I've been coming here for over 10 years and it keeps getting better and better. First, let me say at first glance this place is a divey sports bar, with the usual pool table, pull tabs, and Dart boards. But it's so much more! You have of course the regulars who come here week after week. You have the weekly karaoke nights with singers filled with liquid courage. You have the intellectuals who attend trivia night. You have your pool masters and self proclaimed drinking masters. But what is most impressive is the diversity of people. The full rainbow spectrum. All inclusive. All excepting. And believe me you, the owners and bartenders will ensure all is welcome! The staff here is THE best in town. Remembers your name and drinks and can potentially be your BFF. They have no problem with dealing with patrons who discriminate or disrespects. The drinks here are strong and the portions are too big to finish (not complaining). The music is a variety of everything. And the space is pretty big. I can't say enough about this place. I don't get to come as often, now that I live on the other side of the water. But I definitely come by when ever I'm in town. Love this place!"

The whole place is very open and gorgeous. Loved the video games to play while you drink. They also had some outdoor seating available. The food options looked delicious but we didn't have room for anything but the ciders. That was fine because the ciders were delicious. Every flavor better than the last. Kelly B. "The food is good. Well, let me clarify: the bacon wrapped dates & the bangers are good. The rest is so-so. Toad In the Hole is really good, but takes too long and often comes out with burnt bangers, which some people might like, but I don't.My biggest issue with this place is the staff. They are friendly enough, but they're more concerned with flirting with the regulars or fighting with the grumpy old boss.Example: last visit we popped in for a meal (my hubs is from England and sometimes craves English fare, totally get that). We snuggled into a spot at the bar surrounded by loud, over-served guests. The bartender spent more time chatting and no time attending to us, or the people seated at the tables. It was annoying. Then, the grumpy old boss shows up out of nowhere and starts a fight with the bartender. Not a physical fight (young girl vs grizzled old man might have been fun to watch tho). They were straight up yelling at each other toward the end of it and I $h!t you not, EVERYONE left. We would have left faster but we had to wait for our tab. It was so freakin awkward, I don't know if we'll be back. But the hubs needs his fix, so we might be back. Maybe. We'll keep our eyes out for another place to get proper bangers."

Kevin F. "Edmonds has many great eating and drinking options, this one is a just a little off the main path, just follow the beautiful murals just off one of the main streets of downtown and you'll find the red door to the Churchkey pub, a perfect place to enjoy some comfort food and a drink.. or two on a cloudy cool afternoon. Very much the feel of a English pub, from the red door, the decor on the wooden walls and quaint bar area, to the dart board in the back. Quick and friendly service and seating, Addison and staff were quick with food and drink suggestions, starting off with the pastry stout 'Dark Persuasions' , a malty stout with a coconut chocolate mouthful, tasting like German chocolate cake, very flavorful! The Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo sounded tasty on a cool afternoon and Addison agreed, food came out quickly, a delicious gumbo chocked full of Andouille sausage and shredded chicken and vegetables ( only disappointment was no okra) so tasty and flavorful it was easy to overlook, just the comfort food ticket on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Following the yummy stout, which went well with the gumbo, being in a pub, I had to try the Copperline Red Ale ( love those reds) and this one was very good, malty with a good amber color and taste, great to finish off the gumbo with. The bowl of gumbo was a meal by itself, but definitely looking to try some of the other delicious looking items on the menu, which definitely has a English pub list and much more. The Reuben and shepherds pie also like yummy. Along with a full bar, the brews are on a rotating tap, so you can find many different types of beers and ciders for any palate. Worth seeking out, while visiting Edmonds, just follow the wall art. Happy Yelping, God bless and Cheers!"

With some variance good and eh along with it.Kings, which I suppose used to be a hardware store in the olden days but now has become a hotspot on the Ballard strip amongst a host of other places. A basic looking bar with divey dimness but kind of outdoorsy style with wood decor and taxidermy. Most of my visits have been just for drinks while playing, but I had the spicy chicken sandwich. Not bad. The cut, slaw and spice were all there. The fries were really good. Just the right amount of crisp and saltiness. This along with burgers and chicken fingers are pretty much the make up in the way of food here. The beer options are alright, kind of the basics for the area which is ok, help it stay different from the breweries aroundThe barstaff/waitstaff seem to be about the same every visit and they're pretty cool. The bouncer dude seems to take his job a little too seriously at times, but the benefit of the doubt comes in since this seems like Kings biggest demographic is 20 somethings so he's extra all over that. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday evening, but we found a table in the back and quickly ordered a couple of pints. I had one of my faves, a Mac 'n Jacks, which is almost impossible to find on tap closer to home. He had a stout. Good autumn beers for sure!We also split an oyster po' boy sandwich and a goat cheese salad. They even split them for us, at no extra charge, which was super sweet. The food was fresh and delicious, though I felt the goat cheese portion on the (split) salads were pretty small. The po' boys were tasty, and the oysters were fresh and perfectly fried. My friends and I would come here almost every Wednesdays for cheap Wells drinks (Wells Wednesday). The prices would alternate between $1 & $2 depending on the hour, so we would come here at 11pm for peak hour and $1 drinks. Their Wells selection includes rum, tequila, vodka, (and I think gin?) with a choice of orange juice, soda, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, or ginger beer (+$2) for mix-in. Our main go-tos were vodka cranberries and tequila sunrises. The bartenders are all pretty heavy handed, so make sure to mix the drinks well!Out of all of the bars on The Ave, Finn's is the darkest, loudest, and probably the most crowded. Make sure to arrive early to grab a table. If you want to have a conversation with your friend sitting next to you, you're either going to have to shout or just pretend and smile and nod haha. Finn's is also the only bar with a dance floor so there's usually a lot of action going on.Service is okay. It can be difficult to get the bartender's attention because people just crowd around the bar so you have to be patient. In summary, Finn's is a place for quality over quantity, so don't expect anything too fancy for $1; come here just to get tipsy with friends and mingle with the college crowd.Hopefully Finn's will open up again once corona subsides.Overall: 3/5 for drinks, 3/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere"

Clayton J. "I get excited when I see Hispanic people running a business. They are hardworking, honest and always provide a value in whatever the product is. This place popped up on my radar about a decade ago and I finally had a chance to step in and see if it was a worthy addition to my eatery rotation. Not real big and the lighting is kinda dingy and being a ba, I guess you know who to expect when you show up in the middle of the day for lunch. Lot's of retired people that most likely drink and smoke too much, but God bless 'em, whoever you are, you need a place to go. I sat next to someone that didn't appear too happy to see a black man sit down. So much so that after scowling for about 5 minutes, he paid his tab and left. Soon after 4 women came in, two sisters and a mother. They asked if I could scoot down to make room for them. Trust me, there was room, but I guess when you play pull tabs, you need the maximum elbow room allowed. My favorite part was after getting a fistful of pull tabs, the nicotine pimp got 'em and they all had to go outside and smoke. The same woman who asked me to move, whispered to the waitress, "Make sure he doesn't take our pulltabs". I was seriously tempted to tell them to move to another area, ignorant wenches!I ordered the burger dip. I love a good burger dip and feel it should be a staple on over burger menu, but it's often overlooked. When it came, it was cooked to perfection, even the bun was grilled golden brown. The fries were hot, crips and appeared to be cut in house. There was one small blip, but I'll let it slide The sandwich had grilled onion, and I hate grilled onions and I don't think that was called out on the menu, because I would have said hold the onions. A dip is simple, meat, bread and dip, I'll accept a cheese, but never request it, but anything else is just too much. The sandwich was good, would have been great without the onion. The price was beyond fair because I guess it's $2 off any burger on a Tuesday. The food was good and I'll certainly circle back to try other items The service was a bit slow, but I heard someone comment there are normally more than one person working the floor. I think the girl could have hustled a little more, but when you got many hours ahead of you, I guess you figure, 'What's the rush" Plus, most people that drink during the middle of the day aren't in a rush. Me, I just came to sample the food, then I need to get down the road and the slow service actually prevented me from making another planned stop.I know bars are dim, but the lighting in here was really bad, They either need a different temperature bulb or more bulbs, because it just didn't feel comfortable to me inside. My overall experience was about a 2.5 to 3, but I'm giving this place a 4. If there had been another server, I think my experience would have been much improved, and I can't say enough about the overall value of what I got for my money. I would certainly come back here for a burger before going anywhere else. It's hard to mess up a burger, but this was a quality burger basket for a very fair price."

Scan a QR code on the table to order food and walk up to the bar to order drinks. Expensive tacos but I guess you're somewhat paying for the ambiance of a rooftop. The drinks were also expensive and tiny. Rooftop isn't anything crazy though, the edge seating is usually full and there aren't views obviously.Tuti Fruti - pink slush that's really strong. My friends got the last Tuti Fruti so I couldn't order it, but we ended up swapping because they liked my Caribbean Rum better. Tangy, vodka drink.Caribbean Rum - blue slush that was also pretty strong but my friends thought it tasted better and less alcoholic than the Tuti Fruti. I thought the opposite. The rum was sweeter than the vodka while still being tangy.Tacos Al Pastor - these weren't double tortilla and at the price point, they were pretty small and unfilling. Shredded pineapple on top was nice and tangy, but doesn't make up for the entire taco. Radishes on the side were extremely bland, lacking flavor altogether. Taco Quesabirria - this doesn't come with consome you have to order it separately for extra which I'm not as used to, especially because the consome itself seems like too much for one quesabirria. I would expect the tacos to be the size of this quesabirria given their price points. Chips and Salsa and Guac - we got multiple orders of chips with salsa and guac and the chips were alright. While they seem to be made in house, they weren't double fried or anything special. Salsa and guacamole were pretty standard. Nice party item to share and chat with, probably better than the actual entrees.Choncho's Churros - pretty good churros! Each order is three fairly sized churros coated well in cinnamon dust. Honestly the only thing I'd come back, but not something that makes it worth going out of my way for."

The beer is a plenty, but I've found that not always the coldest beer I've ever drank; but maybe this is the temperature beer is supposed to be serviced. The décor has large high ceilings, plenty of tables and couches that are spread out from 4 tops to large tables that can take a dozen or more. I like the hard woods and the vintage furniture that is made for comfort and gives you a hanging out at someone's house feel. It's easy to get a flight of beers and then just sit and chat and let time go by.There's a second room that's doubles the floor space; I can see where this is a great place to meet up with a large group of friends or have a birthday party where you can do some serious beer drinking as the place is huge that can easily accommodate large groups comfortably. Don't expect to be find a meal here even though it's called a "pub" as the only food seems to be popcorn and maybe some other snack foods. That said, there's other places to carry in a meal that are just next door our you can drink and then walk to a restaurant and eat before or after frequenting Beveridge Place Pub.As to service, I've come back a few times and realized this really is a locals pub that is tailored to repeat customers that come in day in and day out. I have found in my experiences that being a repeat customer seems to have dividends related to bar service. As an example, I was sitting at the bar with my wife and she was told to get into a long line queued half way to the front door for a beer where the couple of guys next to us were served refills were they sat at the bar.
