Smaly K. "Just had lunch nearby so decided to get try a drink with my friend who comes here often. I'm not a fan of milk, so I was looking for something with no milk in it, and went for the Tropical Sunrise. You have the option of adding other ingredients into it, so I added kiwi for an additional $1. I really liked my drink; it was refreshing and tart, just what I wanted. My friend got the Spicy Mango, but it wasn't what she was expecting, and she didn't like it. So, she got a new one and I drank her Spicy Mango, which I thought was good, but not as good as my Tropical Sunrise. Staff was really friendly and helpful."

Zac D. "Great authentic Indian food for a fair price. Got the thali and samosas and ate in. The samosa were great and came with some nice sauces. The thali came with several items, some great like the biryani and curries, some not for me like the pickled mango with pieces of pit in it, but overall worth ordering to try everything out. The dining room is pretty packed with furniture, so you kinda have to slide in and out, but it's doable for a quick meal. Worth checking out."

Emily T. "What a beautiful cafe with delicious options! Came here on a Sunday morning at opening time and it wasn't too crowded. They have a little parking lot on the side. Service was very warm and friendly. We were seated in their greenhouse looking room and it was so pretty! Love the atmosphere here! We started our morning with the golden milk latte and the passion fruit nog. Both tasty. The nog is on the more tart side and reminds me of a smoothie. Food: + cinnamon roll- pretty tasty! + mochi beignets - tasty but not as fluffy as we'd like. More of a dense cake texture and the sauce kind of made it taste similar to a jelly donut! + egg frittata with peppers and mushrooms. This was super good and we paired it with the cheesy grits! Grits were also really tasty! Ask for a side of hot sauce, it pairs well with the eggs. Overall, this spot is a little pricey but the ambiance, service, and food made for a really nice experience!"

The place was slammed but my food was ready and the manager was super cool 30 minutes after I called in.The chicken fried rice and pad thai are so good. Portions were big enough for two so I cut the kids off quite quickly.I go to Hanuman for lunch every few weeks so my positive review is over due. I hope they're around for a long time because it's nice to have their kitchen in town. Something about seeing them running so hard today with all the Mother's Day crowds made me appreciate them more."

Yun-Wen L. "Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - rice comes with the curries which we were very happy with. Wish there was a bit more rice as the curries were super filled to the top of the containerCream Chicken (Speciality) - does contain bones. Very creamy and tender without getting dry as some do if cooked too long. Mutton Rara was absolutely delicious with strong spice flavoring and the mutton was so soft and tender as well. Does contain bone as well, so don't eat it too fast! Garlic Naan was good but compared to the curries, very bland in taste. It worked wonderfully to absorb the curry though! Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Only six tables but very high ceilings so it feels roomy. Smells wonderfully of food and incense but quite warm with the door open (heat wave). Yellow cathode tubes for lighting with no cover Service: 5/5 - super friendly and able to make a few recommendations for us to try. Took the time to explain how different dishes are made and which one to order based on your preference Value for price: 5/5 - very simple shop from the first glance but with such a friendly worker and delicious food, would highly recommend!"

Veronica K. "I tried this vegan restaurant in Everett for the first time last week. I heard about it on a news article saying it's one of the best vegan restaurants in the area. From the outside, it doesn't look very inviting. But the inside is really large and well decorated, with a bar lounge area and a regular dining area with booths and lots of seating. The staff were super friendly, giving me great recommendations for what to order and good conversation.I ordered the vegan buffalo wings, which is made from homemade seitan wrapped around a fake bone and fried, then dipped in buffalo sauce. This was really delicious, and you can tell it's made with a lot of love, a very unique dish. For entrees, me and my friend ordered burgers with different toppings. They came with beyond beef, vegan cheese, sauces, and fun toppings like onion rings, vegetables, and more. It came with curly fries or regular fries, and the staff gave us tons of unique sauces for dipping. The burgers were really good, but the star of the show was the buffalo wings! Staff recommended the fried pickles and mushrooms, but were too full to try. I hope to go back and try them soon.We ordered 2 cupcakes, the chocolate bomb one and a birthday cake one. Both were delicious and made great leftovers! I really recommend this place. The staff is lovely and put a ton of energy and effort into their food and quality service. The space is large, so you can come with a good group of people. Everything is fresh and it was a great experience. I really recommend this restaurant! I attached some photos of the menu."

Jacques I. "I've always walked by World Pizza when walking around the Chinatown-International District, but I never had an urge to pop in for pizza until a food walk to me here, fortunately. My friend recommended we try World Pizza during the event, and I'm glad I listened to her. We visited World Pizza on our food walk where there was a special on their peach pizza. When we visited, we saw that they weren't allowing dine-in at the time nor do they have outdoor seating. But the thing about getting a slice of pizza is that it's easy to take on the go. After I ordered a slice of their peach pizza, they heated it up for me and it was solid. I don't normally like sweet-savory foods, but the peach with the bleu cheese on the pizza worked well together, so I was a fan of the slice. It's not a pizza I would normally order, so I'm glad they offered this as a food walk special, otherwise, I'm not sure I would've tried it. They did have other classic flavors that were ready for takeout, as well as their chocolate chip cookies that my friend mentioned was bomb here. Pizza in Chinatown. Who knew?"

Curt T. "Not so sure about this place. Wasn't excellent but wasn't bad either. Just mediocre. Got the Shanghai noodles and I do like my pasta a little on the harder side than softer but when eating Chinese noodles. I feel they should be more soft. The shrimp in it however was cooked great. The dumplings we got were ok. Wish it had more soup inside them and the dipping sauce seemed to have more vinegar than soy sauce. We also got the crispy shrimp with strawberry sauce. The shrimp were crunchy and delicious. I wish it would have had more of a strawberry flavor. It appears like they use strawberry jam I stead of fresh strawberry's for the sauce. The strawberries in the dish were completely frozen and icy when we got them so that seemed weird to me. Just feel that strawberry sauce could have been much better if they utilized the strawberries they had. Over all mediocre at a decent price. Just expected more for being in china town I guess."

We ordered the Pra Rama .($14.95 plus tax), with a side of brown rice (+$1), and the Pad See Iw ($13.95 plus tax; made vegan by omitting the egg). We asked for both 5/5 spicy and they delivered perfectly on that request. Both dishes were delicious, amply spicy and yet integrated, and very flavourful. Both were excellent. Michael X. "Kabul Afghan Cuisine has been recommended by a friend as one of the tastiest places in Seattle that she has been to - I personally have never tried Afghan cuisine before, so I was definitely looking for opportunities to swing by to try this interesting cuisine! We went on a Wednesday around 7pm and were seated promptly. The ambience of the restaurant does feel very homely, with pictures and art of Afghan landscapes, architecture, and culture. Tables are laid out with candles and lights are dimly lit, and service is responsive and fast. Food came out in a reasonable time, but it was also given that it wasn't really busy that night. I was surprise that we were able to get a table with a reservation so easily, so that was a plus.Since this was a nice restaurant we wanted an opportunity to try as much variety as possible, so our waitress recommended the Combination Kebab for two ($80) - we decided to go that route as it looked very enticing! I'll review the items we got down below:Ash: This is a delicious bowl of soup! I loved the flavor profile as you could really taste the herbs - there is a certain richness from how thick the soup was that I enjoyed. There was a decent amount of chickpeas and kidney beans in the soup, and both were tender.Badenjan Borani: A delicious eggplant portion - the eggplant is very soft and covered in a good amount of tomato sauce and spices. What I liked about this dish is that it pairs nicely with the kebab, as the creaminess of the yogurt sauce and acidity of the tomato complements the meatiness of the kebab.Beef and Chicken Kebab Combo: These are hearty chunks of meat! There is a decent blend of chew and tenderness through each chunk, and you can subtlety taste the spices and marinade. It is a decent portion of kebab given, and when paired with the Salata and Kabuli Palaw, this is a good amount of food that will definitely leave you satisfied. The Kabuli Palaw rice dish was delicious! I could definitely eat a whole plate of the rice itself - you can taste the coriander and cumin, and the raisins and nuts give it a pleasing texture. The Salata was alright, it was mostly just cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions in a small bowl - it did serve as a palate cleanser, but I would say this was my least favorite of the experience. I loved that they gave you a good tasting option for the variety of Afghan dishes that they serve where.Firni: Yum! This is a decadent dessert was really creamy and had hint of rosewater. Wasn't too heavy, and had a light airy nature to it. I would say this is a solid end to the experience! In the end, we spent about $105 for this meal. It does lean a bit on the pricier side for two people, but the service was nice, and it is a really good tasting menu if you haven't had Afghan Cuisine before! I would definitely like to revisit in the future to try the other options that Kabul has to offer."

Priya S. "Today was my friend's last day in Seattle and I wanted to treat her to a lovely brunch before her flight. In my research, I came across this place and decided to give it a try. We got there a little after they opened and noticed that a line had already formed but we waited patiently and admired their beautiful interior before ordering. This restaurant takes counter orders before seating which I thought was a cool, unique concept. We ordered the huckleberry pancakes, granola bowl and a matcha latte. A lovely, jolly Fez took our order and showed us to our table. For seating, they have excellent seating outside as well as a cozy interior-- we chose to sit inside. Upon entering we noticed that they seemed short staffed but this did not deter from the quality of service one bit. The staff here was working extremely hard, especially Fez. Despite having to run around between taking orders, serving orders both inside and outside, Fez had the most positive attitude and surely brightened my day. Our food came out shortly after ordering and it was so delicious. I usually never go out of my way to eat brunch because I am usually not satisfied after brunch outings but this place was amazing from start to finish. This meal was absolutely incredible and affordable also! The granola bowl was so creamy, fresh, and perfectly sweetened. The huckleberry pancakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced with huckleberries. This place and the staff that work here truly are gems. Everything we tried was rich in flavor and was perfect for a family style meal. Dishes came out quickly so we were never hungry for long. The portion sizes here are quite generous! In a quickly inflated economy, I appreciate restaurants that feel like you're really getting your hard earned moneys worth on delicious food.Only thing I wish they'd do is include rice with their curries instead of having it be a separate side order, but it's not a huge deal.
