The service is impeccable, everyone is great. If you have a chance to chat with Sarah, ask her about carburetors and for life advice. You'll be better for it.

Pine Tavern is a laid back bar with comfortable ambiance. Don't let the easy going feel fool you, as the cocktail list is loaded with craftiness as well as a great beer selection. I recommend you go hungry because they have some smokey bbq and sides that will appeal to any bbq lover such as brisket, pulled pork, hot brat, mac and cheese, cole slaw, and smoked potato salad. They have a front and a side patio and are dog friendly.

Not sure how this place has so few reviews... Seattle local here and this is place is unpretentious and perfect. Maps on the tables, $6 Bhodies, dog friendly, killer music, and down to earth mixed drinks for the ladies. If you (even slightly) resent what Ballard is turning into, and long to feel like you're drinking somewhere that matters, give this place a try! This was also this was the only spot open during the heatwave. They had a mist going on the patio and brought out bowls of 50/50 ice/water for the dogs. The service is straightforward and honest. Would rate 6/5 if possible.

This is a simple and low key bar in Ballard across from Lagunitas and Shelter. We found parking in the area relatively easy. They currently have inside seating, partial outdoor/partial inside seating, and outdoor seating - many options! We came here to watch a sports game on their TVs on a weeknight. They have local beers on tap for great prices and barbecue food if you're hungry. If the lines/waits are long at nearby breweries, I'd recommend visiting here in the meantime!

Before hosting an event nearby, I saw Pine Tavern and immediately knew I had to stop in here before heading out of Ballard. I'm really never in Ballard so I knew it was (probably) now or never! If you know me, you know I'm a fan of a good dive bar. I wouldn't really classify this a true dive bar but it's very laid back and the atmosphere is super chill. Love the colorful string lights above the bar, too! We sat in the front part of the bar but I could see they had a separate back portion that looked really cool too. Service was super nice. I was hoping to try something off their menu and the bartender let me know they were out of nearly everything, but they did have grilled cheese, so that's what I had! Very simple, but super tasty and fit the vibe for a cold Seattle night. If I was in Ballard regularly, I could definitely see this being a normal hangout for me. Great vibes all around.

This place has got the trifecta: good draft list, competent bartenders and surprisingly decent food!Bar is in two parts, classic booths near the bar, and then more of an open-ish area near kitchen with larger picnic tables.Different than some Ballard bars, good lighting (but not bright), music isn't blaring, chill crowd. Actually yeah, a chill bar would be the perfect way to describe it. I'm a fan and it's a regular in my rotation.

Delicious bbq chicken Mac n cheese bowl, covered outdoor seating with heaters/ fire. Dog friendly. Friendly and attentive servers. Would definitely come back!

We have only been a few times and it has quickly become our favorite bar. Great food & reasonable prices but the cherry on top is the staff! They have managed to make our experience more than amazing every single time. They are friendly and personable and have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure guests are enjoying their evening. Whether they are packed or were the only ones in there, we've gotten the same great level of service! And we get to bring the dog which is just great.
