Visit Restaurant Page"Straight up one of the best pizzas I have had in Seattle. This is a pie of righteousness and I devoured it along with a friend. It might not be super beautiful but it is super flavorful and whoops the bejesus out of any chain pizza. When I sunk my teeth into that thick cheesy goodness...that Italian sausage, that tomato sauce, everything on that pizza served a purpose of amazingness. This isn't a thin crust pizza those have their purpose, this isn't a Chicago style pizza, this is a MF Petro's Special at Christos!!!! Best Pizza I have had all year!"
"The food was amazing and I love the baklava.and the service was great. - Danny We will be back!"
"I came to Mawadda Cafe on Sat night. There were no customers in the restaurant, but we decided to eat. The store was well organized and the tables were clean. It took us quite some time to choose the menu. In the meantime, two people came in and picked up food. We ordered a veggie combo and a Samosa Plate. The food took a long time to come probably the restaurant was busy with phone and online orders. Veggie combo is a fresh made spanakopita triangular spinach pies, falafel, hummus, and stuffed grape. This dish was quite large and even two people could not finish it. Spanakopita triangular spinach pie is crispy and has a strong spinach flavor, falafel is a little salty for me but a good taste, hummus is a little watering taste. Samosa Plate is a golden crispy triangular pies all stuffed with a delicious filling. Choice of filling are chicken, beef and veggie. We only ate one samosa and took the rest home. There are many vegetarian and vegan choices here. I would like to try other things next time."
"My friend and I arrived here at 11:15 am on a Tuesday morning to grab some quick food for a picnic at Washington Park Arboretum. Nice homey interior good for solo, group, or families to dine on on authentic Egyptian and Greek food. They serve shawarmas and gyros too! Our order took about 10 minute to finish and we set off. Super excited trying my first shawarma and it beat my expectations in being thick with chicken and veggies. Delicious seasoning on the chicken and refreshing medley of veggies. All I wished was more sauce in the shawarma since it did get dry at one point. Quick to go spot with quality food!"
"Loved their pastrami sandwich. Too big for one person. I took my leftovers thinking I could eat on it later and I had dump it going over the Canadian border. Waaaah! I can't wait to go back to this friendly family ran restaurant. Their pizzas looked great too. .. Delicious bread made this sandwich a pleasure to eat warm. Plenty of parking."
"Dear lord, what have I gotten myself into, I may need Kabab rehab. Gyro: awesome; Kababs: awesome; Hummus: awesome; pita: awesome; salad:awesome. Priced right friendly staff."
"I stopped in during a trip to the Saturday market in the village. This appears as a convenient location. There are three picnic size tables out front, but be aware on a hot weekend, the garbage smell may linger due to the location. For the food: we ordered a traditional gyro. The meat was flavorful but the gyro overall was lacking on the other ingredients. It needed more of the refreshing crunch (lettuce/onion) but did have enough sauce. As for the price, it felt a bit high considering it was a stand alone item. I can give credit that perhaps being right next to the village maybe the rents are high. Another +1 for how quick the food came out, but the staff were not welcoming or friendly in anyway. Kind of a bummer, but will definitely give another chance because everyone has their day.I did note that some folks at the other table had orders of salads and possibly a platter - they looked like healthy portions and down right delicious. I will be back with an update before the end of summer, and hopefully can incorporate this into my regular take out schedule. It has potential!"
"My exploration for new Mediterranean food took me to this cool place in Everett. It's part of a small strip mall surrounded with so many different eateries. Was there for grabbing the dinner. Not many customers around. Looked like a very neat and well maintained restaurant. I was greeted by the guy names Visaam when I walked in. I hope I got his name correct. Their menu looks fabulous. Wraps, plates, salads, desserts and appetizers - so many options. Hardly waited for 2 mins, Visaam showed up at the counter to take my order.Ordered Chicken Gyro wrap, Garlic Chicken wrap, Chicken Shish Kabab wrap and a Veggie gyro wrap. Within 10 mins the food was ready. I asked them to make couple of wraps spicy, and they have added hot sauce along with the others.Coming to the food , Loved all those wraps. Meat was cooked to perfection. Marination on the meat had added a special flavor to it. Couple wraps were spicy and that was perfect. Service was just great, menu is stupendous, food is delicious and location is very convenient. What more you need! Will visit again for more food, especially the platters. Recommend it!"
"The gyros here were delicious. This is almost like a food truck in my book although it's a stand in Pikes market. The owners were very nice, food came fast, tasted amazing and made me happy.I love how thin they sliced the lamb and the tzatziki sauce was perfect. This is a great spot to grab a gyro (or yeero as they spell it). Their lemonades are tasty too."
"I was visiting Seattle and wanted to try some Greek food. After looking at many places all I could find was Mediterranean places not any straight Greek places. This place was about 35m from my hotel but it did not disappoint! I came in on a Thursday around 7pm. There was no wait. I like the place inside it has a nice atmosphere to it and they have live music on Saturday's! The server seemed a bit like he didn't want to be there (hence the minus one star). I opted for the gyro platter and man they load it up!! I had a lot of left overs lol. I ended up getting a Greek coffee as well. I wanted it to go but they do not have to go cups. They had those yummy Greek candies that I haven't seen anywhere else here in the us."

Christo's is truly one of a kind!I'm not sure if this place is family run, but you can certainly feel the love in the food, in the atmosphere, and in the service. The menu is littered with traditional American plates with heavy Greece and Italian influences. Come in for Sunday football, come in for a major EPL match, or come in if you're simply hungry, looking for stellar pizza, pita, or a solid brunch plate. If you find yourself walking along Alki and think "should we go in there?" You absolutely should.

Tucked away in North East neighborhood of Federal Way is a family run and owned lovely restaurant. We were greeted when we walked and went up to the counter to order. Displayed Menu has pictures of their dishes but no prices. I chose the chicken souvlaki and my friend had the hummus plate. Both plates were loaded! Mine had a salad, pilaf, hummus with pita and chicken souvlaki. Friends was hummus with salad and hummus. The food was delicious! Soft pita, earthy hummus and well marinated chicken. The place was busy with to go orders and a besides my friend and I, there was one other person for dine-in. Stop by and enjoy some great food!

This is a Hole in the wall kind of place. There is no Ambiance but the Food and Service is amazing. One of the the best Mediterranean food we have tasted. We will go back if we ever visit Seattle again!

Quick stop in town for business. Traveling from the east coast to Seattle. When checking into my hotel , I inquired about surrounding restaurants. A guest over heard my question and suggested Shawarma King due to it being in walking distance from hotel and the late hours for service. It was my first time trying shawarma in general. I chose beef versus chicken or lamb (next visit). The gentleman behind counter was patient, friendly, and helpful as I asked multiple questions about sauces and such. I would absolutely go again. The reason for 4 stars : the inside of establishment could use some TLC (paint, updated furniture, etc). Also the music was very load. The service & food was 5 star. Good size portion, crispy fries.

First, I asked the waiter what he recommends and he said the Athens pizza is a all time favorite. I ordered that. I never had pizza where the topping was in between the crust and the cheese? I come from New York where pizza is impeccable. This made the pizza itself very soggy on the base. Surprising it wasn't bad though and pretty good.Next, I got a pasta from the kids menu for my toddler. Basic spaghetti with meatballs that's a classic can't go wrong right? No absolutely not. This dish was absolutely disgusting. The meatballs taste like Campbell? And the pasta sauce was watery? Super confused. The sauce was tangy and disgusting like it came from a can. I was so disappointed. I get that it's for kids but this was nasty. My son loves carbs and he refused to eat more than 4 bitesWhen I look around people are either eating a sandwich or a salad mainly? Not much of the pizza or pasta which I thought was in the name of the restaurant

This is a hidden gem for great food and great service. Although you go to the counter to order and seat yourself, the service is still outstanding. We used to order for pick up but lately we call on our way and let them know that we would like to eat in but wanted to get the order started so it is ready when we get there. When we get there we pay and they immediately bring out our food. We always order the gyro combo with a salad instead of fries. The gyro has more than enough meat and is always filling and satisfying. Their sauce in the gyro is so flavorful. The salad is always so fresh and crisp with a dressing bursting with flavor. If you have not been here, you must try it and it will keep you coming back.

The staff was super friendly, and the food came out fast. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and appreciated that it has a nice spread of hummus on the pita along with a range of tasty toppings. The chicken was fresh tasting and not over cooked. Good bite for when you're in a rush!"
"After a disastrous experience at Patty's Eggnest across the street, I walked over here for lunch. It's still just as great as it always was.The server was a young, dark haired guy in his 20's, who was extremely pleasant to talk to and didn't make me feel awkward for dining solo. They've completely updated the dining room and it's beautiful. My sandwich came out quickly and was perfectly made, on fresh and warm bread, with the perfect amount of toppings. I love the shredded lettuce.Food here is a great value and reasonably priced. They also frequently offer coupons in various distributions. If you are interested in pizza, you'll love what they make here, as it's different than any pizza you've ever had. Look at the pics! It's REALLY good (but not low cal )."
"A great place for Greek food and casual dining! I came here on a weekday for lunch and it was not busy at all. For food, you must order at the register and find a table to sit down at. I ended up ordering the grilled chicken plate with calamari. The chicken plate was very fairly portioned and came with a choice of side. The calamari was also pretty good and I would definitely order it again next time. The service was great! Waitress was very friendly upon ordering. I'm docking one star for clean up since when I arrived, I noticed several dirty tables even though they did not seem busy. For drinks, it's self serve to the right of the register near the restrooms. Seating is also self serve. Ultimately for Greek food, this is a solid place to try out with a pretty wide menu of options to try. Parking: Free parking lot and bountiful!"
"This place deserves five stars. I support family owned businesses. Especially during this time. The staff here are really kind and generous. The food is SOLID. My beef gyro was awesome. The beef was super juicy and tender. WOW! I'll be back again for sure."
"We live in Seattle but love going to Burien to meet our Tacoma fam. Nice mid-way point and lots of great eats. We've now added Snack Gyro to our list because the food was chock full of the good stuff. Spices, herbs, a little love sprinkled in. I had a falafel wrap and my boo had chicken. We shared the Greek fries which were done right sexy. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt. We noticed lots of delivery drivers and other working folks were stopping by, they know the secret. Limited outdoor seating but lots inside."
"Unassuming little eatery, in a small shopping center. Friendly, efficient service. We ordered at the counter, and our food was delivered to our table! Mr. Wonderful had the beef Gyro combo; which was a beef Gyro serve with fries and a drink. I thoroughly enjoyed the falafel Gyro and a side of lentil soup. Both were excellent. The restaurant, including the bathrooms, are super clean. There was ample room to park our truck and RV."
"Massive shaved gyro with plenty of meat, salad, and sauce! A gyro like you want it, and Greek fries to boot! The fries were crisp, even in the sauce. Service was quick and efficient! We got it to go, but the restaurant was nice and clean on the inside as we picked up our order!"
"Ummm, this place is so good, and the portions are huge. I didn't dine in the restaurant as I ordered via door dash, but it didn't matter. The food was still quick and yummy! At first. I was bummed because I ordered regular fries, and I received Greek fries. After tasting the Greek Fries, my daughter and I were no longer bummed! Wow ! They were so good! I also ordered the shish tawook- it came with hummus, salad, and rice. I'd say it could have fed a few more people considering my daughter and I just put half in the fridge as leftovers. I don't live in this area, but if I did - I'd eat this a lot!"
"Wow. That's honestly the only thing my partner and I could say back and forth as we dined on what's undoubtedly the best Mediterranean food in the neighborhood and (...don't tell my beloved Zaina) perhaps in Seattle?! Wow!We got a smorgasbord of different appetizers, because let's be honest they're the best things on the menu. The roasted cauliflower zahara and the dip was incredible. Nice and tangy and nutty sesame tahini. The stuffed grape leaves were so incredibly flavorful and again that dip. Whew! Loved the lemon that came with it and ended up putting a bit on everything.Their pita is great and thick, and boy of boy I could eat their spreads all day. The hummus is thick and rich and covered with excellent olive oil. And my favorite, the baba ganoush. Can never get enough. I make my own... And George's is amazing! Smoky, spiced and seasoned. PerfectThe spinach pies were great, too. Crispy and comes with excellent olives, pickles and feta. And to top it all off...that baklava. Wow. Beautiful burnt honey, giving it a complex rich sweetness that wasn't as one-note as some can be. Pistachio! So goodAnd I can't leave a review without mentioning how absolutely sweet their service is. Very considerate and kind. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!!"
"Great food! I have been here more than once and it's just that good. Their stuff is fresh -- the meat is never dry and they seem to always have more food for your buck. My family and I love this establishment. Gyros is good; the plates as well as dessert -- aka, their chocolate baklava. To make things interesting, we got take out this time. I got the Gyro plate and I was definitely craving french fries this time :D (Greek Fries are so much better when you get them piping hot and fresh!) I LOVE lamb so I definitely loved the seasoning and taste. It was under the bed of french fries and the salad was fresh, filled with tomatoes, olives and feta cheese. The vinaigrette was great - very light. They serve extra pita - fluffy and soft with tzatziki sauce."
"After my morning run today, Saturday 12 August 2023, I came to Nick's Jr Burgers and Gyros hoping to find an option to help satiate my low blood pressure. Looking over the menu, I went with the peanut butter bacon burger and fried pickle chips to-go. It was quiet inside and a worker stood at alert and was attentive in taking orders. I waited at an empty table as they prepared my meal. The to-go bag came with napkins and a dipping sauce as well.Peanut butter on the peanut butter bacon burger was evenly distributed on the whole burger. It was slightly sweet and was subtle enough that I could taste the other toppings as well. The patty was well cooked and the bacon was both juicy and crispy. For the fried pickle chips, I found them to be hot and flavorful. The pickle chips were thick enough I could taste the pickle itself and the dipping sauce was tasty. My low blood pressure was satiated and belly satisfied."
"I went to Zaina just this past weekend and enjoyed it considerably. I got their gyro sandwich and really enjoyed it. As typically with Greek food it left me quite full and satisfied for quite a bit of time afterwards. It was by keeping this in mind why I only got the sandwich and not the plate which included French Fries. The space is fairly small as far as seating goes other than one larger room which could occupy maybe about six or seven people at one table."
"It's a small place but there is seating inside and outside so there were lots of people there but it wasn't crowded. The service was great. Quick and friendly!I thought the selection on the menu wasn't the best. It's half breakfast items, which is not what I wanted.I had the patty melt with fries. The burger was pretty good and the fries were great. They gave me a lot of fries.A downside is that their soda is in a can and it's $2.75. That seems pretty high for a can of Coke. I would just get water next time. The area has lots of street parking and I was able to get a good spot on a busy Saturday."
"I decided to check out Gyro Express Mediterranean Grill after work for an early dinner onsite (3/30/23). I was warmly greeted and placed my order for the Mix Grill ($21) with was a ginormous entree. This included chicken, beef, and lamb grilled kebabs atop flavored basmati rice, salad, hummus, pita, and a soda. Easily this is easily a shareable entree. It also held up pretty well in the refrigerator as leftovers, especially the beef and lamb over the chicken. I noticed brisk takeout while I was onsite which kept the three counter staff hopping. Well established with efficient service since 2015.I docked a star for the wimpy forks and not having the opportunity to wipe down the tables between customers, especially when I moved over one booth from a mother with two rambunctious young kids. The kids were standing on the table, crawling over the booths, clawing at the walls - no kidding. Thankfully, entrees are served on a tray in a takeout container so dining onsite gives you an added layer of protection from a sanitary standpoint. Yes, no need to lecture this QC microbiologist and former employee in the restaurant industry - just calling it for what it is.Welcoming staff. Nice selections of menu items for dine-in or takeout. Generous, well priced entrees."
"I stopped by Gyro Hut yesterday and picked up their combo with lamb meat. I wish I had ate yesterday, but other option came up, but over night was still good. I like this place and every once a while I will stop there for gyros."
"Just moved to Magnolia and this place is a welcome short walk down the street. Americano isn't your average "burger" joint, boasting a surprisingly diverse menu that includes numerous options that you seldom see on the same page. Their burgers and gyros are excellent, but what makes this place worth your visit and your wallet are the two guys working their asses off to put a smile in your tummy--Lovely, unassuming place, lovely people, and good food. Thank you, Friends:)This is one local small business you should support."
"Mykonos is a family-run Greek restaurant in the Green Lake area. There is limited parking in the area so you might have to drive around the block a couple times until you find a spot.We ordered the classic gyro ($9.25) and a side of fries ($3.50). The gyro was big and had large portions with a lot of meat. Otherwise it was a pretty standard gyro with your typical gyro flavors and toppings. The fries were just okay and could've been a little more seasoned. The cashier was very nice and friendly and the food came out in 10 minutes so nothing to complain about there. This place is a good and relatively inexpensive spot that would be good for lunch as well."
"First time visiting Ishtar and we decided to try different things. Lamb shank, 3 meats kabobs, eggplant salad falafel and desserts. Everything is flavorful. The kabobs were a tiny bit dry but very tender. The interior of this place is clean and setup for large groups. Very friendly service but the location of the area is a little sketchy. Would still want to come back when in the neighborhood."
"A Greek food truck serving the Greater Seattle area with appetizing gyros! For the location of the day, check their social media account @theosgyroseats.-----Roasted Pork Belly Gyro: tomato, onion, tzatziki sauce wrapped in warmed pita, pepperoncini and Greek pico ($13.75).I loved that the pork belly were in large chunks instead of thin slices, and were absolutely juicy and tender. Everything was well-seasoned and the amount of sauce was just perfect. The gyro combo includes a side of fries, small Greek salad, or soup bringing up the cost to $15 or so. I found that the gyro already had a few strips of crispy fries inside. The pita bread was fresh and chewy.-----The staff running the food truck were friendly and swiftly worked on orders."
"The sizes here are great for the price. The staff is very nice and helpful as well. There is also plenty of parking! However, if you are a UW student this is perfectly in walking distance although you'll have to go back up some stairs. My favorite thing here was the Fries: perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. My friend who joined me is a vegetarian and said she had many option to chose from and was very pleased!"
"It's great to see local, small places surviving during these crazy times. So show your support and visit them !! Great food, great service and nice location next to the Needle. It you are in the mood for a killer Gyro then this is your place!"
"This is a pretty nice place for classic American breakfast! I ended up in the area for a Yelp Experience and decided to make a morning out of it and George's seemed like they'd be a great place for breakfast. I arrived around 9ish and they were at about half capacity so I was seated very quickly. I love biscuits and gravy but finding the vegetarian version can be a tall order so I definitely had to get it! It was one of those times I asked the sever a few follow up questions just to make sure that we're talking about the same thing when we say "vegetarian" he was happy to answer my questions and I was happy to have the biscuits! I also got a mimosa since it's the ultimate brunch drink. I watched my server make it and was pleasantly surprised! Most places it's a splash of champagne with OJ but here it was mostly champagne with a splash of OJ. Just my style! All in all a lovely breakfast. I personally like my hashbrowns a bit more on the crispy side, but they were still good and the biscuits and gravy were delightful! By the time I was leaving all of the tables were filled and the line was starting to work out the door, so this is definitely a popular spot!"
"After walking around the Puyallup Farmers' Market, my boyfriend and I still had some time to kill so we decided to find a spot to grab a drink. Giorgio's is right by the entrance to the market, so we settled on coming here. They have two adorable outdoor spaces with ivy, string lights, and covered seating. Perfect for those mild summer days and there was enough shade for us to let our baby relax in his stroller without being sunned on.I got a glass of white wine and they had a bottled IPA that my boyfriend got - both of us enjoyed our drinks and they were priced accordingly. We felt bad coming just for a drink, so we decide to get a little snack to share too. We tried the Greek Fries and they were soooo gooood. The fries themselves were perfectly crispy, and the tzatziki and gyro meat were SO GOOD. It was the perfect size to split between the two of us and left us adequately full. Cute little cafe that we definitely will stop by again!"
