. The bread is fantastic. The jalapeno slices add a spicy touch. I missed the cucumbers and the cilantro. It is good in its own right. Give them a try ymmv!"

We stopped by here while we were heading north to the outlets. It was a really nice find. The place is clean. The owner is really nice. We had a nice conversation with him. For those who find him rude, I could only think it may be a language barrier. We were given bottled water instead of tap, and were told they're free. The banh xeo was really crispy, even after it's been sitting around while we were eating our other dishes. The bun bo hue was not spicy, but still nice. I have never had a goat noodle soup, so had to order that. I found out it's a dish that's from western/Mekong region of Vietnam. It is gamey, so may not be for everyone. I was glad to have tried it. My niece enjoyed her pho. Is this the best Vietnamese place? Probably not, but I would definitely come back to try more dishes, especially the dried noodles with soup on the side. I appreciate they did not just have the regular pho, vermicelli and rice.

This place is about 3 blocks from my apartment. I stopped in for their House special Pho - large today. It had all the right stuff neatly packaged for takeout in about 5 minutes. My wife and I filled 2 large pho bowls and had a very filling lunch. I spent 10.5 months in Vietnam during the war and have returned 3 time as a tourist. I have eaten pho from Hanoi to Can Tho and this was very good and very authentic. It did not disappoint. We will definitely be back to sample their other offerings.

HIT THE SPOT! The rainy and chilly late evening made my craving for comforting pho ravenous. I'm SO glad they were open and that we stumbled across this place by a drive by. We were seated quickly, arriving around 8p they were still pretty busy at about 60% occupied. Interior was bright, modern, clean, and open with a TV in the corner. Waters were brought right away and our order taken shortly thereafter. Shrimp spring rolls (2), beef bahn mi, and a regular sized veggie pho (sizes: kid, regular, or large). Loved that the spring roll peanut sauce wasn't overly peanut buttery or fishy, the flavor and texture/thickness was perfectly balanced. My veggie pho came with carrots, broccoli, tofu, and thinly sliced onion with just the right amount of noodles. The broth flavor was robust and exactly what I was looking for! I added Sriracha as I always do for spice, plus all of the side bean sprouts, cilantro, basil, and fresh jalepeño. My dream in a bowl was manifested! They remained steadily busy as they approached closing at 9p on a Saturday night with both dine in and take out. Staff was friendly, kind, and quick! Definitely looking forward to coming back when I'm in the area.

We got two different sandwiches here. Both were delicious, we did add ef tea sauce to ours though as they were a little dry but they were fresh and delicious. The staff was lovely and quick with our order. We didn't eat there but I noticed some people were outside enjoy the sunshine with some drinks.

Okay, so I've been a Yeh Yeh's and Pho Than Bros loyalist since I could pronounce the words "banh mi" and "pho," but man... I think we just need to get Vietnamese food more often because it would break my heart to not add this place to the mix. New holy trinity alert.Their online presence was a little confusing but we were glad to see a simplified menu in the restaurant. We got tofu (veggie), chicken, and pork banh mi, which all cost under $20 even with tax and tip. The service was super sweet and attentive - they triple-checked with us on what ingredients we wanted included and it only took about 10 minutes to get out to us (we took it to go). One of their menus is in korean, but we think maybe those were from previous owners because the folks working were definitely speaking a southeast asian language. There's a lot of fish tanks to admire while waiting for your order, too :o)When we got home, we were so happy with what we got - for the price, the quantity and quality is perfection. They're generous with all ingredients, and they all seemed fresh and well-pickled/grilled/fried/what have you. The bread wasn't overly hard or too soft, just nice and fluffy and crispy. I think next time I'll ask for no mayo because there was quite a lot, but that's just a personal preference! We're very excited to come in again and hopefully dine in. They have a lot of intriguing side dishes, and of course we have to try some pho and bun bowls. Until then they will call to us in our dreams. Looking forward to it.

The spring rolls were good. The broth was very good. There are not a lot of noodles or meat in the pho. Friendly and fast service.

We wanted something fast after the visit at the Woodland Zoo, and you can't go wrong with banh mi (if you don't mind the crumbs of course). I got the food about 10 minutes after ordering. The inside is spacious and has lots of tables for dine-in. The banh mi sandwiches are long (and skinny), and are stuffed with ingredients. We each had half of 2 sandwiches, The Crackle Mi (pork + egg) and Spicy Lemongrass beef. I really enjoyed both. And I was full after 3/4 of it.
Visit Restaurant Page"I was introducing my friend to some Vietnamese food and this place seem like a good fit. We came around lunch time and it was empty at first but then it got busy. Service was good as they refilled our water and provided us with everything we needed. I like that they have other options besides just pho, sandwiches and vermicelli bowls. Price was also super reasonable considering the portion we got. Banh beo --- this is a staple food I eat growing up so I always get excited when I see this at a restaurant. It's not the best here but it still works. They are a little chewier and plain hereBanh hoi - surprisingly there was more veggies and herbs here than noodle. I do wish the portion of each thing was more balance but it was good. The variety of toppings was good though and the protein was solid.Com tam - solid. Satisfied my craving. The fish sauce here seem sweeter than most places.Shrimp salad - good amount of shrimp. Another solid plate. Overall, I was very pleased as it was a good place to introduce someone to Vietnamese food"
"Checked out their soft opening before their grand opening. Cute shop with cute designs. It's almost like a vietnamese Chipotle with good drinks. I got the Notre Dame (Grilled Chicken) banh mi. Full stuffed toasted banh mi. I inhaled the whole sandwich. I would say it's the best chicken banh mi I've had so far. It had a good curry flavor and was juicy. A little messy with the juices dripping and bread crumbs. The bread was toasted and not to a point where it cuts the roof of your mouth. The banh mi does lack structure and is crumbly. I got to try the kumquat and basil tea. I normally ask for less sweetness but it was the perfect sweetness as it was. Very refreshing. I tried my friend's rice bowl. She got the special that comes with an egg and 2 choices of protein. She got beef and pork. The pork is like your typical vietnamese grilled pork. The beef had a good flavor that I couldn't pinpoint what it was. They're both a bit dry. The cilantro aioli was pretty good.I went again during their grand opening and got a rice bowl and won another one. They ran out of white rice so I got brown rice. It wasn't too bad with it. The tofu was pretty good. It tasted like homemade lemongrass."
"Nice size bowls of pho. Got the regular size shrimp pho. Had at least 6 or 8 good sized shrimp along with lots of noodles, onion, and standard basil already torn up inside my soup. Slightly salty, so made sure we didn't add any extra sodium with the exception of sriracha!Husband had the regular vegetable pho. He seemed to like his. Lots if veggies along with noodles.Restaurant was clean. Seemed to have some good customers who enjoyed their lunch. Watching the food come out, the rice & noodle dishes seemed very large orders. Curious what the sushi orders looks like, but didn't see any. If we are back in this area we will probably return!"
"Five stars for ordering to go pho. Like wow. Packaged nicely and easy to assemble at home. Check out my photos to see how I did. Flavor wise. I think maybe if I'd ordered something other than chicken the broth may have been more flavorful but for me, on this order it was good. The accompaniments helped flavor wise. The veggie egg rolls were crispy and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well organized with a nice vibe. Loads of other menu items as well. Looking forward to trying more."
"Pho is the best I have had in the area and I have been trying many places. Chicken pho has a tendency to be dry at all pho restaurants but it is NOT here. Broth is super good too. Prices are also the same or a little less than others. Parking can be tough and existing the Asian market complex has no easy way out with where it is located. Regardless, the taste is worth it. They are always friendly and happy to help. Ambiance is the same as every other pho restaurant. It is always clean as well."
"On a cold winter day, nothing is better than a warm bowl of soup and noodles. When my fiance and I came to Tho Tuong BBQ, we could smell the amazing food in the air as we opened the door. There were a lot of people on the Saturday afternoon, but we were able to snag a few seats at the bar. I ordered the mi vit quay/roasted duck noodles with soup ($17). The bowl came out with broth fresh from the stove, and I couldn't wait to try! The broth was light but full of flavor. I pretty much drank the whole thing and didn't feel too heavy. I liked how they added a lot of green onions, as it added a refreshing crunch to the bowl. The noodles were cooked well and the roasted duck was delicious. They roast their duck at the shop, so you know it is homemade. The duck was both crispy and juicy, making it addicting to eat.Overall, I enjoyed my meal here and would come by again!"
"Best pho broth in town! We havent found a better one yet. The noodles are ok and the appetizers are fine. It's still a solid go-to for a rainy day!"
"Dong Thap noodles has nice interior. Their food is delicious and a plus that they make their own noodles. I would consider this a higher end Vietnamese eateries the price definitely reflects that.We got a Large Pho with extra meat and the Vietnamese beef stew that was under the appetizers. The Pho was delicious. Their noodles are a little different than any typical pho restaurant you would go to. They are a little thicker, but I personally like them. The Vietnamese beef stew was delicious, it tasted a little sweeter than what I am used to, but still really good.Overall, this place is yummy, but definitely a little more upscale than your typical Pho restaurant. Make sure to know that before you go because the prices are a little high!"
"We did Uber Eats and got 4 things. Pho, pad thai, garlic chicken, and a chicken and shrimp dish. All were good and it was exactly as ordered. The only thing to note that getting a small pho with extra meat isn't much meat. It was about 9 slices over the noodles so it looks like more than it was. I was anticipating a lot more meat considering i paid $3 extra. The broth was salty and just want i wanted but it's not the best broth. Fresh basil and bean sprouts too.The garlic chicken tasted more like chicken teriyaki with garlic so I don't think I'd order that again but it's not bad. Edible. Pad Thai was interesting. I usually get chicken so I don't know what beef is like with it. Not bad. Tastes like pad thai at least. I'd give them a 3.5. Id order again but I'd rather go to a pho place I know gives a lot of meat."
"Love this place food is super fresh, great selection of fresh veggies for your pho, delicious flavorful broth the price is very affordable portions are generous. The inside is always clean has comfy chairs and nice decorations very comfortable place. When I order pick up they are alway ready on time and they package the food very well never have any issues with leaking or my order being wrong. All employees here have always been so friendly to me"
"Polite service. A bit dated inside but homey. The prices were decent for pho noodles and other items. I've had many bowls of pho in my lifetime and this place was okay. It does it's job if you don't want to travel far and have a bowl of soup."
"After hours of being a tourist in town, we chose to eat something light enough that would fill us up but not put us in a food coma. We searched for pho and given the time of day, many were closed but this place was open.I ordered the regular rare steak and brisket pho and my fiancée ordered the wonton noodle soup. Both were delicious and tasteful. We were a little hesitant but glad we chose to come here. We finished all of our food and left very satisfied. The regular sized pho is 12.95 and the large is a little more. It's quite a bit of food for the price. A little higher than what we're use to eating in Vegas but all in all, it was good."
"The most delicious pho I've had here in Washington, so far. This business is ran by a wonderful group who always greets you as soon as you walk through the door. I've been here over 10 times and I never had to wait to be seated (plenty of seating/tables!).They provide free water bottles as well.Their pho broth is exquisite and is just the perfect comfort food during the cold season. Two things I also recommend from their menu are the pork banh mi and their bbq pork spring rolls! Sad that I no longer work nearby but I will find any reason to come back here again. Quality service and quality food!"
"Took a chance in this Pho restaurant and I'm glad I did. The menu was simple and had all of the items I was looking for. Ordered icd coffee with condensed milk, chá giò, and a large pho with steak, brisket, and fatty flank. I absolutely love the broth. The pho came with the standard bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedge. The chá giò (fried egg rolls) was still hot and fresh from the fryer. The ice coffee was already pre-made and nice sweet caffeinated drink to keep the food coma away. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try other items in the menu. Staff was friendly and efficient."
"I live down the street from here and am so excited to have found such a great little Vietnamese bakery/ restaurant near me. They have Vietnamese iced coffee which is super good!! And I tried the ham and pork bahn mi which did not disappoint. My friend had a pork plate with rice which he seems to enjoy. They have a variety of pastries and they also have pho. All of it looks really good. Will definitely be coming back here for my iced coffee fix."
"I just finished shopping at h.k. market right next to it and I wasn't even hungry but I just didn't want to go home to my family yet lol so I came in and ordered the combo rice plate with chicken and I freaking annihilated that plate. The side broth was hot and warmed me up, the chicken was grilled and the shrimp cake was my favorite! I thought the shrimp cake was gonna be like a ramen style with the pink swirl in the center but this was like a pocket stuffed with shrimp then deep fried, it was delicious! I'll can't wait to come here again :)"
"Wassup baby just stopped by here to grab some grib. Check it out - the Bahn Mi here is okay. Good bread but not so much meat and no jalepenos. Service was good and decent prices too. Like $15.00 for the whole meal. I'd highly recommend this place y'all. 5 stars."
"Located in the heart of Little Saigon, this place is known for their Bun Bo Hue and Pho. First impression, it's a bit sad as the store is walled up due to the ever increasing violence around, with the only indication they're open is the neon sign saying "Open." I was the only diner throughout the meal on a Sunday evening, which was surprising given the Bun Bo Hue was very good. Menu is taped to the wall so it could be a challenge if you are dining with a lot of people, though the owner may give people menus at that point, but he didn't for me as I could see the menu on the wall. I got their Bun Bo Hue special (#31) large which had beef brisket, tendon, pork hock, pork blood, etc with a large side of vegetables (basil, lettuce, red cabbage, and banana blossom). I wished they had pate too for completeness, though those combined gives quite a large and satisfying meal. The broth has a nice albeit subtle lemongrass flavor, which is one of my favorite type of spices. It's definitely one of the better Bun Bo Hue I have tried ever. While the food itself is 5 stars, I had to take off a star because I felt a bit shortchanged, upon reflection on how much I was charged. The large Bun Bo Hue is $11.85 plus sales tax does not even come close to $14.05 that I got charged. That's like $1 more. And I tipped a good amount on top of that. It's not the amount but rather the integrity of the owner. It's not a big deal to make this like a 1 star review, but I will be cautious and potentially not feel as inclined to come here anymore due to lack of honesty, and perhaps ask for an itemized receipt."
"This has quickly become one of my favorite neighborhood eateries! Their pho is absolutely amazing. Yesterday, I got the grilled chicken pho and today I'm trying the honey walnut shrimp. Today I'm adding a side of meat broth, bcuz that's how much I love their broth! When you get the meat pho, you're actually getting bone broth. Slow cooked, cooled, and de-fatted (within reason) before it ever goes on to make the pho. It's hands down some of the best broth I've had in my travels. I'm so lucky they're close to my home. Amazing as usual! I'll be back!"
"hubby and I were craving some fun after hearing about how good Seattle's is. This one was closest to our hotel so we decided to walk there. The lady was so nice she seated us immediately. We got waters and hot tea. The restaurant had a few other people in it and it was really clean. Tea was nice it was almost like a buckwheat. we both got pho he got the combo and I got something with like well done beef and meatballs. Everything was so fresh and so tasty especially on a cold night. We literally got back home earlier today and we were talking about how much we were craving this place. Next time we come back to Seattle, we will definitely be sure to eat here again."
"The majority of teriyaki restaurants in the states don't actually serve teriyaki, but rather Korean bbq.....since they are owned and operated most largely by Korean Americans. L L Teriyaki is owned and operated by Vietnamese Americans, since the previous restaurant in this unit was also a Vietnamese/Chinese fusion restaurant. What you get here is actually Vietnamese stir fry served like teriyaki, and let me tell you it is damn good. I've had the beef teriyaki as well as their chicken and both are incredible....portions are generous and the price is well below average. Expect to be out the door at around 7-8 bucks after tax. If only people realized how cheap this place was compared rainier teriyaki and ichiro teriyaki, they'd be coming here instead. I'm a definite fan!"
"Stopped by and was glancing at the menu when the guy working asked if he could make a suggestion. He offered to let us try some of the sugar cane juice. He was very friendly and gave us a guarantee that if we didn't like our drinks, he would get a refund us or make us a new drink. We ordered the avocado smash and the salted lemon sugar cane. Both were delicious! Highly recommend"
