"First time coming here after the renovation/rebrand from Super Six! My friend and I came for brunch around 10am on a Sunday and there was plenty of seating available. It's open seating now, like the other Marination location downtown! You order food at the counter and give your number -- they text you when the food is ready and you pick it up at a window at the far end of the restaurant. It only took about 5 mins for me to get the text for my chicken and waffles. I've had it before at Super Six, and it really hit the spot. I love the creativity of the HK bubble waffle! But the chicken was somewhat hard to eat-- the crispy texture was a bit tougher to chew than expected and it was a bit dry inside. To order drinks, you have to go separately to the bar. I loved the lychee margarita. The frosé was good as well but a little sweet. The staff is all super duper nice :) we hung out for almost 2 hours eating and drinking. They didn't hurry us at all, and came to clear our plates/drinks multiple times. It started getting more crowded around 11:30 -- I think partially due to the Seahawks game. There are big TVs at the bar for you to watch the game! I'll definitely be back. So glad it's reopened!"
"This is a tiny place where you order your food at the counter and wait. There are a few chairs. The parking is a big challenge unfortunately. I parked over at Taco Bell because the small lot at this multi-office building was full, street parking limited and full, store across the street was very clearly marked that it was for their customers only and would tow. The person that took my order was friendly and answered my questions about the food options. There were about 4 orders ahead of mine. It only took about 10 minutes. They have some Hawaiian items and drinks for sale. The food was delicious! I had kalua pig and shoyu chicken with rice. I will definitely be back!"

Visit Restaurant Page"I was walking by westlake area and decided to explore a little and saw this place. It looks like they recently open but the menu looks interesting so I decided to give it a try.I got the Seahawks burrito which contains crispy salmon as the main protein and then their standard filling of Avocado, tamago, veggies, etc. Good: the burrito itself was good in flavoring and the crispy salmon was crispy and brought a nice texture to the burrito. It also come in a pretty nice togo box. Bad: portion is a little small for the price. The burrito itself was not wrapped properly as it broke apart when you start eating it. Each time I take a layer of the wrapper off, the burrito breaks even more, so you definitely need napkin which defeat the purpose. They are new so hopefully they will work out some of the kinks but I can see this place being a go to place for a grab and go."
"Just poke is super convenient location. However, I found the fish not to be the freshest I've had. They also don't have a whole lot of options for toppings. There are definitely better poke places in Cap Hill, but it satisfies cravings."
"Poke Square has a lot of options and not limited on toppings! I really appreciate this aspect. They're quick and nice. In terms of the flavor, it's a pretty standard poke food and taste. The place itself was clean and small."
"Got to go from this place for a quick Hawaiian meal and the food was good. Preparation of the food was in a reasonable amount of time and the service was great. I did not eat in, but it looks to be a standard take out place."
"I had a Togo order of Hawaiian plate around $35 before taxes. The whole portion is large enough for two. The poke was out, so I have it substituted with Kalbi instead. I like everything in the set. Value 5/5Taste 5/5"
"6.12.2023 I was so excited to see new poke place opened in Redmond. I was sad when Sam Chou was gone in Kirkland location, so I am happy they opened! Parking: it was hard to find parking on the street, so we parked at barbershop, smoke shop parking space. Service was quick because we ordered everything on touch panel and name was called when food was ready. Restaurant is pretty small because they have 4 small tables and long table by the window. I enjoyed salmon poke with sweet soy sauce and musubi! Musubi rice was soft with delicious with sweet sauce. I'll definitely come back!!"
"This was an upbeat location with bamboo booths and a tiki bar as well as an extended menu. There were a number of Hawaiian options along with sushi choices too. The food came out quick and the staff was friendly. The spam musubi ($9.95) and pupu platter ($31.95) were ordered. The musubi consisted of grilled spam slices on rice that was wrapped with nori and topped with an oyster plum sauce. The spam was grilled ideally and paired nicely with the oyster plum sauce because of how much salt was in the spam. I have always wanted to try some type of version of this, and it exceeded my expectations. The pupu platter consisted of two large coconut prawns, lumpia Shanghai, pork gyoza, beef robata, and I believe BBQ pork. The prawns were my favorite as they had a great ratio of breading to prawn and adding the sweet chili sauce helped it even more. The lumpia Shanghai was my least favorite as there was not really much flavor to these eggrolls. Both beef parts were tasty, while the pork gyoza was crispy and needed a little more filing. Overall, it was decent. Will I go back? I would."
"Itadakimasu is an efficient little eatery, with food at 3 to 4 stars, rounded up to 4 stars for cost and portion. Modest and simple in its approach and menu, their success is reasonable food at generous portions and low cost. For a university area restaurant, it's not bad. We arrived at 5:30 or so. They were already inundated with take-out orders and walk-ins for pickups; we were informed of a 45 min wait, to which we agreed. When it passed the 45 min mark, the wait staff offered us a free side - miso soup, salad, etc.The Food:Chicken Katsu and Gyoza combo special for the day, $11 - 4 StarsThe chicken katsu is flavorfully seasoned with a good katsu sauce. The chicken itself is relatively thin, but just thick enough for the chew and texture. It comes with 2 sides, choosing between white/brown rice, soup, salad, French fries. This was good enough that we decided to get 2 more orders to take home.Beef Teriyaki and Tempura combo, $11 - 3 StarsComes with two sides. The flavor of the beef teriyaki is pretty good, though the meat pieces are somewhat thin. The tempura is a huge no-no though. Just get a normal beef teriyaki instead, skip the tempura.Veggie Stir-fry, add prawns, add tofu, $13 - 3 StarsComes with two sides. The flavor of the sauce is pretty good though a tad salty. The added prawns are too cooked. The added tofu has the same ultra-thick coating as the tempura. Ask for non-fried tofu or don't order the tofu. There's an adjacent parking lot, but I suspect it's for Cedars only. We parked on the street instead."
"Pleasantly surprised at this poke shop! I got a 2 fish bowl and if you want another scoop it's $1 more. It comes with all the toppings with no limit or extra charge besides avocado! Other stores charge for a limited amount so it was nice that they asked instead, "what don't you want." They ran out of the flowers, so it would have been nice to know what that tasted like. But I came during Halloween so they gave us gummy bears as a nice little treat. The chalkboard with the menu was very busy and hard to read, so you're better off reading off their menu cards. The restaurant is tiny and no dine in at this time. The poke instead was pretty solid and filled me up. Th sauce was a nice combo of sweet and spicy and either over powered the other. The decor of the place was kind of odd. Star Wars and k-pop seemed to be the reoccurring theme with even life sized characters on display. But did you know the vape shop next door, Star Vape, connects? Sounds like it was a expansion. An odd expansion, but they do make good poke!"

Pleasantly surprised to see Marination in Columbia City! You order at the bar/counter, and you pick it up once the buzzer buzz. The food was delicious and perfect for the warm weather. I loved the Cole slaw and mac salad. I thought the Korean bulgogi and spice goes really well with the more subtle and quiet flavors of the slaw and Mac salad. It was good combination.

I would have never discovered this hidden gem if I didn't chance upon it on a Facebook post. I ordered online (it gives you a range for pickup time - like noon - 6pm, but the owner said that once you pay online, they make the food immediately and should be ready for pickup within 15-20 minutes. The place is small, parking is a challenge, somewhat difficult to locate, but the food is well worth the trouble. Order and take your food to go as there aren't any tables and chairs for dine in. Love the kalua Pig and Shoyu Chicken combo (comes with mac salad and 2 scoops of rice). Both Lomi Salmon and Poke were good, too. Their Guava Cake is very moist and not overly sweet. I wish the Musubi had a thicker slice of Spam and not too much rice. Other than that, I love the food and the owner is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

It was great trying out the sushi burrito. There was a good amount of sushi and it tasted pretty good. I wish there were more options to add into your burrito though without extra cost

I can't believe I haven't try this place till now! They have a variety of protein selection and all the ingredients tasted fresh. This poke spot is supper generous with their portion. The staff is super friendly and patient with my order as I review their lists of options. The quality and quantity of the poke bowl are amazing as well as fair pricing. Definitely would come back and order again!

I like me some Korean fried chicken, kimchi fried rice, and musubis, so I came here to try all three. I couldn't decide between the Garlic Fried Chicken and the Korean Fried Chicken. The guy was very nice, and let me do half and half. The chicken was good, good flavor, but I would've liked it to be more crispy. The musubi and kimchi fried rice were also good. Would come back to try more things if in the area.

I've been meaning to try this place for years. Being from Hawaii, I had to make the trek from Seattle for the Hawaiian plate and DAAAAANG was it worth it. I starved all day so that I could tackle that beast on its own and it was like I stepped back onto the islands during Merrie Monarch. We will 10000%%% be back.
Visit Restaurant Page"We grabbed lunch from here today. We came around 1:30 and there were only a couple of people in line so service was quick. They have a regular size (2 scoops of protein, $13.99) or large size (3 scoops of protein, $15.99) build your own bowl option or preset poke bowls for you to order. We both got the regular size. It comes with your choice of base, white rice, brown rice, mixed greens, or zoodles ($1 more). I got white rice and my fiancé opted for brown. I chose the spicy tuna and the Hawaiian ahi for my proteins. The spicy tuna was cubes of tuna tossed in a spicy sauce while the Hawaiian ahi was more of your traditional ahi poke (had onions and shoyu). For sauces, I got the citrus ponzu and Maui fire. The Maui fire packed a good amount of heat but was delicious. You can get as many mix ins and toppings here as you want which was nice. For mix ins I got cucumber, seaweed strips, and sweet onions. I also added avocado which was $1 more. For toppings I got crab, spicy crab, edamame, roasted corn, and masago. I also got all the crunchy toppings (tempura bits, crispy onion, furikake, togirashi, etc.). Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the roasted corn. I would have preferred just sweet corn since the roasted corn had a strong flavor that didn't really go well with the rest of the bowl (it tastes more like something you would expect in Mexican food). Overall I really enjoyed my poke bowl and was stuffed from the regular sized bowl. The only downsides were some of the rice was a bit mushy and the eco friendly bowls they use caused the rice and toppings to stick to it and have to be scraped off."
"Finally open! Been waiting a year! Just as good as it can get, fresh and delightful. You can customize you bowl just to your liking. It's like a subway for sushi bowls. The ladies working there are fantastic especially for being new and just opened. They were knowledgeable, sweet and friendly. We picked up dinner but it would be a cute spot to have a quick quiet lunch solo."
"I always loved the sushi-ritto concept. Tried the Salmon Sushi-ritto ($13ish). Order at the counter (can choose a sushi-ritto, bowl, or salad format) that they prepare in front of you assembly line style. It was well made and fresh! Wish I could've had a dipping sauce or wasabi on the side.Cutest packaging ever. There was one person working when we went. Ample amount of seating. Located in downtown University Village."
"FOB Poke Bar has a few locations across Seattle and the Eastside with this one in the Belltown area. They have a decent amount of tables and seating inside. You can really customize your bowl here with the variety of bases, mix-ins, proteins, toppings, and sauces that they offer.I got the regular with 2 scoops ($13.99) with tuna and salmon on a base of white rice. They have a decent amount of mix-ins and you can also add unlimited toppings. The poke bowl didn't have a ton of fish (just one small scoop each) but the toppings were enough to make for a good portion. It was flavorful even on top of the sauces that I added. The bowl was very filling and the couple times that I've been to FOB Poke Bar I've left pretty full and satisfied with what I got. I wish they included more fish in the scoops but I guess they make up for it with their abundant toppings."
"This review may as well just be titled Confessions of a Poke Addict. Because, well, poke has become my life this past year. And Just Poke has played a huge role in my obsession. It all started with the Bellingham Just Poke, delivering poke goodness through Uber Eats all last summer (aka 2020, the Summer of Takeout). When I moved to the Eastside I was THRILLED to discover a Just Poke location nearby in Issaquah. Then imagine my delight when I noticed yet another (their newest!) Just Poke in Maple Valley, mere blocks from my parents' house. This, my friends, is a true poke trifecta.Just Poke, I recently learned, is a locally-based mini chain devoted to serving up fresh, tasty poke where you can either order a pre-determined bowl from their menu or (my fave) "Subway-style" where you walk down the line and point to what you'd like. My current go-to is the three-protein bowl, with ahi, spicy ahi and either another dose of ahi *or* creamy scallops. I've tried their seared ahi as well. Then I choose all the toppings and sauces...so many to choose from. From classics like seaweed and furikake to their amazingly delicious crab-with-a-k salad (I usually get an extra scoop), avocado, and crunchy onions. And speaking of sauce...well, theirs are amazing. I love the ginger shoyu and the one with wasabi in it. But I've never had a bad sauce there.Ordering online is easy, too. I can customize my bowl just as I can in the store. And it's always delivered fresh in their signature Just Poke Tiffany-blue bag. Oh and if you're a musabi fan theirs is excellent and a nice snack after you're done gobbling down the poke bowl! Thanks, JP for making 2020 (and now, 2021) a little more delicious."
"I ordered out of this place the large poke bowl and spam musubi. For the large poke bowl, I got the salmon, Hawaiian tuna, and scallops, with all the fixings that usually are featured in a poke bowl in America - crab salad, seaweed salad, cucumbers, corn, and many other toppings. Price for quantity is solid, but the quality was not as great as I had hoped. The major thing in a poke bowl is freshness of the sashimi, and I did not quite see that in here. The salmon cuts were tough, and the tuna and scallops did not taste particularly fresh. The other stuff were good - crab salad and seaweed salad were flavorful and carried the dish. Spam musubi was fairly standard yet filling, a bit on the sweeter side but just the right preparation for me. With many other poke places in the area, I was a little bit underwhelmed by my experience here."
"This is the only location I've ever been to in Washington that is fabulous. The rest are mediocre at best. I've had multiple dishes and all the food always comes out hot, fresh and with great flavor. The portions are huge, reminiscent of places in Hawaii. There's probably enough food for three meals if you get a regular plate and if you get a mini, at least two. The staff is very friendly and the inside dining room is always kept clean. I will come back again and again and recommend this location to everyone I know."
"I had never tried Poke before today, and I am so glad I did. Just Poke at Kent Station just recently opened, but you would never know that from the excellent service and the delicious food. I had the Torched MentaikoSalmon Bowl and my wife had the Shrimp Tempura withTorched Crab Bowl, and both were simply amazing. Both bowls were very flavorful and portions were generous. The staff were very friendly and patiently answered my questions about what I was ordering. The only regret is that I didn't try more of the menu, but I will be going again. Great location in the heart of Kent Station."
"Excellent poke and poke tacos from the Godfather of Poke, Sam Choy. This location in Columbia City is unique and you may see their food truck, parked here. The service is great and ambience is quiet. Definitely a bargain and convenient to South Seattle!"
"My previous visit to Barkada Edmonds was back in 1/19/18 which I gave a two star back then.I revisited this spot over 5.5 years later with The College Friend on 8/15/23. Both she and her friend have this on their routine dining rounds, I figured I should give this another try. Indeed there were improvements observed, so added another star.We got a nearby parking spot on this very hot summer afternoon. We decided to stop by during their happy hour, which was fortuitous for me since items ordered and consumed onsite from 3-5pm is 50% off. I ordered the Kalua Pig with cabbage, this came in a compostable take out box with steamed rice, a scoop of mac salad, and some greens. It was a hefty amount served and I ended up only finishing half of it. I was glad for the cold water in the self serve canteen containers, although the POG slushie looked enticing on the menu. I ended up eating the mac salad later (bit much mayo wise) and the rest of the pork and rice was consumed by The Homie. To be honest, I actually prefer laulau over kalua pig.The College Friend ordered her usual Pork Sisig which came with steamed rice, greens, and spicy chili sauce. She was a bit disappointed though that for the second time there was no purple sweet potato salad available. I would say this is a great bargain when stopping by during happy hour. Have some HH beverages and convo first, then take your conveniently packed food and enjoy it al fresco at one of many parks in Edmonds. Considering how compact the food/drink prep area is, they have decent menu selections, there's something for everyone. It was good to revisit and see that they have found their niche as the northend pioneer. There are also now other Filipino or island plate lunch spots in Lynnwood and Everett."
"I love this chain and this location doesn't disappoint.Giant, well-made, freshly assembled sushi burritos, We did the build your own sushi burrito (range in between $10-15). Good amount of protein and topping options. They are really filling!"
"Takeout reviewIn short There's serious poke competition around here now! You can get a beverage and eat at the bottle shop just across the way. That's what I do. This place is pretty tiny.In long I love having poke down the hill a few miles from me. Now we have this new place is just as good and has a long-enough menu...and it's half a mile from my house. I love it. We got in here during their soft opening, after more than one friend had already tried it and fallen hard for it. As others have noted, the owners are the coolest, nicest people. Evidently they fly in fresh fish every day. Thankfully, the finished product is still reasonably priced. We got two bowls, each with 3 different fish in it. Everything was excellent--tender, no fishy smell, tons of flavor in the seasonings. Lots of shellfish options, which you don't see everywhere. Great flavors in the dipping/topping sauces, including a real kick of heat in the spicy one. We also tried the dried fish, which has plenty of flavor and is probably a little chewier than sheet-style jerky. A little too chewy for me, though I enjoyed a couple pieces before I was sure about that. Poke always, always sounds good. My buddy Matt once taught me that you don't have to bother looking for inexpensive sushi. You can focus on high-end dining when you want sushi if you have good poke places around, which usually cost much less than sushi, and they scratch the same itch. I am so glad this place is here now."
"want some aloha vibe here on the mainland?i decided that i needed a pick me up on this dreary wet super bowl sunday so i bought myself a haupia cinnamon roll and a pineapple scone for my workday treat tomorrow.everything about the place reminded me of being in the oolynesian pacific. lots of favored ingredients and a cheerful place to eat, if/when the sun shows its face. i'll come back for some savory lunch plate options in the future but these take out flavors fit the bill for now."
"Look. I friggin' love this place. I have a handful of dietary restrictions that keep me away from a lot of poke, but after eating similar custom bowls at two different Just Poke locations on four different occasions I can confirm that they don't trigger inflammatory or stomach issues. ALL THE POKE FOR ME FOREVER!"
"I finally made it to Karaage Setsuna, and I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. This is seriously one of the most underrated spots in Seattle, especially if you're looking for Japanese Hawaiian food. My fiance and I went for the curry rice with chicken karaage, so we could try two things at once. It looked unassuming in pictures, but my expectations were quickly blown away. Not only is the chicken crazy juicy, it has incredible flavor from the marinade - specifically sake. The curry and red pickles were also outstanding. It tastes home cooking in the best way possible. We also got a side of macaroni salad, which in my opinion is a great litmus test for Hawaiian food. It was awesome! Ditto for the french fries, which are made using butter and soy sauce. It all gives me a lot of confidence in the rest of the menu, and I'm now trying to figure out when I can make it back here."
"I saw that a Just Poke was under construction in the Northgate plaza right by the escalators of Target. Today I passed by and saw that everything was set up, so I stopped in. Super friendly folks who said they were just starting their soft opening. Interior was nice and clean, portion sizes were good. My bowl tasted very fresh and well seasoned, no complaints! Their grand opening technically isn't until the beginning of next month, but I'm super excited for it! Make sure to come by :)"
"I spotted this food truck once before, but for some reason passed right by it. Ever since that day, I wondered when we'd cross paths again, which eventually happened after a long several months! Before ordering, I browsed some photos on Yelp, which enticed me to order the Rice Bowl with Garlic Fried Chicken ($11) served with garlic rice and slaw. You can also add a serving of lumpia or a fried egg to any order for an additional $2. I was tempted to upgrade my bowl with lumpia, but it already sounded filling enough, so I left it as-is.For rice bowls, they offer a few different meats to choose from, but I was already craving fried chicken and garlic is always a plus. Unfortunately, the chicken did not live up to my expectations. Its dark brown crust indicated that it was overly fried, which was confirmed as I struggled to cut through it. Most pieces were on the drier end and only a few of them were substantially meaty. The chicken was drizzled with a garlic sauce; it had a slight tang to it which actually offset the oiliness of the chicken quite well. On the side were two mounds of rice topped with a delicious garlic crumble. That garlic was SO good... I would sprinkle it on anything! I also loved the slaw, which was crisp and mixed with a perfect coating of cool creamy dressing. Service was very friendly and personable. When I approached the truck, the cashier greeted me with a smile and genuinely thanked me for my support as he handed me my food. Additionally, while my lunch was prepared relatively quickly, I appreciated the clean plating and and neat presentation. Sadly, I believe the chicken just happened to be a miss on this particular day. I'd return again to give the rice bowl another shot with a different type of meat, or perhaps go for their tacos.3.25 stars."
"This is the first time we went here, because two or three weeks ago they were closed due to a family emergency. We ordered loco moco. I honestly liked the food, the crab salad was good and salmon poke. Overall customer service was nice and friendly. We moved to Duvall recently and the owner gave us a free cheesecake dessert, it was so nice of her to do so. We'll definitely come back."
"I'm glad that they open one near me. It's convenient and the food is delicious besides being healthy. This is perfect for quick and easy meal. You can customize your own bowl to your liking. I ordered the Torched Mentaiko Salmon Bowl and my kids both got the build your own bowl.Spicy Salmon, Ahi, Scallops, crab salad.Hawaiian Macaroni Salad. #takeout #poke Quick service and the ambience is inviting."
"Authentic Hawaiian restaurant in an unassuming Georgetown strip mall. The interior is casual, with homey decor and a handful of tables. The menu includes a variety of plate lunches, regional side dishes, breakfast, burgers, and more. There were even a few vegetarian options (including saimin!). You can also buy cake slices from the amazing bakery next door. Place your order at the counter, and your food will be brought to your table. My Two Fried Eggs Over Fried Rice was delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the rice was flavorful. My husband got an order of fried chicken and their Loco Moco. He said the chicken was really dry, but he loved the Loco Moco. The Mac Salad was also outstanding. Overall, a tasty lunch, though I hope they consider switching to recyclable containers; everything is served in styrofoam."
"To the local braddah who started this i wanted to say thank you for serving me up some ono kine grindz. There miso burger never change that it slaps harder than my mom after i got caught cheating on a test. The loco moco might need some small adjustments on da salt level cause some days it hits some days it misses, I'm sure the aunty in the back going by straight feeling. Bulk and knack approved but be ready for 15 mins for made to order food"
