Brian F. "Xochi is a food truck located in a small parking lot in Issaquah. I've heard high marks about this place and I've been trying to find my Seattle taco spot so I wanted to try it out for lunch.Unfortunately they no longer have the taco combo where you can buy five smaller tacos, but I still wanted to sample as many as possible. Their single tacos are $4.98 each and are bigger than the size of the taco combo ones, and I ended up trying all five of the meat options.TINGA - I thought this was just okay. It was juicy but not super flavorful. 3/5ENCEBOLLADOS - This was very flavorful and had a nice char to it. There was no sauce but it didn't need it. 5/5CHICHARRÓN - This was pretty interesting; chicharrón is normally crunchy but it had a weird texture now that it was soft. It was spicy and had good flavor but the texture was a bit off for me. 3.5/5COCHINITA PIBIL - This was a simpler taco and I liked the pickled red onions but it was just okay. 3.5/5CHORIZO - There was good flavor in this taco and I liked the addition of the potato. This one was good. 4/5Of all the ones I tried my favorites were the encebollados and the chorizo. Some of them had really good flavors which even made me intrigued by their veggie tacos. The larger-sized tacos made up for the $5 cost and these were pretty good."

Nice and crunchy just how it should be (can you believe some places have tripas as chewy and not crunchy?). Lengua was alright, cabeza definitely had some good fattiness to it. Would definitely come by again!"

Earnie G. "I am going to have to return for some of the food, but the groceries are great. So much variety in a relatively small space. Clean. Helpful. The only reason I am taking off one star is the meat didn't look great. Big selection, but I question the quality and freshness. And that's too bad. With some improvement at the meat counter, this could easily be five stars."

Courtney L. "Four of us were visiting the cherry blossoms at the University of Washington Quad and needed a little mid-morning snack. This small café is located at the Burke Museum and was bustling on this particular Saturday. They offer a small menu of breakfast options, Indian (Native American) tacos, sides and sweets. Many of the items feature their homemade fry bread. We each ordered a SWEET FRY BREAD ($5) which came with a choice of lemon curd, honey, cinnamon sugar, Nutella or jam (strawberry or seasonal). When I heard the seasonal option was passionfruit, I went with that. Our four pieces of bread with topping totaled $22 (including tax), which is quite pricey. A single piece of bread without toppings costs $4. The bread is served hot and fresh right out of the fryer. It was soft inside with a nice chewy exterior and surprisingly tasted just like a donut! The cup of passionfruit jam had the consistency of a thin sauce and I dipped bites of bread into it. While it was on the sweeter side, the ripe passionfruit flavor shined. The others in my group enjoyed the lemon curd and cinnamon sugar on their bread. On separate occasions, my sister had their bison tacos (which use fry bread instead of tortillas) and their chili, both of which she enjoyed. I would love to try either of those the next time I visit. Considering how busy it was, our order was ready pretty quickly in under 10 minutes. Unfortunately, other than that, I wouldn't consider the service to be that great. The cashier was basically expressionless when he processed our order, and same with the employee who called out to us when our food was ready. No smile nor energy from either of them, so I'm not sure what was going on. I hope they were just having an off day. Despite Off the Rez being located on the college campus, this appears to be a spot that both students and non-students enjoy."

Maggie W. "Best taco truck ever!! I've been trying taco trucks all over the place....finally found the best taco truck here. The amount and size of the onions chopped up is perfect! I've been to other trucks where there's way too much onions or the onions are cut unevenly and way too big. Just the right amount here. The meat is seasoned beautifully. There is an option of mild, med, hot salsa. The last taco truck I went to only offered hot. And this place provides lime and fire roasted jalapeños- it all tastes amazing together! The only downside is that it was about a 20 minute wait for these 3 tacos. Well worth it, but they have an option to order online, which is something I plan to utilize in the future"

Marcus S. "Fast food spots get a bad rap and sometimes it's for good reason. I know what I'm getting myself into even though these days I rarely get fast good. I Also try to give the benefit of the doubt whenever I happen to go to a Fast-food spot, especially since again I rarely go.It's hard to do that with this particular visit to Jack in the Box and see that some of the other reviews may have some ground. My biggest problem is that there is an obvious language barrier with the workers here. I placed an order with one of the staff and he seemed to really struggle to understand what I was asking for. I finally just said that I'd just take a #1 small. Then the only thing I could get to drink was a pre bottled orange juice because the drink machine was down. I don't think I've ever seen that at a restaurant without some kind of back up like a smaller cooler with other soft drinks.Another staff began to bag my order and she did ask if I wanted it to dine in, which I did, but she kept bagging. It was ok and pointed for a tray. She then put it on a tray. She asked if I wanted sauces and I asked what she had, she couldn't answer and just kinda smiled and handed it to me. I asked for ketchup, and she walked away. I don't think it was out of rudeness, I think it was more she couldn't communicate and was nervous. Not a big deal, just took my food and ate. About what I'd expect. Not terrible, not great.I haven't been to Jack in the Box but a couple times, but I'm pretty sure service wise they can do much better."

Pamela G. "For a Jack In The Box, it's pretty good. Now, I'm comparing Jack In The Box to Jack In The Box, so this 4 star doesn't really mean it's a 4 star dining experience. The service is good. The woman at the window is very nice.Whenever I go to JITB I order the 3 piece eggroll. That's really the only thing on the menu that I like. Last time I was there I was jonesing for a strawberry shake so I ordered one of those too.Ick.Imagine cotton candy sweetness with really no other flavor. It was terrible. But that's not this locations fault. It's just JITB. So there, this review is really more about how personable their staff is and that every time I order my guilty fast food splurge at this location, it's always exactly what I want.I've never been inside so I have no idea what it's like, but the drive through rocks."

Philicia S. "Location is great, i love that they have a good variety of meat options. Price is higher than most taoc trucks, but you can see the quality in the food.I honestly enjoyed the taco meats I ordered, I got a good variety. See the photos and my receipt. The only one I did not like was the tripa. It was overly fried so the crispness sucked up a lot of oil so it tasted like crunchy tripa only, you can't taste seasoning. It tastes somewhat burnt. The grilled chile was also half grilled and barely grilled on the other side, I hate getting partially grilled Chiles. But no biggieAnother thing was the salsa. It was bland and lacked flavor. I was contemplating on giving a 3 star but service and quality of packaging and variety, location give this place a 3.5-4 star. I love spicy salsas and I like more flavor throughout, but the salsas lacked for sure. It was a little sad, but the other tacos made up for it. I wouldn't come back for this truck, but I think with a taco craving it would hit the spot for sure."

The Chile Relleno is home made and amazing. I asked for a flour tortilla to make a burrito with the Relleno and beans and they brought me a huge, fresh, HOT fresh made flour tortilla. This particular truck is in the gas station lot where Wendy's once was. Beef cabeza was savory, umame, perfectly tender and spicy. The quesadilla was enough for two small meals and wait time was only a few minutes. Its not very apparent that english at this truck is a tiny bit limited so dont mistake it as rudeness or what not they just dont speak conversational but they are very nice people and they make pretty good mexican food. Malarky's is located off of Gilman in a business strip, and the place was very laidback, as with any kind of sports bar. It's a spot to check out in Issaquah if that's your kind of thing. My friend and I came here for drinks after dinner and had a good time here. We sat at the bar, the best seats in the house, to get the full attention of the bartender. However, the bar was spacious enough, with plenty of tables open for dining and drinking, along with pool tables. The people here were very social and friendly, too. I liked that they had a good selection of local taps and the bartender was happy to make you a drink that he could create, so as long as you tell him what you want as a base. After beer, I told him to make me a drink with vodka and he delivered a cocktail that tasted like a Thin Mint. It was awesome! I'll have to come back for their food, as I hear it's pretty good. Jeff N. "This last weekend my wife and I were out and about finishing shopping and wanted to pick something up for lunch I had noticed a hotdog stand in a shopping store parking lot and had been thinking about giving them a try but they were a no show. So heading north we noticed a taco stand across from one of the chain burger places. Why wife knows how much I like street tacos so it was a no brainer. There was one customer ahead of so we had time to decide Both of us chose the taco plate, they showed three different options on the menu so we asked if we could have one of each which they said sure you get beans and rice as your sides. I notice that Elotes was also available so had to have that too!! It's nice that they have a debit card reader which made payment easier. Seams like a family run stand with mom running the show with dad manning the grill, I'm guessing their daughter takes orders and handles the toll plus helping where need. Everyone was friendly the order was given to us quickly. Now they were in a parking lot I didn't notice any tables but that was ok home is close and everything was hot when we got home. Each of the three tacos was moist and nicely seasoned. The beens and rice are pretty typical fare but good! Now the Elotes was delicious a corn on the cob dipped in a savory sauce dusted with a cheese powder with a drizzle of not a hot hot sauce but it has a little zing you gotta try it! I was looking to see if this stand was on Yelp when we ordered but couldn't find anything maybe I miss spelled the name so no pictures this time, sorry but next time I'll do better! Inside there is colorful decor, lots of seating, and a family friendly vibe. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive and we had an awesome experience from start to finish. We ended up ordering chicken fajitas and the steak rolls per recommendation of our server. The house chips are thin and crispy and the salsa has a slight kick! The fajitas were served on a cast iron kept over a candle and come with a plate of rice, beans, guacamole, pico, sour cream, and tortillas. The rolls came smothered with cheese with similar items to the fajitas. Food quality was plenty for my husband and I to feel full and to bring home leftovers. They have tacos, vegan tacos, kid's tacos, breakfast tacos, kids breakfast options and non-taco options with Margaritas & lemonades as well. They have limited seating inside and outdoors are always an option. That's pretty nice. Ambiance of this place is quite casual, unlike the impression from outside. The service was good. They make the tacos really fast and interactions were friendly as well.First of all they didn't have all the tacos available that day. There were specials, we picked up a few tacos from their regular and special menus. They costs from $6-$8 per tacos - a little costlier than the regular tacos. But quantity wise it's double the size of a regular taco. I tried their special - Tailgate Chicken Taco. Shredded chicken on a Corn Tortilla with BBQ sauce, Queso and pickled onion. The taco was too soggy to even hold it my hands. Is it because of the excessive BBQ sauce or the grease from the meat - not sure. I have had better tacos before. Not really impressed. Shortly after that, it - plus many other popular lunch worker spots - just didn't survive "that geopolitical tsunami wave" soon after that. This summer, fortune hath turned and blessed us with this awesome lil cafe! You can't miss its simple teal exterior with huge windows. Inside it is quite minimalist but still captures some small details of subtle homey vibes. Over time, it'd be sweet for maybe some paint accents along the walls and/or a few artwork to offset the white canvas. On the extreme end, some may call the interior pretty lifeless... either way, you'll be pleased to hear delightful Mexican/Latin(?) music blasting on just the right volume. The food is just damn good. Most everything is made from scratch and I think you can taste it. You can also go any variety of hunger: a big loaded burrito, a taco, sides or any combination thereof. But also contrary to regular Mexican joints, you don't feel 'heavy' from anything heavy in dairy, meat, etc. If you order to go, ask if you/they can add radishes and lime from the salsa condiment bar... totally chef's kiss. The staff is wonderful, friendly and welcoming.Wholesome, low-key, chill, homey. They don't have lengua (tongue), cabeza/barbacoa (cheek), or tripa (tripe) right now. They are on the menu but crossed out. They told me it was because they've only been opened three weeks and weren't busy enough yet to offer that much variety. Hmm. Chicken and egg to me. You need to offer them.I also had a tostada/chalupa. All good except the shell was just pulled out of a bag and used directly, so it wasn't reheated or fried at all. That results in in getting soggy quickly. Toppings on the tostada were good though. It's an okay place, and I am sure they will get a lot of business once the gas station conversion from 76 to Exxon is done (site is kind of a construction mess at the moment).
