"A Speakeasy Omakase! Located secretly inside New Zen Sushi. No signs, no name, not even on google maps. But wow, does Fujiwara-san bring mouthwatering game from the sea! He even makes his own salt!I enjoyed every single dish, and each piece was equally refreshing and delicious. Chef Fuji was a delight to talk to, and is very easy going. I can't wait to go back! Fujiwara-san proudly presents his culinary art on handpicked plates, cups and utensils from his favorite place in Japan. His hometown Okayama, Japan. I love this cute touch! He and his wife run this hidden gem in Renton, and they just opened last month. Make reservations through his IG or text before he gets fully booked out. Omakase price is $150 pp before tax and gratuity. Max of 6 people at the bar. He also sells Kaiseki-don, limited to 3 per day. Eat in only. He doesn't want to rob you of eating his deliciously prepared dish at prime time by letting you take it home in the car.. cause who know how long it'll be sitting in traffic for. Haha We made the 7:00PM reservation on Wednesday, and had great timing leaving Bellevue at 6:30PM. Traffic had died down by then, and they have a private lot for easy pull up parking! Highly recommend. Nom nom nom."
"So I'm not a huge fan of the teriyaki I have tried the orange chicken, grilled chicken, beef and broccoli and the spicy chicken. It's all ok and will satisfy but the sushi was surprisingly really good. My daughter really wanted sushi so I was like ok why not and it was good. Definitely going back for the sushi. I had caterpillar, California rolls."

Service was friendly and welcoming. We were seated in a little corner where we both got booth seating. Food: + hot tea + signature 5 hand roll set - tuna, salmon, shrimp tempura, hamachi, and scallop. My favorite was the hamachi and tuna. They tasted so fresh and were so flavorful! The salmon was good but lacked flavor and the scallop was a bit fishy for me so my husband ate that one. The shrimp was also very tasty and I liked the flavor combo! + chicken karaage appetizer - super tasty and generous portions! + matcha crepe cake - a nice way to finish off the meal! Overall, a great hand roll spot with fresh fish and tasty options! Would definitely be happy to come again for sushi date night!"
"This fast became my favorite Teriyaki place. All the entree's we have tried have been fantastic. I asked for a upgrade from steamed rice to fried rice and even though it was $4.00 it was well worth it. They gave me an entree sized dish of very very good fried rice. All the portions are very generous and good service."
"Not the best Teriyaki in town, in fact only worth about 3 stars, but for the price you pay $3.99, you really really can't complaint. Plus they have super yummy udon! It doesn't have much in it, other than great flavor, noodles, crunch and shrimps.... but delicious!Oh and free delivery."
"Had lunch at I Luv Teriyaki a couple days ago. The food was delicious, as always. The consistency over a number of years of frequenting this place -- its impressive. Also, as I sat at a table, a man who was there to pick up a to-go order announced in a loud voice to the packed restaurant (on a Monday!) that the owners deserve a round of applause. And the customers all obliged! Great place. Great service. Great people. Easily the best teriyaki in the Valley, if not on the East Side."
"Toshi's consistently offers quality food! They are my go-to for teriyaki in the area; I love their beef yakisoba, spicy chicken teriyaki, regular chicken teriyaki, and gyozas. My niece has also enjoyed their burgers. Super good!"
"*Better-late-than-never review for my dining experience in August 2022 :p*My friends visiting from out of town was lucky enough to get a reservation for the 5:30PM seating on a Wednesday night (never had luck myself after many months of trying).Food was memorable, and to me better than all the sushi restaurants I've been to in downtown Seattle. I love that Kaiseki style offers a large variety of ingredients, not just limited to raw fish. It's always fun to try ingredients I've never had or even heard of before. Below is my notes from that evening, and thankfully I jot it down because I definitely can't recall these details now.·Scallop from Hokkaido with uni and sea plant jello ·Flounder 2-ways: sashimi and fin (cooked)·Horse mackerel·King Mackerel with onion sauce and green onion·Shad·langustine with Chinese wine sauce·throat of the seaperch (torched) ·cod roe with monk fish liver·skipjack ·hokkaido uni with Vancouver spot prawn·bluefin tuna from Spain (380 pound tuna, dry aged for 2 weeks)·chutoro·otoro·lobster from Canada and sweet corn from California·miso katsu Miyazaki waygu beef ·uni hand roll from north side of Hokkaido·huge hand roll with sea eelDessert:Mascarpone pudding with mochi and matcha"
"Wow so perhaps the first food in a long time that the first bite has made me want to vomit. second bite just as bad. After realizing how bad it was I return to the counter and just said this was horrible and as I started to walk away they asked if I wanted my money back I did not expect that they would do that but wow that's cool. The gave me my money back. My wife's meal was almost as bad but it didn't make me want to vomit. So my wife were the Mongolian beef and it didn't make me want to vomit it wasn't truly horrible but it really wasn't worth eating either very Bland and sweet. The weird thing was even the plain white rice was sweet who put sugar in white rice that's crazy. This would have been a zero star review but the one redeeming fact was they gave me my money back when I didn't even ask for it. I just wanted to get away from that food.I have eaten at a lot of restaurants both good and bad and I've written some pretty mixed reviews but this is truly the first time the food is made me want to vomit on the very first bike."
"This is my second time trying this place and it's so good! The food is super authentic and there are many options. I love the bento box since it gives you a little bit of everything."

What an amazing hidden gem omaskase spot in downtown Renton! I haven't been Yelping as much since I mainly share my reviews via Instagram, but since I was able to go back a second time, I wanted to share my experience on this platform as well! What everyone has already written is spot on, and I am grateful I was able to share the first meal with my husband and the second with my mom! Everything was amazing, but especially the uni! Sharing photos of tonight's (11/22) dinner for your viewing pleasure. Can't recommend this spot enough! I definitely want to try for their kaisen don soon!

1st thing I have to say is this place is clean! Not fancy but someone dusts every corner of this place which I am a germaphobe so that was a amazing start and says a lot about their restaurant. The food was was really good other than the teriyaki had too much sauce. Recommend to ask for 1/2 the sauce with some on the side. Customer service was great and its conveniently just off the highway.

The quality and quantity of fish to rice ratio was 50/50 which was much more then I expected. We also got multiple appetizers, nothing special but all pretty tasty. The inside is also cute but I wouldn't not bring a group larger than 5.

What kind of establishment earn a 5 star rating? Let me fill you in.Pros:The food (+2 stars)The staff is super friendly (+1 star)The place was super cleanCons: (no change to score)$10+ for teriyaki? Skinny parking lot in downtown Des MoinesTraffic if your trip is during the commuteI will break this down step by step. There were 2 of us and we ordered a LOT. We also ate in. Our food was brought to us HOT in less than 10 minutes. The order:Chicken Katsu:Deep fried crispy goodness with a good cut of chicken before being breaded. Their Katsu sauce is practically a FOOD GROUP!!! It came with a small salad with good sesame dressing and 2 scoops of white rice. I see why reviews mention it. Chicken Fried Rice:The portion was monsterous. The chicken flavor popped instantly and even the veggies weren't soggy. This could have fed 3 easily. We're talking an extra large platter here people. #ShareablePork Yakisoba:I don't like pork. I will give my professional honest opinion. I WOULD EAT THIS. The flavor was out of this world. The whole dish, noodles and all, with that robust Yakisoba sauce made for a truly remarkable dish. The pork wasn't too chewy and didn't taste like it. I may have been fooled if I didn't order it.Egg Rolls:2 medium sized egg rolls, scalding hot, deep fried, and served with sweet and sour sauce. This is a staple to any teriyaki feast. Have a drink handy to put the fire out.General Tso's Chicken:Speaking of fire, WOW. My dining partner didn't find it too spicy. I found once I mixed it all up in its own sauce, it was too much for me. I can't complain though, because even though I don't like spicy, the flavors matched. The chicken was also STILL crispy after being cooked and served with a heaping pile of white rice. This plate was as big as the fried rice. Well done. Snapple iced tea drink:A drink, in a plastic bottle. The soda fountain was brokenThe Damage: $74+OK, pricey to me but seems legit in this area.I thanked the staff and specifically told them this was perfection. I will be stopping in again. If you NEED teriyaki and you are in the area, consider your needs met!

The food here is delicious. My husband has eaten here for about 15 years. The chicken teriyaki is still good. The teriyaki sauce is sweet. The chicken is tender. The other dishes have changed, they dont taste the same as before. The owner is friendly. There is a little wait for pickup though

Husband and I just finished a lil rock climbing in north bend and was hungry after. Lucky to come across this lil family-owned (seems like it at least?) no frills no fuss teriyaki lunch spot and so glad we did! I am a chicken katsu gal and theirs did not disappoint. Came out quick and easy and filled me up! Bento boxes are enjoyable as well! I appreciated that their menu came with pictures hung on the wall. It's always worrying to order something without knowing what you're getting so I loved the extra guidance in my food choosing lol
Visit Restaurant Page"A 'I need to go get groceries today, but I don't want to be hungry going in' staple! Little Tokyo has stuck through thick and thin over the years and there's a reason why- the food is good, the service is prompt and kind, and they've just always been a convenient location (with good-sized portions). As our family grew over the last couple years, the servers are always sweet and accommodating to our nearly two-year-old with high chairs and we discovered the kid's bento is just the right size. I recently had the beef bento. I like it much better than the teriyaki chicken (it's a little on the goopy side for me). Thank you, Little Tokyo! Always a pleasant visit."
"This place has the best/most consistent teriyaki that I've had in the Eastside and Seattle area. I always get the sauce on the side, as it's a little sweet. But I frequent it at least three times a week. There are typically only two people that take the orders at the register and they are both the nicest and sweetest people you'll meet. There seems to be a large following for their sushiI and I've tried it but I am still preferential to the teriyaki. The portions are always very generous. Highly recommend."
"A real gem. I will definitely be back. Food wash fresh and really well prepared. I get nervous with places with a very large menu, that it will all be 'meh.' In a party of four, we had one brisket pho, one veggie pho, one tofu General Tso's and one teriyaki bento. We all loved what we got. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are LARGE. I got a 'regular' size pho and had plenty to take home. Service was great. Restaurant was bright, clean and well lit. Parking is very limited, but a small price to pay considering the overall experience."
"From the outside it does not look like anything special but the good stuff is what is inside. The food was fantastic. We had three orders to go and they were all packed well and just like the restaurant the good stuff was in the bag. Salmon was done perfect, sushi combo was presented very well for a to go order and the chicken was tender and juicy. What I really appreciated was the fact that it was a full meal deal with miso soup and salad along with the entrees. The service was very quick and pleasant. Since I am in the area quite often, this place is now on my lunch radar."
"We ordered chicken teriyaki, spicy chicken teriyaki, shrimp yakisoba, and gyoza. The total was around $34, which is not bad for so much food. They're really generous with the chicken, shrimp and vegetables. The gyoza was delicious and the spicy chicken teriyaki was definitely our favorite but everything was decent for the price. Cute mom and pop shop with an adorable owner."
"I WAS CRAVING TERIYAKI so badly! And didn't really know any good spots around my area since me and my husband just moved here. So we were driving around and found this hidden gem! This place is so neat, organized & clean , once you step in you are immediately greeted by the owners THEY ARE SOOO are super friendly! Their menu is so simple and has great choices, combinations & OG teriyaki go tos! I made a to go order with 2 number T4 our favorite teriyaki orders spicy chicken teriyaki! They were fast , our order was done in 5-10 mins. So we got home and were pleasantly surprised lots of rice , lots of meat , spicy hot & good amount of salad wish they added more salad dressing for the salad but I'm not too worried about it, so far such a great experience I'm happy we stumbled upon here , Delicious order ! Will be back here again."
"This is my favorite casual sushi spot in all of Seattle. The portions and quality to price ratio is insane. I always get the Salmon Lover and Creamy Scallop roll. I've gotten them at least 5 times, and never has the quality been off or the consistency been different. The fish freshness continues to amaze me every time I order. The salmon lover comes with 3 sashimi slices, 8 maki pieces, and 6 nigiri pieces. The scallop roll also has a healthy portion of scallop!"
"I'm not sure why this place isn't better rated. I recently started working nearby and Oto has become one of my go to lunch spots. They have HH pricing during lunch until 5pm I believe where you can literally get a sushi combo with a roll + 6 pieces of nigiri for $19.95. Living in Seattle, the nigiri alone would be $19.95! They have apps and rolls ranging from about $5 up to $15. Then combos for $20. Entree prices all around $15 as well. It feels like a steal. The quality of the fish has all been great as well. I might have a few knocks on what can sometimes feel like rushed service but during lunch hour, I'm also in a rush so haven't really minded. Let's just say they are very efficient and run a brisk in/out business."
"Super love the Beef teriyaki. It's tender and juicy and you get a lot per order. Food was Delicious!!!"
"We picked up our order at Wild Ginger to go after calling in on Saturday at about 1:30. This was a good time to pick up our food because the lunch rush wasn't too busy. We ordered their chicken katsu and their spicy chicken teriyaki. These are our go to's-we have these about twice a month. Their katsu is crispy and the sauce that they use for the spicy chicken teriyaki has a nice kick!We love the dressing that their salad comes with to boot-it is good for both their greens and for their teriyaki. While we have gotten our food to go from them a couple of times, we would love to dine in one of these days. Their quality and their flavors are consistent, and they are conveniently located in downtown Renton."
"Nice size bowls of pho. Got the regular size shrimp pho. Had at least 6 or 8 good sized shrimp along with lots of noodles, onion, and standard basil already torn up inside my soup. Slightly salty, so made sure we didn't add any extra sodium with the exception of sriracha!Husband had the regular vegetable pho. He seemed to like his. Lots if veggies along with noodles.Restaurant was clean. Seemed to have some good customers who enjoyed their lunch. Watching the food come out, the rice & noodle dishes seemed very large orders. Curious what the sushi orders looks like, but didn't see any. If we are back in this area we will probably return!"
"Five stars for ordering to go pho. Like wow. Packaged nicely and easy to assemble at home. Check out my photos to see how I did. Flavor wise. I think maybe if I'd ordered something other than chicken the broth may have been more flavorful but for me, on this order it was good. The accompaniments helped flavor wise. The veggie egg rolls were crispy and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well organized with a nice vibe. Loads of other menu items as well. Looking forward to trying more."
"Had a bit of a wait. Good was good and plentiful. I had the Chicken domburi bowl. Yummy. Casual place with many seating areas."
"Ordered via Uber for 2 a couple days ago. Really great food! Made fresh, fast, generous portions and tasted great.Got the chicken breast teriyaki and the sweet and sour chicken with chicken teriyaki, both come with rice and salad. The combo plate was upgraded to a large size because we didn't know the regular size is already big! My friend and I shared everything, and there were leftovers for the next day. Really good teriyaki sauce. The sweet & sour sauce was also quite tasty; not too sweet, just right. Rice was fresh. The food arrived in 20 minutes after ordering from Uber Eats so that was really fast on their part, too. Would definitely order from here again."
"We decided to give this place a try for dinner and thought it was ok.We got the chicken teriyaki and katsu combo with a side of gyoza and a piece of tempura shrimpThe combo came with the standard rice and salad:The entree overall was very dry. The meat was dry and the rice was dry. Definitely need the sauce. The salad was ok but the sauce for that wasn't the usual sweet light sauce, it was closer to ranch which I didn't like as muchThe gyoza was surprisingly good and a pretty good deal. 5 price for 2.99. it was crispy and fresh. The shrimp was on the pricier side as it was a little small but it was also cooked pretty well.Overall, very standard. Pricing is reasonable, but definitely not the best."
"Yum!! I love this place. Feels like your going to grandmas house the way the nice lady is always checking on you when you eat in.Love their free soup, the teriyaki shrimp and salmon are grilled to perfection and you get like 12 shrimp a good piece of salmon. All the other dishes are winners too. Can't really go wrong here's"
"Such a great spot tucked away next to a parking garage to pick up lunch. There's no seating inside, so you'll have to take your food away. You can order at the counter or there's a self-serve kiosk that you can put an order in yourself too. I tried a nigiri bento and the seared salmon inari. Everything was so delicious and fish tasted super fresh! I'd definitely come back again another time for lunch."
"The Everett Mall food court is one of the worst food courts I have even been to in terms of quality and selection, thankfully this mom and pop Teriyaki spot is the exception! Im a big fan of the Mongolian beef, the flavor is as it should be, quality of food is great and the portions are more than fair for the price. It also comes with a side salad that im a fan of and unlike most Teriyaki spots around they dont skimp on the sauces and actually let you have it bu the bottle.Great place! I hope it stays around for a long time to come!"
"There's so much good teriyaki in the PNW! This is yet another great place for some chicken teriyaki. The weekday lunch special is a very good deal. The chicken was so tender and juicy! The teriyaki sauce was very flavorful. It only took a few minutes to receive my food. The cashier was very friendly. I can't wait to come here again!"
