"QT's menu is simple and to the point, with a focus on tacos, burritos and quesadillas. To me, a shorter menu is a promising sign since it really allows the chefs to hone in on their specialties. I've visited twice, and naturally chose tacos both times, one of which was a chef special. Keep in mind that prices may appear to be relatively high, but they include tax and the servings are generous.[ Visit #1 - Three tacos ($12) ]Given a few meat options, I happily created my own sampler plate: #1: Carne Asada - This is usually a favorite of mine, but due to quite a few tough pieces of gristle still left on the beef, I found it disappointing. Although I could taste the true grilled flavor and appreciated the thinly-sliced beef, I couldn't gnaw through some of its rubbery edges so it sadly turned out to be the least enjoyable of the three. #2: Chicken - I enjoyed the flavorful mix of spices on the chicken. The meat looked a little dry, but to my surprise was actually very lean and tender. This was my top pick!#3: Al Pastor (Pork) - The redness of the pork may be alarming, but it's simply a liberal coating of seasoning. Loved the salty and savory flavors, plus some sweetness from bits of pineapple sprinkled throughout. Each taco was topped with shredded cheese, cool guacamole and fresh pico de gallo. The combination of flavors was on point and the tacos were of substantial size, assembled with care and looked amazing as well.[ Visit #2 - 3 Carnitas tacos, Chef Special ($13) ]These tacos are quite special, indeed! Although some pieces of pork were on the drier side and it could have used a little more seasoning, the creamy guacamole, chopped onion and cucumber brought it all together. I've never had cucumber in a taco before, but it added a nice crunch and additional element of freshness. These were larger than your average street taco and stuffed to the max! The crew on the truck is friendly, charismatic and had my order ready to go just after a couple minutes. One day when the weather was a bit misty, they even set up a canopy for customers to stay dry. A simple, but appreciated gesture! Plus, if you pay in cash, they offer you a free bottled soda which is a $3 value! Thanks to QT for satisfying my everlasting taco cravings!"

I got home and made some organic, Omega 3 enriched scrambled eggs and some nitrate free turkey bacon. Yum? Whatever.Later that day, we decided to go to the new Target in Renton (which I will NOT be reviewing - Target is Target. Amazing how a brand new store looks just like a 15 year old store.) We want a new TV, I needed some white shoe polish (because apparently there isn't a GD pair of Adidas Grand Prix in white with blue stripes for sale on this PLANET), and a few other things. Somewhere between talking myself out of buying the Issac Mizrahi for Target dress (really cute, but you know that shit is going to fall apart in like a week), the husband talking me out of buying the Tommy Boy/Black Sheep double feature DVD, ("It's the same movie." So true, but still Farley and Spade. I love those guys...) and not finding the TV we wanted, I BECAME FAMISHED. WTF? I totally ate! Fucking aromatic Target pretzels, that's what it was. Or that I had yet to consume a single carbohydrate at 4pm? Whatever. HUNGRY.Anyhoo - I had yet to get to the new/old Tacos El Asadero Bus which was formerly on MLK and Graham but had since moved to Rainier in Renton. I really liked the guy who runs it and wanted MORE STEAK RANCHERO NOW. I could actually taste it. We got:2 orders of Steak Ranchero2 Pollo tacos2 Al Pastor tacos2 Al Pastor mulitas1 cheese quesadilla (para el bebe)1 giant bag of radishes1 giant bag of Zanahorias en Escabeche 2 Diet CokesTotal: $26I filled up on radishes and carrots before we got home, but made the decision to eat myself into an uncomfortable stupor anyway. I could DRINK the sauce in the Steak Ranchero. So fucking good...zesty, spicy, hot, sort of sweet. Probably comes from a can, but what the fuck do I care? I don't. I just want to know what the can looks like.Dollar tacos. Delicious dollar tacos. Also, running in the morning = SUPER HUNGRY ALL DAY. Running in the afternoon = sort of nauseous and able to skip dinner."
"I am very pleased with this restaurant and I cannot wait to go back! Being a Mexican from Arizona I am very picky about my Mexican food and I wasn't sure how Washington would be. We ordered the enchiladas with chicken, ground beef, and shredded beef which had 3 different sauces. The flavor of the sauces and the creaminess of the cheese was amazing. I loved the fresh guacamole and sour cream on the side which I put on top of the enchiladas. Next time I'd like to have cheese enchiladas with these sauces because I really loved the cheese and creaminess. The chips and salsa were great too! Hot and fresh chips with yummy chunky salsa. Our server was great, very friendly, and made sure we got everything we needed. Thank you Esteban's! I will be back very soon."
"We came as a party of 2 on Wednesday night at 7:45 PM. We were able to be seated right away, and we enjoyed the view of the bar. We spent our time picking a tequila to try a shot of as we saw a few bottles we did not recognize. We ordered two cocktails-the Chi Le Gusta and the Lychee Guava Mezcalita. Both were wonderful-the Chi Le Gusta is spicy! It came with a roasted jalapeño and was delightfully smoky. I could have had many of these. The Lychee Guava mezcalita was very sweet-a little too sweet for me but still very good.We split the Cochinita Pibil, which was delicious. The slow cooked pork with the flakiness of the deep fried corn tortillas was wonderful. I loved their rice blend that this came with as well.My favorite was the Lasagna Azteca-this was smoky, saucy, savory and hearty. I would order this again in a heartbeat. The flavor and the texture was perfect. We also requested hot sauce. They brought us two made in house-their house made habanero hot sauce packed quite a punch, but I loved it. I felt the heat for awhile but in a good way. Their house red sauce was great too, but the habanero was my favorite. We ended the night with a shot of Insolito Tequila, which we enjoyed at the bar. I loved their flavors and their ambiance-I can't wait to come back!"
"I've been wanting to try this place for awhile because I think it's the only place in Kent with birria tacos (and cheese ones as well). And boy was I pleasantly surprised! The tacos were realllly good and juicy. I also tried their shrimp tacos and they were great as well. I think their drinks (agua frescas) are made from scratch and not the usual powder that you get at most places. And they have a great green sauce! My boyfriend and I have been on the prowl for a good taco place in Kent and I think we found it. They have so many different kinds of tacos here that other restaurants in Kent don't usually offer. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family - even a stranger! Side note: this isn't broadcasted on their yelp page or Facebook page but they have a drive through apparently as well."
"Not sure if I would recommend this place. The pork carnitas that I ordered was way too salty and my husband thought his steak tacos were mediocre at best. It took a while for us to even get water after we placed our order and our waiter wasn't very attentive. Place is nice though and not super loud which we liked."
"Good Mexican can be hard to find near Seattle, but if you're looking at this review, you've found it.We particularly enjoyed the carne asada torta and Al pastor tacos. Track it down!"
"Taco Tuesday at $1.50 a taco when you're working late and need to eat dinner? Aceitunos!Any other day? Maybe a different taco spot. You won't find any lengua or tripa here. Non Tuesday prices or on par with other local taco chains. So maybe opt for a burrito (which look super yummy and I really want to try next).Ordered online and they were quoted ready within 10min. I arrived around the 15min mark and food was ready! When I got home with them, they had held up well. All of them were nicely filled with meats and a proper amount of onions and cilantroAdobada (spicy pork) - tender but with bitterness present from the chili sauce. Might not be for everyoneFish taco - I surprisingly enjoyed this the most. Two smaller pieces of fish, well seasoned, and neither overly fried nor soggyCarne asada - second favorite! Tender and flavored beefCarnitas - I've had betterCrispy beef tacos - pass. Will stick with the soft tacos (or taco bell lol)Salsa was standard (mild - medium spice level) and nothing to write home about"
"The woman who runs this truck is the absolute sweetest. I've been going to Muy Macho for about 10 years at this point and have a hard time going anywhere else. Based on service alone, I've come to love this South Park staple. Onto the food! The food is amazing. I've never tasted something I didn't love here. Part of the magic is the salsa. I challenge you to find a habanero salsa as good at another truck. I savor the last bits from the containers for a catch all spread for my own work sandwiches. If she sold the salsas alone I think she'd make a killing. To the reviewer who is pissy about the owner and the homeless people around the truck? Cool your fucking jets with your contempt for people who have less than you and maybe if you pulled the stick out of your ass you'd get the amazing service I have for the past 10 years."
"This was a great find in Everett! Tucked inside the gas station, they have an extensive menu and delicious breakfast burritos! I had a breakfast burrito with Chorizo, and added Beans & Rice. It was huge, enough for 2 meals. A very friendly couple was running the place. Definitely check this place out!"

Came and grabbed lunch with a few coworkers. I got the carne asada tacos, two of my coworkers got the burritos, and another one got the quesadilla. One of my coworkers already finished half of her quesadilla on the walk back to the office. The carne asada tacos were pretty good and full of meat. The burritos were huge. Maybe I'll try one of those next time. We all enjoyed our food. And the staff were wonderful, very friendly.

This place is relatively close to my church, so it's a quick drive for me to grab lunch on Sundays. Let me just say, I LOVE beef tongue (lengua!). It's soooo goood. For my husband and I, I ordered two beef tongue burritos, and 6 tacos. The total came out to be $23 and some change. The prices have definitely gone up since I last came, but still very delicious! The flavors are good, and you can always get sauces / limes to go with your food. I ordered to go, and it was pretty quick, in and out.Note, this place is CASH ONLY.

Always GREAT service !! Very friendly and super fast. We have always been happy with everything we have ever ordered. Shredded beef anything is excellent!! One evening my order was wrong & he brought me the right order plus the wrong one to take home so my husband could have it for lunch the next day. They are awesome I don't miss eating there.

The first time I had Mexicuban was at an event catered by their catering-only White Center location. It was AMAZING and I was so excited when I found out about the walk in location in Renton. It lived up to the hype and beyond. I headed there with 3 of my friends and we each tried a different cocktail flight. The food was great, we each had something different and we shared chips and salsas that were authentic and had a hot personality to them. I can't wait to go back! I would be a regular here if I didn't live 30 minutes away :)

I gave this place a shot, they have been open for dining inside and outside since Saturday, June 6th with limited capacity. I saw some of their pictures online on Facebook and decided to give them a shot, and i did not regret it.I had the Birria Tacos and cheesy tacos, as well as their shrimp tacos I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND any of these options.Their sauces were really good and spicy for those that can handle the pain which was a plus for me.The owner is very friendly, give them a shot support your local business you won't regret it.

Food is always good but why is it if you order takeout you do not get chips & salsa but if you eat in the restaurant you get them without question.

My most favorite and go-to Mexican food truck in the area. If you haven't tried it yet, you got to cos it is bang for your buck! I have lost count for number of times I have picked up food from here - so good and will definitely keep going back. 1) The service is pretty good even at busier times and the people are very warm and welcoming 2) My recommendations : Street Soft Tacos, Quesadilla, Habanero Wet Burrito
Visit Restaurant Page"Taco drive through. Nothing special. It was pricey for a $4 fish taco. Chicken taco was so basic and was about $3. I tried it and dont think I will be back."
"We had the shrimpEnchiladas and wet burrito. Everything was good! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for some delicious Mexican food. I was irritated that we asked for more chips and they charged $2.99. I've never seen a restaurant charge for chips that they give you while your waiting especially since they didn't say they cost money! They shut bring them to you and they don't even bring you a lot, it's a big bowl and small amount of chips. But whatever so many things are changing in the restaurant business sadly."
"Came here starving after driving off the ferry! I was so happy to find this place off in the corner of a strip mall off the highway. Stuff tried:Enchiladas espinaca: spinach enchiladas which i havent seen on many menus. Great garlicky spinach inside two enchiladas. With the mexican rice and refried beans, a nice meal. Chile relleno: i almost always try this dish whenever i see it on the menu! I asked if i could get this a la carte (not listed as an option on menu) and they were nice enough to accomodate. Version here is pretty solid and the pepper still has a tiny bit of spicy heat! Complimentary tortilla chips were very fresh out of the fryer and were great with excellent salsa! Do yourself a favor and ask for some extra salsa to pour on everything."
"3.5 StarsLove the complimentary Chips & Salsa.Diet Coke ($3.50)Burrito with added Guac ($14.50 + $3)Chile Poblano with Guac ($15)Everything was tasty! Nothing super special or knock-you-out-of-the-park but solid.Really cool interior, has an outside patio."
"Food greatService great Ambiance great Our new place. Sorry big chain restaurants."
"Okay, I will preface this by saying I was raised in San Diego and have lived here for the last 8 years waiting for the Alberto's chain to come up here. Granted, it's Alberto's Jr so it might not be the exact same chain. With that's being said, it's the not the same. The prices are higher, probably because it's in Des Moines - they don't have a kids menu, their salsa are less of a puree texture and more of a spicy watery broth, and the portions leave something to be desired. Definitely not worth it at $10-13 per main item.If you're craving delicious dirty taco shop, head down the street and around the corner to California Burrito. It's open 24 hours. They might not get your order right all the time, but the food, portions, and price are better. If you can though, drive to Renton to Aliberto's. You'll be glad you did."
"When we arrived we were seated promptly. A server came our table and asked if we were ready and we asked them to give us a few minutes. They seemed pretty rude about it. We had ordered some margaritas and we wanted one salted and one with whipped cream, when it came out the salted and whipped cream was all in one and then the server proceeded to blame me and said didn't you want all that and I said no we specifically asked for one with salt and the other one with only whipped cream. She seemed to have an attitude towards us, we really just wanted to add whipped cream to the one that didn't we didn't ask them to remake it. The food was ok. It was all very big portions. I had the chicken mole and it wasn't the typical mole I am used to. It was definitely spicy. We had ordered a cheese quesadilla for my son on the kids menu and it was very hard. The cheese was not very good.Probably the worse thing was when we were leaving they were emptying out their septic tank or something. It was so disgusting and horrible to smell right after eating. I can't imagine anyone having an appetite when smelling that while entering the restaurant."
"The little taco spot opened recently where many other restaurants used to be. hopefully the spot isn't cursed. The Winchells Donut house sign still there, but if you look closely Teto's Cantina's banner is draped from the building. It doesn't look like much, but the tacos are good. You walk up to the window and make your order. From there you can take it to go or eat inside, which there maybe 5 or 6 tables that can seat 4. I got my favorite Beef Birrira tacos. They were great. nicely filled. The limes that accompanied it were a bit hard to squeeze but they added to the flavor.along with tacos you get cups of sauces including one that tasted like an avocado sauce. I also had an Al Pastor taco, which was good, a bit small for the price, but still good.Would recommend if you're in the area and want some Mexi/Mexi style food, over Dicks which is almost next door."
"The service at this location is absolutely hands down 5 star. They learn your name and your preferences very quickly. I eat here about once a week. I have tried most of the things on their huge menu. It is all good standard Mexican Restaurant good. A bit mild for my taste but you can pay a bit extra and ask them for their hot salsa and that makes any dish you put it on delicious. This locations facility is a bit aged but again the staff make up for anything I may comment about the food or ambience. I am a regular for that very reason."
"I've been wanting to go to Bimbos Cantina for a while now. Over the course of time walking up and down Pike the decor for the place caught my eye and I really wanted to make a point to come here.Well it finally happened! Lol! The atmosphere inside is as fun and as quirky as it appeared out on the sidewalk! Lol! Steve and I ducked in here for a small snack. We got a small version of the Bimbos Nachos which were solid. I also got their house Margarita which was enjoyable as well. Service is okay. Kind of so so. Quite a few of the tables were not clean yet new customers seated themselves there anyway and the placing our order and getting our order were a bit slow but it looked like there was only one waitress here. Perhaps there was only one because the restaurant wasn't all that big? I'm not too sure. Anyway the experience here was enjoyable enough and worth considering a return to."
"This restaurant was beside our hotel. So we gave it a try. Went on a Monday night it wasn't busy. We got a table right away. The lady on the front was very welcoming. We waited for a while until she took our order. The food was excellent. I ordered the grilled salmon and it was delicious. Somewhat over priced. My wife ordered the fajitas and it was also tasty. Love the Spanish music they were playing. But a little too loud. Overall it was a satisfying meal."
"We recently had the pleasure of dining at The New Local, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Unlike its predecessor, which I heard was notorious for bar fights and an uninspiring menu, The New Local has transformed into a neighborhood gem. The Bloody Mary was perfectly spiced, and the Chicken Nachos were a generous portion, easily feeding four. The Beer Pretzels were plentiful and delicious. The Chicken and Steak Fajitas were cooked to perfection. Our server, Jhovana, provided great service, making the experience even better. The New Local is a great addition to the neighborhood, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a tasty menu. Highly recommended!"
"Yeah, I don't think so. Two tiny tacos and a giant portion of beans and rice. We're already on Friday Harbor so people know it's gonna be expensive regardless. You might as well charge me more and give me a plate that's actually satisfying. I didn't even like the tacos that much. So much cabbage, it's like a cabbage taco that happens to have a little bit of fish in it. And the fish itself is like half breading. And that fish is dry and the breading was inconsistent. I started drizzling Tapatio over everything. Nice rice, what brand of box was it? I agree with the other reviews that question how this can have a near five star average. Maybe some of their other meats are better, but this fish taco is not it. I haven't been to Friday Harbor in forever. If this is considered one of the better restaurants nowadays then it's not worth the ferry ride."
"After watching just the first Act of FAME, I couldn't sit though another Act and neither could my theater going friends. We were hungry so off to the taco truck in the SAAR's parking lot we figured there's no way it could be nearly as bad as FAME was so we had nothing to lose. Two al pastor and two pollo tacos for me, not bad for $5.00. The pollo was ok, not dry like they can tend to be at other taco buses but the al pastor were tasty and they had some grilled pineapple served in them which added a fresh yet sweet bite to the taco. Add a little of their red salsa and these tacos were pretty delicious, the green salsa was good but too mild for me I enjoyed the hotter red salsa. This really is a bus, with bus seats used at their booths for seats, it was cute and much cleaner than some of the other buses around. If you're ever in the the SAAR's parking lot and craving some tacos stop by the bus and get some for just a $1.25 each."
"Such a fun and cute spot! Met my friend here for HH and to catch up on work and life. Wasn't crowded when we arrived but def filled up as we were leaving. Our server was so cute and always checked in when walking around. I ordered mango habeñero wings and he got ceviche since he just had his ortho visit. Couldn't really eat anything too hard. My wings were tender and very flavorful. Wasn't spicy but that's okay. Drinks were on the stronger side. Will probably be back in the future as it's only a few min away from the office."
"Yummyyyy! I love this family owned restaurant.I got the camarones a la crema, which was a shrimp and mushroom dish soaked in a delicious white cream sauce! The portion was hugeeee!! It is a bit pricey (around $22 for the shrimp dish). But I'm able to pack leftovers home and make it into another meal for the next day!Great vibes and fantastic service! Will be back again."
"I ordered the #20 and enjoyed it. It was nicely packaged and a lot of food. It came with a chili rellano, pork tamale, shredded beef enchilada, rice and beans.Chili rellano was good, very cheesy if that's what you like. Pork tamale was good the pork was nice and tender. I'm not a big fan of shredded beef and would like to try the regular beef next time. :)"
"Finally had a chance to try this taco place. It was easy to find (for some reason I was looking for a bus but it is an actual restaurant). Staff gets 5 stars for excellent service - no eye rolling or communication breakdown. Got my 3 orders right. The pork tacos were ok but the steak tacos were really good. After I ordered I saw that they had ceviche tacos - will be back to try these along with the tortas and horchata. The tacos were $1.10 each! Co-workers gave it a thumbs up."
"My girlfriend and I stopped into Toreros for a light bite and slurps.Free parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment.Toreros offers bar seating as well as a family dining area. We opted to sit in the bar. We snacked on complimentary chips and salsa while looking over the menu.My girlfriend had a Mac & Jack for $7.75 and I had a Negra Modelo for $7.We shared the Ceviche for $18.50: lime marinated shrimp, onions, cilantro, tomato, cucumber and avocado served with tostada shells. We both enjoyed this fresh and light appetizer.Service was friendly and efficient.Overall, if I lived in Renton, Toreros would be part of my dining rotation."
"I don't usually head over to North of Seattle (unless for work or dog stuff) but I was in the area...for dog stuff. I love this place. The couple was super sweet about my order of Carne Asada Fries and tacos. He made sure to get it right as I did want the guac and sour cream on the side for later consumption. The spot is also attached to a liquor/specialty beer store so I did hop on over there to grab a drink. This spot asked me what kinda car and where I was parked as to bring my food to my car (still COVID times). SAFE AND SMART! Staff has always been friendly, genuine, and kind as this was my 2nd visit there. Hope they always stay busy 7 days a week (and get that love all week not just taco Tuesday...lol). Can't wait to go back!"
"Elote, mangonada and did I say elote??I thought nobody in the WA can beat the Roasted corn man, but after he told me his friend runs one near beacon hill, I used my trusty yelp app and found there was one right next to the VA which is a bonus!!!$3 a cup or cob and they have everything from takis chips, to grasshoppers!!!"
"Huge portions, but very little flavor. I drive past this place every day and finally got the chance to try it! I got the Mexicana burger, al pastor tacos, and steak tacos. All three of these lacked seasoning... so disappointing! I love to support local businesses and eat at food trucks, but I definitely felt like I wasted my money on this one."
