Swanson's Cafe

Swanson's Cafe is on the grounds of Swanson's Nursery, but it's so good it could be a stand alone restaurant. It's perfect for breakfast, lunch, or brunch and the bonus is you can enjoy the nursery before or after your meal.

This place is super cute! The cafe is located in the nursery in one of the greenhouses. There was a koi pond which was really cool. I got the breakfast sandwich with tomato jam and it was delicious. I enjoyed the crispy potatoes and the flavor of the sandwich. My friend got a strawberry short cake parfait . I enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back

The plant lover in me was happy and the food lover in me was very disappointed!Ambience: The reason behind 2 stars vs 0! - Lovely ambience, cute Koi pond, nestled right between a nursery!Food: 2 words; Soggy Sandwich! - Ordered a veggie sandwich, but it was sooo soggy, the whole sandwich was drenched and falling apart, Fries were not bad but the liquid from my sandwich made my "crispy" fries soggy as well!

This place is an oasis! Food here is incredible and fresh. Breakfast potatoes are something to write home about. Ambiance is very relaxing with the water features, koi pond and plants. Service is great! Food is always hot and fresh. Bakery items are huge! A true gem of a place. Dog friendly as well to well behaved pups. Gets busy on weekend mornings.

Love this place! Great place to come with the family after browsing Swansons. Recently had the salmon BLT and a cold brew. The salmon BLT was awesome, the fries were tasty and perfectly crispy, and the breakfast potatoes from my wife's meal were amazing as well.

I would give this cafe a higher rating but they have downgraded their grilled cheese sandwich from last year when they used a quality cheddar in it. Now they are using some kind of mild American cheese with no flavor that melts quickly out of the bread.Also, the sandwich used to come with a great side salad. Now they just serve fries with it unless you ask and they don't tell you that. I was so disappointed as last year it was one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had.It's a nice setting and popular. I'm guessing the chef left or price was an issue.
