Madison Books

Great TINY bookshop that puts it's small space to great use. I was really impressed by the variety and quality of the books that take up this shop. Also a handful of cards and gifts too. Currently they are taking orders online and limiting the people inside, but that's all fine and dandy for a great little small business serving its community!

Great little book store! Very helpful staff, always willing to track down a book. The front window has great recommendations and changes frequently. A great store for Madison Park!

Every time I set foot in here, I find a book I've been meaning to read. Well-edited selections and a great excuse to pick them up!

Adorable little bookstore with a ton of selection! There seemed to be just one or two copies of each book which means they can fit a lot of books into a small space. The worker was friendly and we had a lovely chat about books. I look forward to the recommendation she made.

This place is in a great location. If you are ever in the neighborhood at a nearby restaurant, at the park, or enjoying the water, make a stop at Madison Books. The shop itself is small but packs a lot of books in there. The book seller, Stephanie, was so friendly and helpful. I walked away with two books at her recommendation. There is also a selection of nonbook items like notebooks, puzzles, greeting cards, a good place for picking up a quick gift. Definitely take time to support your neighborhood, independent bookstore. I'll be visiting again soon!

I'm a fan of supporting small businesses and being intentional with how/where I spend my money. Through all of the COVID closures and restrictions, I love that the Madison Books team has made it super easy to keep reading through it all. It is so easy to reach the team via email to to request a book and then swing by to pick it up at the store. Even when my book is not in stock, the communication has been great and I've never had to wait long for a book to be ordered. In addition, I love the selection of books they rotate through their window display and front table - I always see a book that piques my interest and lands on my "to read" list.

Well curated book store. Small, but mighty! It is a great place to grab a book you have been waiting to be released, or to go and browse with no agenda, seeing what treasures may be found. Really cute shop and great area to take a stroll. Must go!

Great, super helpful staff who've tried to make shopping at a small local book store easy, even during covid. They necessarily have a small collection just due to the size of the store, but it's quick and easy to order what you want. Even when they've just seen me lingering right outside, they're eager to help you find what you need and make recommendations. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood.
