"With more things opening back up, I decided to dine in and check out another fish and chips spot. I have tried Ivar's a few years back and recall that there you can opt for Cajun style etc. This place is located a little bit far off but still close to the water. This place offers some high quality fish and chips where the frying is on point, with no customizations. Every bite is crispy and it goes well with the tartar sauce and fries provided. However, I would say that the fish and chips is a little bit too dry, so a balance of crispiness and juiciness would be more ideal. There is ample socially distanced seating indoors and outdoors, with a great lakefront view."
"The bomb diggity!Lets get the one negative out of the way. These greek brothers refuse to upgrade their credit card dial up service, so if you're paying by card, wait for that 26k modem to activate, make the phone call to the bank and after like 2 minutes, your payment will go through. This can be painful because a line can form easily because of this. Why is this the best fish n chips around? Particularly the Cod? (Not a fan of Halibut). Its breaded perfectly, no oil and PIPING HOT!!! and Juicy!!! If you got a sensitive mouth, better wait a minute or two before taking that first bite, massive warnings to ya!!! How can it be so hot, yet so juicy and still tender at same time? What type of voodoo is this? Just remember, order the Cod n Chips, we actually always skip the fries, you also get charged less if you say no fries. We only have time for the good stuff, the Cod, the Prawns, Oysters, Chowder etc. We keep meaning to try the skewers, soon, one day.Additionally, the famously sometimes temperamental brothers that own the place seem to have softened up a bit. I never had a problem with them, but I am sure their temperament in the past could have garnered some bad reviews.I'm so glad they survived Covid and the bridge closure. A true GEM!!!Get the Cod!!!"

In a few moments, your number will be called and your piping hot food will be handed to you through the pick up window! Umbrella covered picnic tables, seat yourself... all condiments are next to food truck, help yourself! These people know how to make fish and chips! I definitely think my experience was 5 stars! The service was fast and friendly, we chose a nice table (they are ALL nice Hahah) and the weather was perfect.... Food was amazing!! Open 7 days a week at 11:30.. probably weekends are more crowded (we were here on a Thursday) . We'll be back!"
"Super love the Beef teriyaki. It's tender and juicy and you get a lot per order. Food was Delicious!!!"
"There's a reason this place is so highly rated. We tried the barramundi both ways (battered and grilled). The fish tacos were delicious-- fried to perfection with a crisp and light crust. You get your money's worth with big portions of fish that are larger than the tortillas and it feels light even though it's fried. The grilled barramundi was also tasty and a great option if you're trying to feel a little healthy. They make good tartar sauce and the fries were done well. We called in our order as we were heading up to Vancouver right after work and were trying to make it before they closed at 7pm. They were gracious to let us stay a little past closing while they cleaned up the kitchen, so our friend who was driving us up was able to eat which was much appreciated. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm visiting Seattle!"
"I came here to eat Red Wagon Burger with a friend for the first time. We simply ordered one hamburger each. There were tables and chairs inside the store, and there were several customers inside. The hamburger arrived in perfect shape. I cut it in half with a knife and it was easier to hold and eat. Burger taste was good! However, no services are provided here. I don't understand why I was asked to tip since everything was self-service."
"After enjoying a stroll through the botanical gardens and watching the ships go through the locks, the Lockspot Cafe was conveniently located nearby, just in time for a mid afternoon snack of clam chowder and a cold beer on a beautiful sunny day, plenty of seating outside to soak up the sun and enjoy the chowder and brew. The chowder wasn't the best I've ever had, but neither was it definitely not the worst. It could have been a little creamer and buttery tasting, but the amount of clams and over all flavor was good enough, worth the price, and the Maritime IPA went well with it. Maritime being another local brewery to check out later. Service was quick and friendly, a walk up window, place your order, and enjoy the sun for a few minutes. The chowder and beer was perfect to keep me going for the rest of the adventures for the day. Definitely will be back to try their fish n chips. Cheers!"
"The breakfast sandwich I had here was off the charts delicious. It was a basic bacon and egg sandwich..... but the crusty buttery bread and amazing sauce it came with put it over the top. The ladies working were so nice and efficient. The food came out super fast and as far as airport prices it wasn't super terrible. This will be my new go to when traveling during breakfast time through SeaTac. Well done!"
"Great food casual place some of the best chowder I have ever had. Hoping to make it back one more time before we head home. Service was a little slow but not too terrible. Overall good experience would recommend."
"Great guys. Great service. Great oysters. I'll be back. They helped me choose my oysters and I didn't have to wait long."
"The salmon burgers are delicious here and the fish tacos are among the best I've ever had! One of my new favorite Seafood restaurants. Actually it's a food trailer attached but the Seafood is fresh or authentic and is nicely prepared for a pop-up restaurant.I highly recommend a visit to this someone out of the way place for seafood meals."
"Read the reviews and came to check out the Pigfish. Helped that my normal stop (Burien Fish House) was closed on Mondays. Pigfish Cafe will now make it in the rotation when I come to Burien.Had an especially great spicy fish sandwich. The fish was fresh, plentiful and had an airy crispy beer batter that is as light as great tempura. The spice came in the sauce and was a nice touch and not overly spicy. They provided a separate container of sauce for fries or for the sandwich. I read reports of limp fries, but my fries were much better than that. They were crispy at the beginning, but did soften over time. No complaints though.Service was very pleasant and friendly. Got my food very quickly (less than 10 minutes) and it was freshly made! They have limited seating, so be aware that if you have a party of more than 2, there are only a couple of tables for you. Takeout is a fine option. Will be back for sure. Would like to try their Painted Hills beef burgers next. Highly recommended!Great local place"

Anthony's pier self service cafe very good for quick bite or drink. We took 2 taco 1 x mahi mahi and 1 x salmon taco. Salmon was very yummy but mahi mahi was a bit dry. It needs some salsa or sauce. We got only ketchup for fries. Unfortunately with virus there is no more salt or pepper on the tables anymore and there is nowhere individual small salt packets. Everything you have to ask for. Even straws or utensils. It's a bit annoying. I wish they just kept individual plastic utensils. Margaritas were mediocre but it's only $6 so I don't expect anything fancy.Vanilla ice cream was very good with very good taste and texture. ------Overall had a nice quick bite with nice fancy view. Place could be much cleaner and staff could be more friendly.

One of my favorite places for fish and chips. The fish is always battered to perfection which means more fish than batter. The food is always served piping hot. This time I decided to try the oyster basket and it did not disappoint. They were very generous with the portions of fries. I love how they had garlic vinegar on the side which is a game changer. The chowder was what caught me off guard because it was so good and rich. The chowder had tons of clams in it too. The location is nice and they have outside seating so that you can see the water as you eat. The service was lacking where the folks working there were just trying to get through the day. We didn't mind though since it is more of a order, pick up, quick bite and go. Parking will be tough since it is all street parking.

5 stars! Hear me out. There are some reviews that complain about the fish being oily/ greasy. I mostly disagree with this. There is some oil on it when it's handed to you. Why? Because it didn't sit under a heat lamp waiting to be brought out to you.The fish comes from the fryer to a basket to your hands in seconds not minutes. Try doing it at home and see your results. The fish does not taste greasy or oily. It is perfectly coated in a delicious but not overpowering batter, that allows the flavorful, flaky white fish taste to shine through. This is fresh fish fry as intended! Nice crunch leading into the soft meat. The fries are good. Nothing spectacular but good. The seafood is the name of the game here. The other star of the menu for us is the coconut shrimp. Simply put, fantastic! Nice large shrimp coated in a coconut flake batter that adds just the right amount of natural sweetness and crunch. I'm not sure if they make the sweet chili sauce that comes with it but delicious as well. The pricing is very good! The people that are there make you feel welcomed. Be prepared because they want the food in your hands as soon as it's ready and they will call your name out quickly and loudly... needed to be able to here and to get back to cooking the next fresh batch of food. We travel full time. Have been in Birch Bay for about a month. We go to Blaine to fish and eat here. Yesterday was our 6th trip to this delicious place. Goi g to miss it when we leave the area, but rest assured, we will be back!Try it. You'll most likely love it!

The Bento box is a must when you eat here. It comes with tempura food, California rolls, salad, teriyaki and rice, and gyoza. All of the food was pretty good, except the California roll. The crabmeat was pretty dry and I couldn't finish it. I loved the teriyaki chicken, as the sauce was pretty flavorful and sweet. The dressing for the salad was pretty good as well.Service was great. Very nice service and I could see that they get regular customers. The food was made in a timely manner. The ambiance of the restaurant was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just a good place to enjoy a meal.

This place is so cute! Happened to see it when I had to stop by my bank just down from it and decided to give it a try. I will for sure be back here. We had: Chowder. 3/5 this isn't a regular menu item and while it wasn't bad, in fact the flavor was actually quite good. When I think of chowder I think thick like clam chowder. The flavor was good, but was pretty runny. Make this thick and I'll be back for you. (It was also a seafood chowder which I quite liked. Different than the usual clam chowder you get a fish places) Fish and chips 10/5. I think I can say hands down this might be the best fish and chips I've ever had!! The batter was super crispy while also being so light on the fish. The chips were hand cut, cooked well and also crispy. I'm already planning my next stop for this! Calamari 5/5 these were also super yummy. They were lightly breaded rings. Way more calamari to breading the ratio was perfect. Flavor was great. Tartar 5/5. Let's face it sometimes the tartar makes the meal when it comes to a fish and chips place. Theirs is very good. Dill heavy and creamy. If you want the best fish and chips you'll ever have stop there today!

Checked this place out after hearing about the hype. Got their name sake burger, fried pickles, and my friend got the mushroom burger. The Red Wagon Burger($13.99) comes with house sauce, pickles, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and American cheese. The Mushroom Burger($11.99) comes with house sauce, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, grilled mushrooms and provolone cheese. The Fried Pickles($7.49) were not good. Not only was it a bit on the saltier side, but it I think they didn't give it enough time to for the oil to drain after pulling it out of the fryer. Refer to my pic where you can see the puddle of grease at the bottom of the basket after pulling out the the pickles and laying them out on some napkins. The napkins were soaked in grease.Speaking of napkins, the lady didn't give us any when she gave us our food. I had to come up to the counter to request them because they had it stored behind the counter. So you can either order through the cashier or do the self check out kiosk to the right.Overall, the burgers here have the half pound beef patty and is cooked medium well from my observation. All items are priced separately. There are no combo meals. It's a bit pricey but the size of the burgers can justify that. I wouldn't recommend the fried pickles unless you like extra grease. I would come here to eat if I am in the area. No need to go out of your way for an above average burger. Definitely better than your standard fast food burger though.Yelp 2024 Review #2929 overall

Definitely a serviceable "last meal before jumping on a plane". Food was really well cooked and came out pretty fast. There was a ton of seating and a really nice open space. I will say that I wish I had gotten the regular fish and chips instead of the salmon one. I had never seen salmon fish and chips and although it had a really nice crispy batter, the flavor of salmon doesn't match the whole idea i had of fish and chips when I went to get it. But definitely something I would get again if I was in the airport. The chowder fries bumped this review up to a 4 star. They were really good.
Visit Restaurant Page"On Thursday, 21 April 2022, my aunt treated me and two of my cousins from Minnesota to dinner after going on a driving tour around Fremont. It was the 60th anniversary of the Space Needle and Shawn O'Donnell's American Grill & Irish Pub had allocated two tables to Space Needle and Fremont themed items for sale. My cousins and aunt bought a few things as we were on our way in and pre-sitting down. One of the items both my cousins and aunt bought was a book about Fremont written by a local, who was there to autograph each book and write a personalized message. Both were very touched by the messages they got. Each of us ordered something different for dinner, I went with the Irish Whiskey Mac & Cheese. First, our Irish soda bread arrived, pre-entrees. We got two small loaves, each served with a dollop of butter. The butter was a little sweet, which paired perfectly when spread on the soda bread. The bread was served warm enough that the butter melted when spread on it, and was not too hot to handle or eat.Next up our entrees were served. The Irish Whiskey Mac & Cheese had corned beef, red onions, and a cream made in part from Irish Whiskey and Irish white cheddar cheese. I found the corned beef in the dish to be very lean, which is not something I have encountered frequently, and was very pleased with its flavor. The flavors melded perfectly and complimented each other well in such a way that the Irish Whiskey flavor helped balance the creaminess of the cheese and cream. Some mac and cheese dishes can be too creamy/rich for my taste buds, that was not the case with this dish. I enjoyed it so much I ate the whole thing in one go.The wait staff was friendly and quick. Tables were clean and our booth was stocked with board games on the window sill. We parked at my aunt's house, less than a block away, and walked to the restaurant so parking was a breeze. Overall a very enjoyable and pleasant experience."
"Very cozy, family owned and operated golf course bar/grill. The food was fantastic and the service was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back any time we need some good grub on Camano. Check out their crispy cauliflower and portobello mushroom fries. Their burgers are also very good."
"I stumbled upon this new food truck on social media last week, and just knew I had to check them out. I found out they were going to be hanging out at Fringe Brewing in Ferndale on Saturday, so I headed on up. I was delighted to see that their menu included great, beer friendly food, like burgers and fish and chips. But I was especially excited to see one of my favorites, clams and chips, on their menu too! While I waited inside with my Fringe beer, the clams and chips soon arrived, served atop a huge bed of fries and accompanied by three essential sauces ( ketchup, cocktail sauce, and tartar sauce). A small cup of coleslaw and a fresh lemon wedge completed the appetizing scene. The clams were perfectly cooked, and I gobbled them up. The slaw and sauces were good as well. The fries were a little soggy for my taste, though they sort of reminded me of the fries at Dick's Drive-In in Seattle, so if you like that style of fry you will probably love these. Personally I prefer my fries a little more crispy.Overall it was a great meal, and went well with my Fringe Porter. The service was on point as well. A husband and wife team we're doing the cooking, and another family member delivered my food. It's great to see a family-run operation slinging out some tasty grub. I will definitely seek out this truck again when I find it at a brewery near me. I would love to try those clam strips again!"
"Whenever I'm in Anacortes on a sunny day, The Cabana is my favorite place to stop for lunch or happy hour. Their menu (prepared at neighboring Anthony's) is full of fresh seafood options, nourishing salads, and great specialty cocktails. But the best part is the beautiful outdoor setting with views over the Anacortes marina. It's an amazing place to sit and enjoy drinks and good food while boat (and people) watching. The service is always on point, and there's rarely a long wait for one of their outdoor umbrella tables. If I had one issue, it's that their prices have gone up this past year, while their portion sizes have definitely dwindled. I recently had their poke bowl and it was more of a poke snack than a bowl. I guess it's a sign of the times - but it does make it less affordable for me to go there."
"Shawn O'Donnell's is an Irish pub and is named after a real person! Shawn opened the first location in Everett and has since opened multiple locations across the greater Seattle area including this one at the Smith Tower.I came here during their happy hour (daily 3-6pm and 9-close) which includes but is not limited to $6 wines, $6 pints, and $7 Irish cocktails. My first drink was the Irish manhattan ($7) which was strong and dry. Compared to its non-happy hour price ($12) I think this is the best bang for your buck during happy hour. My second drink was the salted caramel Irish coffee ($7) which was a hot drink and tasted good. It was sweeter and you can taste the salted caramel and makes for a great drink during the winter. This is a cool place for a group of people to hang out at. The vibes were cool and they have a good daily happy hour."
"Order three meals to share with family. It was actually a great portion of food in each basket. Order through the drive up window. An estimate of $10 dollars plus tax for each basket. Fried well! Impressed of the sizes of fish and shrimp. It was a pretty decent choice. Worth the try."
"I was tired of turkey and turkey-related food due to Thanksgiving, so a highly-rated Fish place in White Center was a great choice for me today.I read the reviews on Yelp so I came prepared with my order. The sole lady behind the counter was very nice and thanked me nicely for supporting the local small businesses.I had 2 pieces of the cod and a side of the slaw with 3 tartar sauce cups (thanks to prior reviewer's tip!). The cod pieces are very large and expertly coated and fried. They were wrapped individually in foil to keep them warm. The slaw was average but a bit healthier choice than fries. No indoor seating yet due to Covid but that's to be expected. I really enjoyed my large portions of fish and it really filled me up. Great place. Give it a try and support small biz!"
"I recently found myself on an epic road trip from Lynden to Fairhaven, which presented a great opportunity to visit Hannegan Seafoods. They weren't busy at all on this brisk Saturday morning, and my daughter and I made our way inside to choose some yummy deliciousness to fill up our freezer. This was my second time inside Hannegan and I was impressed by their seafood choices. The majority of their selection is frozen, and vacuum packed into either large slabs or single-sized portions. I opted for four (generous) portions of King Salmon - a steal at $10/pound - as well as a small bag of frozen sea scallops and four individually packed crabcakes (around $2/ea). We also grabbed a nibble of some of their yummy "salmon candy" out of the fresh case, and were good to go!While Hannegan Seafood has a great selection of frozen items, I would love to see more fresh selections there too - like oysters or clams, for example. The dude at the counter could have been a bit more friendly. He seemed annoyed that we were there!"
"After my morning run today, Saturday 12 August 2023, I came to Nick's Jr Burgers and Gyros hoping to find an option to help satiate my low blood pressure. Looking over the menu, I went with the peanut butter bacon burger and fried pickle chips to-go. It was quiet inside and a worker stood at alert and was attentive in taking orders. I waited at an empty table as they prepared my meal. The to-go bag came with napkins and a dipping sauce as well.Peanut butter on the peanut butter bacon burger was evenly distributed on the whole burger. It was slightly sweet and was subtle enough that I could taste the other toppings as well. The patty was well cooked and the bacon was both juicy and crispy. For the fried pickle chips, I found them to be hot and flavorful. The pickle chips were thick enough I could taste the pickle itself and the dipping sauce was tasty. My low blood pressure was satiated and belly satisfied."
"We went down to Kirkland a couple of times to pickup lunch in the past weeks, the food truck is really great. We loved the fish and chips and we tried a couple of their specials each week. The salmon sliders were awesome and the tacos are delicious too. I hope the truck stays around, maybe even coming to Redmond?!? It's a great idea and they make awesome food."
"We stopped here to get a few supplies/food when we stayed at the marina. The Cascade Bay Grill & Store had few supplies if looking for supplies while boating, it felt more geared towards the grill. They have tasty fish and chips if you are in the mood to eat out. The view out over the marina is beautiful and the grill is right by the rocks on the edge of the water, making it a fun place to eat and watch wildlife."
"I tried the fish sandwich, the red beans and rice, and the macaroni salad from Fish Box. I ordered delivery, so I'm not able to speak on the restaurant experience, but I had a great time with the food at home. The fish sandwich was delicious and crisp even after a delivery drive, and the tartar sauce was amazing. It came with fries as well. The rice beans and rice were good, but not my favorite. In contrast, the Mac salad was excellent and I will definitely be getting that again as a side. I'm very excited to try Fish Box again!"
"This is an excellent gourmet burger restaurant, at a very affordable price. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and french fries. The burger was cooked to perfection, and had incredible flavor. If you enjoy onion rings, these onion rings are exceptional. It's been a long time since I've had good onion rings, most don't meet my expectations. These were some of the best onion rings I've ever had. The fries were good and cooked perfectly, but it was hard to top the outstanding onion rings. If you are in the mood for a very good burger, fries or onion rings, this restaurant is a must-try."
"They come to our neighborhood fairly regularly and it's one of our favorites. They do fish and chips and tacos really well, yummy fish and good portions. Coleslaw is not included, so order it as a side if you would like one. The only small negative is the clam chowder, it's more like pudding, but I guess if stuff is cooking for a while, stuff just thickens (a lot). Oh and don't forget to bring your own bag, they don't provide one and if you grab dinner for a couple of people, it's hard to carry everything without dropping the boxes."
"Oh man! These are some of the best fish and chips I've ever had! Not only that, but the tartar sauce is delicious and even the coleslaw is tasty. Crinkle fries were perfectly cooked. The waitress was really sweet and welcoming. My food came out lightning fast! Inside is decorated with adorable ocean - themed decor and the restroom was spacious and clean. I only wish I didn't live 50 miles away! Definitely worth the stop if you're in Monroe."
"For the past 15 years, in an effort to make 'gourmet' burgers, they've started making GIANT burgers that look great on insta, but you can't actually fit in your mouth (and I have a giant mouth). Well, this joint bucks that trend. Thank goodness."
"Still as good as ever. This Red Leicester burger is hands down one of the top 5 burgers on the Eastside. We got a side of curry for the fries too. Delish! Also have a great bangers and mash and fish and chips. Guinness is always well poured."
"We needed somewhere to rest our feet and recharge so we decided to take a break at the Armory and grab a bite! Matt's was a nice little find! The portions are pretty good for the price! And the fry on everything was perfect. Loved that they had a sampler basket so we could try everything. Their shrimp were also huuuuuuuge!!!! The fried oysters were definitely my favorite though, but everything was delicious. Also what a happy surprise to find they serve dole whip!! A great unexpected treat! Don't skip out on it!"
"Anthony's pier self service cafe very good for quick bite or drink. Place could be much cleaner and staff could be more friendly."
"Simple fried chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. Crispy and juicy. Wings are the huge 3 section wings (as opposed to the individual parts at wings restaurants) so the $11 for 7 plate isn't as expensive as it first sounds. Reminds me of Roscoe's in Los Angeles minus the waffles (crap reading the other reviews, they must have waffles on a menu that I didn't see). Come to think of it, I am going to have my leftovers with Belgian waffles for breakfast tomorrow.Order took about 15 minutes to fry up fresh. I was there in an off hour after the Blue Angels at Seafair. Saw the sign while stuck in traffic..."
"I honestly wasn't sure if I wanted to share information about The Secret Cove ( @secretcoveanacortes ), in Anacortes, WA! They are literally in this "secret cove" area and have a super cute restaurant, that overlooks Guemes Island, which is one of our San Juan Islands, in Western WA! Such a gorgeous area, to enjoy some tasty Fish N' Chips, Burgers, Pastas or anything else, in this fun little restaurant! We highly recommend the upstairs seating, where you and your friends can enjoy the views, even better! Lmk if you make it, because I need to try more of their stuff! Cheers!!! #SecretCove#AnacortesWA#seafoodobsessed #lovehiddengems#fishnchips#burgers#pastas#salads#supportsmallbusiness #supportlocalInstagram : @PassportToGoodEats"
"Quick, friendly and delicious food. I tried the Combo Philly Cheesesteak! It was hot, delicious and perfect. The bun was crispy and the meat was tasty, no fat and piping hot melted cheese. Lots of onions and jalapeños. The French fries were good, crispy and hot with decent flavor. I'm very picky when it comes to Philly cheesesteak sandwiches! Most other places the meat is low quality and fatty but not Red Wagon. I was pleasantly and surprised that this was not the case. They offer fountain drinks of Pepsi products, offer beer on tap and many choices of bottles or cans. And other drink choices such as canned coke. Restaurant was clean and tidy, rolls of paper towel at the table on a spindle. Option to self order or order at counter. They have delivery through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grub Hub from what I recall. Definitely coming back to try out their burgers which looked amazing!"
"I would describe my experience at the Shawn O'Donnell's on 128th Street Southeast in Everett this morning, Wednesday 12 July 2023, as warm and spirited. Arriving a little after opening, around 8:15 a.m., I found a mix of George Ezra and Irish music playing as I dined. I had been a little apprehensive about dining so early, I typically eat at the location in Fremont with my aunt where music is usually playing, and was relieved the music choice matched both the time of day and restaurant theme. The hostess/waitress was positively chipper and I found my breakfast to be a warm start to the day.Looking over the menu, I went with the soda farls and gravy (an Irish biscuits and gravy of sorts with soda farls as the biscuits), which came served with potatoes. As someone who loves soda bread, and has not fully acquired a taste for biscuits and gravy yet, I thoroughly enjoyed the soda farls instead of biscuits. The gravy was plentiful and served already drizzled over the farls. I had enough I could dip my potatoes in. It was a rich gravy and not too sweet. I was slowing down by the time I finished it all, but found it was not an overly filling serving size."
