"Great little home made ice cream shop in Lake City. Wide array of ice cream flavors and toppings make for a yummy treat. They even had a cotton candy machine for that topping. You can watch them making ice cream in the glass windowed work area. Nice seating inside and out. Don't forget to pet the bassets if they're visiting."
"The only donut shop in town. BIPOC owned and like to support it when I need sweets for a gathering. If you get there late, you just may miss out on your favorite sweet bite."

This is why we only use dry-burned caramel for that pungent burnt sugar flavor, which requires perfection every step of the way. Organic sugar is cooked low and slow over a copper pot until it's deep amber, then is blended with creamy organic gum-free coconut milk and sea salt. To add that F&J magic, we fold in activated hardwood charcoal and blend with house made cashew milk.

They put half a banana over blueberries and yogurt! It was pretty healthy! Lol if it was me, maybe I would have picked something chocolate-y! Nutella , banana , strawberry.. something along those lines! Haha. Lots of options and many prebuilt ideas / combinations! I love to see how they make it too! It's a fun experience!"
"Great little place where we grabbed drinks and pastries to go with our breakfast sandwiches from The Baked Cafe. It would be great if they were actually combined and not separate businesses as it's quite confusing where to line up, etc. Anyhow, the pastries were good. I think the almond croissant was my favorite of the three we got."
"Exceptional customer service !!!The owner is so friendly that even with the mask on he remembered us. I love trying out new things and I'm glad I did . If you love mixed fruits with jelly and toppings then They sure have many options to choose from . Also, they are pretty considerate of the whole situation and have separated toppings with container and lid for the yogurt/sorbet for others to just grab and add on your own without anyone touching it directly . My husband and I have met him since they opened fusion pho and can't wait to try their Dessert options . We usually just order to go , but the place is pretty clean and had lots of plants which I love . We will definitely come back with friends and family."
"I was so excited to have an ice cream shop open in my neighborhood but to be honest was a little disappointed when I came to Silver Scoop. The space is big but there was a very small selection of flavors of ice cream. I wish they would add more flavors and I would give them another try."
"A scoop with a smile! I love the Main Street USA feel of this ice cream shop! Who could be unhappy here?! Their rotating menu of flavors always offers a fun surprise to your visit. It keeps me from getting stuck in a rut and choosing the same old flavours. Their product is always super fresh, creamy, and full of flavour! The staff is always super kind, patient, and helpful, and the owner is such a joy! Grab a cup or a cone, both are sure to please. I love being able to support a local business like this that is such an integral part of the community!"
"Staple ice cream shop. I'll take Baskin Robbins over cold stone any day. The store looks recently remodeled and it's nicer than ever. Malts and banana royales are my jam but they have all the goods here."
"They have a wide selection of desserts and drinks to choose from. Personally, I thought the gelatos were delicious. Friendly service!"
"Great ice cream! I actually received a complimentary scoop for checking-in but did not realize it until after I had already purchased a scoop! Therefore, I had to have two scoops while driving back to the hotel following my Seattle adventure. The Mint Chocolate Chip and Bremerton Blue ice cream attacked my taste buds in a positive way.The staff were very accommodating, professional and extremely pleasant to chat with. Should I visit the area again, I will visit for sure. Delicious flavors that will satisfy any palate.Highly recommend."
"Better than I expected - really 3 1/2 stars. Prices seemed better than the "big city' places - $6 for 2 med to large fro-yo's! The best flavor was definitely the coffee flavor (which I was surprised by since I don't usually like that flavor. Will most likely come back here."

We go to Lafeens every Friday morning to get my little guy a donut before school. The owner is the nicest guy ever and always greets everyone with a smile. We have gotten blueberry fritters, maple Bigfoot, raspberry bear claws, donut holes and cruellers. Every single donut is great!

All the goodness of Lopez Island Ice Cream WITHOUT the drive to Conway.Even in February, it was nice to stop by for a scoop of local ice cream served in a fresh, handmade waffle cone. The only shame is it's a bit hidden and tucked away. All the better when it comes high season! This stand is a bit tricky to find in the parking lot close to the Camano Island Coffee Roasters.

I'm very picky with my bubble tea and each time i order the Hokkaido here, it is always overwatered. I keep thinking there will be improvement, but it hasnt changed. I have ordered the Taro tea before and i was not happy with the taste. Tastes more like water than taro. My fiance orders the thai tea each time and it at least has that milky sugar taste. It is never overwatered. Unfortunately, it doesnt matter the drink, the bobas always taste stale. I tend to order bubble tea whenever i visit Pho Fusion, but i might just order the thai tea next time and save myself from disappointment. I need to give up on the other flavors i tend to enjoy.

Gonna be a long review, so bear with. You know, I do my best to shop local, support local businesses in the wonderful city of Arlington, I came here twice, first time was ok, limited flavors waffle cone and can't remember what flavor I got but so on. I figured I'll give it another shot, came back again recently with some family members, got a single scoop waffle cone and cookie dough, and another single scoop waffle cone with vanilla, then got a "bowl" single scoop ice cream. In total was about $15 and change with tip, I thought the two waffle cones were ok portion but the bowl was just silly. It was like a KFC side, lid, in size with like a lemon squeezer sized scoop, giving those for reference. I told myself I could get a Ben & Jerry's for less but with more ice cream for what they gave and charged me, Snow Goose Ice Cream knows how to give good portions and I mean it makes this place's portions look like little kid scoops. Limited flavor in ice cream which is quite a downer, I get they change flavors daily or weekly or whatever they state but it'd be nice to have more of a variety of flavor and decent size scoop fulls. Like I mentioned, I look for quality, quantity and price. Personally, it's not gonna be my go to for ice cream. It's ok. Maybe I'll give it a shot again if they take the time to read the reviews and maybe change some things around or what have you. Just my two cents. Hopefully this helps and they'll acknowledge the review.

Easy sidewalk service for ice cream cones and bowls. Great basic flavor and a lot of fresh ones. The summer fresh blackberries make a great treat.

I've been coming here for quite some time. Usually when I'm doing laundry down the street and need to kill time during the "dry cycle". The employees are friendly, and they always have my favorite peanut butter chocolate ice cream!Yesterday when I went in, a little boy dropped the HUGE scoop of ice cream from his sugar cone on the floor, very distraught over it. The scooper behind the bar didn't bat an eyelash, and got a new scoop for him right away. This time, put it in a bowl for him - Dad smiled and thanked her for doing so.I'm happy to bring my daughter here as long as there are caring and compassionate employees like her working here!
Visit Restaurant Page"Shug's has a main location in Pike Place Market, but they recently opened this sibling shop in West Seattle. I am happy that they are here because there is a severe lack of dessert places in this neighborhood! They have scoops of ice cream, but I think the sundaes are the real stars here. I had the Sunday Market Sundae, which has fresh fruit sauce, ice cream of your choice, waffle cookie, whip cream, and a cherry. On the day I visited, the featured fruit was pear.Shug's also has various floats like Creamsicle and Root Beer and sodas like cherry or vanilla. They have some espresso drinks and are working on getting their liquor license. They have some indoor seating so you can enjoy your treats there. The workers (I believe they were the owners) were really nice and helpful during our visit. I would definitely recommend this place to others and I will be going back!"
"So this is a super dark random Mexican shop. It serves different drinks, desserts and a heartier items to fill up your tummy.I suggest you come.here foe the drinks and desserts! So freakin' delicious! Super fresh and they pack the cups fool of goodness. The fruits with cream and the tamarind mango drink is so good I'd steal it from a baby if I had to."
"Came in for the cookie monster ice cream. Om Nom Nom! Sadly it wasn't out but luckily they do have it to-go in a little fridge by the counter. Neat-o. Instead I tried the Vegan Carrot Cake. I'm not vegan and I didn't expect to love it but was really curious and wow was this amazing and truly tasted like carrot cake! For my second scoop an ube & green tea mix. I had high hopes.. It didn't quite meet them and I would skip this one, the ube was more creamy and just didn't shine through. My husband ordered a peanut butter fudge scoop and cheesecake scoop. Two of his all time favorites so standards were of course high. The peanut butter one was his favorite and they are generous with the fudge! The peanut butter doesn't overwhelm the flavors either and the balance was delicious. The cheesecake one though was underwhelming, not the greatest but not bad. What I love is that they have unique flavors so its worth coming in often to try them out. Inside there is high top counter seating, a couch by the window and some tables with very cute decor so I came in partially for the vibes, but mostly for the ice cream."
"I will actually make a point of detouring to Kingston and paying an extra $20 bucks to take the ferry back over to Edmonds pretty much anytime I'm in the area, *just* to stop in here and grab a crepe while waiting to board. This place is THAT amazing! There are so many varieties of crepes to choose from, savory or sweet, but I usually go with the Magnifique (provolone, artichoke, sundried tomatoes, artichoke pesto), or the grilled chicken, provolone, spinach and lemon herb vinagrette), both of which are monstrous, and delicious. And if crepes are not your thing for some reason (which would be weird), you can also grab a coffee from the espresso bar, or a massive scoop of one of their eight flavors of ice cream. Sit idle at the ferry port long enough and you will see dozens of people walking around with a crepe, a coffee, or a cone, and you will quickly find yourself overcome with envy, wondering where they got them. Better hope you have enough time to grab something before the ship begins loading! There isn't much in the way of seating, inside or out, so the grab-and-go business model is pretty much their whole operation. But what an operation it is! If we are their captive audience, waiting to cross the Puget Sound, then I must be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, because I am in love with my captors! J'aime les crepes!"
"This is the only ice cream place that's a stone throw away from the ferry, so look no longer. Ice cream is hand spun, making it extra smooth. Cookies and cream flavor is off the hook! Your choice when it comes to cup, waffle cone, or waffle cup. Seating is limited, so make sure to have a friend get a spot or claim it yourself, otherwise you'll be eating this ice cream in the sun."
"I came in for the first time to drop something off in preparation of our Yelp Elite Experience next week (woohoo!) and couldn't leave empty handed! This cute cafe is located right in Rainier Beach and is black-owned by a mother, Ashanti, and her two daughters. Driving along the busy road, you can't miss the outdoor seating in bright colors which made me so happy just by the sight of it. You walk in and are greeted with decor, indoor seating, and small items for sale. My favorite part was seeing jewelry made by one of her daughters for sale as well as free coloring books drawn by teenagers in the community. Ashanti was so sweet and personable which really makes a difference. I got a scoop of Toffee Coffee, one of their rotating flavors, and it was delicious! I definitely want to come back and try their coffee and other flavors of icecream. I love supporting black-owned businessess and it being woman-owned and family-owned makes it a triple win in my books. Thank you, Ashanti and family, for making such an amazing impact in the community!"
"So delicious!!!!!! Fast and good service! Non dairy options! The elote was yummy!!!!!"
"Really enjoyed their purple rice yogurt drink! We stumbled upon this spot since we saw it was one of the few dessert spots open later into the night. When walking in, they have a kiosk where you can order and pay for your drink. Really cute that they decorated for Halloween! Fun decor. I got their purple rice yogurt drink at 50% sweetness and it was perfect! Love that you can adjust the sweetness. It's not super tart and has a nice creamy texture without being too thick for yogurt. The rice added a nice texture. Overall, really enjoyed and will come back to try their other flavors!"
"We found this quiet ice cream parlor in Tacoma about a 2min drive from the Kaiser hospital. It is locally owned and the owner of the shop served us this day. He was very friendly and accommodating to our flavor preferences. He mixed a few flavors to make our peach, strawberry, banana smoothie that was so refreshing. We also got a waffle cone with a scoop of rocky road and a cake cone with rocky road. The ice cream was creamy and had large slivers of almond rather than small chips. There were several small tables for seating on the inside. They are right off of Sprague Ave. located in the shopping center behind Walgreens. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the shop."
"Great place to grab a quick pick-me-up! Sweet Retreat is a walk-up stand along downtown in Roche Harbor, making it really convenient. We were trying to find flavored Red Bulls, but they didn't have them. Instead, they had plant-based energy drinks that mimic the flavor Red Bulls... They were actually really good! I'd say it gave us just as much of a buzz as a Red Bull would. They've got a pretty large menu as far as drinks AND food goes. We didn't try any of the food, but they've got a ton. Ice cream, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, sandwiches... Not bad for a little walk-up establishment!"
"So tasty with tons of choices. I really enjoyed the cake batter and egg nog froyo. The toppings are endless. Occasionally they have fill your cup for $6... That is a definite take advantage of night. Otherwise you are looking at an easy $10+/cup depending on how glutenoues you are feeling."
"Malak Ice Cream is average at best. There was no information on their website that said where they sourced their ice cream so I assumed it was made by them. I assumed wrong. They sell Cascade Glacier ice cream which I find to be comparable to what you can find at a grocery store. It is $5.99 for one scoop and $8.25 for a double but a double is the same size as a pint of ice cream. They are not baby scoops. There was a small toppings area where you can customize your treat but we did not do that. It had sprinkles, sauces, cookies, etc. I tried the pistachio almond ice cream which was the most adventurous flavor on the menu. It tasted like all the other places selling the same ice cream. Okay. Very artificially pistachio flavored with chucks of nuts. I also tried the pineapple sherbet? It was fine. A good flavor for non dairy. It was very white. The service was good though. The ice cream girl checked on us multiple times to make sure we enjoyed our ice cream. I would say Malak is a good place to eat ice cream if you don't want buy ice cream at the grocery store. I would say it isn't good if you are a ice cream snob or enjoy fun unique flavors."
"Long overdue Yelp post for Sweet Alchemy and totally late to the premium, small batch ice cream party. There are three locations: University District (original site on the Ave open since 2016), Capitol Hill at Chophouse Row , and Ballard along Market. And of course, it's great to support an indie business started by an UW alum!My first visit to the UDistrict site wasn't positive, never been to the CapHill site (still miss the predecessor, Kurt Farm Shop), but definitely love the *Ballard* site, located adjacent to Mighty O doughnuts. Primarily because I have better access to brief free street parking and all the counter staff have been friendly and welcoming. It had been on my radar screen for quite some time due to recommendations from The Homie, Wendy K, and the MKE Yelper. I also learned that if you return a cleaned glass pint jar, you get $1 off a future pint. Another recent visit, I just learned about and started a punch card. In the time frame from 6/30/21 to 10/31/21, I have purchased 20 pints to date. 6 of the 20 pints also were delivered to another business owner in Marysville. My personal favorites are Persian Rose, Dark Chocolate Earl Grey, and Darkside. The Homie enjoys the Sweet Cream and Coffee flavors.Note: there are also flavors available to folks who prefer non dairy or vegan. The organic dairy from Fresh Breeze Organics in Lynden, WA and seasonally sourced ingredients - one can really taste the difference. Sweet Alchemy also promotes sustainability and philanthropy. Fresh cones, cakes, sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, and party packs are also available. I enjoy several other indie ice cream, gelato, soft serve and creameries sites like Molly Moon, Bluebird, Kryse, Nutty Squirrel, et cetera. Sweet Alchemy Ballard is consistently top notch, a standout, and highly recommended!"
"I love this place! It is a locally owned newer ice cream shop with inventive flavors and 8 vegan flavors always available. I am starting love the Woodin Creek area in Woodinville as I'm seeing more and more new small businesses opening here. We were at Bayernmoor Cellars about a block away when I learned that Swanky Scoop custom makes Bayernmoor's ice cream flavors for their wine and ice cream pairings (gotta try one of these wine & ice cream flights as well!). A group of us immediately went to Swanky Scoop for a late evening dessert and we loved our choices.I had great service from the young lady helping me and upon her recommendations, I ended up with a two scoop serving. One flavor I got was the Cookie Monster which is vanilla ice cream with spirulina (natural coloring), chocolate chip cookies and dough, and Oreos. My second scoop was the Coffee Oreo which combines everyone's favorites - coffee and Oreos! Both flavors were spectacular.Swanky Scoop had a constant flow of customers while we were there but they were staffed very well so there wasn't much of a wait. The staff encourages you to try flavors before buying which you don't see very often at ice cream stores. We ate outside since we had 5 of us in our group and it was a clear evening (a bit cold but no rain!). I love the fact they have so many gluten free and vegan options including the cones and the ice cream and they have so many unique flavors that they make right in the store. Swanky rotates their flavors regularly and make small batches which means fresher ice cream and more variety. They also sell custom cakes, shakes, sundaes, etc. A big feature is they are very allergy aware so their products describe any allergens on the flavor labels and they offer a lot of gluten free and dairy free items as a result. Great job Swanky Scoop! You are a true asset to Woodinville and a great example of a locally owned small business doing things right. I will return here with others soon and introduce them to this wonderful place."
"We stopped by Ruston Way after an afternoon at the Museum of Glass and ofc I couldn't pass on a local creamery.* ROASTED BANANAI'm not sure if I got any roasted notes but regardless it was a really good banana flavor. I'm a huge fan when it tastes like the real thing and not artificial laffy taffy banana. I found it comparable to the some of the top ice cream shops in San Francisco.* ALMOND POPPYSEEDTasted just like the name - almond flavor upfront with poppyseed notes coming in after. If you've never had almond flavor just think if the scent of almond extract is what you are tasting.I was honestly surprised there is such a good ice cream shop out this way and I'd recommend a stop here before/after walking along the waterfront."
"Amazing cookies!! Run don't walk!! Get a six pack and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"I thought I was gonna like these cookies more than I had, but they were A-OK. I didn't get Midnight Cookie at midnight, so maybe that was the issue on my end; but rather, I stopped by here in the late afternoon on a Sunday, as this location is a takeout and drive-thru only service. Located in a small business strip right across from Juanita Beach, Midnight Cookie took over a former drive-thru espresso stand. So you can only drive-thru or walk up to get your cookies here. While in the area, I decided to check it out after my friend mentioned how much she enjoyed these cookies. We walked up and I got a box of six cookies, which was a little more than 12 bucks. I ordered a variety: cookies and cream, fruity pebbles, s'more, chocolate chip peanut butter, double chocolate and birthday cake. They're ready for the taking as they make a large batch of each cookie. Additionally, they serve Full Tilt ice cream. When I tried the cookies though, I thought they tasted like it was sitting out all day, like they were older cookies and more dry than expected. I love soft-baked cookies and they didn't really taste as soft or fresh as I had hoped. I dunked them in milk, which helped soften the texture. Overall, if you're lucky to have a cookie here soon after it's baked, I think this is worth checking out, for that soft-baked, outta-the-oven goodness. But sadly, I was not impressed and likely will get my cookie fix elsewhere."
"The Fountain Drive-In in old town Arlington is open for business. We've been here in the past usually for their very generous scoops of ice cream servings for the kids. Today I ordered the Jumbo Burger with cheese (extra $.75) through the drive thru. It was prepared fresh and surprisingly the drive thru line moved reasonably fast. I wolfed down the burger on the drive home and it was yummy. Great double meat, lettuce, tomato, onion and melty cheese. Delish! We love supporting small local businesses so I encourage you guys to try this place when in the area. It's a great stop for some grub on the way to the Darrington/Burlington areas. Thanks for being open during the pandemic, guys! #thankyouthursday"
"I used to only go to Whidberry as they were closer to home and I enjoyed the quiet setting. But now that they're gone I've only got Toppins to go to. They have great flavors, handful of topping selections, and it's always nice and clean. The employees are always nice and welcoming as well. They rotate flavors but I wish they would add more unique flavors. I do miss pistachio."
"My husband picked up some Gelato for us recently at Nutty Squirrel Gelato in Phinney Ridge. He got take out, but they do have a nice outdoor eating area for those who are interested. He said that the employee was super nice and answered all of his questions about the gelato. We thought that it was a great price for the value, amount, and quality of gelato. We each got a medium size cup with 3 flavors each for $6.50 each. The cups were quite large and I felt that they gave us nearly a full serving of each flavor, so it was really a lot of gelato! We split both of our bowls so that we could each try 6 different flavors. My favorite flavor was definitely "The Nutty Squirrel," cute that they have a signature flavor that is named after their shop. It tasted quite peanut-buttery to me, and I am a fan of peanut butter. Other flavors that we tried: *Moroccan Rose - special limited edition flavor just for Mother's Day, so it might not be around much longer, but it was really unique and very good so I recommend trying it if it's still there and if you're hankering to try a new gelato flavor that you've never tried before *Chocolate - delicious, I ate a lot of that flavor*Pistachio - my husband likes this flavor of gelato, so he ate most of that one*Sea Salt Caramel - also one of my husband's favorites, he liked it*Mint Choco-Chip - one of my favorites, it was very deliciousWe are happy with our gelato experience at this shop. My husband has tried every gelato place in Seattle in the past (he loves gelato a lot) and he liked this place. Recommended for a tasty spring treat."
"We were out enjoying drive on a sunny February afternoon. We had an amazing lunch earlier on our drive and thought a coffee would be good. We stopped at the Woodshed. We were greeted warmly and placed our orders. A latte and Dirty ChaiYUM. We both enjoyed our drinks. Totally forgot to take pics but they were smooth, flavorful and satisfying"
"Such a fun shop! The frozen yogurt is a set price, which includes all the toppings you can fit! The pricing is very reasonable and a great deal for the quality and variety of options. The owner, Ken, was incredibly engaging and interesting to talk to. Would absolutely return next time in in town!"
"Honestly I came to pick up one one of the reusable cups because I enjoy collecting boba cups. We decided to also get dinner and conveniently saw YGF Malatang was in this building. Pretty sweet combination if you ask me, drop in this plaza for a hot bowl of malatang and then finish with some dessert in the form of yogurt cubes, yogurt drink, or boba! Large spacious parking lot in the plaza with a few other dining options as well. Boba was actually really solid and is a fantastic option on the eastside. Two tablets to order from and if you input your number, you'll get a text notification when your order is ready.Durian Yogurt Cube - blended with pecans, the durian flavor was not overwhelming which means it's a great introduction to durian for those unfamiliar or uninitiated. Flavor was definitely sweetened, but in a fair amount. I did not care much for the pecans. Melted in mouth and was refreshing, especially after a hot meal.Strawberry Yogurt Cube - blended with lychee jelly and crystal boba. Again, melt in mouth yogurt cube that's amazing after a hot meal like malatang. Sweet with chewy toppings, this is a dessert option good for boba enjoyers.Fresh Milk Green Tea with Boba - very good boba in the sense that it's chewy and sweet. There's actually flavor from well done marination. Only thing that could be better is a bouncier texture, but not necessary for enjoyment. Drink is more on the creamy side than strong tea but the taste of tea is evident."
