"A medium sized grocery store with anything you need for dinner including a great beer and (especially) wine collection. It's family owned and operated with a bunch of hardworking friendly people!"
"Love it! We've had a hard time finding an open air produce market in the area. There are several farmer's markets and fruit stands nearby, but it's nice having the ability to go to a produce market any time you wish. As luck would have it, we made a wrong turn and drove right by this one. Great selection of local produce plus jams/jellies etc. Don't expect to be able to fulfill all of your grocery needs here, but this is a great place to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Some of the produce we found wasn't in the best shape, but they price it accordingly. I was able to pick through and find some delicious local pears for $0.69 a pound because many of them were overripe. If you pick carefully, the produce is much better quality than what you would buy from a typical grocery store. You can tell it was picked while ripe (which is why a lot of it was starting to go bad). We already want to go back and buy more peaches before they are gone completely from the stores. What a cool and totally random find."
"Been going here for AGES! So sad to see it go. Last day is 10/8/23, go visit them one last time while you still can!Borracchini's, Mutual Fish, now MacPherson's."
"Having passed by this place for YEARS.....I finally had the chance to check out this cute lil shop at the recommendation of my mom. If you're looking for reasonably priced fruit/produce/Asian spices and sauces, Lenny's is a perfect one stop for all. With a wide selection of various Asian items (Thai, Viet, Chinese, etc) + Mexican pastries and other odds and ends, you can definitely find something to eat/use. Overall, the store itself is pretty small but well organized. I enjoyed shopping here a lot since it's pretty easy to find stuff and oh boy.....The prices are pretty competitive compared to nearby stores. In addition, the quality of the fruits and produce is pretty great. In gist - Highly recommend checking out this store if you're in a hurry to shop or want to check something out. :)"
"The five star reviews must be for cuteness or for moral support, because as a store with practical value, it has none of that. Stock is extremely small, mostly unusual snacks for the highest possible price, plus a surcharge if you're not a co-op member but why would you join a place that sells mainly odd snacks. I bought a handful of items, they fit in a tiny bag, but cost $70, none of it practical except the asparagus. If this is the same co-op that used to be on a side street downtown Bremerton, it's definitely better than it was then, because it always smelled like rotting blood of a poorly run butcher's shop. That they're still a butcher shop is not so overt so at least now it's safe for a vegetarian to enter without going gross-out."
"Newly opened international grocery store close to home (we are elated)! A plethora of grocery selections, clean and spacious aisles, with both refrigerated items and fresh produce, and welcoming owners! Looking forward to more south Indian brands selections. I sympathize with the store opening coincides the COVID-19 "stay home", not many customers at the time we visited. But hey, it means social distancing are well maintained here. Give it a try! Support local businesses. :)"
"Pure awesome.I had forgotten that strawberries tasted like actual fruit instead of a tasteless fiberious mass. Hint: they taste like strawberries.Roasted veggies from this place are delicious and will refresh your memory about what food is supposed to taste like. You can get delivery weekly or bi-weekly, depending on how much you're around to eat fruit and veggies, and they have two sizes of basket to choose from.I emailed them a large list of things that I didn't want in my basket and they save it for reference. They deliver organic loot from the farm to your doorstep.Local, seasonal, sustainable, organic, delicious, relatively cheap for what you get."
"Small but decent farmer's market in the middle of town. If it's a warm day, I advise coming to the Market early otherwise it gets HOT due to all the concrete and people packed into one area. This Farmer's Market is in the front lot of The Commons Shopping area at the Sears parking lot. You'll see all the white canopies. You can't miss it!I love how this Market has such a wide array of vendors. You'll see 3 - 5 flower vendors. There's also an abundance of vendors selling produce. Nowadays that seems to be far and few between. There are quite a few craft vendors as well as food vendors. I enjoy walking around and checking things out. It's a worth a visit if you happen to be in the area on a Saturday anywhere from 9am to 3pm."
"I've had my CSA with snovalley for 2 seasons now and I don't ever see myself going back to regular groceries! It's really magical knowing exactly where your food came from. This CSA is different than most since you can pick out exactly which items you want, pass on others, and even get double or triple of what you like. There are also fresh eggs from happy hens. When you come to pick up, Anela and Dino are always more than happy to give you a tour so you can see where everything is."
"I'm fortunate to live fairly close to some apple orchards and, on my recent trip to Seattle's Pike Place Market, I stumbled upon Tiny's Organic. You'll easily spot their red tent set-up right in front of Beecher's Homemade Cheeses. They offer a handful of organic apple ciders and I tried:* Organic Apple Peach Cider* Organic Raspberry Apple Cider* mix of Peach and Raspberry Apple CidersAll three were delicious in my book: a bit tart, naturally sweet, and super cold! Yum! I'd gladly pay $6 a cup again (the cup was about 10-12 Oz)."
"As many are reporting, some items are rotten or spoiled based on my standard. For example, 1/4 of Spinach wilted, all potatoes have sprouts. I washed spinach right away so forgot to take a picture, but the potatoes are shown below. Very nice lady came in to the door selling this box offering $10 off for the first box, so I decided to give it a try. Since this seems to be a heavily marketed company I see everywhere on SN, I had a doubt that they might be over priced. And my intuition was right. I got the supposed to be $34 box and the size of the box itself was half of what we once ordered from Klesick in stanwood. I ordered green lettuce, spinach, potatoes, green onions, avocados and carrots. Ohhh now I find I'm missing carrots...."
"Apple. Cider. Slushy. Need I say more?? I love Apple cider so when I saw it in slushy form, I knew I had to try it!The stand was run by a nice lady. A group of adults were buying some of her huge peaches and she had a cooler of water so she could wash it for them to eat. She even had the lady taste it so she could see her reaction. Haha. You can tell she genuinely cares about the produce and her customers. Anyway, there are samples of the cider - Apple or apple pear. We liked the apple pear cider better. We paid $5 for a slushy and the lady said we could sample the slushy now before choosing. We ended up liking the Apple cider slushy better. If you like cider you have to try their slushy! It's not too icy and it's so flavorful and fresh! Yum!"

Drove by and did a u-turn for this spot. So happy I did. Easy parking out front and a wonderful selection of apples, veggies and peaches fresh from the Yakima valley. Plants and soil too. I left with a few peaches, apples and a fresh red onion. A small selection of groceries are sold here like butter, eggs, specialty beverages and pies. I am having YOLO about not purchasing the single serving peach pie. Next time! Friendly service and an outdoor style marketplace feel reminding me of my favorite produce store when I lived in CA. Thank you WA! SYOY.

A hidden gem in Georgetown. This is hands-down my favorite produce market in the city. Bins of fresh produce at very reasonable prices. A wide selection of apples, peppers, root veggies, pretty much anything you could want. You'll find some homemade items as well as the traditional assortment of sauces, dried beans, and Oaxaca cheese.Pro-tip: Lookup. The shelf space over the veggie bins has a variety of sauces and Mexican-style grocery items. There's also a case of Mexican conchas, sweet morning buns. A good selection, the coconut ones.

I love having this place in the neighborhood to get all my Asian staples. The only key ingredient I haven't been able to find here is miso. Some of my past Asian groceries here include: curry paste, fish sauce, mochiko flour, and coconut milk. Their produce is also very reasonably priced. Sometimes I find fruits and veggies that are more than half off of what I'd pay at Fred Meyer. Examples: honeycrisp apples, Chinese eggplant, napa cabbage, mangos, lemons, and limes.

Real tiny lil spot, but has a great amount of diversity for its size. Organic, local, and even typically vegan donuts. Good spot to go first before you head into a bigger grocery store, get what you can then find the rest else where.

Came across this gem of a place while getting our car fixed. It's 25 mins away from Seattle and has fresh and great variety of Indian goods. They are neatly arranged and they are such a warm welcoming store. I guess I will be visiting here to get my groceries ( Indian )

I have been receiving produce deliveries from New Roots Organics since the beginning of the year and I have been impress with the quality every single time. It's so convenient since they deliver (in my case) every other Tuesday. I have received a variety of produce such as cauliflower, delicata squash, garnet yams, cameo apples, pears, avocados, bok choy and so much more. If there's something you don't like, you can always substitute those items. Also, you can add extra items such as garlic (which I highly recommend on ordering). Thanks to New Roots Organics, I have learn to try and appreciate produce I normally wouldn't have purchased on my own such as collard greens.Note: A personal bin is enough produce to last me for 2 weeks. I usually juice if I think I won't finish them before it goes bad.

This is a pretty small farmers market in The Commons parking lot near where the Sears was. This market gets even smaller quickly when you realize that a lot of the stands have the exact same products, potentially at different prices.Flowers, arts & crafts, produce; this is basically what you'd expect from a market. They also had 3 or 4 food trucks and some sort of gourmet coffee retailer. This is definitely not good enough to travel for, but if you're going to be in the area you have a fairly good chance of finding something good here.
Visit Restaurant Page"You won't find everything in this little fruit and veggie stand, but you will find good prices and friendly service. They accept credit cards if the total bill is $10 or more. Otherwise, cash is king. Open seven days a week and conveniently located next to La Ideal, one of the best panaderias for conchas we've come across! If you love papayas, pineapples, avocados, or jicama, you've come to the right place. They also sell black and red mole, a very limited selection of spices, and delicious looking local corn and flour tortillas."
"Located in Pike's Market, this is one of two stops for me in the farmers' market section. In fact, this stand drew me to discover where Hickman, California is (http://www.yelp.com/biz/stackhouse-bros-orchards-hickman#hrid:Z1h4bS6ZPyhqUrmOvZVa5g/src:self). Their nuts are great for just munching or gift-giving when you're here. They leave plastic sample containers of the various flavors so that you can match them to your tastebuds. Living in the Bay Area, I thought that I'd easily find it closer to home; unfortunately, this is the only place to satisfy my craving. The almonds are crunchy and crisp, unlike most store bought versions, often flat and soft.Warning: Do not try to eat the Cajun one in one sitting!"
"In the middle of the Lake Hills Greenbelt is this produce stand on 156th Avenue. It is located in one of the few places in Bellevue that looks more rural than suburban. You will find here items similar to those you find at a farmer's market including flowers, fruits and vegetables. There is a surprising selection to be found here as there were numerous varieties of items that I would not find in a conventional supermarket like donut nectarines and assorted peppers as well as familiar items like Rainier cherries. Prices here are competitive with a QFC or Safeway. Though some things like tomatoes, you need to pick through them to find good ones. They also had items like beets, Chinese spinach and okra which caught my attention. Lastly, what I like most about this stand is the ability to buy local. When prices are comparable, I will choose homegrown over a product that has traveled far to support a local business."
"So this place is really sweet, the girls working are super nice. they have little mini waters when you check out and a cold drink of water really hits the spot. this year my little one didn't care to help pick, she was obsessed with the flying guys and silly stuff they have out to deter the birds. we didn't pick as much this year but we put a good amount in the freezer. they do have irregular hours but they are great about updating facebook and their website about when they are going to be open. it's nice because when they are open, the berries are plentiful and easy to pick. Not sure we'll be back this year but definitely enjoy the trip when we make it."
"It's like the Grocery Outlet for produce. But in the best way possible. Varying selections of produce each day. They carry your basic items like garlic, onions, greens, potatoes, etc. Plus I've seen large bags of restaurant quality mixed greens, organic raspberries, and organic mangoes for cheapsies. My last visit, they had both organic granny smith and gala apples for 79 cents a pound. It's great here.Pro-Tip: Don't forget your reusable bags. They only provide empty produce boxes. Much like Costco."
"Every year we get our Christmas tree from Country Farms! They have a great selection of heights. Both Noble and Flocked trees. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I don't mind spending a little extra when the experience is great and to help a small business. They will even help you tie your tree to your roof top if you need!"
"Delicious chili relleno !They are quite large and stuffed with cheese. The sauce they cook/serve with it also adds to a tasty experience. First time I tried it I was so wowed, I knew I had to go back for more The drive from Sammamish to Kent was so worth while! This is a Hispanic market with no sit down service. Can only take out. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and courteous"
"All of your local produce needs! This market always has the freshest produce! We try to stop in here once a week to pick up some goodies and we are never disappointed. The produce is fresh, the staff is friendly, and you can't beat the location.Prices are good, but not any better than you would find at a grocery store."
"There are a number of produce shops/stands at Pike Place Market. Actually, a lot if you are counting the day stands. This one is located in the main walk of the Pike Place Market Arcade. It is hard to discern where this shop is located as you walk by because the sign is really small and hidden.Easiest way to find it is to look for the produce stand next to Pappardelle's Pasta. It is also next to another produce stand, Manzo Brothers. Another produce place, Sosio's is also nearby.I found the selection here to be okay. It is smaller than the selection found at Manzo Brothers next stand over, but the prices are decent. They have a nice $1 herb selection and the chantarelle mushrooms that I found here were the cheapest in the Market. Cheaper than buying them at a Metropolitan Market or Whole Foods BTW. And the quality was not at all different.Lina's is a decent produce stand with relatively reasonable prices. But like I do when shopping for produce in the ID, I would compare pricing and quality for what I am looking for around the Market before buying."
"Sosio's is where I go for fresh high quality fruit. While it doesn't last as long as fruit from a grocery store, the flavor is out of this world, and 100% worth the extra stop. It is hands down amazing.I do wish it were a bit easier to get in line at the stand, but the market is set up for tourists, so it tends to be pretty hustle and bustle. I usually stop in for a mix of cherries and raspberries and they have never once let me down, the honey loves them! All in all we'll keep coming back for fantastically fresh fruit, most definitely."
"This place is the best! The staff is super helpful and they have a really wide selection-it's rare to find berries that juicy in the spring! I had a blast walking around and feel like the selection was far superior to a grocery store. It was farmers market quality at grocery prices. I stocked up and found checkout to be really simple and easy. I loved that they also had flowers and plants and the parking wasn't bad. I can't wait to go back!"
"One of the workers was giving out slices of their pears, so I tried a piece. All the workers are very friendly and funny. It was the juiciest and sweetest pears I've ever had. He gave me another slice, but this time he was feeding it to me lol. I tried some of the other fruit stands, but this is the best one at Pike Place. It's expensive, but worth it. I love pears and would love it as a gift! ;)"
"Still the best prices around plus such friendly workers! If you need any produce on Saturdays May thru September be sure to stop here!!! The produce is top notch."
"I always take a moment to make a quick pit stop here because of my newly discovered love for dried fish, my girlfriend and her family are Ukrainian. And this is the only place I'm able to find it. It's always there and I practice speaking my Russian with the employees there. Small hole in the wall but it has an abundance Eastern Europe goods along with some Asian products as well."
"Covid 2020 changed not only the world, but it has changed my shopping habits. This grocer has now become my go-to grocer for several reasons:-consistent customer service-covid guidelines while still having awesome customer service-fresh produce and quality meats-monkfruit homemade jerky... hellllooooo!Thank you for being a part of the community, consistent customer service, safety during covid, fresh products!"
"How awesome is this place?! I have driven by this business hundreds of times over many years and finally was like enough! I must go in and see what they are about. Newcastle Fruit and Produce reminds me of someone who set up a small fruit stand and just kept adding onto it over the years. It consists of a variety of tents that has a variety of produce. My friend and I came right before Halloween and were amazed about the variety of pumpkin species. I didn't even know some of those pumpkins existed! They had a wide variety of seasonal produce with many different types of gourds, apples, and vegetables. They had prepackaged mixes for pies. It was a nice variety of a bunch of stuff that reminded me of freshness and fall. It was cool. I believe I saw employees while I walked around but if they were they weren't clearly identified and no one asked my friend and me if we needed any assistance or had any questions. Which was fine since we were just looking around but if we needed assistance not sure if we would have readily found it that particular day. It was a neat location!"
"Love this cute little fruit stand! I started buying fruits and veggies from them when they were a tiny operation across the street with heat lamps to keep the cashiers warm when they checked folks out. Now they are a full fledged farmers market-esque business with their own big parking lot! I like to get my oranges for juicing by the box here - reasonable prices and friendly faces make me a repeat customer. I know I can count on them to have good local produce and not feel like I am getting ripped off. Fresh ingredients make the best food so do yourself a favor and stop here for the best ingredients!"
"I believe Christina B. stated all the reasons I love this CSA already, so I won't write it again. Because of how the program works, I've been able to use a small box by myself (occasionally having to give away an item or two, but that's it). It has made me cook a lot this summer, and I've been really happy with all the yummy stuff I've gotten to eat. My personal favorites this season: sungold tomatoes (so sweet!), corn, great variety of heirloom lettuces, French fingerling potatoes, fava beans, shelling peas, and farm fresh eggs. There's a Bellevue drop spot that is pretty close to Microsoft main campus. They also take quality really seriously. If you get something that's unsatisfactory in your box, they will replace it. Doesn't happen often, though!"
"Delicious snacks and smoothies. The mangonadas, esquites and smoothies are amazing and the place is clean. Customer services can improve, the girls are not as friendly as the guy that prepares"
"Town & Country Market is a local family-owned market that has been in the Shoreline community since the '90s. They offer a nice selection of fresh produce, ready-to-eat meals, specialty items, and wine/beer/spirits.We came here to pick up a few items, and it didn't disappoint - all the veggies and fruits were fresh, there was a great meat counter, and there was a showcasing of local items, such as pies, desserts, and jarred/canned goods.I liked that they had beef salami and even a couple of aisles featuring Asian goodies. There was some seating available outside as well for those who'd like to enjoy the meal(s) they've picked up.Plenty of parking available in the large lot.+fresh produce and specialty items+large lot for parking available"
"I love this place! They have beautiful flowers, herbs, veggies and fruit starters throughout the year; Christmas trees in the holiday season; and fresh produce throughout the year. The produce hasn't disappointed me yet. I appreciate that they occasionally will have half of a melon or watermelon (or a hanging basket!) for sooo cheap. Like $10 for a hanging basket or $2 for half a honeydew. Oh, and there's Full Tilt ice cream pints and ice cream sandwich & Smith Bros dairy; eggs; And fixings for tacos or enchiladas. Sometimes there's a long line, but it goes pretty quickly. The people that I've met who work there are the owners or family. It warms my heart that there is a family-owned, small produce stand so close to my home. I feel so lucky to live nearby. Thanks for existing!"
"This place is a gem. They did a great job turning this place into a carnival type place for kids. My daughter and I went to the farm animal area first. They have all kinds of animals roosters to donkeys and pigs, to even camels and llamas. The best part of the farm area was the play area where kids can play in heaps of corn.We then went over to the pumpkin patch area. Didn't purchase entry for the pumpkin patch but bought stuff from their market and also a corn on the cob.Fun place to go to with your kids. Highly recommend. Parking was easy as they have parking attendants to help you find parking."
"This is a small hole-in-the-wall Mexican market between Gonzos Bar and Northwest Tri and Bike off of Kent-Kangley Road. Just look for the Little Caesar's sign or guy in a Little Caesar's costume from the street. You can't miss it! Upon entering you'll immediately notice how small the place is but it's quite clean. My first time here the staff was very helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. My subsequent visits were sub-par. I did get what I needed. There is a refrigerated display case with varying fresh meats. Their carne asada is delicious but is a bit pricey at over $9 a pound. They also sell some sausages and are great for grilling. Hot food items are also sold here. The menu varies from day to day. I just pointed at the items I wanted as my Spanish is quite lacking. The guy behind the counter spoke no English whatsoever but was quite friendly. There's ample parking since it is a small mall area attached to other stores. This is a place I would go due to its convenience. They have everything you would need out of a Mexican market in one small store. I was a bit bummed they didn't have fresh home made tortillas."
