Kyle W. "Very fresh seafood and the quintessential restaurant resembling Pacific Northwestern cooking. We originally made reservations (day of, but still have spots) for 4:30pm but realize that happy hour pricing is ONLY at the bar so we moved to bar seating which still had comparable vibes with the rest of the restaurant, just a bit less intimate. If you want a dinner at a more affordable price, happy hour is the way to go as the items are half off but the portions look to be the same as those at regular pricing. We shared a total of 9 dishes - 5 from happy hour, 2 from regular menu, and 2 from dessert menu. From the happy hour, we got Hawaiian hamachi crudo, Totten Inlet mussels bruschetta, oysters 'brock-a'fella', crispy fried calamari, and Barron Point Manila clams. From the regular menu, we got the barbecued Spanish octopus and heirloom cauliflower. From the dessert menu, we got the key lime pie and ricotta apple beignets. Appetizers: my favorite is the hamachi crudo as it had a nice sesame oil / soy sauce and the cuts are high quality. The mussels bruschetta had a nice sourdough that reminds me of Sea Wolf Baker's sourdough, and the sauce had a light mustard flavor that was not overbearing. The sourdough lended more of the acidity than the sauce itself. The oysters 'brock-a'fella' were good, but they were larger oysters which were not really my preference as I liked the smaller, sweeter kinds. However, the preparation method is excellent and the oysters and the bacon bits on top were flavorful. The manila clams were also fairly fresh; there was less additional flavor as I tasted mostly clam flavor but the soup had a hint of white wine. Regular menu: one of the more popular dishes is the heirloom cauliflower which is like a salad. It is shaved cauliflower and a great starter. The barbecued Spanish octopus is nicely grilled with lots of beans. Compared to the other items we got, this was fairly weak as it is the priciest ($29) and tasted about as good as the food we got at happy hour ($9-12 range). Dessert: key lime pie is nicely tangy with a sweet pie crumb underneath, served in a jar. The ricotta apple beignets were quite sweet with the caramel, but they are still excellent without dipping into the sweeter caramel sauce.Service is good as dishes are served at the appropriate pace without feeling rushed. Water is a bottle, self-serve, but the waiter / bartender still proactively filled water for us occasionally, like between the dinner and the dessert courses. Overall, this place is worth a try, especially during happy hour which you can just pop in anytime 4-5:30pm, but if you want a fancier, more formal dining experience, opt for reservations (which can be tougher for prime 5:30-7:30pm dinner times) and they will seat you at one of many tables spread across the two-story establishment."

The bartenders make the BEST espresso martini in town! We tried a few other mixed drinks, also very tasty. Food was okay, nothing unique compared to other menus in the area, a little underwhelming but decent."

Jane M. "A hidden gem in Georgetown. Their tapas style menu is focused on meats & vegetables cooked perfectly over a charcoal grill. Their flavors are influenced from Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, and the entire Mediterranean region. So in short - mix and match the small plates, meats, and sauces and get immersed in their flavors. We ordered the following items and everything trust me everything was delicious.1. Appetizers: flatbread and dip(hummus, labneh & baba ghanoush), saffron cauliflower (apricot and date molasses), patatas bravas, grilled kofta (mind blowingly delicious)2. Entree: Tahini marinated chicken thighs & Shawarma spiced shrimp. Both the chicken and shrimp were beyond amazing and so flavorful and perfectly cooked.3. Dessert: Labneh Panna Cotta (this was my least favorite dish of the night but still good) & Flourless Chocolate Cake (they do their flourless cakes right)4. Drinks: Their drinks menu is innovative with beets, carrots and burnt honey. We tried Roasted beet margarita, Hey rhu-barbie!, Spiced apple sangria, Oh bee-haveIt is a nice quaint casual spot. Service was amazing. Parking can be a little painful but you find a spot around the block. I can see this place have a wait time for weekends which is why we chose a weekday. Highly recommend this place when in Seattle."

Never failed to refill our waters or check on us. Really a fantastic server! We ordered the spicy shrimp, pita & dip platter, crispy Brussel sprouts, bacon wrapped filet and flan. All delicious! Average price was about $16-18 per dish. The three of us cleared all the plates! Parking was easy to find, the restaurant is warm & inviting and the host greeted us with a smile upon arrival."

Jacques I. "I had no idea Ten Sushi #35 existed until we saw it as a participating business for the International District Happy Hour Food Walk. I must've never noticed it when in the area, as it's located in Little Saigon in a shopping complex. But after checking it out, I can't say I'd willingly go back. When we first arrived, we weren't sure if it was open because it was dark inside, and when we tried to open the door, it wouldn't budge. We soon learned that it was just a heavy door; as we saw that once we did pull it open, the employee was standing in front of the door watching us the entire time, trying to pull open the door. It was as if they didn't want us to visit. How odd. My boyfriend and I shared the salmon nigiri and seared tuna and salmon nigiri, which were both on the happy hour food walk menu. Although the nigiri pieces were cheap, they weren't the best. The salmon nigiri was fine, but the seared pieces were unfortunately, too seared. Because of so, we couldn't taste the freshness and quality of the fish. The sear adds a little something extra, which is why I normally order seared nigiri pieces, but the sear was too much. Also, they drizzled a spicy sauce on top of the sear, which also added to the fact that we couldn't taste a lot of the fish. Bummer. I most likely would not visit Ten Sushi #35 again, especially for when I crave sushi. The food was mediocre and the space didn't feel inviting."

Alana N. "Really love the PNW flavor profile ( subtle and unique) and decor. Everything is family style so even the main are big portions to share. We started off with FARINATA. It was really unique, the clams go really well with the crème fraiche. Pair this with 2017 domaine des cognettes gorges muscadet, fr and thank me later!!! Baked goat cheese with honey is also Bomb. They come with not a lot of bread but they give you extra. Pork chop was out lease fav. Not a lot of flavor and just not the best. Pudding is soooooo good and such a nice way to end the night! I would love to come back to just eat FARINATA with some wine again!"

Tom B. "In short:A great new space with a nice intimate feel and very friendly service. The food could be really good with a few tweaks. Drinks are well priced. You can round this up a star if you don't see why some people are so picky about food. :-)In long:This spot escapes its strip mall setting practically the second you walk in. You walk past a big covered patio area and through the door on the side; it doesn't quite feel like a secret entrance but it almost has the vibe. There's a bar in back and kitchen off to the side. You can definitely see everyone hard at work. There are a few tables, a few highboys, and a couple of plush step-up booths inside. 2 flatscreens are probably showing the game. You get a warm greeting and a menu immediately. The kids working here are all upbeat, and seem to click with each other. You could imagine all of them going to the same party and blending easily. Jennifer P was the one who took care of us and she was amazing--really brightened our whole evening. We started with a vodka soda (nicely done. Also, pretty much impossible not to do nicely.) and a habanero hibiscus peach margarita. That's a lotta produce in one cocktail, and it works really well. Nice little nip of heat on the finish. Drinks average about $12, which is wonderful pricing these days. Rosemary & Sage FriesThese come out really fast! Couple minutes, maybe. Nice long thin shoestring fries, cooked until fully crisp. There wasn't much rosemary, sage, or parmesan visible on the fries, even though the menu called out all three ingredients. And there was practically none of them in the flavor, either. The spring onion aioli sounded great, and looked pretty loaded up with ingredients, but tasted mainly of mayo. If the margarita hadn't been so flavorful I would've wondered whether I had the sniffles. The hard part is already nailed with these fries--they're cooked perfectly. With some seasonings showing up they'd be pretty rad. Truffle oil would be a cool addition, too, but just nailing the ingredients listed on the menu would be a big step up.Tavern WingsThese are good. They also came out super quickly, somewhere on the order of 5 minutes after she put in the order. So you know they're pre-cooked, at that pace, but the flavor and texture and all that are perfect. Lots of Frank's-like buffalo sauce on 'em, they're messy. You can choose to have them without that, but if you get the sauce, they come with whipped blue cheese dip. I don't remember seeing whipped blue cheese dip before. Good flavor! A bite of blue cheese has about 20x more flavor than this, but the blue-cheese bite is present. This stuff was awesome to dip fries in, but it melts when you try to dip a hot wing into it. So you get just a little runny coating on your wing. I'd put this stuff on a couple things on the menu, but find something more solid to dip wings in.Tavern BurgerDecent-sized half-pound patty, fresh veg, a little sauce, nice chewy bun. This was good, and I'd get it again. We ordered the fries before we realized we could get fries *and only* fries as the side for the burger. So we ended up with more than a full order of fries left over after the meal. Not their fault, that's on me for taking a guess and ordering apps first without bothering to ask the question. But worth keeping in mind if you want to mix and match your sides ('cause ya can't). Maitake & Sausage PizzaThis was the most-frustrating plate on the table. Beautiful crust--nice bubbles on the edges here and there, beautifully browned, a little charring in a couple spots. Underneath it had a bit of darkening, and it had that nice sturdy feel to the underside, at least at the edges. But as soon as you lift a slice, it folds over from the weight of the toppings. I tried squeezing the sides together like a taco and it still fell back down. Here again the single hardest thing to nail is perfect--they have a great crust. It's a little thicker than typical wood-fired pizza places. If that crackery crust is 1 for thickness, and a Chicago deep dish is a 10 for thickness, this is like a 3. They solved the toughest problem, with a thickness not many places do. They accomplished something no one else has figured out. Then they load it with twice as much cheese as they need, and don't let the maitakes dry out enough. The center 50% of the crust was still doughy, but it was cooked through...just soggy. The cheese at first pulled apart like a tv commercial for cheese, but after 3 to 5 minutes, it was congealed and rubbery. The maitakes need to sit on paper towels or something before the kitchen starts building pies. Piling up so many damp toppings let oil soak through to the pan. It's frustrating to write this, because all the recipes are perfect, and they don't even need to replace any of the ingredients. It's just technique/process stuff to dial it all in. I'd love to come back someday and wonder why I left such a mistaken review that first time."

I'm always looking for a good cocktail and can imagine coming back. The bartenders were fun, engaged, and helpful. While not the most stocked bar, it seemed to have a lot of quality liquors and liqueurs. The drinks were creative and enjoyable. I was able to sample some bites and was delighted by the salmon focaccia sandwich. Based on location and quality, if this place had existed for the past decade, I could imagine having dragged my friends here to unwind, shoot the breeze, pre-game, or just try new cocktails. I'm not a big fan of margaritas with the salt rim, but the paloma is sweet and refreshing. For food we decided to share the nachos, which are huge! These were amazing. Tom B. "There are so many choices along 1st in Snoho anymore, and nobody is working the dive-bar vibe at this point. It's been quite a while since that was the case. Pace is definitely a nice place to relax with a few glasses of wine and snacks or a meal. It's an old warehouse type space--high ceilings, long, narrow single room. Light wooden floors, brick walls. Lots of highboy seating around 4-top tables, a couple couches. When the weather's nice, it looks like their back deck is probably amazing. They can probably get a decent breeze through here when needed, too. All this with some mellow downtempo coming from somewhere makes for a very welcoming place to relax.Seating is first-come, first-sat. There's a short wine list (1 white and 4 reds pouring yesterday). You can pick a flight of 3, and it's complimentary if you take a bottle home. The menu is interesting--focused on classic dishes done well. Not a huge long list of choices, but they all certainly sit right in my wheelhouse. We had a charcuterie plate--2 decent salamis and 3 great cheeses, along with some jam, arugula, toasted bread, and rad raw honey. Honeycomb still sitting in it, in all its peppery-sweet waxy goodness. The Whatcom White with Peppercorn is a crazy good cheese. We also got the bone marrow, which comes with roasted garlic, mushrooms, demiglace, and more toasty bread. This marrow gives just about any place I can think of a run for its marrow money. The crowd filled up pretty quickly in the late afternoon. Couples hanging out, groups of friends, groups of moms, a couple family groups. The owner and his grandson greeted people, while mom and dad and a few others worked the bar. One girl scout and her mom came in to sling cookies. Some people were definitely dressed up a little bit to go out, and it all had a very friendly community watering hole vibe. We tried all the wines; the sauv blanc was a little on the subdued side, as was the tempranillo. The syrah had good flavors and a big body to it, seemed like a good steak wine. The rhone blend and bordeaux blend both had awesome flavor profiles with lighter, more-sippable body to them, and we took home 2 bottles of the bordeaux. I'd really love to come back with more appetite and check out the entrees. The appetizers made it very clear that this kitchen knows what it's doing, and based on the descriptions (and recommendations from friends), I'm sure the full dinners are just great. The service stays right on point throughout--it kinda looks like their whole focus is on being a tasting room, but once you sit down and interact with the staff you know right away that the restaurant service is good. It's intimate, with an Alice in Wonderland vibe courtesy of the long evergreen velvet benches, wall sconces, arcaded hallway, exposed beams, vintage baroque furniture, playful chandeliers and green and gold perhaps french inspired wall paper. I will say the benches are pretty high. I'm 5'4 and had to grab a chair to give me a boost up.... but once upon my perch the view of the space was lovely. The cocktail program is respectable, with interesting drinks for a variety of tastes. I will say the prices are high...$17 per cocktail but they are good. Among the sampled drinks were The Blackbird (with pomegranate liqueur, creme de cassis, squid ink tincture and splash of cava and the perfect vampire drink), The Painkiller (a very tropical, rum-based drink) and The Missionary's Downfall (a blended, rum-based drink with more sweet and fresh mint). All were well-made, presented and delicious. Also sampled was the rotating soup, a fiery clam chowder (about a 3 star out of five). It was delicious: great texture, herbs, plentiful clam meat (you'd have to try and come up with a spoon without clam) and perfectly cooked potatoes. If not for the spice (delicious, but rough on sensitive tummies), this could be the best clam chowder in the hood (even over Pike Place Chowder). As it was, scrumptious and much enjoyed. After hanging out at Radiator Whiskey, this place feels like a library. It was really delicious. The Glögg was warm, heavy, and perfect for a winter day. The vibe is romantic in there, some exposed lighting and minimalist furniture. I'd love to come back for dinner some day. Sitting at the bar was nice and inviting."

Wendi K. "Unassuming spot with the best food. Easiest parking is the paid lot. I think it's next to a laundromat because it smelled strongly of laundry detergent the entire time. Drinks were yummy - Watermelon-Rita ($13) and Prickly Pear Mule ($13).The food is INCREDIBLE.This Chicken Katsu ($15.95) is pounded very thinly, perfectly crispy and not greasy at all. The Bulgogi Kimbap ($10.95) was delicious too - loved how it was scrappily assembled. The staff were so accommodating and sweet."
