Ryan B. "This hot dog stand literally changed my life... and here's how:So myself and two guys from work ended up at King Cobra one night and were standing outside so the two of them could have a smoke. We had had multiple beers and collectively close to a full bottle of Jameson consumed between the three of us, so we were a bit... "Loose." Some even more drunk bimbo-ish woman comes stumbling by toting a hot dog. The following dialogue took place:Me: "HEY! Is that an AWESOME HOT DOG?!!!"Her::" YOU'RE an AWESOME HOT DOG!!"Me: "I'll AWESOME HOT DOG IN YOU'RE EYE!" (i'm aware of the mispelling of "your." but this is an accurate description of the conversation, and in my verbal drunkenness I used the incorrect version of the word. don't question it)I'm not even sure what I meant by that, but the alcohol had completely removed any verbal filter I would normally have (and my sober verbal filter is faulty at best). She proceeded to get drunkenly angry and kick over the sand-filled cigarette/ash tray pot thingy outside of king cobra spilling sand and cigarettes all over the sidewalk. It was then we realized getting one of these hot dogs was a fantastic idea. And where my life got changed is when the man serving the hot dogs asked me:"Would you like cream cheese on that?"I was in such disbelief. As a man who loves cream cheese on most things, I had never thought of this combo. And it was so good (as far as I can remember) I have not had a hot dog without cream cheese since (well, except chili dogs).Thank you sidewalk cream cheese AWESOME HOT DOG Man!"

It checks all the boxes, especially if you're hungry. First time trying cream cheese on my hot dog, and let me tell you, it makes all the difference. I got the spicy dog with cream cheese, onions, and jalapeños. Great flavor -- the sausage tastes just like my favorite brand Evergood from the Bay Area. (If it is the same, he knows what's good!) Friendly and cheery vendor, really makes an effort to chat while he preps your order. Sometimes he'll get so invested in the convo that small mistakes arise or you'll need to repeat your preferences, but I personally don't mind. Support small!"

Ooh Lala Burgers made it on to Yelp's Top Places to Eat in Seattle list for 2023 and I was so excited to try this place since it's close to home.Don't come here looking for frills. It's attached to a small meat & produce store with some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. It's a walkup stand serving up a selection of burgers, as well as coffee and other treats and some savory sides. A lot of the burgers sounded really great, but I decided to go with a classic cheeseburger. The cheeseburgers come with a cheddar kaiser roll as the bun which was delicious. Burger itself had amazing flavor and was just done really well. The fries are hand cut every day and they are thicccc and generously seasoned. If you have the time to swing by, I highly recommend!"

My favorites of their jam are any of their habanero jams (just the right amount of heat) and their raspberry blends, although I have never had any that I dislike. These are so much better than store bought and the sweetness does not overpower the flavors of the jam. Their sauces are excellent too! Five stars for an awesome company who uses quality ingredients and has excellent people. I was at all 4 days of the festival and I must have stopped at this tent 5x!!! First the quesadillas are life changing! All handmade tortillas, fresh cotija cheese and possibly queso frescos (not 100% sure that the second white cheese was), It had steak, lettuce, and some peppers, and fresh homemade red or green salsa. It was sooo delicious. Reminded me of the food I had in Queretaro Mexico. I could eat this quesadilla every week for the rest of my life. The handmade corn tortillas themselves would be enough of a selling point to return over and over again. The jugo fresco (fresh juice) was also AMAZING!!!!!!!! I tried so many!!! The watermelon I probably had 3x, the tamarind was amazing, the Horchata was one of the best horchata drinks I've ever had, and the hibiscus was also amazing! They also had pineapple, Mellon, lime with cucumber and all sorts of other amazing juices. I cannot stress enough how good this food is!!!!! All that said, the folks running this place are equally amazing! What delightful humans. It was an honor to meet them and taste these family recipes! They are located next to beacon hill station so not having a car isn't enough reason not to visit. They also serve pizza. Though I haven't tried it, I'm curious. Oh and the Esquites (Mexican corn in a cup) was also delicious! Try everything! Including the fruit cups!!! I cannot wait to return!"

They were right, the lunch lived up to the hype. The menu was much bigger than I had expected but the counter service was super fast, helpful, and friendly. Serving sizes are huge too, well at least the chicken quesadilla surprised us. It was gigantic, stuffed with fresh cooked shredded chicken and cheese. The sauces, perhaps authentic, were a bit too spicy for me, but the food was flavorful enough that sauce was not really needed. Overall, in the area, worth the stop for yummy tacos, quesadillas, and burritos."

Lol He's not the biggest veggie eater so being able to witness him chow down on their veggie packed quesadillas (made w organic wheat & tillamook cheddar), this mama was most definitely happy! The spices that they use to season the veggies are magical! It's slightly spicy and full of flavor. Next time I will have to ask them about the spice blend. Typically the veggies are seasonal and may include a mix of the following: beets, carrots, onions, zucchini, kale, & cabbage which by the way are all cooked perfectly. The only thing I'll warn u about is once you've had a taste, you're gonna become addicted! Is it worth the $8bucks? You bet your arse it is!"

Kyle W. "With so many places packed in the street and heavy foot traffic, this place can be very easily overlooked. It is just a small counter where you order and grab the food to-go, with a microwave and containers containing the ingredients to make a variety of food listed in the menu. My first assumption of a microwave being so visible from the counter makes it feel like I am going to eat preheated food, but that's used for sprinkling cheese to melt on top of the burrito. I got the wet burrito with carnitas, which is a lot of food for the price, though a majority of the burrito is the tortilla and rice. It comes with sour cream, salad, choice of beans (opted for retried beans), and rice. Carnitas is quite juicy and tender, jam packed with more rice and beans inside the burrito. It's definitely enough for a single filling meal, or 1.5-2 regular meals! It's definitely a hole in the wall place, as the decor and surroundings are a bit run down, but it is worth to check out."

Nothing bad about them just nothing remarkable. Perhaps there is something else on the menu that is much better but it is called Chicken valley, so my assumption is that chicken is their speciality. If you're looking for a quick cheap bite, this place is probably cheapest you'll find in the market. Jacques I. "Yummy Ethiopian food with awesome staff! I saw the stand for Geni's Ethiopian Corner during the Night Market Festival in the International District, so decided to check them out, especially since they were grilling up veggies and meats that smelled oh so good! For the menu, there were only two options - vegetarian and a beef/meat combination, so went with the meat combination. The meat combination came with beef tibs, injera bread and choice of two sides; I chose kale and lentils. Although there was a line of people waiting for their food, the wait didn't take too long. And before I was given my plate, the chef kindly went over the two different sauces, a mild and spicy sauce that they had in bottles for people to help themselves to. My meal was good! I liked the beef tibs a lot more than I thought I would, as they were sauteed well, making the texture soft and easy to eat. I also liked that the meat was sauteed with onions and jalapenos, adding more spice to it. Kale and lentils were awesome sides! I really enjoyed both of them, but would say the lentils were my favorite part of the whole dish. They had a kind of spice to it, yet there was a nice citrus flavor to it, especially when you added the mild sauce from the bottle because it had a sour-like taste that was yummy! I haven't had much injera bread before, but it was a nice addition to the meal, particularly to soak up the sauce from the lentils and to roll up everything, like in a wrap. Glad to have tried Geni's Ethiopian Corner, as it provides solid Ethiopian food with a lot of flavor for around $12 on the go!"

John D. "High on the DogThere are as many unique ways to eat a hot dog as there are cities in this country. Some of the more well-known styles would have to be the kitchen sink Chicago Dog made famous by Portillo's, as well as the classic NY-style of serving it up simpley with shot or three of yellow mustard. Here in NorCal, we like bacon-wrapped dogs with avocado, while SoCal lays claim to the loaded foot-long Dodger (Doyer) Dog.But have you ever heard of a Seattle Dog? To be honest, we hadn't until we were doing some research on things to eat whilst visiting Seattle and came across this curiosity. It's essentially a hot dog w/ a cream cheese slathered bun that's topped with grilled caramelized veggies (onions, peppers and cabbage). While many places serve-up their own version of the Seattle Dog, Dog in the Park (DiP) lays claim to actually creating this heavenly concoction of mystery meat, veg and cheese. So, you may find yourself wondering if it's worth trying while visiting the Emerald City™? The simple answer is, hell yes. The made-to-order dogs are delicious, juicy and the right ratio of bun:dog:veg:cheese. My only complaint is that I would've loved some jalapeños in the veggie mix, but that's just the Cali boy in me talking. My other complaint is $8/dog is a bit steep, but these are tourist prices, plus Costco® has really messed up the hot dog market with their $1.50 dogs. So, just relax and cough up the dough--I promise you'll love it. DiP has two convenient locations, with one in Downtown Seattle at Westlake Park, and this one here right below the Space Needle©. Def give this unique dog a try when visiting the PNW. ^__^ (OvO){| |}---"--"---"
