Ryan B. "This hot dog stand literally changed my life... and here's how:So myself and two guys from work ended up at King Cobra one night and were standing outside so the two of them could have a smoke. We had had multiple beers and collectively close to a full bottle of Jameson consumed between the three of us, so we were a bit... "Loose." Some even more drunk bimbo-ish woman comes stumbling by toting a hot dog. The following dialogue took place:Me: "HEY! Is that an AWESOME HOT DOG?!!!"Her::" YOU'RE an AWESOME HOT DOG!!"Me: "I'll AWESOME HOT DOG IN YOU'RE EYE!" (i'm aware of the mispelling of "your." but this is an accurate description of the conversation, and in my verbal drunkenness I used the incorrect version of the word. don't question it)I'm not even sure what I meant by that, but the alcohol had completely removed any verbal filter I would normally have (and my sober verbal filter is faulty at best). She proceeded to get drunkenly angry and kick over the sand-filled cigarette/ash tray pot thingy outside of king cobra spilling sand and cigarettes all over the sidewalk. It was then we realized getting one of these hot dogs was a fantastic idea. And where my life got changed is when the man serving the hot dogs asked me:"Would you like cream cheese on that?"I was in such disbelief. As a man who loves cream cheese on most things, I had never thought of this combo. And it was so good (as far as I can remember) I have not had a hot dog without cream cheese since (well, except chili dogs).Thank you sidewalk cream cheese AWESOME HOT DOG Man!"

The menu is very detailed and there's many different Korean corn dogs to choose from.I got the Potato Mozza, which was perfectly crispy and had plenty of potato! The mozzarella did it's cheese pull and we were on our merry way. The perfect mid-day snack while shopping in the area. I would love to come back and try their Tteokbokki or Sodduk :)"

Michael A. "This is a very nice little hot dog spot in the plaza. They have a covered area where you can peacefully find all the fixins, which is a plus. However it would be great if they had even one little table to sit at. I say this because the item I ordered, although DELICIOUS, was difficult to eat without everything sliding off. I would have loved the option to eat it with a fork. They have two very large speakers that play music you can hear a block away (literally). It's cool but they are placed right under where you order so you have to yell. I had the Louisiana Hot Link. It's only a little zesty, but good. Only complaint was that it was hard to eat as the onions kept sliding off. But delicious!"

It checks all the boxes, especially if you're hungry. First time trying cream cheese on my hot dog, and let me tell you, it makes all the difference. I got the spicy dog with cream cheese, onions, and jalapeños. Great flavor -- the sausage tastes just like my favorite brand Evergood from the Bay Area. (If it is the same, he knows what's good!) Friendly and cheery vendor, really makes an effort to chat while he preps your order. Sometimes he'll get so invested in the convo that small mistakes arise or you'll need to repeat your preferences, but I personally don't mind. Support small!"

Jeff N. "My wife and just got back from Lake Stevens' farmers market where Big dogs food truck was at so after we wandered around and checked out the venders displays we decided to give them a try. In all honesty this isn't my first big dog meal but it has been a while and I can't remember what I had then but I do remember it was a good meal then and that was consistent with tonight's order. So my wife ordered the "Wilson" , and I ordered the "Seadog". The hotdogs that you get are a beef dog nice snap when you take a bite it's not a speciality wiener but it is a good foundation, their buns are a hoggy roll while not a traditional hotdog bun I think this allows them to be generous with the add ons. Check out their menu to see what's available I think you'll appreciate the quality ingredients they use my Sea dog was delicious my wife has not eaten her dog so I can't give any info on the "Wilson" uh also just a side note it's time to come up with a new name for that item Russell Wilson isn't on the team anymore. So to sum it up wait time to order wasn't bad and the time to get our order wasn't bad either so if you happen to come across Big Dogs at an event I think you'll be happy getting a " Big Dog ""

At this location, the staff was so nice and accommodating for everything we wanted to eat or drink. Also, this location had a crazy set of donuts and they were a big reason for the 5 star rating. I went with the pocky matcha, ube wafer, and blackberry churro donutsAll were 10/10 donuts and were so good. Tanis L. "I first saw the Happy Lemon bubble waffle in action on YouTube in a video by a duo based in Honolulu. It looked good, but I was uncertain of whether it would be as good in person as it looked on TV. So, I looked up Happy Lemon to see if they had any locations closer to me and found this Edmonds location a few miles from the house. After running 21.84 miles over the past 7 days, I decided to celebrate by trying out the bubble waffle.Arriving around 6:00 p.m. today, Monday 14 August 2023, I placed my order for an original bubble waffle and Tiramisu salted cheese (abbreviated SC on my receipt) at 6:04 p.m. and the workers were on filling it. By 6:12 p.m. I was out the door with my waffle and dipping sauce in hand. The bubbles of the waffle were partially filled with the waffle and partially filled with air. It was light and fluffy and a sweet flavor. The Tiramisu salted cheese was more of a rich flavor, which paired well with the sweetness of the waffle. I found it to be a nice sweet treat for a hot summer evening."

Maria R. "Mochinut and Happy Lemon are one and the same, located in a busy strip mall at the intersection of 220th and Highway 99. I have had a craving for mochinuts for weeks but each time I've stopped by the store was ridiculously busy so I passed--this intensifying my craving over time! Pro tip: if you want to avoid crowds, don't come here after work or on the weekends or even around lunchtime! I stopped by on my way home on a Monday at 2pm. There were thankfully only 2 people ahead of me in line. I noticed that they don't have a sign to indicate what kind of mochinuts they have for the day, but they do post them on social media. It isn't until you get to the front of the line that you see the display right by the cash register. A friendly worker took my order. I chose 1. Ube Snow (ube with coconut flakes) 2. Dirty Matcha (I think this was a mix of matcha powder topped with dark cocoa powder) and 3. Nutella Almond. I also got a half and half chungchun hotdog on a stick. Devoured the hotdog because it was past my lunchtime and enjoyed the gooeyness of the mozzarella half--I don't know how they do it but it was gooey AND not hellishly hot. The temperature was perfect. I also like that they don't overdo it on the sugar coating like other places seem to do. Got home and split each mochinut to share so other family could try. I loved the flavor of each one but the Nutella and Ube Snow were tied for number one. I'm not a fan of matcha unless it's in a drink or an ice cream, so the powder (along with the cocoa powder) wasn't my fav, but it was still tasty. I've been trying to replicate the recipe for mochinuts at home but so far haven't had much luck. The mouthfeel of these donuts is so satisfying. One recommendation I have for the business is that they could post the flavors closer to the beginning of the line so you know what you want to order in advance. Also, I wish they had a dedicated line and mor organization for order pick ups. It gets so busy that no matter what, there is no advantage to ordering ahead of time because you have to wait in line to pick up. Lastly, I didn't get bubble tea this time but the Happy Lemon portion of the business serves it (it's not separate from Mochinut--same cash register). Their bubble tea is good but I have other favorite spots for bubble tea."

I ended up getting the chili + slaw - both chili and slaw have that cafeteria quality, where the chili is more a stew of ground meat with a mild amount of spice, and the slaw is your standard fare. The dog itself had a perfect bite and natural casing, although the size could be bigger. Steamed buns, also reminded me of old school style. To top it off, I also got a chocolate shake which was deliciously malty."

Will L. "In the 7.5 years since I left my last review, things have changed at Shorty's. First of all, they moved. Just a block away, but to a slightly more spacious and less weirdly laid out venue. Second of all, pinball prices dropped. They run about 75 cents a game, with some machines offering quantity discounts (e.g., 5 games for the price of 4). Third, the food and drink are much better, with a variety of dogs being the staple, any of which can be had with veggie dogs. My girlfriend preferred the Chicago Style; I'm partial to the Spicy Pepper. Small selection of draft beers, but an ample supply of mixed drinks, many much cheaper than surrounding venues. I've been to Shorty's more times this year than I have in the past decade. Sure it's a dive bar still, but it's a comfier hang than before, with better food and cheaper pinball."

Libby W. "I've gotten delivery once and take out once. The photos are from my delivery experience. I got a chili cheese dog, jalapeño poppers, and chicken tender basket. Oh, and a vodka lemonade - you can get cocktails delivered via DoorDash! Everything was super good, especially the chili cheese dog. They were really generous with the chili (a full cup of it) and it was delicious. The lemonade is made from scratch and I really enjoyed that, as well - not too sweet. When we did takeout, we each got a sandwich, and we also got a Chicago dog, "chum bucket" w/ tots, and a handful of cocktails. I'd had kind of a bad week and was basically like, I don't even care, let's just get whatever we want even if it's an insane amount of stuff, haha. They do single serving craft cocktails for takeout in little cans, which is pretty cool. And they were SO GOOD (all with very clever nautical-themed names). I think our favorite was the "No Ship Sherlock" seasonal Moscow mule. The Chicago dog was amazing - based on this and my previous chili cheese dog, I can say without hesitation that their hotdogs are 100% 10/10. The "chum bucket" tots were also really good, and again came with a very generous full cup of chili. I hate to say it because everything else was so good, but the sandwiches were pretty disappointing for the price, we both thought. I had a tuna sandwich and my bf had a veggie sandwich. They used fresh, quality ingredients, but both sandwiches were kind of bland, and a lot smaller than we were expecting for $14 apiece. That's the only reason I dropped a star, but aside from that, they are 5 star all the way.So, we would not revisit the sandwiches, but hotdogs and cocktails HELL YES YES YES!! Anything involving the chili is also highly recommended. And although I didn't really go into detail about it, chicken tenders were good, too (there were more in there than what the photo shows) - crispy and well-seasoned, and more than what I was expecting."

Located in the International District, this restaurant offers a unique Korean-style hot dog experience that has been gaining popularity in the US over the last few years.Korean-style hot dogs are different from the traditional American hot dog in that they are coated in rice flour batter, which gives them a crispy texture when fried. The hot dogs are then topped with a variety of delicious and creative toppings, such as cheese, potato, and even squid ink. There are so many options to choose from at Chung Chun Rice Hot Dog, try not to be intimidated or overwelmed. Two popular menu items include the Classic Rice Dog and the Squid Ink Rice Dog. The Classic Rice Dog is a perfect starting point for those new to Korean-style hot dogs. It features a crispy hot dog coated in rice flour batter and topped with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Easy peasy! The Squid Ink Rice Dog, on the other hand, is for the more adventurous diner.
