I've done business with Squak Mountain on a business level in the past, as they do the flower baskets, along many of the Main Street in the local communities, and always do a great and colorful and imaginative job of it. I happened to be in the neighborhood after a hike, and wanted to stop in and see what they had available to spruce up, colorized, and attract pollinators for my sad pots on my patio. My Meyer's asparagus struggled through its first winter in Washington, after living in the Bay Area of Cali for many years. It'll take some time to recover and next winter will be moved inside for added protection. I was impressed with the selection of plants at the nursery. Not only on the outside, but a huge selection in the greenhouse's! More selections of color than I had seen at most California nurseries. And I always look to support the locals, compared to the Big box stores, their quality is usually better, and Squak Mountains was top notch. The selection had me wishing I had more pots to plant! In time, patience. Lol Si to start with some color I picked up a red and a yellow calibrachoa, great for hanging over the pots with bright colors. For all those great pollinators, bees, birds, and butterflies, i added in a English lavender, mystic blue Victoria salvia and a bright orange Agastache, all of which should be popping and buzzing in no time. I also added a Superstar coleus to another pot to give a big splash of color as well. Looking forward to seeing lots of color and nature on my patio this summer. All the plants were top quality and well rooted, but not root bound. Lots of home decor and house plants to tempt as well. Another visit soon may be required. They also have a great selection of landscape plants and the nursery is well organized. SYOY! God bless and Cheers!

Very impressive prices for gorgeous flowers. Lots of items I haven't seen before. They didn't carry the tree I was looking for and the other variety i was considering we're all sitting there sold but the staff were nice and we enjoyed walking the premises.

Beautiful nursery with a diverse selection! Plenty of parking and easy to socially distance. Everyone around us was wearing masks when we visited. Definitely on the pricey side but it is conveniently close to home. Could probably find more affordable prices if you shop around elsewhere. Overall satisfied with the plants we purchased and they look great both inside and outside. Roots are healthy and have transitioned smoothly.

I come here religiously almost every week. It's so relaxing to walk around on a Saturday morning and do nothing but look at their plants. It's very exciting to notice new plants they get in. Staff is extremely kind always, and the owner has a super chill vibe. I have to disagree with the "$$$$" price indicator here--their plants are more expensive than Home Depot for example but not by much. Their selection is bigger and you actually get the full name of the plant with more information about it. Also I think the plants are much less likely to have stowaway pests than those from a big box store. I love it here and will keep coming. Their trees are expensive so unless they have something you can't find anywhere else I'd get trees elsewhere. But the plants are fair game. :-) greenhouse has at least one resident cat who is cute and friendly.

Squak Mountain now redeeming color dollars on annuals! Used mine to refresh my window boxes and hanging basket. Now the gift shop is open too. Love this all in one garden place. Great potting soil, compost, tools, trees and shrubs too.

One of my favorite local nurseries to load up on seeds, starts and gifts for plant-loving friends. They've got a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants as well as seasonal stuff. Their staff is always busy working and tending to the needs of the plants, which I really appreciate. They are kind and helpful when you need assistance.

I was looking for a nice, compact, low-growing variety of lavender that wouldn't swallow my whole planter. The first few local nurseries I tried had nothing like that, only the same 2-3 popular varieties that all grow up to be large. Squak Mt. had at least 15 or 20 different kinds of lavender, including several that promised to stay nice and small.Even on a sunny spring Saturday, when they were crazy busy, Squak Mt. had plenty of staff circulating to give advice and help people find things. They got me checked out faster than I would've thought possible, and even helped me load my car. It's a bit of a drive from where I live, but I will absolutely be back here!

Great local nursery. We found a pink camelia to add a color to our winter garden. You don't find that kind of bush at Homedepot!!
