If you're looking for one of the best Asian meals, Fuji is EXCEPTIONAL. The chef was hilarious and super friendly. The food was cooked to perfection, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend for a date night, family get together, special occasion, or an overall great time. Cannot wait to be back soon!

I was here with my fiance for the first time and we both have a good time! Not only the food was excellent, the service and ambience were also exceptional. Our chef is so funny and made this experience super memorable. You pick the meat and they cook in front of you kinda thing. All meals come with rice, noodles, and veggies. The price is about $30-60ish (depending on the meat selection), we think its a good deal because the of the high quality meat and great service. We would be def returning and take our friends here!

It was a co-workers birthday so we decided to come have dinner here. We arrived at 6:30PM on a Thursday. When we arrived they had 2 stations with the Chef doing their thang. They sat both of us at a new station and told us they were waiting on more people before they could start. We ordered fries while we waited since we were hungry. 30 minutes waiting and they did not have any other diners walk in so we had the table to ourselves and the Chef was really playful. The food was decent but it's the same sauce used for the veggies, the fried rice, the shrimp and the yakisoba. SOY SAUCE We left the restaurant around 8 and they close at 9:30. We were the last diners to have been seated and the last diners to have left for that day.

We came here for our birthday celebrations tonight and ordered a variety of entrees - filet mignon with scallops, hibachi chicken, salmon and calamari, New York steak with chicken. Every type of food was done perfectly by Sang! The "soup" is pretty bland (just water with a piece of mushroom, a few pieces of noodles and some green onions), but the salad was delicious and crisp with a ginger miso vinaigrette and sautéed mixed vegetables(onions, zucchini, broccoli and mushrooms) are always cooked well and tasty. They no longer serve an appetizer with shrimp and fried rice is now an extra charge of $4.50 each, though the chef was kind enough to give us a "sample" of it. :) Instead, the meals also come with a small portion of yakisoba noodles. We all greatly enjoyed our meals and my mom who is a great cook, frequently complimented the chef! I highly recommend this place.

Delicious food, prompt, thorough, and friendly service, and such a fun atmosphere! A standout amongst rivals! We went here recently to celebrate my son's birthday. It was, as always, a hit! Our chef was really fun, and most importantly, cooked our food to perfection. We especially love how tender and juicy our chicken and steak was. I also ordered scallops that were perfectly seared and crisp on the outside, yet still tender on the inside. The vegetables were fresh and tasty, and the fried rice is a standout. All around, dishes are very flavorful. The price point is fair and excellent considering the quality of the food and experience. We will be back soon!

Came here with my family of 4 including two young children to celebrate some great news my family had received. Our kids are autistic and are accustomed to family restaurants but teppanyaki was something totally new for them. We weren't sure how it was going to go, but we needn't have worried because the kids LOVED the show put on by the employee wearing a Donald Duck button but more importantly they loved the food. Wolfed it down, even my son who is usually a pretty picky eater. We almost didn't come here because Fuji is not listed as "Good for kids" under the restaurant attributes on Yelp. But it SHOULD be, because any place with a kid's menu is kid-friendly in my book. And while this place was on the spendy side, it was definitely worth it between the entertainment and the mountainous portions. I thought I was going to need to be rolled out of there. We all left with big smiles and full bellies. And early the next morning, when I opened the fridge to make breakfast, my 7 year old reaches instantly for the Fuji takeout container, saying "Mmmmm steak." It was a wonderful meal that won't soon be forgotten.

Years ago, Susumu was one of our frequently visited restaurants. We had not been there for 10-15 years. Friday night we had a birthday celebration and there were nine of us at Fuji Teppanyaki. As usual, the food, service and ambiance were OUTSTANDING. Not only do you get a great meal, but the entertainment factor is so much fun. I can't say enough positive things. PLUS, I expected the prices to have skyrocketed since our earlier visits, but they were very affordable. I had the combo NY steak and chicken for I think $38. Keep in mind this includes very generous portions of rice, vegetables along with the 5 oz. chicken and 5 oz. NY steak. Each and every person in our party took home about half of their meal. All in price (meal, appetizers {edamame, gyoza, spicy tuna jalapeno poppers}, drinks {at least 2 each} AND TIP = $67 per person. If you have never been to Fuji Teppanyaki (formerly Susumu), you have to give it a try. -Steve (Bothell)
