"If you level set your expectations for American Chinese food this place is good. We ordered the beef ho fun (solid), orange chicken (really, really citrusy! if you're expecting Panda Express style orange chicken this isn't it), and the fish with salted egg. This last one was the biggest pleasant surprise with a strong salted egg flavor and tender fish inside. Everything was cooked / fried fresh to order! The owner is really nice as well :)"
"I love this place! For Edmonds, prices are reasonable and the food is fresh and tasty. I usually get the Cuban and a side of potatoes. Service is always great as well -- attentive, fun, sometimes even bantery. And if you like beer, they have that, too. Bottom line: If I become a regular anywhere, it will be here."

"Solid noodles, but I think I might've just ordered the wrong dish so it was nothing mind blowing-ly amazing. I came on a Saturday around dinner time and expected there to be a lot of people inside but it was surprisingly empty. We were seated right away, and service was pretty fast overall. You can see them making the noodles by hand behind the clear screen.I got the three flavor noodle which was a mix of three different sauces over their signature biang biang noodles. It was zha jiang sauce, stewed pork and veggie sauce, and tomato and egg. The menu said it would have the hot oil sauce as well which is why I ordered it but it sadly didn't. The sauces were good but I'll admit it was a tad strange having all three in one since they were all so separate. Since they were also a little liquidy it made it even stranger. My friends ordered the hot oil noodles which looked really good. I'll have to try that next time!Overall, the portions and prices are reasonable especially compared to other popular hand pulled noodle places. I would give it another shot, but can only comment on the three flavor noodle this time around :)"
"The service was good, the ambience is pretty standard - booths with paper napkins. It is very casual in nature. There were more takeout clients than dine in.The food was excellent, they nailed the 2.5 star not being overly spicy. We really enjoyed the pad thai, I know it is such a basic dish but they did it well! Really enjoyed our dinner."
"Pho is the best I have had in the area and I have been trying many places. Chicken pho has a tendency to be dry at all pho restaurants but it is NOT here. Broth is super good too. Prices are also the same or a little less than others. Parking can be tough and existing the Asian market complex has no easy way out with where it is located. Regardless, the taste is worth it. They are always friendly and happy to help. Ambiance is the same as every other pho restaurant. It is always clean as well."
"Finally used my coffee subscription after 3month of signing up. (unlimited premium coffee) first 3month is free. Their service is very friendly especially Scott and he is a hard worker. Their bakery looks very fresh. I wanted to eat everything before my long hike, but I ordered scrambled egg and avocado wrap. I enjoyed my wrap at the lake! I will get their bakery stuff next time!"
"Had a great experience here at Thai Rhapsody here in the Millcreek town Center area with plenty of parking. Received great service from the staff! Pad Thai with chicken was excellent and the vibe in the restaurant was great with the music and with some sports playing in the background. Look forward to coming back again and trying more items on the menu."
"Grouchy Chef is a unique dining experience. This may not be for everyone as you have seen in other reviews, but the food is outstanding. It is in an odd location, kind of in an industrial park that looks dark at night. There are some great reviews that cover the rules--but one very important one is to show up on time. The chef actually met us in parking lot and gave us the first instructions (about wearing mask and going to table). If you are wondering about the restaurant name, I found out when I sat down and tried to get photo of the place setting--I was yelled at that we should ask permission before any photos--and we did not have it (I was too scared to ask about this later for food photos--in general presentation is fine, but not nothing special). Also, be prepared to pay before the meal and bring cash (it is nice if you can bring exact change, but he has change which he mentioned he had sanitized). The cost is very reasonable and he does not accept tips (although there is a jar you can leave them in that goes to charity). What is amazing is that the chef seems to do everything himself--he cooks food, brings in out, and then buses it. Because of COVID it was not super crowded, so maybe he has help if is busier. The menu offers limited choices--but again, amazing that there are as many choices as there are with just Chef Masumoto. It is a four course meal that started with smoked cream of green pepper soup. I had not tried it before--but very good. Next was a mixed salad plate. This was put together very well, with some nice fruit and cheese. For the main course, I had the steak dish. It was outstanding, with a nice sauce. Everybody liked their meals--they were cooked with great care and remarkably at the perfect temperature.I also loved the dessert--it was a taste of a few different items, each delicious. We had a very good time and had a good meal. Following the rules might not be for everyone, but the food is top-notch."
"Stopped in for a late lunch, my other half wanted to eat stone pot rice..he ordered the slice pork and Chinese sausage rice bowl, I ordered Chinese flat rice noodle soup ( haw fun) with beef tripe and duck with a fish broth and Napa cabbage,.This was the first time I ordered this broth. We also ordered pan fried dumplings with pork and chives. The noodle soup 5/5. The.broth was delicious, very memorable! Generous amount of tripe tooThe stone pot rice dish 3/5. Rather bland. Not what he remembers. The dumplings were okay. Lots of meat filling, but I thought too much chives. The chives overpowered the meat. Not a good balance . We are happy this restaurant survived the COVID 19 pandemic, it was 6 years since our last visitRecommend this restaurant, especially for their noodle soups, you can customize your order choose from a large selection of toppings, broths, noodles veggies, etc"
"What I have had, Pad Thai, chicken on spinach, and some grilled chicken, have all been pretty darn good. The spice level is toned way down for the elderly that frequent all too often, five stars I'd equate to a .6 star, hard to detect for me at all. The spice rack was much appreciated, I'd emptied the chilis in fish sauce in a few minutes, came back with plenty more, Service was close to perfect, Grandma in the kitchen, sure she owns everything, is a BLAST! So full of life and happiness, I was amazed she was so energetic and responsive to my many thanks. Sure to return, and I can recommend you stop in, save room for their homemade coconut ice-cream, as I recall it was untouchable."
"After hours of being a tourist in town, we chose to eat something light enough that would fill us up but not put us in a food coma. We searched for pho and given the time of day, many were closed but this place was open.I ordered the regular rare steak and brisket pho and my fiancée ordered the wonton noodle soup. Both were delicious and tasteful. We were a little hesitant but glad we chose to come here. We finished all of our food and left very satisfied. The regular sized pho is 12.95 and the large is a little more. It's quite a bit of food for the price. A little higher than what we're use to eating in Vegas but all in all, it was good."

We stopped into this place because we were getting pedicures next door. It absolutely did not dissappoint! Small local owned business with a lunch special 7 days a week. The lunch special is now $9.99 and you get a protein, two scoops of rice, and a soft drink/bottle of water. The women who worked there was so nice! This is mostly a takeout place, but they do have a few tables in case you'd like to dine in like we did. The chicken was so nice and crunchy, it's more of tempura fry then a Panda Express orange chicken fry. But the orange chicken sauce was so light, fresh, and sweet! The dumplings were very good and the sauce they bring with it plus the spicy on the table was really great. It hit the spot! I think this is my favorite hidden gem lunch special place now :)

On the advice of neighbors, we decided to try Maize & Barley on a lovely Thursday afternoon. We were the only patrons there, and we each had a sandwhich... me the beef and Ky the eggplant. Both are unorthodox (as another yelper said) but delicious. I find myself resisting a 5 star review here, because everything just feels a little bit off, both the menu and the space and the staff behind the counter... and I can't really put my finger on it but I don't feel at all inspired to come back. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area, because it's really solid, but you won't be blown away, which is perfectly fine.

Soup and bread isn't just for old time prisoners anymore. Now we can all enjoy delicious and comforting food too!Lect's Soup Stop is the opposite of the Soup Nazi seen on the old Seinfeld TV show. The staff is pleasant and the soups are superior. This was my first time here so as I told the counter lady this, she offered me a great description of the fares and even a couple samples of the soups I seemed most interested in. I chose the top item on the soup menu which was their Greek Lemon Soup (Avgolemono Soup). This soup was hearty, filling and very tasty. Afterwards, I had to look the soup up on the web to see how I could try to make it at home. Apparently, it is quite a staple in Greece. I added the mini panini bogo special the advertised in the window which is two slices of bread with a slice of American Cheese in-between and then panini grilled to perfection. These were great with my soup. They also offer several other sandwiches and salads on their menu. The soups switch out frequently with the Garden Vegetable being a permanent soup. Their building was an old train switching station in the heart of Georgetown and is charming. I checked out their website and found that Lect isn't someone's name but the 7028 Life Enhancement Charitable Trust, which assist local charities in their endeavors to provide assistance to our fellow citizens who need a hand. They are only open Mon-Fri from 10-3 which is perfect for this industrial type area. Now you can enjoy some great food and support a worthy cause! I will be back to try the other soups soon!

Came here for early dinner when I was in town. The tables ended up filling up by the time we left. We got the pork & chive dumplings, which were a good size. We also got the pig ears and there was a cold spicy noodle that we got for appetizers as well. We also tried the house special chicken noodle soup, hand pulled beef noodle soup and saozi biang biang noodle. Everything was really good. you can see the chef making the hand pulled noodles the way the tables/kitchen is set up.

Great atmosphere with a lot of ventilation and fans. The waiters are attentive and very kind. We got garlic chicken and pad thai. Everything was fresh and the spiciness was spicy! Happy that they listen to the stat spice levels. This restaurant is family owned and has comfortable vibes. They were playing light jazz and the Sunday night crowd was chill.

There's good pho here, but the parking situation is horrendous as it shares the parking lot with the extremely busy Asian Family Market. Things that I noticed: clean tables, way too small napkins, nice background music, good pho broth.I got the seafood pho, which has shrimp, crab meat, squid, and scallop. I would recommend NOT getting the large since it's basically the same size as the regular but with more soup. Other than that, the pho was tasty.

What's not to love about panera bread! First time at this location, and it dint disappoint. Stopped here for a quick bite for my kids. They loved the mac & cheese and cheese flatbread + they were both served piping hot. We'll be going back for sure!

What an amazing lunch deal! I went in for the first time last week and was excited to find out that they were running a lunch deal- an entree with pad Thai and rice for $14.99! It ended up being a ton of food and I was so thrilled with what an amazing deal it was. The ambiance is really cool- they have a full bar and really updated feel. There is also a lovely patio and tons of windows so we were able to enjoy the nice weather. The food was amazing and a fabulous value. I also loved that their take home boxes are the reusable kind. Those are my fave! The service was a little slow, but the servers were aml very kind and had a good sense for what we could eat with our allergies. Tons of gluten free and vegan options!
Visit Restaurant Page"Wassup baby just stopped by here to grab some grib. Check it out - the Bahn Mi here is okay. Good bread but not so much meat and no jalepenos. Service was good and decent prices too. Like $15.00 for the whole meal. I'd highly recommend this place y'all. 5 stars."
"Authentic Asian foods - from a variety of backgrounds.Other than us, the entire crowd was Asian, which is always a good sign when you visit Asian restaurants. The steamed dumplings were great, so was my Seafood Udon soup. The service was outstanding. The place is tucked away in an Asian supermarket with a small food court, so it was a discovery. I only learned about the place from the three existing reviews on Yelp. Thanks fellow Yelpers!"
"G-ma got it down. She got the recipe down to a T! I was bummed out that G-ma was closed for Christmas. Guess G-ma gotta spend time with Mister Clause and her reindeers. Service is like your typical run down Asian restaurant - zero to none. That's why we always do deliveries! The food is one of the best Thai food in the PNW if not THE best! Pad Kee Mao is super. When I wasn't on my vegan diet, I had the crab fried rice, and boyyyy that was killah! Full of crab meat and the rice was fried just right! The ambience of this place is your typical ma and pops type of deal - not so romantic. More like a grab your buddy let's head out to lunch than a hey honey let's put in a reservation for two for our 25th year anniversary dinner. You get the point! Order to go or Uber eat this place bc G-ma be throwin' it down!"
"My favorite takeout spot! Food is consistently good, even as leftovers. It takes about 15 min to get your food so calling in is recommended."
"Ambience (4/5) - Loved the Vibes! It's cute and modern! The pop colors of couch were perfectly complementing the modern look tables Food (4.5/5) - Pad Thai (4/5) - The egg net was a great touch! The balance of sweet and spicy was good! Hot Basil (4.5/5) - Loved the spiciness and sauce for Hot basil! Will definitely go in again to try the Pad Kee MaoService (4/5) - The staff was very friendly and welcoming."
"I've been craving Seolleong-Tang or Ox Bone Soup all through the winter and when I met up with a friend for lunch, I knew exactly where I wanted to go and it did not disappoint. Traditional Korean Beef Soup in Edmonds is the perfect spot on a cold day. This restaurant had other options including bulgogi, bibim bap, sundubu jjigae, and other soups/stews. However, for your first time, you're really here for the seolleong-tang. I got mine with everything, which included flank steak, tripe, and knee cartilage. You can also get it with beef tongue too. I got mine with vermicelli noodles and the meal also comes with purple rice, and refillable kimchi. I love their radish kimchi and I definitely asked for seconds. As for the soup, the seolleong-tang comes unseasoned, so there's salt at the table for you to add to your desire. There's also green onions to add to it as well. If you're really hungry, I would also order the mandu or handmade pork dumplings to go with your meal. It could be a lot for one person, because the dumplings come in eight per order, but if you're sharing, it's perfect. This place is a no frills restaurant. They have ample seating, but it does get busy during the weekends and at night. It's a small, but very friendly staff, so be kind. If you're craving for something warm and comforting in Edmonds, this is the spot."
"The rice has a deliciously unique taste to it. Dont really know how to explain it but it was tasty. Try it for yourself.Banh mi and grilled meat is good too but expensive compared to other places. The owners wife and husband chat with me a little. They've been here 10yrs and she's the only cook."
"We were intrigued by the high reviews of Sunflower Garden so we decided to check it out. This place is in the Greenwood neighborhood at the end of a small strip mall. We ordered take-out online and scheduled our pick-up time for later in the evening. Note that even if you order online you still pay in store during pick-up. They are also currently doing take-out only.BEEF CHOW FUN ($11.99) - This is one of their most popular dishes. I thought it could've been a little more seasoned but I added some chili oil and salt and they made the dish better. 4/5CHEF'S SPECIAL FRIED CHICKEN ($9.95) - This was essentially just the popcorn chicken. They were crispy and were seasoned well. However, I was expecting more from a dish that was named "chef's special" than something I could've gotten at a boba shop for half the price. 3.5/5ONION PANCAKE ($2) - The pancake was very thin so it was crispy but there wasn't much to them. Luckily they were pretty cheap but I could do without them next time. 3/5Overall the food was good and the prices were reasonable. I'm glad I found a good Chinese spot more north so I don't need to go to International District for my fix. I'd be interested in trying their fried rice or other chicken dishes."
"Great Pad Kee Mao, very modern, clean atmosphere with some jazz playing. I will be back for sure. Right by the rental return lot to boot. Win win win."
"Came here on Christmas Eve '23 looking for a little requisite Chinese during the season. The hostess and server were very friendly. I had the Hot & Sour soup and Chicken Chow Mein. It may not be what you would get in the ID in Seattle, but definitely solid! I will be back if I'm in the area! You should try them."
"We had to stop here to try the iconic fish sandwiches! We ordered the blackened salmon and cod sandwiches. It was made fresh in front of us. Luckily there was no line when we came so we got our sandwiches quickly. They were delicious! Very flavorful and the fish was cooked well. Overall really good and very filling!"
"Super clean inside, super friendly and attentive service. The pork sausage spring roll was incredible fresh, the pork was still warm, they don't put noodles in the spring rolls (definitely didn't miss it), it was packed with veggies. I got the bun rieu and it was hands down one of the BEST I've had in Washington, can't say ever, since Vietnam makes everything the best. But the broth was flavorful, tons of crab and egg, tomatoes were stewed just enough. So amazing. Partner got the steak pho and didn't say if it was good or bad but finished the bowl, so it couldn't have been bad."
"It seriously took me way too long to get a sandwich from here. I absolutely loves the Turkey Cranberry sandwich. It was a well made giant sandwich with perfect proportions. I was able to add micro greens for a bit of greens. I had a turkey sandwich with arugula once and it was delicious! I think if there was some green like arugula it would be even better. The sandwich just had together and stayed intact while eating. I added a side of chips and it's a perfect lunch combination. Will definitely be back."
"A five star review for one dish - yes! Because it was out of the world!Chicken Banh Mi is one of our favorite sandwiches which we have tried in more than 15+ Vietnamese restaurants all over our Puget Sound and this one stands out. The key difference is the blackened chicken which has an unique spice flavor which we felt as a blackened pepper chicken and the freshest veggies including cilantro on a crispy, fresh bread. We did add an additional side of avocados to our sandwich. Will go out to try more dishes from here! This is a small restaurant but with a busy kitchen and well maintained unisex bathroomAmple parking available!"
"It has been three+ years since I wrote the initial limited review, so it is time for an update. Today, we had a full sit-down meal eating much more food that two people should consume. Hehehe.Located inside the Great Wall Mall, Mama's Dough is somewhat like a DTF or DZ except with more dishes. The food overall was very good with one hiccup. Not all dishes are visually as appealing as DTF or DZ, but that is not as important to us. The prices are very reasonable. I am rounding up the overall rating because of their prices. For $61 before tip, we stuffed ourselves silly with five dishes and brought home a full quart size container of leftover soup. Yum!The service was swift and courteous. We didn't know they close earlier on Sundays and unknowingly stayed past closing time. Sorry! Their décor is basic. The tables aren't too close together, which is always appreciated. The Food:Fish with cabbage soup (aka sauerkraut fish and tofu), $15.50 - 5 StarsDELICIOUS with a hint of enjoyable spiciness that hubby can handle, this soup is rapidly becoming our favorite Chinese soup. They keep theirs warn with a little light under the pot. This is a must order!Braised Beef Noodle Soup, $12.99 - 4.5 StarsHubby said the beef is very tender, the broth is tasty, not too salty. The noodles have three choices - handmade (thicker), egg noodle (Cantonese style), or rice vermicelli. Unless you hate thick noodles, I highly recommend the handmade option. You can taste the freshness of these house-made noodles. Braised Beef Pancake Roll, $7.50 - 4.5 StarsThe wrap is a freshly made scallion pancake, which is well seared. The inside is tender braised beef. The wrap has similar treatment to Peking duck with hoisin sauce and shredded scallions. Excellent combination.Tianjin Style Chive and Egg Pancake, $7.75 - 5 Stars I did not realize I had ordered this previously and gave specific feedback on how I like it. Did they actually read it?? I don't know, but they changed it to what I described as the BETTER method. While it visually doesn't look as refined as DTF or DZ, taste waste, it is better. I can taste the home-cooked quality. Pan-seared just right, not too burnt, these are well stuffed with coarsely cut chives, egg, and vermicelli. The wrap is thin-enough to not overpower the filling. Thumbs up!Vegetarian XLB, $11.99 - 3.5 StarsHubby teased that these are soup dumplings without the soup. He is right. They are wrinkly and shriveled up. They are tiny also, about the diameter of a quarter. I don't think I can't call these XLB with any sincerity. These veggie dumplings visually look meh, but they tasted pretty good. No, I didn't send these back. They taste ok enough."
"What we ordered: Beef Short Ribs Soup.Ever since I tried it for the first time a few months ago, I have been back here over 10 times already! My favorite is the beef short ribs soup. It's super comforting and you can season it to your liking with the salt on the table. Although I think the short rib soup is flavorful enough. They also give you a lot of meat and it comes with glass noodles! They also provide some banchan and a bowl of rice. I love the sauce with the hint of wasabi in it for dipping the meat, it's so so good! This pot can be shared between two people but if you want it all for yourself then why not? Service is quick and they are friendly! It's never too busy inside and they have lots of seating as well as easy parking outside. I highly recommend trying this spot out in you're ever in Federal Way!"
"Fashion Dim Sum is somewhat near a corner of a strip mall near Ranch 99 mall. Parking is easy. I heard this was a good dim sum restaurant, but I figured they would have normal dishes during dinner time. Nope. It is dim sum all day! Well, okay then. The chef and the one server spoke Cantonese to each other. That is always a very good sign. Sure enough, their food is legit. The dishes came out swiftly and timely (not too fast). There were only 3 tables including ours during dinner. Honestly, I would skip the lunch/brunch crowd and come during the peaceful dinner hours instead. The prices are comparable to most. Their deco is closer to hole-in-the-wall but not too bad. I would come here again. The Food:#4 Seafood Siu Mai, $8.25 - 4.5 StarsThis is an unusual dim sum item, and it is good! I would order this again.#6 Taro Shrimp Cake, $7.95 - 5 StarsThis is a shrimp patty, covered with taro strips, and fried. This is also an uncommon item, and they did a good job. This one was hubby's favorite.#9 Pan Fried Pork Buns, $9.75 - 5 StarsThese pan fried baos were surprisingly legit. It is not a common dim sum dish, more associated with northern dumpling restaurants like DTF and DZ. The bao part was perfectly light and fluffy. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed.#22 Chinese Broccoli, aka Gai Lan, $8.50 - 3.5 StarsI wish they did the oyster sauce with the touch of oil instead of straight-up. The gan lan is cooked just right though.#23 Shrimp Noodle Roll, aka Cheung fun, $6.95 - 4.5 StarsBig pieces of prawn! This is an excellent version. Also worthy of repeat.#28 Crisply Dough Noodle Roll, aka Chinese Donut Cheung Fun, $6.50 - 4 StarsThis one is more ordinary than shrimp noodle roll, even though it is good. I would get only the shrimp one in the future. #46 Taro Nest, aka Taro Puff, $6.95 - 3.5 StarsThe filling is unusual. It has water chestnuts. Different, not better, not terrible, either. I am hesitant for the next time.Full disclosure that I sent back the shrimp dumpling, aka Ha Gow. It tasted sour and off. I was so sure they would argue with me that it isn't bad. But I gave detailed comparisons to our many other shrimp dishes, and the server was cool with my explanation and refunded. I can't decide if I should ding them for one bad dish or applaud them for agreeably refunding cuz that just doesn't easily happen in a Chinese restaurant. I chose neutral and not include in my math."
"Dinner here after climbing Mt. Forgotten. We were hungry. Hapily there was a table for us even on a Friday evening and the food came out fast. Good flavors all around. Extremely friendly service. Nice atmosphere with lots of families."
"Delicious & authentic Vietnamese food right on the beach! This place is super popular not only for their food but their bar! Who doesn't want to enjoy a refreshing beverage with a beautiful beach view!My brother and dad love this place for vermicelli bowls and Bahn mi. I decided to get what my dad always get which is the sautéed beef. The sandwich was pretty big and the beef was so tender! I love that it comes with crispy waffle fries and an aioli for dipping! I did also try their chicken vermicelli bowl and it was so refreshing! A generous amount of veggies, noodles and chicken. My brother's go to is the combination bowl. It has a little bit of everything! Beef, spring roll, and prawns!Their menu is super extensive and there's something for everyone. Rice dishes, fried rice, pho, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and even a kids menu! Their drinks menu include specialty cocktails, beer, wine, iced teas, juice, and soda. We got takeout at around 7pm and my brother & his gf said it was already packed! Definitely a new go to spot when visiting my brother!"
"Delicious Thai food! Great selection for comfort food. I'm not a person who can handle spice but apparently the spiciness of the food is very spicy (according to my friends). Price is pretty reasonable as the portion size is very large."
