Service was significantly better than splash, drinks were marginally better, and food was on the same level where it's good for a hotel. More upscale than splash

Some may find this restaurant odd because it shares the same floor space but in its own room with Cosmos, they share the same menu, same bar, same bathrooms, and same staffs ... etc. You can almost enter from its sister restaurant and request a quiet room and that's where you would end up. No complaint whatsoever and you will enjoy the quaint and quiet ambiance.

Not sure why Polaris has such mixed reviews. This place one of my go to lunch spots after studying in the Bellevue Club Library or working out. I believe you need to be a Bellevue Club member to eat here which could be a reason for the mixed reviews. Anyway, it's a beautiful, quiet venue that's 75% work lunches with clients. I get great service whenever I'm here and it's a nice little retreat from the faster pace of Bellevue. My favorite dish is the steak frites. The steak has good flavor and the fries have truffle oil on them. What's not to like. I'm pretty sure my glass stayed pretty full while I ate here (not sure why that is so important in other reviews). I'm happy and have been coming here for over 10 years. If it's nice outside sit by the fountain!

Great go to place for lunch and dinner for clients! Summer when outdoor seating is available is fantastic to have a lite lunch and a glass of wine. Great atmosphere and service!

The only reason I gave Polaris two stars is one for the food, it was excellent, and another for the venue, a nice quiet place for dinner. Otherwise I would give it 0 stars. The service is HORRIBLE! Our glasses were empty most the time until we were able to wave our waitress down. We were there for three hours for a two course meal plus dessert. This is not unusual at Polaris, or Splash (the more casual family dinning restaurant in BC) the service is consistently very poor and slow, although the waitstaff is friendly enough. It's surprising to me because they could make so much more money if the service was prompt, in both tips (if our libations were not standing empty for most the time) and in a faster turn around resulting in more patrons. I can tell you that I am done with dining at the Bellevue Club, I'll spend my dining dollars elsewhere.

This is the only restaurant in the Bellevue Athletic Club/Hotel Bellevue open for a full service breakfast. Unfortunately, the service was less than "full" and the food was so-so. Because I was staying in this part of Bellevue and didn't have the cycles to look elsewhere, I experienced Polaris multiple days and had consistently so-so service along with so-so food. Because, it's super hard to screw up breakfast, and screw up service when not busy, perhaps I'm more critical. For a hotel this nice, I'd correct this!

Great place for a business lunch or dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant is classy but relaxed. The service was great, and the food was made with fresh ingredients. I was staying next door at the Hilton, where the restaurant choices are lacking. You can cross over next door if you exit Hilton at Floor 1 and head left. I would definitely come back when I'm in town.

Since I was staying at the hotel, they gave me a $25 voucher for one of their restaurants. I used it to get breakfast here. It was good. Omelete (4): Your standard omelet. You can get it with egg whites or whole eggs. I got whole eggs. Pick a veggie and a meat. Extra is more. I got bacon and tomato. Comes with cheese. It was good. Executed well. Came with crispy potato slices which were actually really good. Service was super nice and attentive (although there was only 1 other table when I came). Decor was upscale. I enjoyed my meal. Pricey if I didn't have the coupon.

Polaris at Bellevue Club surpassed all expectations, creating an extraordinary dining experience. Carlo, the manager, demonstrated exceptional knowledge, ensuring every detail was perfect. Tanya, our server, was not only attentive but genuinely warm. The talented bartenders, Dustin and Carlos, crafted delightful drinks that added a touch of magic to our evening. The Jean-Luc Colombo red wine paired beautifully with the prime rib, making our dinner an exquisite celebration of flavors. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our experience truly special for our thanksgiving day.

Ive been a member of Bellevue Club for a couple years now and this was my first time trying Polaris. Unfortunately the food was terrible. I ordered a burger and it was disgusting. Greasy, undercooked, bun also soaked in grease, no lettuce to speak of. The fries were completely unseasoned; no salt, no other seasoning, zero flavor. The IPA was good, so theres that. I'm not sure what else to say, it was an absolutely awful meal. Won't be eating here again.
