Jake's Coffee

Jake's is a great early morning spot in u district. It has a casual, cozy vibe. I came here to get a ton of work done and they had ample outlets throughout the space. The chai and biscuit were great. Classic cafe staples. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and saw I was there to work so she quickly gave me the WiFi password. Overall, would come back here again.

I've visited a few times already and can confirm their matcha lattes are great. What's even more amazing are the prices and the portion size that you get for the drink. This place is amazing and seems like a chill place to study in between classes. The owner seems nice and has never been rude to me!

came here after hearing my friends talk about how much they love it and it did not disappoint! i got my usual matcha latte and it was great! the barista is super sweet and the drinks are very inexpensive! lovely atmosphere and a great study spot :) will definitely be coming back

This is a great place to grab a beverage and get some work done. There is a decent amount of seating, free wifi, and outlets along the walls. The windows are big so it's well lighted. I got a white mocha which was strong and delicious. The woman working there was really sweet and seems to have a lot of regulars. Also I love how Jake is a kitty.

Lowkey best coffee of my life. The woman who owns the place is so sweet and "Jake's" is named after her cat :'). Would give it 6 stars if I could, absolutely love

Best coffee in U District. I think I would stop in just to say high to the owner. Love the fun spin on Cheddar bay biscuit's! Highly recommend this coffee shop.

I love this place - such a lowkey and cute coffee shop.Got in on a Saturday morning and it was slow, there were only one person studying inside. The owner/barista was so kind and helpful, and even let us know that the bakeries are made in house, which look freshly baked and delicious (I didn't try any)I tried an iced latte and it was good! Not a coffee snob so cant comment too much but they also had seats and tables inside for working too, not sure about the wifi though. Would def come back :)

My new favorite coffee shop to study at ! It's just a few blocks from my apartment and was so warm I got the horchata hot and it was delicious ! Usually horchatas are too sweet or not sweet enough and I loved this one ! Plus, the lady made it so fast. Got it within 3 minutes of ordering. The lady said she bakes all the goods morning of so my friends and I took some home to enjoy as a late study snack. Overall the spot is comfy and clean with good lighting. It has a homey vibe and my burr didn't hurt after sitting in the seat for 3 hours.

the lady is pretty rude, it's clear that she picks favorites. When my friends and I were ordering, she had a straight facial expression and didn't seem to care much but when customers she recognized came in, she greeted them with bubbly energy and a smile.
