"Toshi's consistently offers quality food! They are my go-to for teriyaki in the area; I love their beef yakisoba, spicy chicken teriyaki, regular chicken teriyaki, and gyozas. My niece has also enjoyed their burgers. Super good!"
"This place is so good and cheap!!I met up with a friend here and ordered a shrimp rice roll dish, fried pork buns, sweet soy milk, salt and pepper tofu and egg custard buns. While I loved everything, my two favorite dishes were the salt and pepper tofu and the shrimp rice roll dish. The tofu inside the crispy salt and pepper shell was so soft and fresh... I was floored. The taste of the shrimp rice roll dish was very yummy.Remember - this place is CASH ONLY!!"

Visit Restaurant Page"I heard a lot about this food truck and finally had a chance to try. It was across from Aloft hotel by entry of parking garage which was convenient. I got in line with people who picked and ordered. When it's my turn, I ordered an old school pork chop bento, spicy chicken bento, side pork chop and Taiwanese apple soda on the tablet and got a text for confirmation. Since it's raining, I waited in my car. After 25 minutes, I went to pick up at the same window. The staff was friendly and would double check my order. I really like spicy chicken and seasoning of pork chop but wish there was more seasoning flavor inside. It would be great if there are 2 separate windows for ordering and pick-up so everyone waited in one line. Overall, I will definitely try other bentos next time."
"I'm not sure if one and half lab and rabbit rabbit tea are the same or separate? Anyways I got the strawberry brown sugar Boba drink and I really enjoyed it. It had just the right amount of sweetness, I could taste the strawberry, and the Boba was cooked and flavored well. I also got the Taiwanese Hakka style braised pork over rice which had decent presentation and some variety in the bowl. However I wasn't a fan of the taste and texture of the pork itself. Granted I dont know how an authentic hakka style flavor is supposed to taste like but I know this dish is usually served with pork belly and this was ground pork and it was soy salty. Would not get this dish again but I would get the boba!"
"We went for lunch. It was packed and it's a pretty big restaurant. The food is amazing. The filling has taste."
"This is a great Dough Zone location. The food and service was very fast and efficient, they exceeded my expectations. If you enjoy noddles or dumplings, I highly recommend this Dough Zone location."
"I came with a group of 5 at 8p on a Thursday, easily seated us and we ordered food. All the dishes arrived super quickly and the food was solid. I liked all the dishes, very excited to eat water spinach, enjoyed the fried chicken, and the eggplant!I enjoy coming here because the food is reliable, okay price, and comes out very quickly! Maybe next time can try the mini hot pot alone"
"This spot is consistently delish!Service is quick and you can sense the kind service even with the masks on.Cannot eat enough of the mini pancakes!"
"This place is a to-go only joint serving up a combination of ready-made Taiwanese comfort food, cold side dishes, and frozen dumplings. If you ever need a pick me up, this is definitely the place to go. While they might sell out of certain items in the morning, they constantly are pumping out fresh braised pork bowls and purple rice rolls, so if you're hoping to grab these you can come any time of day.Egg Custards (4.5/5): Unlike the Portuguese style version, Tofu 101 uses a almond shortbread for the crust and the crumbly texture works perfectly with the THICC, silky smooth custard. Not too sweet and huge, always a great choice.Braised Pork Rice (4.5/5): Super fatty, savory braised pork that melts in your mouth. The sauce and grease soaks into the rice, so every bite is super flavorful. A bit too heavy to finish by yourself, but delicious nonetheless.Purple Rice Roll (4.25/5): This has perfect combination of textures and flavors: chewy sticky rice, crunchy you tiao, tangy pickled mustard, and salty pork floss. A carby delight that's the best way to start the weekend."

Hands-down, best teriyaki around. This is my go to for Teriyaki in Edmonds. This also happens to be the go to for my parents as well. Always have ordered the chicken teriyaki or the spicy version usually with a side of Gyoza. I have not ventured into the Chinese, stir-fry, yakisoba or Thai dishes. Have yet to try the burgers. If you're looking for straight up great teriyaki, this is definitely the place to try. Big portions with two scoops of rice and salad on the side.

Good food but very poor service.I recommend there food but be prepared for the bad service. On the menu, there's a section called factory direct. They told us that everything is uncooked. They can cook it there for you too, but you need to pay extra. We were trying to order something from the factory section and eat it there. She thought a bit and tryna charged us triple..... scam. We went there around 8 am, there were no one besides me and my friend. However we waited around 30min for the food. We reinforced her 3 times that we wanted cold soy milk, and she wrote it down but she brought us the hot one and we told her that we want the cold one. She seemed very confused and asked if we asked for cold one. I was like..... girl I just saw you wrote it down..... I don't want to blame her because of her age. I saw more than 5 people who works at that restaurant that seems 65 ish. For idk what reasons one younger women put up her apron and became our server. (I guess it's time for her to work.) man, she's impolite and sarcastic. I would rather have the old server that forgot stuff. The way they write the bill is confusing. They wrote it in Chinese and the handwriting is very messy. There's no other number than a total. We were trying to calculate it and she gave us a weird face. They only accept cash and they count in front of you.

Legit taiwanese fried pork chops and chicken, sometimes difficult to find hours and locations that work since they are all over the place. I came here to get takeout when they were at the stone lounge in bellevue on a Sunday afternoon. The parking lot was not too full and there were 5 other customers. They don't have seating and we're not clearly marked. The service was good. The lady who took my order was kind and offered good recommendations. They were able to prepare the food in 10-15 minutes and completed my order well. The food itself was well seasoned and tasty. The owner had told me it wouldn't be soggy in an hr, but unfortunately at 40 minutes it was soggy so hard to give a complete review. I ordered the fried pork chop bento and a side of the spicy chicken. They were both well seasoned. The bento had corn, spinach, and a half a brown seasoned egg. The portion was decent and it was all served over warm rice. The side of spicy chicken was crispier as it was in a paper box and came with a sauce that was spicy and a little sweet. In combo it was a good amount of food for 2 people and satisfying though soggy. The price was a little high for a food truck, but probably average with inflation at around $15 a bento with the side being $7 so it came out to around $25 with tax. It wouldn't discourage me from coming back.Overall, well made delicious food, but a bit soggy for takeout and they don't really offer seating or places to eat there (except in your car). Reasonable prices, but difficult to track down. However, would recommend a taste with all things considered. The loss of a star is really due to the inconsistent location/times and lack of immediate eating space/ sogginess.

Pretty new boba n snack place in the plaza where Thai Noodle boat is. It's cute little place. I liked the teas bc you can taste the tea flavor. I ordered the Assam milk tea with boba. Passion green tea. Fried squid balls, popcorn chicken and fried pork chop with rice. Good flavors on the food items. So glad there are more choices for me to go to.

Enjoyed takeout from here recently. Order was delivered with high quality, and the packaging was of a high standard. I got the fried wontons with sweet and spicy garlic sauce, and the beef stew noodles (a perfect dish when you're under the weather or needing comfort food!). Both were super flavorful and I was almost sad when they were eaten!! Really impressed by how good this was for takeout, surprisingly worth the price. I haven't eaten in the building yet but based on this experience I'm sure the restaurant will be good. It looks like a nice space in there with plenty seating and parking available too.

Not the best taiwanese dishes I ever had but it's acceptable. I'm not quite clear on how it gets so busy though. The food was pretty average, nothing honestly special to brag about.I did try their salted egg prawns and that was decent. Shrimp was bouncy and the salted egg was just enough flavor.Their beef noodle soup was pretty generic. Noodles were overcooked and the meat slices were so thin and bland. I wouldn't order this again. I also tried their dry meat noodle and that was also kind of bland and overcooked noodles. Skip that as well.I tried the oyster pancake and it was acceptable. Facing east has better oyster pancake. I also tried their marinated pork belly. over rice, that was okay but definitely not the best I had. Overall, it was okay, I think I prefer Facing East over this place.
Visit Restaurant Page"Surprised I haven't written a review for here yet, but been here numerous times, most recently about a week ago for their lunch specials. Big portions, good price, tasty food. Busier than I expected for a weekday, but no issues getting a table and high chair. Food came out pretty quick!"
"HardWok Cafe has two location at Washington. One at Seattle Chinatown and the other at Bellevue. The actual name in Chinese is "street side little stop". They have full Taiwanese cuisine menu. However, we are not here for the Taiwanese cuisine. We here for their famous dessert. It take 20 minutes of wait to get it ready. The name is Strawberry Custard Honey Toast. The preparation includes bake the 6" X 6" square toast bread. That the reason why you need to wait for freshly made item. The toast is empty out in the middle and the middle toast is bake and soak in honey. This middle toast were pack to bottom then added the ice cream. The fruit is added for decoration. It is great to tear the wall and expose the inside. This is an item to share among friend. It is too big for one person. The presentation is beautiful. Very desirable. A good find in Seattle."
"Decided to check this place out while at the Great Wall. I always past by it but never thought it serves food for some reason. They serve taiwanese food it looks like. After looking at the menu, decided to try some fried squid balls (new item on the menu). For $6, you get around 5 squid balls. The flavor was good, but the balls weren't crispy and it litteraly just tasted like fish balls. i wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The lady who took our order seem very nice even though there was a language barrier. Overall, it was ok, maybe i'll try some of there normal items on the menu next time and see."
"Love this Kirkland location!! It's beautiful and bright. Service was very friendly and helpful. Great for sharing food but a bit hard to have a conversation due to noise level. There is not much absorbing sound. Lots of clinking. Food is definitely worth it. My girlfriends and I ordered dishes to share. The favorite for me was wild mushroom fried rice. It was flavorful and light. I could have eaten all of it myself, not gonna lie! The black truffle and chicken soup dumplings were very nice. Tan tan noodles were really good too. Tad bit on the salty side but love the peanut sauce . Lastly, the pan fried pork buns- not what I expected them to taste like but they were good. I recommend making a reservation :)"
""I am glad to know that Henry is back in business. It has been a while since I visited Taiwan and the food he is cooking up is definitely reminiscent of my time there. I remember when Henry entered the international district, he made the best lobster noodles I have ever tasted, which he custom made for my birthday one year. Since he moved to the unit district, I have been able to enjoy his hand-shaved noodles, dental lunchbox, and his pickle beef noodle soup, which always deliver a good one-two punch. Overall, I always look forward to visiting Henry.""
"This place is not far-away from where I live, a small fast food place specializing in pork hock dishes, it is the same from the Vancover Wan Luan Pork Hock place Environment: casual atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite or a takeaway meal, relatively small, with limited seating optionsService: the boss is a very nice Taiwanese, he will talk a lot with you hahaThe Pork Hock Original: The meat was tender and succulent, cooked to perfection. It had a savory flavor with hints of spices and herbs, complemented by a slight smokinessWan Luan Pork Hock with 3 Flavor Sauce: using the traditional 3 flavor sauce of chicken way to cook the hock, the combination of sweet, savory, and slightly spicy flavors was a true treat for the taste buds. a balanced blend of soy sauce, garlic, onion, basil and chili"
"We haven't been to Facing East since before COVID and we learned that they changed location and only do take-out now. We ordered several dishes and most of them were tasty: large spiced Pork over rice, five spiced chicken, five spiced beef shank (cold dish), pork chop over rice, and Hakka style chow fun. The beef shank cold dish was just ok, and the beef was too chewy for us. Pork chop was a little hard and overcooked. Other than that, we loved the rest, especially the five spiced chicken (which I forgot to take a picture of, sigh!). The Hakka style chow fun was also delicious, perfectly cooked. We will come back for more take out for sure."
"MonGa and Facing East are the only legit Taiwanese beef noodle soup restaurants on the Eastside. Broth is brownish red and contains all the flavors one expects like anise and garlic. Noodles are thick and perfectly cooked, and the plentiful meat is tender after hours of braising. You can customize the spiciness from 1 to 5 and choose from beef and/or tendons. I got the combo with Taiwanese paochai kimchi and the pickled greens. The greens are sweeter than the usual sour greens, and the waiter asks you which version you prefer. Their popcorn chicken is legit and crunchy. No hot tea though, and take out cups are styrofoam.Ambiance is modern and noise levels are normal. The restaurant has odors from the fermented stinky tofu so don't wear anything that you don't want to put in laundry afterwards. We love that it was a family owned and operated restaurant. Weekend parking is tough in the very crowded lot- try towards the grocery store if you are unable to find anything near restaurants."
"Outstanding dumplings, excellent service, simple but beautiful ambiance.Excellent Xiao long bao - absolutely better than Din Tai Fung and Dough Zone. Skins are slightly thicker than DTF but the quality of pork and flavor of soup beat their rivals easily. Served piping hot, did not disappoint.Spicy wontons are tasty! They use classic wonton wrappers, but they wrap it more like a dumpling, instead of a wonton (found this slightly odd).Pork chop fried rice is beautifully done, would love to try mushroom fried rice next time!Japanese milk tea was honestly amazing - subtle flavors really shone through. One of the best milk teas I've had in awhile.Family-friendly, high chairs and boosters available. Reservations highly recommended, as waits get long especially on weekends."
"Pretty fun concept located in UDistrict! Just like a lot of gacha related stuff, a lot of money is involved - here, for a chance to use the capsule machine to get either toys or some promotion, you need to spend $25 before tax and tip which is fairly high if everyone in the party wants one. We did end up doing that, by trying out the braised soup as well as some of the hot food menu. The braised soup is $14.99/lb and is a similar concept to that of YGF Malatang in UDistrict, where you get a bowl and tongs to put in whatever you want and they will cook it for you. They have vegetables, tofu, noodles, fish balls, and sliced beef you can choose from. I got a little bit because we also got hot food, and it was solid. I opted for a little bit of spicy so there are some spicy peppers thrown in a rich, thick soup. They separate out the noodles from the other ingredients in a bowl which is interesting. We also tried the braised pork over rice, popcorn chicken, chicken fillet, and fried king oyster mushroom. The braised pork over rice is very flavorful and good, and it is perfect to pair this with one of the other dishes like popcorn chicken or king oyster mushroom. The popcorn chicken itself is well-spiced, though portions are on the smaller end for the price of $8. The chicken fillet has more chicken overall and less breading, but it has spices and preparation similar to the popcorn chicken. The king oyster mushroom also has similar spices and preparation methods, and is like the vegetarian option.Overall, the food is decent and the bonus is that even though after tax and tip our order is over $75, but we were $1 short of 3 coins (3x$25), the cashier still let us have it since the 4 of us ordered so much food overall. However, in terms of price versus quality, I have had better and the food here is priced in a way that it is hard to go just over $25, and you end up over-ordering as you feel like you are just so close to getting the capsule that not spending a few bucks more will trigger sink cost fallacy."
"My friend wanted the chicken soup from here. But when we arrived, we found out it's under new management. The menu looked different from before according to my friend. My favorite thing was the Bento, which came with fried chicken 椒麻鸡, tomato egg 番茄炒蛋, cabbage 炒包菜, and stewed pork with rice 卤肉饭. It was delicious and a great value. We also got sweet & sour pork 锅包肉,kurobota pork with bamboo shoot 黑猪肉炒笋丝 and stinky tofu 臭豆腐. These dishes all taste fine but nothing stood out, also on the pricey side. Service is great. The waiter was nice about giving recommendations, and came back to check on us a few times during the meal. Overall, I'll definitely get a bento when I come back."
"Parking: There is a large parking area that can get busy on the weekends. COVID-19: They were accepting takeout orders only. There was hand sanitizer available, and everyone was wearing masks. Food: The food was prepared quickly, we walked in to order and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. We got 4 baos: cod, tofu, pork, and chicken. They were all flavorful and 2 made for a good-sized snack. The baos were a little expensive at $5.25 each, but they have deals to get 2 for $10 or 3 for $14. I'd give it 3.5 stars."
