Lilliwaup Store

Don't miss Lilliwaup. It is essentially a post office and a general store, but also the place to find your world famous "Where the hell is Lillwaup" bumper sticker. The store is well stocked for its size and has almost anything that you may have forgotten to pack.They also sell gas and have a (very) small motel.

So cute. Has just the items I needed. The prices are decent for Lillawaup being slightly removed from civilization. It's really close to the post office and there is gas that you have to pay before you pump inside the store since the pumps are ole school where you can't put your credit card inside.

Was by there today, the employee was asleep in the back....could have carried off the whole store before he woke up. When he did wake up he was rude demanding to know how I got in without the bell going off. (the electronic motion detector looks like it hasn't worked in years.) Shelves were sparsely stocked. Oh yeah watch your head on the north end of the building / sidewalk.....the shingles are falling and are just right to hit you in the head if you are 5'11" or better.I love small town country / general stores.....this place shouldn't be considered to be one of them. It might be a good place to get emergency supplies in case of zombies, the sleeping clerk might slow them down....but there are other stores 10 minutes to the south that are much better for any supplies you need.

I like this place. Everytime I come in the folks working there are really friendly. It's got a great local feel and you won't find a convenience store with a better view. Yes it's a bit old and understocked but it makes up for that in charm and friendliness. Be sure to pick up a bumper sticker!
