THANK GOD FOR THE CITY OPENING UP! A couple friends and I decided to grab grub and play pool. So we came here. Literally reminds me of the bar I work at- welcoming and a bit rough on the edges (in the BEST way). The energy is the perfect definition of a community dive bar. Prisha was our server/bartender, and not only is she cute in the face, but super welcoming and accommodating. It's been a while since I tried a new spot since the city opened, and I don't regret my choice at all. Come say hi to her! Because from bartender to bartender, she'll make you feel at home!

Relaxed casual atmosphere with good food and strong drinks. Good place to catch up with friends, play pool, and shoot darts.

Waited multiple times on service. Each time, an excuse was made that they are busy. Each time I saw the bar tenders hanging out with tables. Food was ok. Service was abysmal. Sucks cause I really wanted to like this place.

I had myordered the Monday night special Spaghetti and it was disgusting. Tasted like a manwich with noodles. Had to give it to our dogs.

I'm a little tardy with this review. I've been a little crazy busy of late. In early November my daughter Tawnya and her husband Jon were in town from Wichita, Kansas for a few vacation days. My mission before they arrived was to find us a good place to hangout with good eats, drinks and pool tables, hopefully in Kent or nearby. Hmmm... I don't get out that much lately, if so it's work related. Yet, I'm the social media community expert guy, so I should know of such places. Right?I scoured the net and of course made a good run through Yelp. I narrowed my search down to 4 possible places and gave each a call. When I talked to Meeker Street Bar & Grill they were by far the best tele-voice. I'm not sure what his name was but after I ran the itinerary past him he gives me a friendly chuckle and replies, "This would be that place!" Cool, I respond, see you in about an hour.Long story short, it was a great choice. We had a wonderful time and (bonus) I discovered another gem in my south end neighborhood that I wasn't aware of... I really enjoyed 'The Works' burger & fries. This place is clean and very comfortable. It's a great place to hangout with family and friends. The service was spot on and friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and I like the atmosphere. They also have ample parking. I'll be back.~ Oh, and I won at pool!

We had a birthday party. The service was great and took care of our party. We got fries and tater toes. Wings were crispy but I don't like the sweet and chilies sauce. The nacho has pretty of cheese and the salsa had a good favor. They have pool tables. Another thing, I got charge for Togo box, .50 cents each. That was interesting.

Safe takeout and great food!We ordered burgers, salmon and their Meeker Street pasta and thought everything was great and their side salads were not the bland iceberg lettuce many places serve. They didn't skimp on the meat in the pasta either and their tots and fries were crispy. If you are worried about cleanliness and safety, they set up a pick-up desk right as you enter with mounted hand sanitizer dispensers on both walls.

Find a greater neighborhood bar. Awesome wings, home cooked rice balls and nice people.
