Ichi Teriyaki 8

Spicy chicken wasn't so spicy but it was good. Shrimp tempura was just fried shrimp dropped in a fry basket. combination short ribs and spicy chicken was good. Overall I've had better teriyaki I wouldn't say this was the worst I've ever had but I know it's something that is not the best I ever had.

The teriyaki chicken was great! The food was good, the prices are reasonable, the service was nice. Overall it's not a bad teriyaki chicken joint for the area. There's not much verity up in Lake Tapps and it's nice to have a place like this that isn't just burgers and pizza.

This place is right down the street from us. The foodis ok but the service is down right awful. And I feelit's pretty pricey. When you order or go in it's very stoic and you hardly even get eye contact.

My only comments about this business are about the menu. I ordered takeout and used the menu here on yelp. When the cashier rung me up I mentioned that online the price is $9.69 for the beef. She says oh those are outdated prices. Isn't it a business is responsibility to update their yelp menu? It's kind of false advertising! I sure hope the Mongolian beef is worth $14.99 for one person.

Been to this establishment twice now the first time the people were super friendly, and I ordered the garlic chicken and it was not what I expected, but it was delicious. Decided to head back there today I walked in the place was empty other than one customer which was sitting at the table. I walked up to the counter to place my order, and the lady was ignoring me. Then, in a very irritated tone, the lady behind the counter looks at me from the other end and asked " Do you need help?" Stated that I would like to place an order to which she seemed very annoyed. I ordered the spare ribs, which was OK, but really left something to be desired. The meat was very very fatty and not very flavorful. It was served on a bed of what I believe is cabbage. Not what I expected for a $25 (21.99 + tax) I plan on going again to try something else because I like to support local businesses. My second visit did not leave me inspired to go back.

This is not the fanciest of places, being in a shopping center. We primarily get food to go. The food is very good, and service is fast. We have never had a problem with a meal from here. When we are in the mood for a quick teriyaki fix in the Lake Tapps area, this is where we go.

I've been here at least half a dozen times in the short time that I've been in the city, and this place checks all the boxes for me. It's nearby, the food is reliably good, and service is quick and easy. I get the impression that the people who work here are family who don't take days off, so everyone complaining about the lady not smiling while serving them can step off. The portions are large, and they have rotating daily specials where you can get $1 off different combos. Im boring though, so I always get the pork, which is consistently delicious.My only complaint is that the water tastes like the tap water in Texas, but more often than not I opt to do take out, so that isn't an issue. I'll probably be here another half dozen times before the month is over.

Overpriced! Asked for extra teriyaki sauce and it was old, came out in a clump. Asked for extra salad dressing, got an extra salad, no dressing. The sauce on the chicken tasted like barbecue. Will NEVER go back!

I ordered the teriyaki chicken and a side of gyoza to go. The chicken was juicy and delicious. The serving size was very large, enough for my mom and I and leftovers for lunch tomorrow! I have eaten here before and never been disappointed. I find it funny when people complain about the prices because everything is more expensive than it used to be how do you expect business to stay open if they don't raise their prices. I have no issues paying the prices at Ichi because I enjoy the food!

Fried rice seemed to be like the frozen kind you can buy in a grocery store. Chicken breast "pieces" were just thrown on top, not cooked in. I specifically asked for light cooking oil (the Bonney Lake Ichi always accommodates this for me), & it was like it was soaked in oil. The lady at the counter was not friendly, not really rude, but just didn't seem to care if she had customers, or not. I recommend the Ichi in Bonney Lake though!
