"This is more of a 3.5 star but I'm rounding up because my sister and husband really enjoyed their naan bread hahahaI had to deduct a star because of the wait. This is the first time both my husband and I started playing games because the food was taking too long (~40-45 minutes). It wasn't even busy. The other part was that I wish their menu was more clear. I was hesitant about ordering my dish because the picture just showed 5 pieces of meat with nothing else while other pictures had rice and salad on them. In the end though, the dish came with rice, a salad and some sauces too and it was huge.Food wise:Lamb tika kebab - the meat was good but inconsistently cooked. Certain one was more tender than others but the flavor was good. The ice and salad and sauce was also very good. Really fluffy rice!Garlic naan - not the typical Indian naan bread, more like pizza crust. But it was good, wish there was more garlic though. My sister and husband loved this, I would have like it more if I wasnt craving for regular naan :)Overall, it was good place to try and I hope they improve the wait time because I would totally come back to try other food if it wasn't for the wait"
"Not knowing what to expect, I decided to give this restaurant a chance. I was not disappointed. The food was superb, the service good, and the ambience surprisingly pleasing.Ordering the food was straightforward. The menu was clearly lit on a large screen as was the price per dish. I ordered an assortment of dishes, including gyro wrap, Philly cheesesteak, fries, and of course, the goat and rice. The goat and rice was well prepared and tasted as good as it looked. The beef chapati wrap hit the right spot, and the chicken kebab was so good I would certainly reorder it. The epic fries almost became the star dish for me. They had crispy, crunchy crust on the outside and soft, fluffy insides. Everything was so good I had to write this review to put this place on the map!Cleanliness, friendliness, and phenomenal food are reasons I would keep returning here. My compliments to the staff and chefs."

"The gyro was phenomenal. Saucy, tender, and flavorful. It was definitely a mess though, so make sure you have a boat and extra napkins on hand. The lumpia filling was great, but for a dollar a piece, I would've thought it would be thicker. Maybe I'm just used to being in the East coast with cheaper pieces. I also wish the lumpia was a little darker and crispier. I haven't had halal lumpia though so it was great to finally satisfy that craving. But make sure you get a gyro!"
"I wanted some Indian food and this was in the radar so decided to check it out. This place's focus is on the lunch crowd as they are only open between 11-3pm Monday through Friday. They have pretty quick services.I ordered the vegetarian daily special as well as a side of the spinach and lamb curry. Price to portion ratio was pretty good. Between the two curry, I definitely like the vegetarian one better as it wasn't as salty as the lamb. Although the lamb side seem small, but it was so filling as they packed the container. I wouldn't say this as traditional Indian food I'm use to but it was still decent. Service was quick and the girl who helped me was very nice. Definitely will try their other curries when I'm in the area"
"I was running to and from trying to get my train reservation situated and also catch the train when I felt the need for some food. The staff was super friendly, and the food came out fast. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and appreciated that it has a nice spread of hummus on the pita along with a range of tasty toppings. The chicken was fresh tasting and not over cooked. Good bite for when you're in a rush!"
"I usually wait to try a place more than once before reviewing but the food was so good. I had the gyro because I heard this spot was a hidden gem in the neighborhood, and wow it was amazing and huge! Great flavors, lots of meat, good balance with veggies, and just enough sauce, plus the pita was soft and fresh. Got the greek fries too since I was having a bad day, and it truly hit the spot, the garlic sauce they came with was truly outstanding, not sure if it was tzatziki but it was garlicky and delicious. On top of it, the guy at the register was very nice and prompt. In all, I'm very glad I tried this, especially after the bad day I had."
"SMA5H is a great, local spot to pick up a fantastic burger (truly nothing hits like a halal burger). They have a shared parking lot that can be a little tight and there's a decent amount of seating inside for folks who want to dine in.Chopped Cheese (3.75/5): This was super cheesy and salty, exactly what you want. The only problem was halfway through, there was just way too much bread and it ate a little dry.Supreme Smash (4.25/5): Delicious burger, this would definitely be my go-to item. Amazing crust on the patty and the beef strip was surprisingly crunchy, truly reminiscent of bacon.Sweet Loaded Fries / Smash Fries (3/5): The actual base potato fry was pretty good: fluffy inside and crispy outside. I didn't love the white sauce and the sweet potato fries were way too soft to hold up to all the toppings. Just grab plain fries if you're here."
"I know I rate a lot of things 5 stars, but this place REALLY, REALLY, REALLY deserves it. After a hospital stay, the last thing I felt like doing was cooking. Bananas Grill doesn't do their own delivery, so Postmates it is. When a third party does the delivery, it's often cold and a mess, but NOT AT BANANAS GRILL. They do not stand for that nonsense! Not only was my food hot/warm, but each item that might possibly get gross packed together (tzatziki, feta, falafel, pita) was wrapped up so it was not soggy, wet, or messy. I have never in my life seen food wrapped as carefully and mindfully as Bananas packs it. They also included plenty of napkins and a set of silverware. Who runs this place? Cher? Jesus? Nothing would surprise me at this point. Please notice I haven't even gotten to the food yet. AND THE FOOD IS DIVINE. Like over the top, from portions to pricing, it's all good. We got the Bananas combo, baklava, samboosa, and Greek salad. The combo came with 2 chicken skewers, chicken, rice, gyro meat, 2 dolma, 2 falafel, hummus, 4 pita triangles, a little salad of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes. It's also only 20. There were 2 tzatziki and one honey mustard. Possibly the best dolma I've ever had. The rice was delicious, both types of chicken were moist and tasty, and I hear the gyro meat was good. My 3 yo seemed to like it, too. The hummus was smooth and came with an olive. Pita was warm, soft, and delicious. Falafel was perfectly crisp and tasty. I cannot wait to try more on their menu, or even just order when I want an actual hot meal prepared with care."
"It really doesn't look like much when you look at Shawarma time, but the food hits the spot. Shawarma time seems to be a small chain which is fine, it's described as "Mediterranean grill serving classic plates. Best shawarma in town, as well as Kebabs, Falafel & Hummus, and Manousheh is the big hit."I haven't tried all of those things, but I can confirm the chicken shawarma, the name that may attract you inside is good. The ordering process was alright, on my particular visit they seemed a bit overwhelmed, but they have table service which was nice. The shawarma is wrapped in Saj bread with pickles, tomatoes and roasted garlic sauce. I think they went a bit too much with the pickles and not enough garlic sauce but there was plenty of chicken and it was well wrapped. If you're looking for quick Mediterranean food, then check out Shwarma Time."
"Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - rice comes with the curries which we were very happy with. Wish there was a bit more rice as the curries were super filled to the top of the containerCream Chicken (Speciality) - does contain bones. Very creamy and tender without getting dry as some do if cooked too long. Mutton Rara was absolutely delicious with strong spice flavoring and the mutton was so soft and tender as well. Does contain bone as well, so don't eat it too fast! Garlic Naan was good but compared to the curries, very bland in taste. It worked wonderfully to absorb the curry though! Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Only six tables but very high ceilings so it feels roomy. Smells wonderfully of food and incense but quite warm with the door open (heat wave). Yellow cathode tubes for lighting with no cover Service: 5/5 - super friendly and able to make a few recommendations for us to try. Took the time to explain how different dishes are made and which one to order based on your preference Value for price: 5/5 - very simple shop from the first glance but with such a friendly worker and delicious food, would highly recommend!"
"Love love love this place!! Decor, service, food is all amazingly consistent. We walked in for dinner and had about a 30 minute wait on a Friday night. The wait was worth it. We had the garlic naans with balti gosht (mutton) and Achari chicken paired with raita and salty lassi. All were delicious. Happy eating!"

This is my favorite place for a great steak. As in fabulously presented, thick, juicy, perfectly cooked to preference, keeps my taste buds joyful to the last bite.Maza Grill appears to have an established reputation in the local community, winning culinary excellence and annual best-of awards regularly, and the choice dining location for many folks in the community. There is a large variety of dishes in the menu representing the best of Indian and Pakistani cuisine, and yet I keep gravitating to the ribeye. It is a distance for me to travel here and since I cannot come as often as I would like, I cannot help but have the ribeye. On the rare occasion, a close alternative would be the Namakmandi Lamb Tikka. Flawlessly grilled, paired with the cranberry rice or roasted potatoes. Tummy yummy!Whether for a special occasion or a reward from hard work, this restaurant is THE place to especially satisfy the carnivorous side of you.

This place has been in my bookmarks for a few months. Never got a chance to try it until last week. We stopped here for lunch. To our surprise, they are offering Buffet on all days. Though we were planning for Ala Carte, we changed our plans to try the Buffet. The buffet options were decent. Couple of rice options. Butter Naan, Salads, appetizers, a few veggie curries, fish, chicken and lamb curry, kheer & ice cream for dessert. Chai and lemonade are included in the buffet as well.Tried all the dishes. Best ones were:- Salad options- Lamb curry- The beans & potato vegetables curry- Peas Pulavu- Butter Naan- Tandoori chicken.Naans were fresh made and soft; they offer garlic naan also for the buffet. Really enjoyed the Lamb curry with Pulav! Tandoori chicken was well cooked, tender and had a good flavor with it. That's quite a surprise especially for a buffet. Have to mention the Salad choices - really good. Rarely find that on an Indian buffet. Having said that, some of the curries were too salty. Especially the fish curry and the beans/potato vegetable curry. Other options were decent I would say, nothing stood out. The dessert options good - couple of ice creams & kheer. But the ice cream was completely melted and can be poured to a glass! The most underwhelming factor is what they charge for the buffet. $24 ($22 weekdays) and $12 ($11 weekdays) for 9yrs or younger. They don't have the choices or quality to charge that kind of a money for this buffet! Service was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. They've got a nice ambiance about this place. This review is solely based on the buffet experience. Haven't tried their ala carte yet.

WOW! I had the most amazing lunch from Cafe Zum Zum today!!! I ordered the Vegetarian Daily Special with green lentils and it was SOOOO FLAVORFUL! It was well spiced and had such a nice heat. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Lamb and Spinach Curry and that was also great! My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this place now (and we're not even vegetarian). I'll be coming back soon!!!

We came here to grab lunch #1 and was not impressed at all. We placed the order online and when we came, the food was not ready. They haven't even started the order! Also, the guy was not wearing a mask at all...We got the falafel plate and the arabic sandwich. The falafel plate: this was so bad. For $13, you get rice, 4 piece of falafel, hummus, and sauce. No salad no pita bread. I've been to many meditteranean places and a "plate" is should be a lot more item than this... the falafel was standard, nothing special and the rice wasn't that flavorful. The arabic sandwich -- this was actually pretty good. nice flavor of meat. Again, it's pricy. It was $13 for just the wrap. Nothing else. Most other places, for just the wrap it's less than $10. If it's $13, it would have came with fries or a side of some sort.Overall, this place is too pricy for my taste for standard food. There's definitely other places nearby that has better prices and taste just as good.

Chicken shawarma platter was amazing! $18 but a huge portion definitely can make it into two meals. It came with a side salad pita as well. Rice and chicken were full of flavor and very tender. My partner got the lamb gyro and Greek fries, it was good but mine was better Can't wait to go back.

The burger was awesome! Drinks were great but leaned a little more on the sweet side. We also tried the chicken tender sandwich which was disappointing. The tenders were very thin...it was more like a very flat crusted piece of chicken and not worth $9.80.
Visit Restaurant Page"I decided to check out Gyro Express Mediterranean Grill after work for an early dinner onsite (3/30/23). I was warmly greeted and placed my order for the Mix Grill ($21) with was a ginormous entree. This included chicken, beef, and lamb grilled kebabs atop flavored basmati rice, salad, hummus, pita, and a soda. Easily this is easily a shareable entree. It also held up pretty well in the refrigerator as leftovers, especially the beef and lamb over the chicken. I noticed brisk takeout while I was onsite which kept the three counter staff hopping. Well established with efficient service since 2015.I docked a star for the wimpy forks and not having the opportunity to wipe down the tables between customers, especially when I moved over one booth from a mother with two rambunctious young kids. The kids were standing on the table, crawling over the booths, clawing at the walls - no kidding. Thankfully, entrees are served on a tray in a takeout container so dining onsite gives you an added layer of protection from a sanitary standpoint. Yes, no need to lecture this QC microbiologist and former employee in the restaurant industry - just calling it for what it is.Welcoming staff. Nice selections of menu items for dine-in or takeout. Generous, well priced entrees."
"I stopped by Gyro Hut yesterday and picked up their combo with lamb meat. I wish I had ate yesterday, but other option came up, but over night was still good. I like this place and every once a while I will stop there for gyros."
"We recently ordered to-go from Gyro House. The food was great and taste nice. We ordered Chicken plater, gyro sandwich and gyro platter. The rice were a bit too oily at the bottom and salt could be a little more, but overall a great meal. Going back again soon!"
"The beef and lamb shawarma are delicious. This place serves the real authentic shawarma which is so delicious. The humus and falafel were great too. I am so glad that we have this authentic shawarma place in our area."
"SOOOO good! got the beef skewer lemongrass plate & malayasian tea. expect to wait for your food, it comes out freshly made. the beef skewer is ground, marinated meat meaning every bite is juicy and tender. it might seem a little pricey but it's worth every penny. the location is a dream, you can't get anything like it unless you make a drive further out (even then, i'm not sure i've had something so fresh and tasty). right next to the grocery outlet! this is a dream come true for me"
"I had Gyro Saj bookmarked because of an earlier compelling post from fellow Elite friend, Elizabeth. I set my gps from work in Woodinville for the best route to try Gyro Saj on Seattle's First Hill (12/14/22) via 522W to I-405S to 520W to I-5S and took the Denny/Stewart exit via Boren to Madison, easy peasy. However with the ongoing road construction, finding street parking was not. So I opted to park in an adjacent parking garage and luckily Gyro Saj was right at the corner of Madison and Summit. It was bustling because of lunch rush and broadcasting the second half of a World Cup match on the flat screen. Convenient location to major hospitals and for students from Seattle University and O'Dea High School. I placed an order for a Classic Gyro and baklava. Nice that water or hot tea was also available while dining onsite. My order was prepped with such efficiency, I was able to savor a delicious lunch prior to an eye appointment at the Nordstrom Tower. Very fortuitous and convenient!Their Classic Gyro was prepared with such care - succulent portions of gyro meat, fresh crisp lettuce and tomatoes. I had to pick out the red onions though to prevent onion breath. Deft addition of yogurt sauce was the perfect touch. All of this was wrapped nicely in a soft warmed pita. It was so generously packed that using a fork was useful. The baklava was also a large triangle with tender layers of honey, nuts, and phyllo. It was spot on, fresh and not cloyingly sweet. Terrific find! Definitely recommended!"
"The jerk chicken is good and spicy. I'd order it again. We did not like the texture of the waffle. It reminded me of an almond flour waffle."
"Very solid spot for when your cravings for a quick Indian meal hits. Their mango lassi and rotational soft serve are my personal favorites (love that they have yet to tell me their soft serve machine is broken unlike many places that offer it besides McDonald's). The reason why I can't give it a full 5 stars is due to the portion sizes - which are way too small. I am often left starving after a Kathi roll and almost always get the snack Chana chaat to make it a meal. Overall it's good for a quick tasty lunch if you're in a hurry but you should get more than a Kathi roll because unless you eat like a bird you will be left feeling very hungry."
"A Greek food truck serving the Greater Seattle area with appetizing gyros! For the location of the day, check their social media account @theosgyroseats.-----Roasted Pork Belly Gyro: tomato, onion, tzatziki sauce wrapped in warmed pita, pepperoncini and Greek pico ($13.75).I loved that the pork belly were in large chunks instead of thin slices, and were absolutely juicy and tender. Everything was well-seasoned and the amount of sauce was just perfect. The gyro combo includes a side of fries, small Greek salad, or soup bringing up the cost to $15 or so. I found that the gyro already had a few strips of crispy fries inside. The pita bread was fresh and chewy.-----The staff running the food truck were friendly and swiftly worked on orders."
"Cute little restaurant where the service was amazing!! They gave us samosas on the house to start off and it was so crunchy and perfect. Everyone was so friendly and the restaurant had plenty of seating inside and in the patio area! Bombay tandoori chicken wings: I wish these were spicier but damn were they delicious. Plenty of flavor and cooked to perfection:)) Butter chicken: this dish wasn't very authentic or spicy. Despite getting a 5 level spice I found it still on the blander end. It could use some more butter chicken flavor in it but good quantity and it came with rice! Ended with some kheer and chai, both were excellent. Free refills on the chai and kheer on the house was a cherry on top! Recommend checking this place out if you are in the area:)"
"The beef wrap was everything I could have wanted. It had peppers, onions, and a sauce with great flavor that was slightly sweet and not spicy at all. The bread was really nice, kind of like a roti.I asked for rice on the side. It cost $4, and it was a ton of rice. They included a little salad and a lime with it, too. It was well-cooked, had good flavor, and went great with the beef.I don't need to try any other Somali restaurants. Sahara Cafe is perfect."
"**vegetarian review**Who doesnt like Mamnoon Street. I am yet to meet people who dont appreciate this place. I have been there for many years and tried basically the entire menu. I used to love fleifleih which isnt on the menu anymore. Their Falafal wrap is awesome and very very filling. Their Mujadara is so so good as well - this used to be my goto order at their sister restaurant - anar. Their new special - cant remember the name but has aubergine is really good too. See the trend? everything they make is very well done - so dont think twice!"
"The food is good and it's perfect for the season it was efficient and delicious gotta love boneless"
"Delicious food. Great Service. I love the Iraqi Dishes. The place is so clean and the food is freshly made."
"Relatively new Mediterranean place in Bothell. Absolutely delightful menu. They have got one of the best Shawarmas around. Delicate flavors of the shawarma is incredibly good. Was pretty much impressed by my first visit and visited a few more times to try out their various options.Loved the falafels. Crispy, crunchy but scrumptious. The wraps are really filling. The meats are juicy and tender. Flavors are incredible. Most of their dishes do have generous potion size. It's a $$ place, but the food is value for money. Service is very decent, except the longer wait time for getting the food. Casual ambiance. They do have a few tables to dine in, but most of the orders were take outs including mine. Seen the food served for the dine in customer - it's quite artistically done on some special type of wooden plate/tray. Loved this new place. Hope they will improve the wait time for orders!"
"I have come here a few times with a friend who eats here regularly. I found the salmon to be delicious and I usually order it over a Greek salad. The service by Mindy is always excellent as well as Tina. I'm not sure why the other Yelpers were so hard on the place but I really liked the hamburger (fake cause it's not meat) but I can't remember what they call it. The French fries were so good! I say try it .... you'll like it. Anyone remember that line?"
"This is a recently opened Mediterranean food joint in Mill Creek. They do have another place in Bellevue, and this is there second restaurant. They don't have a proper sign board at the moment. So it might be difficult to spot it. This is located near Sprouts in Mill Creek. They offers platters, sandwiches, burgers, salads, fries, sides and desserts. Surprised to see burritos also on their menu. Surprised to see a lot of vegetarian options on their menu. Usually don't see that on a Mediterranean menu. Tried the Mixed vegetable sandwich and the Chicken Shawarma sandwiches on my last visit. Loved the mixed vegetable sandwich. Made it spicy and really enjoyed the flavor of it. Friends loved the chicken shawarma sandwich as well. It must be really good that they said nice things about it!Very friendly people there. They were keen on engaging in a conversation. Talked about their other place in Bellevue and how they started one here. It's a small place though. Hardly 6-7 tables. Maintained it very well. It's a $$ place. Private Parking lot available. Enjoyed their food and service so far. I would love to go back yo try their platters. Intrigued about the burritos as well. Not the combo I have seen often. Good to have another quality Mediterranean place in Mill Creek area."
"In my quest to try every food court establishment, we stopped by Zuba and were really impressed. Nice employees, yummy food, quick preparation and large servings! At food courts, my usual algorithm is to eat at the place with the shortest line, but I would seek Zuba out next time too regardless of line.We had the Kofta Wrap and the Chicken Gyro Platter. Both were surprisingly large. Well seasoned, super tasty. And the people taking the order and making the food were super helpful and friendly. For a food court dining establishment Zuba is *excellent!*"
"I had a very nice experience here. Was in the area and hungry so of course I had to look for the highest rated place nearby! We tried the gyro plate and a side of falafel. The gyro plate had a generous portion of meat over rice, fresh and tasty Greek salad, tzatziki, and a pita bread. The rice was a little dry but still not bad. The falafel was very good.Service was flawless and friendly, and parking was ample."
"Late to the Aladdin Gyro-Cery party, but after it being recently vetted by The Homie and his good friend, I figured it was time to check it out. Plus this business and adjacent burger joint is open daily from 10am to 2am the next day along University Way (The Ave) in Seattle's University District. It has seating indoors, as well as, covered outdoor sidewalk seating too. Drove there with The Homie on 5/26/24. I asked are you sure you want to eat here since he had just dined here twice recently. I got an emphatic yes. So we ventured out close to 10pm and got nearby street parking. Must of found that sweet spot, because after ordering and finding a table, a very long line had formed at the ordering counter. The line was out the door by the time we were leaving. Good thing about such places is that food turns over fast and frequently. I chose 9A Lamb & Beef Gyro - loaded pita with fresh shredded lettuce, bit of onion, tender slices of meat, and tzaziki sauce. Add most with a fork then polished it off with the pita. Wanted to eat and not wear my gyro. The Homie chose 11B Chicken Shawarma - again another loaded wrap with generous amount of grilled succulent chicken. He had this twice before and can attest that it has been consistent whether eaten at lunch time or late night. He also ordered Aladdin's Fries. I kid you not, it is a large takeout box full of fries which he customized with with beef & lamb gyro meat and garlic sauce. Previously he had also added feta cheese. Definitely shareable. Pro tip: If you pay in cash, you get free Kirkland/Costco bottles of water. They take debit/credit cards at the ordering counter. Grab additional napkins too.Ginormous, straightforward food from a fairly sizeable menu. Reasonably priced and late hours. Perfect for college students or folks wanting a decent late night, no frills meal."
"This was my second time ordering from this restaurant, and the Indian food is very good. I ordered a unique item from this restaurant. I ordered the Nutella Naan bread. I was a bit skeptical initially, because I never heard of it, but the flavor was amazing."
"Yum, such delicious food! We ordered a lamb and a chicken gyro plus a side order of the Greek fries. The portions were so generous and everything was absolutely delectable. I loved how they packaged the sauce on the side. The inside of the restaurant was so clean and our food was well packaged for takeout. We cannot wait to be back!"
