"For a mid-island grocery store, it's about as great as you can ask for. Good selection of liquor, beer, and a wide variety of everything else. Today (Thursday), they were randomly (or maybe not randomly?) selling brisket and bbq ribs to go by the pound, at great prices. The ribs were absolutely delicious and after I ate the four I purchased, I immediately regretted not getting more. Love the Camano Island IGA!"
"This is a very small, packed to the brim store. It's quite randomly stocked. They sell a little bit of everything. The very cool thing is that they make and sell injera for 60 cents a piece. I will definitely be returning to pick some up soon."
"This is a great little convenience store. It has a great selection, it's clean, and the employees are friendly and helpful. The prices are a bit high for a grocery store but that's to be expected from something that's not part of a chain."
"The post office moved out of here right before the remodel and a change in ownership, it moved up the street by the way.Now it's nice and clean with a fresh coat of paint and new sign out front. This has to be one of the very LAST small time convenience store around town. Granted this isn't run by a older couple but it is run with the same small town attitude and kindness you'd only find on TV today. Kids flock to this place for ice cream bars and sodas on hot days or after school. They have a nice sizeable candy selection just like out of Mayberry USA. Grab a cold soda after walking around the beach park or a candy treat after playing at the Library playground. Lucky for us in the area someone was willing to take over this fine cornerstone in this small community and keep things simple. They have opened a small lunch counter/deli in the back, the store smelled a bit greasy but it always looks clean. I'll try the food and get back to everyone."
"Great coop....everytime I walk in, there are new, amazing organic, local and sustainable products. It's come a long way and I always come here first to see what new items and produce they have since I rarely have to shop anywhere else now. It's so packed with carefully chosen staples that weren't there when they first relocated. The staff is helpful and friendly, and theres a little cafe Cool Beans with a coffee/juice bar that serves delicious items that are vegan also. I'm so pleased to finally see a coop in Anacortes, and that I can support such an amazing member owned business."
"cute place. It's small, but has a nice deli counter. Chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, potato samosas, curried chicken salad and even corn dogs. yum! Plus they carry Boar's head meat and make cold and panini sandwiches to order there.Samosas were $1.99 each and empanadas are 4.99 each. But the samosas are big. Two of them can make a pretty satisfying lunch, I suppose three if you're really hungry!"
"I love this little store, it's conveniently located near the high school. Lots of organic options, kombucha, and vegan foods. I have 4 children and 2 parrots that eat a lot of great organic produce and this shop helps make that affordable. I shop here a few times a week and staff is always very friendly. In the spring and summer they sell vegetable starts and berry vines, sometimes roses. I highly recommend this little store. They are a much appreciated asset to the community."
"A medium sized grocery store with anything you need for dinner including a great beer and (especially) wine collection. It's family owned and operated with a bunch of hardworking friendly people!"
"Great having this around the corner. It sure beats walking to the grocery store. Folks are friendly they've got beer, scratch tickets, and made to order sandwiches. Very reasonable prices."
"I was nearby recently and was hoping to get to a fancy grocery store - turns out there's a PCC in Columbia City!! The neighborhood is really growing up and this is such a welcomed addition!Pretty good size store; seems bigger than Burien. Lots of parking in the underground garage, free of change for customers. This location had a very good selection of ready made items (several of which are veggie friendly) also a good selection of bakery items. The curried tofu warp I got was pretty good...definitely overpriced though. Throughout the store they have a great selection of vegetarian/vegan centric products, tons of dried/bulk goods of various kinds, and a well rounded selection of things you'd expect to find in these kinds of stores.Produce department definitely left me wanting more and I had to go to another store to fill in those needs. Overall a very nice selection of produce, but the quality was lacking for a lot of things and others were 2x the price of regular stores so...Overall PCC is a great store and while they won't be my primary store, they definitely have their place!"
"Friendly staff, everything you need and want plus many local items. We love the Whidbey Pies and Whidbey Ice Cream after a nice long day touring around."

This is a cry far from a true grocery store!! Is old and dated and most of the employees that work here are rude and unhelpful. The last time we bought steak from this so called grocery store. It was hard like a rock and couldn't eat it. So we threw it awayPrices aren't that great either and the produce department is horrible. I rather drive 20 minutes and shop at QFC or Hagens than come here

Grew up going here. I'm 22 and have gone here on and off sense I was 10 and still go when I came back from collage. Owners are super friendly and great people. Lots of food and drink selections. Just a great store all around and something I can't picture the community without!

I loved this place, I have been traveling and just dying for healthy food and this hit the spot, a nicely curated selection and high quality unique products, I purchased this Laird superfood cocau non dairy creamer and I am obsessed. The sandwich bar is tasty, offers gluten free and opens at 11. Lastly, I love how a coop smells, herby, spicy, fresh and it really brings back that 90's nostalgia for coops and health food stores before big guys took over the game. Also membership is not required. It's all good. Love.

The local go to store for beer, wine, cigs, drinks, snacks and deli sandwiches. Its a really clean, nice shop and some items are overpriced, but that is to be expected for this type of convenience store.
Visit Restaurant Page"You're probably wondering why I'm rating this place 4 stars. There's a lot more to this place than it looks. First of all, It is locally owned and there are a lot more things to buy here than you think. Unfortunately, I could say very little about the Mexican restaurant and their pink rice except for their exceptional carnitas. Don't eat there as it's really not that good. The produce section is great when they have fresh stuff. I skip when they don't. The produce outside are so cheap. But on sunny days, they get the sun. The carniceria is great! Keep in mind if you chose to buy steaks here, your jaw may be in pain. They are not USDA choice so skip the steak. Everything else is great if you eat all kinds of meat! They even make chorizo and smoke them in here. Their chicken breasts are thinly sliced and the adobada is not bad. There a lot of interesting meats if you're experimental in cooking like me. You'll find cheese in here, too specifically mexican cheese. I love tge fresca and Oaxaca. They come cheap and are great for lasagna or chile relleno.Explore the grain and flour area. They have all kinds of grains and flour from all over the world. I found plantain flour and cassava flour. There are tons of goodies from everywhere. If you like plantain chips, spicy peanuts, you'll find it here. There are tons of ethnic spices and food items. It's convenient if you're needing a special ingredient. The only drawback is there's a slight markup on it. Keep in mind HMart serves nationwide while this place serves the local area. At the freezer area, we discovered Puff Paratha. Great discovery. The bakery is great! Tons of cheap pastries and bread. They have pound cake, bolilo rolls, flan, tres leches, donuts and mexican pastries. You can also order cakes. Neat!Red Square Market:The STAR of the show is the annexed Eastern European deli store. I believe their either Ukranian or Polish. Their deli section is great! This is the place to get authentic Kielbasa, headcheese, mortadella, cured ham, etc. They even let you try samples if you are nice. The kielbasa here are not like your Jenny-Os. They are meatier in taste and leaner. The fridge is chockful of pelmenis, ice cream, dairy and more pastries. I sampled their ice cream and they're delicious and unique. If you dive in deeper in the store, you'll find selection of chocolates, pastries, authentic bottled and canned food items. Yes! They have pate! I don't understand cyrillic but most of it is obvious.Fresh baked bread! In terms of service, both Valley Harvest and the Deli delivers. Don't be put off by its looks. This place is great."
"Good variety of East Asian condiments and goodies. I got a Punjabi mango pickle relish and a red chili garlic chutney. Also sampled a very delicious cookie with salt and sesame sprinkles . When I came in they had only been open about a week so the deli appliances were not up and running just yet but they promise meat skewers; burgers and more. Very friendly proprietor made me feel very welcome. I'm definitely coming back to explore the deli offerings."
"I am going to have to return for some of the food, but the groceries are great. So much variety in a relatively small space. Clean. Helpful. The only reason I am taking off one star is the meat didn't look great. Big selection, but I question the quality and freshness. And that's too bad. With some improvement at the meat counter, this could easily be five stars."
"Only grocery store that was open late when we came (11pm). There were a lot of people trying to buy last minutes items. They have a variety of items. It's a mix between a liquor store and a small grocery store. The wine selection for a small place was pretty good. Same goes for the beers and non alcoholic liquids. They don't have the gallon waters though but liter waters they have. There's also a sandwich shop, not sure what time they open but it was close when we came later in the night. Small mom and pop place but has the necessities."
"For an un-assuming bodega, this place has a TON of grocery options at your disposal. Surprisingly so.The first time I went in here I was shocked at how much space (quite a bit) and items you can find. We were on the hunt for tortillas and they had like 6 kinds, plus taco shells, hot sauces, you name it! Not to mention all the basics -- milk, eggs, bread, cheese, etc. As far as staples go you can find most everything here, even "potato rounds" -- flat little tater tots which I like more than actual tots themselves. The beer selection is sadly quite abysmal, but I have the Local 76 to cater to my needs there at least. The Indian couple running this place are super friendly too! So say hello and explore a bit while you are here, cuz you are bound to find something ~interesting~ at the last."
"This little convenience store has got a durn good name. Every time I go there, they seem to have exactly whatever little thing I was looking for - buttermilk, bottle of wine, pepto-bismol, moon pies. The wine selection is great for a small market, the beer selection is decent, the coffee is a'brewin', and it's open early on Sundays. Go crazy."
"Market Grocery is open kind of late (10pm on weeknights), sells wine & beer, and carries various and sundry other products that will see you through until morning, when other things are open. What's not to like about that? I like it because I work downtown, and I can grab something to snack on there. They have a small deli, the man who owns the shop is really nice, and it's easy to find. The only bummer is that if you spend less than $7 (what happened to $5?) when paying with a debit/credit card, they will charge you 50 cents--not the end of the world."
"Been going here for AGES! So sad to see it go. Last day is 10/8/23, go visit them one last time while you still can!Borracchini's, Mutual Fish, now MacPherson's."
"I love having this specialty grocery store in my neighborhood! It has select products that regular grocery stores don't always carry. Plus they have a big selection of organic produce. The prices are a bit high here but the quality of the food seems good. They also have a small section of refillable products such as hand soap, laundry detergent, etc. Oh and the bulk food section is perfect if you cook with a lot of grains or like to make your own trail mix or granola like I do!They even have a big selection of pre-made food such as soups, a salad bar, and take out dinners. Not to mention a huge cheese selection!"
"Some of the best smoked salmon we've ever had, we purchased here! I only wish we had bought a larger bag, because it was gone within six hours of arriving back home! Couple that with a savory array of cheeses, spices, sauces, meats, eats and other treats, and you end up with one of my favorite stores in Poulsbo! This is the kind of place that fuels the fire of our food-tourism tendencies! An absolute must-stop in Poulsbo!"

"I had 30 minutes to waste so I dropped by this place and went straight to the back for some lunch. I had a plate of some pork simmered in a darker red chile sauce and beef tongue simmered is a green verde sauce. I felt like I was eating home cooking it was so delicious. I walked out satisfied and full."
"I was super critical of the store because of my ice cream fiasco in my first review. I really should have been more comprehensive, and generous, in my review then to state my friend had a good experience purchasing her snacks.I stopped by tonight on my way home, even though I had said I would not go to that store again, I got an ice cream cone. It was black cherry Dreyer's brand ice cream and it was delicious. Totally hit the spot. And the cashier/ice cream server was super friendly.I had never paid attention to the store before. I had only been in there once when I got that sour ice cream a while back. But it looks like a pretty cool place where lots of people hang out. There were tons of young people there today they look like they were having fun."
"The five star reviews must be for cuteness or for moral support, because as a store with practical value, it has none of that. Stock is extremely small, mostly unusual snacks for the highest possible price, plus a surcharge if you're not a co-op member but why would you join a place that sells mainly odd snacks. I bought a handful of items, they fit in a tiny bag, but cost $70, none of it practical except the asparagus. If this is the same co-op that used to be on a side street downtown Bremerton, it's definitely better than it was then, because it always smelled like rotting blood of a poorly run butcher's shop. That they're still a butcher shop is not so overt so at least now it's safe for a vegetarian to enter without going gross-out."
"Love their bakery and deli The buttermilk dinner roll tray is delicious The garlic bread smells so good after toasting it in the ovenStaff is very friendly"
"Pure awesome.I had forgotten that strawberries tasted like actual fruit instead of a tasteless fiberious mass. Hint: they taste like strawberries.Roasted veggies from this place are delicious and will refresh your memory about what food is supposed to taste like. You can get delivery weekly or bi-weekly, depending on how much you're around to eat fruit and veggies, and they have two sizes of basket to choose from.I emailed them a large list of things that I didn't want in my basket and they save it for reference. They deliver organic loot from the farm to your doorstep.Local, seasonal, sustainable, organic, delicious, relatively cheap for what you get."
"A solid little deli & beer/wine store. I stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich one morning and the service was quick and the food was good. Relatively inexpensive and a pretty wide variety of nice quality meats and cheeses."
"Came here for breakfast, ordered the magnificent Breakfast of Champions sandwich, and found my new favorite breakfast sandwich! While my sandwich was being made, I took a nice stroll through the market. A fantastic array of wines, beers, deli items, and many things that I can find only in much larger supermarkets.Again, a great market and I'll be visiting again whenever I'm in the area!"
"This is one of those reviews you write just because you can. There really is not anything that makes SIDS stand out from any other convenience store on earth, except it's location and it's longevity. In the only little strip mall off stuffs on my hill, (family owned pizza place, small family owned hair salon, and SIDS) it's the beacon of the neighborhood for all the shit you just need now and don't want to travel "into town" for.My kids and their friends walk here multiple times a week for treats after school or on weekends. More than once, when a group of kids comes up short on their purchases (big eyes, small wallets), random patrons or the owner will often "spot" the kids the difference. It was exactly the same way when I was a kid and came here. The employees are the owners, their family and a few neighborhood folks who've all been there a good long while. And it shows. They know the names, lives, and 'favorite brands' of all the regular customers. They are, after all, neighbors-literally and figuratively.I do hope SIDS remains a part of my neighborhood for a long time to come."
"Amazing!!!! Just amazing. Not all metropolitan markets are created equal. Really, they are all different. Most have that overpriced items, meats, wine, organic produce. But this one might be the best. Mainly because of how busy/ big/ bustling their hot food bar is! Pizza bar???! Yes!! Prime rib bar? Yes! Sandwiches, salads, pasta! French fries station??! Yes. It's like a mini Amsterdam replica too. With a cone and curry sauce option. And pizzas! Flat squares like how us Italians do. Or Italian delis! Feels so home. And it's a maze here. Cheese section is huge. Also their salami/ prosciutto counter! The nuts! The fruits. Just so many choices. I even bought a $10 -$15 marshmallow.. do I need them?? No. But they were pretty!!Saturday's they have 2 slices of pizza for $7. It's pretty good. And Sundays which I'll never make it day: since it's a 40 minutes drive each way to get here: they have half off pizza pan! Half a pan for $15.99 which is 10 slices. I'll never make it. Nor do I need 10 slices. But it sounds good. Bonus: it's across the street from Baci's new grooming spot. Now I get to stroll here for a good hour or two while he gets groom for 4 hours. Not bad at all. How else would I have found out about fancy marshmallow or their expansive salami bar! Just feels so home."
"True to form, PCC offers an abundance of fresh produce, enticing "healthy" treats and prices that make it somewhat improbable for the majority. We love coming here (and to other locations) to enjoy the free piece (single serving) of fruit/vegetable available to little ones shopping with their adults. The produce always seems fresh and clean, very seldom ready to go off in a day or two. The dairy products are a go-to for us, as they are sourced amiably from trustworthy companies."
"I've heard amazing stories about Altha's selection of Louisiana seasonings and food items and I had check it out for myself. My family is from my Louisiana and I grew up eating gumbo, hot water cornbread, dirty rice and much more. I also know the items to make those kinds of foods are almost impossible to find in Washington. Thankfully, Altha's is the place to go.I stopped in yesterday evening and was excited to pick up items for gumbo and their deli. Sadly, they stopped the food service due to lack of staff, but they had gumbo for sale. This place is amazing with a huge variety of foods. They have everything from turkey legs to boudin. The owner of the store was very kind and even gave us a sample of gumbo. This is the only black-owned grocery store in the state of Washington and it was great to support and celebrate and much needed addition."
"Super service station. Gas, coffee, snacks and more. I was even able to get my fishing license here! With a little bit of everything, this is a great resource without having to drive off the island."
